V této stati podrobíme kritickému posouzení a případné reinterpretaci údajný demokratizační potenciál globální občanské společnosti. K tomu je nejprve třeba definovat postavení pojmu globální občanské společnosti v rámci studia globalizace. Následně budou vymezeny tři pozice (resp. tradice) v současné diskusi o možnostech realizace demokracie na nadnárodní úrovni. Produktem neziskové organizace jsou změněné lidské osobnosti (Drucker 1993). V mnoha oblastech (sociální, výchova a vzdělávání, politická) proto nemůže nezisková organizace - na rozdíl od organizace ziskové - reagovat přímo na přání svého zákazníka. Cíle organizace a společnosti jsou totiž často v protikladu s tím co, si přeje zákazník (klient) neziskové organizace. Rozdílnosti mezi neziskovou a ziskovou sférou se projevují i při použití marketingového řízení. Formy vlastnictví některých objektů a jejich význam mohou být velmi variabilní, a to jak v různých lidských společnostech, tak i u ostatních primátů, zejména u velkých lidoopů. Sociální organizace lidoopů se liší v mnoha ohledech od většiny lidských společností. Naše studie lidoopů v zajetí by nám mohla pomoci vyřešit, zda mají lidoopi tendenci vlastnit libovolný objekt, nebo ne. Pozorování byla provedena ve dvou zoologických zahradách v České republice - Zoo Dvůr Králové a v Zoo Praha. It also deals with the concept of social economy and related themes. The third chapter explores the current state of the civil sector in the Czech Republic and the definition of its problem areas.
