AbstractABSTRACT The spear lobster, Linuparus somniosus Berry & George, 1972 (Palinuridae), is here reported for the first time from relatively shallow waters off southern Java, Indonesia. This is only the second time that the species is recorded from Southeast Asia. Sexual dimorphism in the pereiopods is reported: those of males being more robust than those of females. Several other taxonomic characters are also discussed. Notes on the local fisheries for this species are provided. Linuparus somniosus Berry & George, 1972 (Palinuridae) est signale pour la premiere fois d'eaux relativement peu profondes au sud de Java (Indonesie); c'est la seconde fois seulement que l'espece est signalee du Sud-est de l'Asie. Le dimorphisme sexuel des pereiopodes est mentionne, ceux du male etant plus robustes que ceux de la femelle. D'autres caracteres taxonomiques sont aussi discutes. Des notes sur les pecheries locales de cette espece sont fournies.

DNA sequence chromatograms (traces) are the primary data source for all large-scale genomic and expressed sequence tags (ESTs) sequencing projects. Access to the sequencing trace assists many later analyses, for example contig assembly and polymorphism detection, but obtaining and using traces is problematic. Traces are not collected and published centrally, they are much larger than the base calls derived from them, and viewing them requires the interactivity of a local graphical client with local data. To provide efficient global access to DNA traces, we developed a client/server system based on flexible Java components integrated into other applications including an applet for use in a WWW browser and a stand-alone trace viewer. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh infrastruktur terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi di Jawa Timur. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah PDRB di Jawa Timur periode 2007-2017. Teknik analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis regresi linier berganda dengan menggunakan SPSS 23. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa variabel Independen Infrastruktur Jalan, Jembatan, Listrik, Pendidikan dan Kesehatan tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi di Jawa Timur, namun ada hubungan positif antara variabel Independen dengan pertumbuhan ekonomi di Jawa Timur dengan tingkat kepercayaan variabel jalan sebesar 0,737. Jembatan sebesar 0,567. Listrik sebesar 0,024. Pendidikan sebesar 1,104. Dan kesehatan sebesar 0,478. Sedangkan secara simultan variabel jalan, jembatan, listrik, pendidikan dan kesehatan tidak berpengaruh secara signifikan dan berhubungan positif terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi dengan nilai signifikan sebesar 3,174. Dengan nilai koefesien determinasi sebesar 0,760. Kata Kunci: Pengaruh Infrastruktur, Pertumbuhan Ekonomi Abstract The study aims to determine the effect of infrastructure on economic growth in Est Java. The sample in this study was GRDP in East Java for the period 2007-2017. The analysis technique used in this study is multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS 23. The results of this study indicate that the Independent variable of Road, Bridge, Electricity, Education and Health Infrastructure has no significant effect on economic growth in East Java, but there is a positive relationship between variables Independent of economic growth in East Java with a variable confidence level of 0.737. The bridge is 0.567. Electricity of 0.024. Education equal to 1,104. And health of 0.478. While simultaneously the variables of road, bridge, electricity, education and health did not significantly influence and positively related to economic growth with a significant value of 3.174. AbstractIn the last few decades the debate about the characteristics of early modern maritime trade in Southeast Asia has received extra impetus through the provision of new empirical substance. Amongst others the use of eighteenth-century shipping lists from the archives of the Dutch East India Company has brought the analysis to a higher level. For Makassar, Batavia, Banten and Cirebon this article connects the statistics on ships' volume and commodities exchanged to scattered information about prices of products in order to establish the total value of trade for these ports. By doing so, more light is shed on the leading commodities and the dominant participants in the commerce. Finally, this study addresses whether the eighteenth century in insular Southeast Asia was either a 'Chinese century' or already a 'European century.' Ces dernières décennies, la disponibilité de nouvelles données empiriques a fortement stimulé le débat sur les traits caractéristiques du commerce maritime prémoderne. C'est entre autres en utilisant des inventaires maritimes de la Compagnie hollandaise des Indes orientales du dix-huitième siècle que l'on a pu porter l'analyse à un niveau plus élevé. Pour les villes de Makassar, Batavia, Banten et Cirebon, les statistiques du volume de navigation et des produits échangés seront dans cet article mis en rapport avec des informations éparses sur les prix des produits a fin de pouvoir déterminer la valeur totale du commerce dans ces ports. Cette approche nous permet de mieux comprendre quels étaient les principaux produits échangés et qui étaient les principaux participants au commerce maritime. Finalement, nous nous poserons la question de savoir si en Asie du Sud-Est insulaire le dix-huitième siècle doit être considéré comme un 'siècle chinois' ou bien déjà comme un 'siècle européen.'

