Neste trabalho foram estudadas instabilidades magnetohidrodinâmicas (MHD) utilizando um novo sistema bolométrico que foi instalado no tokamak TCABR para medidas da evolução temporal da potencia irradiada. Este novo sistema conta com 24 cordas verticais, capazes de mapear toda uma seção poloidal da coluna de plasma com resolução espacial de aproximadamente 2 cm e uma resolução temporal de 20 _s. Four of these seals are sealstones, and one is the bezel of a metal seal ring. Lipase, from porgy (Stenotomus chrysops) viscera, was purified by polyethylene glycol (PEG) 1000 precipitation, followed by dialysis and affinity chromatography on EAH-Sepharose 48. The digestive lipase from porgy showed seasonal variation in activity with high activity found in late summer and early fall compared with a spring sample. Polyethylene glycol (PEG) precipitation fraction was used to characterize this enzyme using p-nitrophenyl palmitate (pNPP) as substrate. The polarization behaviour for six species of Scarab beetles from the Chrysina genus is investigated with Mueller Matrix Spectroscopic Ellipsometer (MMSE). The m41 element of the matrix, which is related to the circular polarization behaviour, is analysed. Light reflected from the scarab beetles Cetonia aurata (C. aurata) and Chrysina gloriosa (C. gloriosa) has left-handed polarization. In this work the polarizing properties and structural characteristics of the cuticles of these two beetles are investigated with two different techniques: scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and Mueller-matrix spectroscopic ellipsometry (MMSE). This study was conducted to evaluate the impact of sustained ozone dosages rates (0, 3, 13, 25, and 45 g O3 per kg feed delivered per day)on water quality profile, fish physiology, and growth during a production cycle of hybrid striped bass reared in pilot scale recirculating systems. Nitrogenous wastes and dissolved organic compounds increased linearly (p < 0.01) throughout the trial under both ozonated and unozonated conditions.
