This thesis describes hedging transactions against foreign exchange rate risk which is a significant problem for a number of domestic companies trading with foreign partners. The objective of this paper is to characterize possible ways to eliminate or minimize a foreign exchange rate risk and to assess effects on economic results and liquidity of the company arising from the use of hedging instruments compared to the situation without hedging transactions. The practical analysis is shown on two Czech companies exposed to a foreign exchange rate risk. The analysis is focused on currency forwards negotiated with the bank and natural hedging in connection with an application of a hedge accounting.

Mathematical morphology stems from set theory and it makes use of properties of point sets. The first point set is an origin image and the second one (usually smaller) is a structuring element. Morphological image transformations are image to image transformations based on a few elementary set operators. Fundamental morphologic operations are dilation, erosion and hit or miss. Next operations described in this work are opening and closing. Originally morphological operators were used for binary images only, later they were generalized for grey tone and color ones. This work describes the basic morphological image processing methods including their practical usage in image filtering and segmentation.

The aim of this work is to create a library for Boolean operations on 3D polygonal meshes. Resulting library has to support open models, its memory requirements shouldn't exceed those of existing solutions and it should, ideally, support multiple models. Most of the existing solutions are vulnerable to arithmetic inaccuracies, or do not support open meshes. The solution is based on Adaptive Mesh Booleans method which treats input models as adaptive surfaces. This method assumes that input models can be arbitrarily refined and no individual polygon is particularly important. Instead of computing exact polygon intersections, the input meshes are refined in intersection regions, intersecting polygons are discarded and created holes are closed. Advantages of this approach are robustness against numerical errors, support for open meshes, possibility to trade accuracy for computation time and ability to solve cases like co-planar and near-coincident regions. The resulting library offers three Boolean operations: union, difference and intersection.

This thesis will deal with the illegal operations and practices which are carried on the capital market in the Czech Republic. Capital markets in the Czech Republic are relatively new financial market sector. Despite improving regulation and supervision law is being broken. The thesis defines the essential characteristics of illegal practices associated with investing in capital markets, focusing on the illegal practice of excessive trading. This thesis describes the relationship between the investor and the broker from initial contact to the moment of withdrawal of the license of a brokerage firm and next step of investor. During this process the thesis will pay attention to the broker fee, compare the fees for trading between selected dealers. At the end of this thesis, the author tries to propose solutions to the problem of illegal practice of excessive trading.

This Master´s thesis deals with the design of a robotic cell for manipulation operations. By two robots are performed manipulation operations with a product between turntable, station with a pulsed fiber laser, label printer with applicator and conveyor belt. Further, the thesis describes the selection process of each device of the robotic cell, the design of an end effector and a fixture. The robotic cell is designed in compliance with the safety standards. The aim of this thesis is to design the robotic cell, which meets the requirement for a given cycle time. The cycle time is determined using a simulation model of the robotic cell created in PLM software Siemens Process Simulate.

The subject of this thesis is neural network acceleration with the goal of reducing the number of floating point multiplications. The theoretical part of the thesis surveys current trends and methods used in the field of neural network acceleration. However, the focus is on the binarization techniques which allow replacing multiplications with logical operators. The theoretical base is put into practice in two ways. First is the GPU implementation of crucial binary operators in the Tensorflow framework with a performance benchmark. Second is an application of these operators in simple image classifier. Results are certainly encouraging. Implemented operators achieve speed-up by a factor of 2.5 when compared to highly optimized cuBLAS operators. The last chapter compares accuracies achieved by binarized models and their full-precision counterparts on various architectures.

Final thesis is focused on design of experimental workplace with industrial robots for manipulation operations, that will be used for educational and demonstrational purposes. Integration of sub-systems and workplace layout are worked out in this thesis. Key factor is so called virtual commissioning. Unique solution, which is contained within final thesis, combines several software tools for the design of robotic workplace. Static 3D model created in Autodesk Inventor Professional is imported into Tecnomatix Process Simulate, where dynamic 3D model is made – simulation model respectively. The control element is softPLC by Beckhoff company created in TwinCAT software. The connection of simulation model and control element is realized using standardized communication protocol OPC UA. This combination proved to be a cheap tool for virtual commissioning in practice, because only one personal computer is needed for the job.

Smyslem práce není podrobné srovnání zachycování jednotlivých účetních operací týkajících se leasingu, jedná se spíše o poukázání na rozdíly v pojetí obou systémů a zamyšlení se nad tím, která z koncepcí je vhodnější.