Chez le jeune mâle rusa (Cervus timorensis russa) destiné à être abattu, le rut est considéré par l'éleveur comme une contrainte. Le but de l'expérimentation est d'apprécier l'impact zootechnique de la castration. Dix-sept cerfs rusa de Java castrés et dix-neuf entiers, âgés de 12 mois ont été embouchés à l'herbe et abattus à 24 ou 30 mois. La castration induit une diminution du poids vif à 24 mois et 30 mois. De 12 à 24 mois, la croissance est de 82 + ou - 3 g/j et 91 + ou - 1 g/j. De 24 à 30 mois, elle ralentit pour n'atteindre plus que 45 + ou - 6 g/j et 63 + ou - 12 g/j. La castration et le vieillissement augmentent le rendement carcasse de 1 % mais ne modifie pas le rendement de découpe. La castration induit une diminution de la quantité de viande totale produite par carcasse, cet effet ne touchant pas les morceaux de l'arrière-main . La composition de la viande n'est pas modifiée par la castration ou l'âge d'abattage. A 24 mois, la venaison de cerf rusa est plus tendre et moins foncée qu'à 30 mois. Si les éleveurs de cerfs rusa castrent leurs jeunes mâles vers 1 an, il semble plus intéressant de les abattre à 24 mois.

À partir du constat du caractère longtemps européocentré de l’histoire de la photographie qui a contribué à invisibiliser les pratiques locales du médium au xixe siècle, l’article propose de dépasser l’opposition essentialiste entre photographes européens et autochtones, en étudiant les phénomènes de mécénat et de commande photographique par des souverains asiatiques particulièrement prescripteurs du médium. Le rôle des cours de l’Iran qajar, du royaume de Siam et des États princiers de Java dans l’essor de la photographie est interrogé en regard des aspirations politiques de contrôle et de diffusion de l’image royale. Sont notamment analysées les nombreuses actions de mécénat de Naser al-Din Chah en Iran. Le statut de photographe de cour est examiné à travers les cas du thaïlandais Francis Chit et du javanais Kassian Cephas. La circulation de matériel, d’albums, d’images et des élites autochtones en différents points d’Asie, ou vers l’Europe, permet enfin de considérer l’implication de la photographie dans les réseaux d’échanges transnationaux.

Tuberculosis is an infection disease caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis. According to WHO in 2014 among 9,6 billion people in the word infected TB. In Indonesia there are 647 cases at 100.000 population. Est Jawa had the both contributor of TB cases after West Java. Surabaya is the district with the highest level TB case in East Java. National indicator of successful treatment is Success Rate. SR throughout Surabaya district in 2015 is 79.21%, (national standard ≥85%). Tanah Kalikedinding primary health care had SR decreased 82.1%, 81.2% and 68.33%. Failure TB Treatment caused low these SR. One of the caused of this, is high level of diabetes mellitus incident. The purpose of this research to find the influence of diabetes mellitus to successful of TB Treatment. The study design is cross sectional, the sample used were 55 pulmonary tuberculosis patients at Tanah Kalikedinding Primary Health Care. Statistic test used logistic regression with α= 0.05.The result of logistic regression p = 0.012 means that there is influence between diabetes mellitus with the successful treatment of Pulmonary Tuberculosis. OR value = 2.056 means that patient pulmonary tuberculosis without diabetes mellitus has the possibility recover 2.056 times greater than the patient pulmonary tuberculosis with diabetes mellitus. Diabetes mellitus screening in the Tuberculosis early treatment, appropriate treatment and monitoring is a step that can be done by Tanah Kalikedinding PHC Surabaya to minimize the incidence of failure treatment of Tuberculosis with diabetes mellitus. L’application solaire flottante (FPV) est très appropriée pour les zones où la disponibilité des terres est limitée, utilisant des réservoirs de barrage ou des lacs. Il présente également plusieurs avantages en termes d’aspects environnementaux, tels que la conservation de l’eau en raison d’une diminution du taux d’évaporation et l’inhibition de la croissance des algues en réduisant l’intensité de la lumière solaire. Cependant, les directives locales spécifiées pour les usines FPV en Indonésie ne sont toujours pas disponibles pour le moment. Ces dernières années, plusieurs études ont été menées sur le potentiel de l’installation de PV solaire flottant (FPV) dans le réservoir du barrage en Indonésie en tenant compte de trois aspects, à savoir (1) technique, (2) environnemental, (3) aspects juridiques et commerciaux. Ce document présente principalement deux aspects ; technique et juridique. L’aspect technique s’est concentré sur les critères de conception proposés en tenant compte de toutes les normes locales (nationales) et internationales pertinentes. L’aspect juridique a introduit quelques problèmes concernant la fourniture d’électricité et la disposition relative à l’accord sur le niveau de service. Cet article a également discuté des barrages Charlie comme cas d’étude pour la mise en oeuvre des critères proposés dans cet article. Le barrage Charlie est un barrage existant situé dans la province centrale de Java, en Indonésie.

