Abstract:

The thesis focuses on automated trading systems for trading on currency market. It describes basics of market analysis and deals with the design, optimization and identifying appropriate indicators of automatic trading system, which is based on the Fibonacci retracement. This system should serve as a decision support for trader's operations in the currency market. Furthermore, this thesis deals with the possibility of avoiding exchange rate risk by trading in the foreign exchange market.

Abstract:

The cornerstone is a general view of the future as a world that is markedly different from ours. This vision of the future cannot be done due to the influence of presence. Inner inspiration is objects with unclear functions occurring in science fiction (stories Space Odyssey and AC Clark and iconic roadside picnic). Formally, the objects are inspired by different things from the world of science fiction (kryptonite, traffic alien machines from a newer version of War of the Worlds, Star Trek series and their transporters, etc.). Against this background, I am creating minimal objects with small signs of function as a testimony of traveler to the future. The basic material is a transparent silicone and LEDs.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with possibilities the employees have when they are returning to work from maternity or parental leave. The theoretical part of the thesis analyzes different flexible working arrangements in the czech labour market and current legislation for maternity and parental leave. The practical part is focused on a comparison among selected european countries in flexible working arrangements and formal childcare for children under three years of age and from three years to the minimum compulsory school age. Also discussed is the current situation in two surveyed companies. The main objective is to confirm or disprove the stated hypotheses and create suggestions which have a positive affect on an early return from maternity and parental leave for companies and government.

Abstract:

The present thesis deals with an urban design covering area bounded by Křížková, Václavská, Hybešova and Nová Hybešova Streets. It offers a new design of future streets and public spaces because the thesis is an reaction to the architectural competition for the new conceptual design of Mendlovo Square. The thesis develops the area to the east and introduces a new design of the extension of Hybešova Street, new future streets and the Square. A part of this project also contains a detailed design study of the few selected city houses. The main objective is to design a sensitive urban concept aimed at increase housing density and allowing new possibilities for the designed area.

The thesis deals with the topic of return of housing to the city centers. It is divided into three sections. In the first part I analyze the area concerned. The analytical part is followed by an urban study, which offers a solution to the reurbanization of the site. The last section is devoted to urban detail - a residential block divided into eight apartment buildings, four of which I work on at the level of an architectural study.

The proposal builds on the transport solution for the Mendel Square competition, ie the creation of a new street by extending Hybešova Street to Mendel Square. Abstract:

The Master´s Thesis showcases a proposal of housing in the centre of the city. The proposal is located near the historical centre of the city Brno. The thesis is mostly done as a urban study and partly in a detail of a architectural study. It includes wider analysis of the current state plus the new proposal, street design and city block detail. In this proposal I think about the need of a green space in the city. In my thesis you are being introduced to few unordinary houses. They are not traditional in a term of city block houses, because they are solitaires. Those forms bring new possibilities for green space in the city and inhabitant´s satisfaction.

Abstract:

The thesis deals in its first part with the urban design of the brownfield site in Brno in the Old Brno district. The analytical part deals with the issue of the zoning of urban plan and the results of the Mendel Square architectural competition. The proposed urban solution is based on a traditional block of flats combined with a solitaire and defines various public spaces. In the second part, the architectural design of a typical block and four multifunctional apartment buildings in it is proposed.

Abstract:

Traditional well-known czech brands that domestic consumers kept buying during the socialism period, have been successfully returning to the Czech market in the recent years. Besides reestablishing original retail brands we are now encountering co called ''retrowave'' in general, which is represented with TV retro series and programs, exhibitions and local brand support projects. The theme of this thesis has been chosen due to its actual and contemporary reasons and overall inclinations of Czech consumers to the traditional brands and values. The goal is to examine and describe this trend, its factors, circumstances and contingencies and also to support key findings with several successful real examples from the market. The thesis describes thoroughly successful return of traditional czech baking oven Remoska and its expansion to both Czech and foreign households. The practical part of this thesis processes empirical research on the Czech population sample designed by the author which is supposed to analyze the trends described above.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis deals with the financial resources of municipal authorities with the intention on so called repayable financial resources. Repayable financial resources represent significant component for financing short-term and long-term projects of municipal authorities and serve as an important financial instrument for the development of municipal territory. The aim of the thesis is to evaluate forms and potentials of using repayabe financial resources by municipal authorities and also to consider the restriction to use repayable financial resources reflecting the state efforts to regulate the indebtedness of municipal authoritis. The evaluation of repayable financial resources is based on a questionnaire inquiries which was realized within municipal authorities of the Czech Republic. The questionnaire answers the questions of using repayable funds, their most frequent forms, and risk aversion of the municipal authorities.

Abstract:

This thesis is focused on the situation of women - mothers in the Czech labor market as a vulnerable population groups. The work comprehensively analyzes the current system of support for women on maternity leave and subsequent return to the labor market. The theoretical part provides basic concepts and institutions associated with the harmonization of work and family life of women. The analytical part is focused on the causes of insecure women, which are captured from different angles: women, employers, and experts such as sociologists and psychologists. The analysis also provides a comparison of the CR family policy with selected European countries. To better illustrate, the work included a survey that was conducted in the South Region by the questionnaire method. In conclusion this thesis, there are summarizes most important findings detected during processing of the topic.

When working on my thesis, I based on real economic, operational and technical data carried out within full operation of the Myslivna Hotel. In the innovation section I present measures that can lead to an increasing trend of occupancy and the quality ot the services provided there. There is a need to spend a considerable amount of money on the realization of all the proposals, but their return shoud definitely have a very positive effect on the function and prospertiy of the Myslivna Hotel.

The diploma thesis is focused on the quality of provided services of Prometheus Hotel in Brno. This hotel has already provided services of high quality to its customers but it has faced low summer occupancy and a high staff turnover problem. This diploma thesis is based on concrete and real economic, technical and operational data of Prometheus Hotel. The design part presents possible measures that eliminate low occupancy during the summer months as well as high turnover of employees. Other design parts contribute to the overall prosperity of Prometheus Hotel. The implementation of the proposed measures requires a considerable amount of costs, but they should lead to an increase in the services provided throughout the hotel.

The diploma thesis is focused on problematic of unemployment in the district of Kromeriz between 2005 and 2009. I have analysed unemployment per categories, for example age, sex, education etc. The goal of this thesis is to briefly review current situation and suggest improvements which could lead to reduction of unemployment rate in district of Kromeriz in 2010.

The thesis focuses on proposals in the area of decreasing the rate of unemployment in the district of Vyškov. The main target is to decrease the rate of unemployment and to increase employability of clients of the Labour Office on the labour market. The thesis analyzes the current situation not only in the district of Vyškov but also all over the Czech Republic and the European Union. It includes proposals of raising the employment rate in this region.

My diploma thesis points to unemployment as a serious economical and social problem. It deals with unemployment in Vyškov region. This dissertation solves the problems with management of capital goods in the company FORMIRA, s.r.o. The dissertation is elaborated from the analysis of present situation in the plant, whereas the heed is oriented to the most important areas, especially the organization and service activity and maintenance of assets. The result of performed analysis is the identification weak points. Proposals are submitted in the second part of the dissertation, in order to solve the problems found by presented analysis. The economical evaluation of the proposals and determinations of assumptions for the application of extended results to the company use is performed at the end of the dissertation.
