Artykuł omawia zmiany w zakresie kultury języka tekstów homilii a także wypowiedzi osób związanych z kościołem po wydarzeniach 1989 roku w Polsce. Autorka tekstu zwraca uwagę na specyficzne zabiegi językowe (m. in. wybór konkretnej kategorii osoby, nadużywanie zaimków nieokreślonych, nieosobowych form czasowników), które sprzyjają uproszczeniu opisywanej rzeczywistości oraz kreacji dychotomicznej wizji świata.