Proposer une synthèse sur la préhistoire d’un archipel et de ses assemblages lithiques n’est pas chose facile, d’une part à cause de l’immensité de l’espace concerné mesurant 2 millions de km2, d’autre part du fait que la notion de Paléolithique y est difficilement applicable et notamment celles de « Paléolithique supérieur » ou d’Epipaléolithique-Mésolithique établies en Eurasie occidentale. L’Indonésie et ses myriades d’îles et îlots (environ 18000) s’inscrivent dans un rectangle 5000 km sur 2000 km de part et d’autre de l’équateur ce qui en fait le plus grand archipel du monde. Cette aire géographique immense s’étirant sur un espace maritime d’environ 6 millions de km2, ne nous permet pas aujourd’hui de traiter exhaustivement l’ensemble des groupes industriels, des faciès ou des cultures préhistoriques, c’est pour cela que nous aborderons les principaux. L’Indonésie occupe une place privilégiée pour l’histoire des hommes fossiles qui la rend incontournable dans les connaissances de la variabilité des comportements des hominidés en contexte intertropical. Cette contribution a pour objectif de dresser un bilan critique et objectif des différentes méthodes de taille rencontrées depuis 1 million d’années sur les principales îles à partir d’une sélection de sites dont la stratigraphie est bien établie et bien datée.
Rares sont les technocomplexes bien définis avant l’Holocène, période où l’insularité de cette aire géographique s’est fixée avec la remontée marine marquant progressivement le début de l’histoire des archipels insulindiens. Parmi ceux-ci nous citerons le « Toalien » à Sulawesi (faciès à pointes), le « Sampungien » (faciès à pointes) et les industries sur éclats de Song Keplek ou « Keplekien » (débitage orthogonal) dans l’Est de l’île de Java. Hormis ces trois traditions techniques qui restent individualisables sur un plan typo-technologique, il n’y a pas dans l’ensemble du matériel rencontré, de faciès différentiables associés à une dénomination d’outils spécifiques. En règle générale, les industries lithiques du Pléistocène supérieur et de l’Holocène indonésien répondent à une production basique d’éclats et d’outils sur éclats avec de multiples variantes régionales. Le mode de débitage est très largement à la pierre dure, non Levallois, rarement Discoïde, non lamino-lamellaire tel qu’on peut le rencontrer en Europe de l’Ouest ou au Proche et Moyen-Orient. Contrairement à l’Asie du Sud-Est continentale où il est encore plus difficile de discerner un Paléolithique ancien, moyen et récent du fait de la continuité d’industries toutes réalisées sur galet (Hoabinhien et autres), l’Indonésie qui devient insulaire à la marge du Pléistocène et de l’Holocène propose une hétérogénéité des assemblages lithiques sans précédent. C’est-à-dire une diversité dans les modalités de production lithique selon différentes chaînes opératoires de façonnage (galet, pointe de type de Sampung, biface...) ou de débitage (discoïde, orthogonal et laminaire).
Le but de cet article est donc de présenter de façon synthétique les principaux ensembles lithiques de l’Archipel indonésien à partir d’une sélection d’îles sur lesquelles des assemblages lithiques ont pu être correctement documentés. Nous nous intéresserons ainsi aux îles de Sumatra, de Java, de Kalimantan (Bornéo), de Sulawesi, et à quelques autres plus orientales qui, comme Timor et Flores, ont, ces dernières années, livré des découvertes de premier plan en paléoanthropologie et en préhistoire. Par commodité, nous avons été obligés de procéder à des coupures régionales et chronologiques (Pléistocène ancien-moyen et Pléistocène supérieur final-Holocène ancien) qui permettent d’exposer au mieux cette synthèse sur des assemblages lithiques qui n’ont pas tous fait l’objet d’études technologiques approfondies au sens où nous pouvons l’entendre en Europe avec l’utilisation du concept de chaîne opératoire.