This diploma thesis focuses on trade environment in Mexico with special focus on practical example of a particular trade operation. The aim is to analyze trade environment in Mexico on an example of particular trade operation. The first part focuses on main attributes, characteristics and structural problems of the Mexican economy. The second part describes more in detail the country's business environment and customs procedures. The last chapter analyzes the selected trade operation of export of goods to Kuwait performed by small Mexican trade company. Based on the analysis of the operation are identified several recommendations for potential improvement of the exporter's activities. Methods of interview, description, analysis and comparison are used. The bibliography cites printed resources, books and articles, as well as electronic resources, statistical databases and legal rules. The practical part was elaborated with support of the exporter's and freight forwarder's experts, who provided access to information and documentation needed.

Dissertation thesis is focused on development, design and production of the new milling cutter which is used for roughing operations. High-speed steels, coating technology and milling technology are described in first chapters of dissertation thesis. The main part of this thesis is the design of the new milling cutter that has been designed on the basis of the machining simulation. The milling cutter is designed as a three-flute cylindrical end mill made of high speed steel. The each flute is composed of two special compensation edges. The compensation edges are used for reducing (at best suppression) tensile stress in the heel of the tooth. The milling cutter was made by lost wax technology, followed by grinding and thermal treatment. New designed tools were deposited by PVD coatings (e.g. (Al,Ti)N). Standard catalog milling cutters (producer ZPS - milling tools, Zlín, Czech Republic) were used for comparison the designed milling cutter. Carbon steel CSN 41 2050 (DIN 1.1191) was used for milling, which was carried out with using process liquid. The monitored parameters were force loading, flank wear and tensile stress during milling. The dynamometer Kistler was used for measuring force loading and data obtained during machining was used for stress analysis.

In the second half of the work are described specific services, represented by franchising and its financial resources in foreign currency. The whole issue is accompanied by a withholding tax and value added tax in services segment.

It focuses on the specifics of accounting issues such as cryptocurrency reporting, valuation and accounting records, specifics of value added tax, taxation of income from cryptocurrency operations and more. Based on the findings, the work defines the issue of cryptocurrencies and cryptocurrency operations, including reporting, and defines recommendations mainly in accounting and tax areas. Based on this, model examples of cryptocurrency operations are created.

Analyzuje podmínky dovozu, průběh dovozních operací, interkulturální rozdíly v obchodním jednání a další náležitosti s dovozem související. Na základě této analýzy jsou zformulována doporučení pro úspěšný import zboží z Číny. Závěr práce je věnován konkrétnímu obchodnímu případu, který demonstruje průběh dovozu z Číny v praxi.

Gaining investor's trust is fundamental feature in any successful capital market. Unfortunately, this is the most attacked point by various types of illegal transactions, practices or unethical behaviour in nowadays society. The aim of this diploma thesis is to examine the function of investment intermediaries and their tied agents and to analyse financial frauds practiced by them. Iniquities of these participants disrupt trust in the capital market as well as natural development. Capital market in the Czech Republic is relatively young industry in the financial sector which is searching for a way to excellent performance by means of changes, regulations, measures of the law etc., therefore I consider fighting against this kind of practices as a very important matter. At the end of this diploma thesis I try to propose solutions to the issue in the form of better regulation and more ethical business of investment intermediaries of the capital market in the Czech Republic.

This thesis deals with general polygon boolean operation algorithms. Boolean operations are e.g. intersection, union or difference. A general polygon can be e.g. a selfinterecting polygon with inner hole. Clipping of polygons against a rectangular window is probably the most familiar boolean operation on polygons. At first, basic definitions are listed. Then the principles of a selected set of boolean operation algorithms are reviewed. Finally, a complex comparison of the algorithms is undertaken. Performance as well as the ability to handle degenerate cases are tested. The output of this thesis is an overall evaluation of algorithm properties and a dynamic library that contains the implementation of all of the tested algorithms.

The banking industry is without a doubt one of the most innovative segments. Its products are continuously evolving with the advent of new technologies, globalization, competition and regulation. IASB attempt to capture what is happening to modify IFRS. On the other hand bank's lobbying actions can also be seen on countless amendments to International Accounting Standard on financial instruments. Therefore, IAS 39 has become difficult to understand, apply and interpret and thus IASB developed a new exposure draft IFRS 9. This diploma thesis compares Czech Accounting Standards, IAS 39 and IFRS 9 for derivatives, bonds and repurchasing agreements, focusing on their different classification, the concept of fair value and own credit risk. The practical part is based on products of Financial Markets department at ING Bank. Finally, it outlined the latest developments in the convergence process between IFRS and U.S. GAAP relating to the issues described.

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá aproximativní implementace aritmetických operací v obrazových filtrech. Zejména tedy využitím aproximativních technik pro úpravu způsobu násobení v netriviálním obrazovém filtru. K tomu je využito několik technik, jako použití převodu násobení s pohyblivou řadovou čárkou na násobení s pevnou řadovou čárkou, či využití evolučních algoritmů zejména kartézkého genetického programování pro vytvoření nových aproximovaných násobiček, které vykazují přijatelnou chybu, ale současně redukují výpočetní náročnost filtrace. Výsledkem jsou evolučně navržené aproximativní násobičky zohledňující distribuci dat v obrazovém filtru a jejich nasazení v obrazovém filtru a porovnání původního filtru s aproximovaným fitrem na sadě barevných obrázků.

The main research question of the thesis is: what role can a navy play in a counter-insurgency campaign? The decision to focus on the role of the Royal Navy is based on the fact, that the Royal Navy is probably the most experienced navy in the world in the field of counter-insurgency. Five counter-insurgency campaigns were selected as case studies for this thesis, namely Palestine (1945-1948), Malaya (1948-1960), Cyprus (1954- 1958), Malaysia (1963-1966) and Aden (1965-1967).

This paper is created based on the real situation in Armatmetal s.r.o. Based on customer requirements and possible reduction of finishing operations at the end of production in the foundry. The foundry technology of gravity casting into sand molds is changed to gravity casting into metal mold. To change technology at Armatmetal s.r.o. two types of castings were selected. The "Kloub 55 s vidlicí" casting was selected by the customer to test the new technology. Casting "Klínová koncovka KN10" was chosen by Armatmetal s.r.o. because of the structural design of the casting and the high repeatability of production. Castings are the subject of the paper. The diploma thesis includes methods of solving the elimination of foundry defects occurring on a complicated casting " Kloub 55 s vidlicí". The main aim of the thesis is to assess the technical-economic contribution of the change of foundry technology of the casting " Klínová koncovka KN10". The paper also includes a complex comparison of the current and new technology production with related problems and their solutions.

According to the feministic premises, the Czech foreign policy should be highly masculinises in the way of realistic discourse because of very low representation of women in foreign policy processes in the Czech Republic. The aim of this thesis is to analyse feminisation and masculinisation of the Czech foreign policy in cases of three events -- the terroristic attacks from September 11, 2001, Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom. This thesis points out the plurality of masculine and feminine values. From that reason it is not possible to adapt feminist critic of realism to the Czech foreign policy. The masculine values of the Czech foreign policy are determined more by the liberal constructivism.

With the hectic time of today, the number of people with cardio-vascular disorder increases continuously. A whole range of factors are the cause of this disorder. Among others, it is stress which people are mostly exposed to, due to the modern bustling style of life. Further, it is improper food, obesity, diabetes mellitus, smoking and many other reasons increasing the risk of this illness. In connection with cardio {--} vascular disorder, the patients may be confronted with the decision, whether to undergo a cardiac {--} surgery operation or not. The patients quite understandably go a whole range of emotions, anxiety and feelings in connection with the cardio-surgery operation. In our thesis, we determined 3 aims. In the first aim, we concentrated our attention on the cardio-surgery patient´s perceiving him himself, his family and his future in connection with the cardio-surgery operation. The aim was carried out. Four hypotheses refer to this aim. Hypothesis number 1: The cardio-surgery patient perceives the cardio-surgery operation as the result of his life style. Hypothesis number 2: After the heart operation, the cardio-surgery patient feels to have failed in the eye of his family. Hypothesis number 3: The psychic wellbeing of the cardio-surgery patient depends on the help and assistance of his family (background) during the time of his convalescence. Hypothesis number 4: The cardio-surgery patient believes to be able to join in a normal life, the same as before his health problem leading to the cardio-surgery operation has started. The second aim has to do with the most frequent anxieties the cardio-surgery patient must cope with in connection with the heart operation. The aim was carried out. To this aim, the hypothesis number 5 related: Highly specialized nursing care of a cardio-surgery patient is concentrated on the most frequent anxieties of these patients. The third aim was directed at non-saturated needs of the cardio-surgery patient during the time of his hospitalization after the operation. To this aim, the hypothesis number 6 applied: In the nursing care of a cardio-surgery patient, the problems arising from dissatisfying the psychic needs prevail over dissatisfying the basic needs. The dates for the purpose of the research examination were collected in the form of an anonymous questionnaire consisting of 32 questions. The question used here were both opened and closed. The questionnaires were given to hospitalized patients before and after the heart operation in 6 cardio-centers. The research complex was produced by 185 respondents. The results were graphically worked into column graphs and tables. In the research examination, 4 of 6 hypotheses were confirmed. The results of this work will be applicable with the work of the nurses at the cardio-surgery for the purpose of improving the nursing care of cardio-surgery patients.