Panglima Besar Soedirman waters reservoir and the Serayu River in Banjarnegara Regency, Central Java is one of the habitats of hampala fish . Hampala fish is a member of the Cyprinidae family, which has economic value but is fully captured from the wild. The study on the genetic diversity using approaches of isozyme analysis needed to support conservation and domestication of the fish in this area. This study was aimed at the genetic variation of the hampala fish population in PB. Soedirman water reservoir and the Serayu River in Banjarnegara Regency based on esterase (EST), acid phosphatase (ACP), peroxidase (PER), and aspartate aminotransferase (AAT). Visualization of the isozyme was carried out employing horizontal electrophoretic technique with potato starch. From the results of this study it can be concluded that the hampala fish from the reservoir of PB. Soedirman, Serayu River area before reservoir and after reservoir, all of which are in Banjarnegara Regency, can visualized isozymes EST, ACP, and AAT well, except PER isozyme. This finding can be used as based information on population genetics and finally can be used for conservation of this fish. The results of this study are expected to be utilized to evaluate the potential genetic condition of hampala fish, which is the basis for conservation strategy and domestication.

Nous emprunterons à la phénoménologie de la perception merleau-pontienne, à la pensée rhizomique deleuzo-guattarienne, ainsi qu’à la philosophie javanaise du corps qui permettent de comprendre cette efficacité thérapeutique comme ligne de fuite ou de déterritorialisation. Ce faisant, nous rappelons que l’efficacité thérapeutique réduite à des corrélations causales infra-phénoménales, tel que dans l’actuel standard scientifique de l’essai clinique randomisé (ECR), ne couvre pas de façon exhaustive l’expérience humaine du processus thérapeutique.

Polypedates pseudotilophus Matsui, Hamidy et Kuraishi, 2014 was priorly reported from Sumatra, West Java, and Central Java. Only a few specimens and genetic data were available and reports on its distributional range in Java are lacking. We reported a new distributional record of P. pseudotilophus from the lowland forest in Malang Regency, East Java Province, Indonesia, and provide morphological and genetic data. The East Java specimens were morphologically similar to Sumatra specimens also supported by genetic distance ranging between 2.2 – 2.4%. Although considered as conspecific, East Javan population formed a separate clade to Sumatran population.

Creativity thinking skills is one of the competencies that must be possessed in the 21st century. Teachers must provide facilities for students to develop creative thinking skills through the selection of appropriate learning methods. This study aims to find out the interaction between student’s creativity thinking skills, Project Based Learning, and Learning Cycle 7E methods in Physics lesson chapter parabolic motion on XI grade students. The methods of this study are quasi experiment with two ways ANAVA design. This research was conducted at Al Islam 1 Senior High School Surakarta est Java Indonesia in August 2022. Sample of this study selected using the cluster random sampling technique. The research used was class XI 1 as Group 1 with Project Based Learning methods and XI 2 as Group 2 with Learning Cycle 7E methods. Based on the analysis data by using SPSS program at the significant level of 5% it can be concluded that there is interaction between student’s creativity thinking skills, Project Based Learning, and Learning Cycle 7E methods in Physics lesson chapter parabolic motion on XI grade students. It is also concluded that Project Based Learning give better impact to enhance student’s creativity thinking skills