This master thesis is focused on accounting operations in a group according to Czech and international accounting legislation and on how to report individual elements in consolidated financial statements. It also includes explanation of terms in the field of consolidated financial statements such as consolidation methods, parent entity, subsidiary, and intercorporate transactions in a group according to Czech and international legislation. These theoretical concepts are applied on an existing group which is a group consisting of a parent entity and three subsidiaries and its consolidated financial statements in an accounting period from 1st January 2016 to 31st December 2016. Operations among the parent entity and the subsidiaries and their effect on consolidated financial statements are also described. Therefor this thesis includes a draft of consolidation rules and examples of other transactions which may occur among a group and their effect on consolidated financial statements but did not occur in an examined group. Results of this thesis summarize reasons and methods of consolidation in an examined group, transactions which may have an impact on consolidated financial statements and how these transactions originate. Examined parent entity does not create any consolidation rules, it neither has any methodology of identifying operations with an impact on consolidated financial statements. The parent entity does not inform users of the consolidated financial statements about identifying operations among the group, the reasons of their existence and the reasons of their elimination in consolidated financial statements. However, the parent entity prepares and presents the consolidated financial statements according to valid legislation. Based on gained information, the parent entity prepares the consolidated financial statements only for the legislative purposes, it has no use for the parent entity itself, neither for the subsidiaries.

In recent years, some scholars have turned their attention towards the problem of multiple simultaneous peace operations (MSPOs), but with little focus on state motivations for their initiation. This thesis examines the case of the conflict in Mali and the high amount of operations deployed there by different actors. It does so through an instrumental case study of the establishment of these operations and of the French role in this process. The thesis finds that France was at first eager to deal with the conflict by supporting regional actors, but with the crisis deteriorating, becoming ever more involved. Next to its own intervention, it led various international organizations to operate alongside it in order to share the conflict management burden while remaining critically influential and securing its goals. This approach allowed France to balance the interests of its domestic audience, western allies, as well as those of the governments in the region. Based on the analysis, the thesis suggests that the proclaimed logic of division of labor between different organizations deploying MSPOs might be a justification for primarily generating as much resources as available while reducing various kinds of costs, although without any explicit evidence for it being a conscious effort of using the...

This diploma thesis deals with operation DELETE in coalesced hashing. First of all we talk about principles of hashing itself and we describe some basic types of hashing. Chapter 3 is devoted to coalesced hashing and creating the corresponding hash table using di erent inserting methods with or without cellar presence. Then, three algorithms for deleting records form hash table are introduced. Their implementaion is discussed in detail for every inserting method of coalesced hashing. Simulated data experiments follow the theoretical part of the thesis. They are focused on comparing time consumption of the delete algorithms as well as search performance before/after delete. The presented algorithms are implemented in C language and are available on enclosed CD together with the measured results.

Laser surgical method LASIK (laser in situ Keratomileusis) is one of the most modern methods of eyecorrection defects in the present. The principle is to create a thin layer of the cornea called lamella, which is under the changed shape of the cornea with laser so that defect was corrected fragility of the optical system of the eye.plates creating a device called a microkeratome, which cuts a thin layer of corneal epithelium and stroma oscillating metal edge. The latest variant of the femtosecond LASIK laser, the femto-LASIK. When there is a strip created by laser and no longer need a mechanical microkeratome. laser surgery Femto-LASIK and LASIK are used to correct myopia, hyperopia and astigmatism. They can be used in the range ofapproximately from +6 to DP-12DP. The advantage of laser methods, high security, good dozovatelnost and especially maintaining accommodation. Title: Influence of a breast operation on the musculoskeletal system The aim: The aim of this work is to describe and analyse changes of an extent of movement of the shoulder joint in a direction of an abduction, outer rotation and movement stereotype of the abduction. The target group are women who underwent a partial intervention. The method: For the research we have chosen an examination through the planimetric method with the use of a mechanical goniometer which provides a quantitative output, because this method offers a gentle way of an evaluation of the shoulder's movment extent (regarding to the oncological diagnosis and the type of the operation). To evaluate the quality of the shoulder's movement we used an examination of the movement stereotype of the abduction of thee shoulder by Janda (1993). The results: The results show, that the limitation of the shoulder movement extent and the outer rotation that the operation caused, is, more considerable by the group of women who underwent the mastectomy, then by the group of women who underwent the partial intervention. There were 30% of patients (6 women from 20) who underwent a mastectomy and who suffered from the negative change of the movement stereotype. I am observing the effects, media's impact, frames and agenda setting. To support the integrity of the topic I added a chapter about the Kosovo crisis which enlightens the initiation of the air attacks. Furthermore, and mainly I am focusing on professional studies dealing with military news. The dominant theme of these articles is the foreign media coverage of the Kosovo War. In the experts 'outputs I predominantly center on their choosing and the method of analysis, on which I then base my analysis on. Intervention in Libya is an anomaly in President Barack Obama's foreign policy during his eight years in the office. This thesis aims to analyze the decision-making process leading to this unprecedented step. Using Graham Allison's Bureaucratic Politics Model, the purpose of this analysis is to investigate the influence of some presidential advisors and allies on his final decision. Data for this study were collected using President Obama's public statements, biographies of several members of the administration, and secondary academic sources. After some general context, the thesis closely examines the selected period from the first protests in Libya on February 15 to the beginning of the Operation United Protector on March 31. This timeframe of forty-five days is further divided into the week-by-week process tracing analyses. The development on the ground in Libya is merged with changes of attitude in the American administration and changing alliances among the members of the advisory team of the President. The Bureaucratic Politics Model is used to analyze specific tactics used by American officials to impose their preferred scenario. 2 2. Abstract Cleft palate is one of the most frequent congenital malformations. The complexity of these conditions requires surgical treatment in several stages. The first stage includes reconstruction of the nose and the lip, and timing is either shortly after birth, or, in about two thirds of centers worldwide this surgery is performed at the age of 3 months. The next stage, palate defect repair, is timed at around 9 months of age, and the final reconstruction of the maxilla is done based on the permanent canine eruption at about 8 years of age. The main objective of our study was to estimate the pros and cons of early surgical approach after introducing a novel modified surgical protocol versus the conventional surgical protocol. The 5 main findings include: 1. A novel surgical procedure to repair neonatal cleft lip was developed, incorporating modification of Tennison protocol by adding flaps acquired from the margins of the cleft. An important contribution is a shorter time both under anesthesia and in the theatre, and resulting reduction of hospital stay from 7-8 days down to 3-4 days. 2. The thesis focuses solely on UN-led operations and on peacekeeping forces - military troops contributed by member states in whole contingents, rather than as individuals. The reason for focusing on peacekeeping forces is their unique hybrid legal status. While they remain in the service of their states, they become for the period of their assignment international personnel under the authority of the UN. This thesis is composed of four chapters. Chapter one describes the meaning and the legal basis of peacekeeping operations and defines which types of operation are subject of the thesis. Second chapter deals with general rules governing international responsibility of states. Introduction: A significant number of pediatric cleft patients suffer from OMS and its consequences as hearing loss, adhesive retraction changes and cholesteatoma. The aim of our retrospective study was to find out whether these effects can be minimized by selecting an operative technique to correct the palate - using pharyngofixation or by surgery timing . Material and methods: Retrospective study involving163 patients - 325 ears (1x external auditory canal atresia), operated at the age of 5 months - 8 years, follow up time 36-84 months. Results: 125 (38%) ears had an epitympanic retraction and 45 (14%) had a superior posterior quadrant retraction, 10 (3%) had cholesteatoma, together 5 epitympanic and 5 sinus cholesteatoma. No significant relationship was found between the use of pharyngofixation and the severity of the otologic finding, respectively of retraction rates in the epitympanum and the posterior superior quadrant (p 0.53). Analogous no significant relationship was found between the surgery timing and the severity of the otologic finding (p 0.48) Conclusion: In our findings, the use of pharyngofixation and timing of palate correction surgery is not related with the severity of subsequent otologic findings.