La schizophrénie dans les sociétés traditionnelles africaines est depuis longtemps sujet d’interrogations multiples et de fantasmes divers. Mais tandis que les représentations traditionnelles de la maladie mentale en Afrique sub-saharienne sont bien connues des anthropologues et des ethnopsychiatres, il semble important de les réinterroger au filtre de la société africaine contemporaine. De même, ne serait-il pas temps de rediscuter certaines représentations occidentales idéalisées, selon lesquelles la schizophrénie serait rarissime en Afrique et les malades y seraient mieux pris en charge par la communauté ? Dans une deuxième partie, nous étudierons la littérature internationale concernant l’épidémiologie de la schizophrénie dans le monde, plus particulièrement en Afrique. Des premières enquêtes d’Emil Kraepelin à Java à la fin du 19e siècle, aux comités internationaux mandatés par l’Organisation mondiale de la santé pour la rédaction du DSM IV-R, et plus récemment du DSM 5, en passant par les données publiées par des psychiatres africains, nous ferons le point sur les données épidémiologiques concernant la schizophrénie en Afrique de l’Ouest. Nous verrons quelles sont les disparités géographiques et socioéconomiques [1]. Ces données seront toutefois à nuancer : sont-elles réellement interprétables au regard du contexte culturel et social des pays concernés ? La proportion de personnes effectivement prises en charge reste minime et le recensement des individus atteints de troubles psychiques ne peut dès lors être qu’approximatif. Malgré l’insuffisance de statistiques officielles, les soignants travaillant en Afrique sub-saharienne confirment au fil des personnes rencontrées l’existence incontestable de troubles psychiques sévères, comme la schizophrénie. Ils y observent une même triade symptomatologique, ne différant que par l’expression clinique du délire, influencé par le vécu, social et culturel, des personnes. Ils témoignent du quotidien des malades africains, fait d’enchaînements et de maltraitance. L’accès aux soins est un parcours du combattant pour les familles. Cela s’illustre dans les faits par des durées extrêmement élevées de psychose non traitée.

Dalam pratiknya menggunakan akad mudharabah. oleh sebab itu nasabah sebagai pemilik dana yang telah menyimpan dananya, mendapatkan bagi hasil atau keuntungan yang telah disepakati bersama di awal pembukaan tabungan berjangka syariah (Si Jaka). Oleh karena itu penelitian tertarik untuk mengangkat judul Mekanisme bagi hasil simpanan berjangka syariah (Si Jaka) di BMT Nurul Ummah Ngasem Jawa Timur. Pertanyaan utama yang akan dijawab dari penelitian ini adalah: 1) pengelolaan simpanan berjangka syariah (Si Jaka) yang ada di BMT Nurul Ummah Ngasem Jawa Timur. (2) mekanisme bagi hasil simpanan berjangka syariah (Si Jaka) di BMT Nurul Ummah Ngasem Jawa Timur. Untuk menjawab permasalahan tersebut, maka penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif yang menghasilakan data-data yang diperoleh dari objek penelitian yakni dengan metode observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi yang kemudian dilakukan analisis dengan cara mendeskripsikan data dari informal, mereduksi data sesuai kebutuhan penelitian, kemudian di analisis oleh penulis, dan disimpulkan untuk menjawab penelitian. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa pengelolaan dan mekanisme bagi hasil simpanan berjangka syariah (Si Jaka) yang ada di BMT Nurul Ummah Ngasem Jawa Timur dalam penerapan nisbahnya harus benar-benar sesuai dengan prinsip syariah. Kata Kunci: Mekanisme, Pengelolaan dan Simpanan Berjangka Syariah Abstract:This research was grounded by the management of sharia futures deposits which are rapidly increasing from year to year. Besides, BMT Nurul Ummah Ngasem East Java also conducts fundraising activities from the public, one of which is sharia term savings products (Si Jaka). In practice, it uses the mudharabah agreement. Therefore, the customer as the owner of the funds that has deposited the funds, get a profit sharing or profit that has been mutually agreed upon at the beginning of opening of sharia term savings (Si Jaka). Therefore, the research was interested in raising the title of the mechanism for the sharia term savings products (Si Jaka) at BMT Nurul Ummah Ngasem, East Java. The main questions that will be answered from this research were: 1. management of sharia term savings products (Si Jaka) at BMT Nurul Ummah Ngasem East Java, 2. mechanism for the sharia term savings products (Si Jaka) at BMT Nurul Ummah Ngasem East Java. To answer these problems, this research uses a qualitative descriptive approach that produces data obtained from the research object namely observation, interviews, and documentation which are then analyzed by describing data from informal, reducing data according to research needs, then di analysis by the author, and concluded to answer the research. The results of the study concluded that the management and profit sharing mechanism of sharia term savings products (Si Jaka) at BMT Nurul Ummah Ngasem East Java in applying the ratio must be really in accordance with sharia principles.

New locality records and a range extension of the Javan endemic Pearly Tree Frog, Nyctixalus margaritifer Boulenger, 1882 are reported from Central Java and East Java. Our new data include the easternmost record in Java, a record from the eastern edge of Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park, which is approximately 142 km west of the species’ type locality in Gunung Willis in East Java. This tree-frog species inhabits undisturbed rainforest with a dense canopy and vegetation at elevations up to 1,200 m a.s.l. Based on a morphometric analysis of newly collected specimens, we found observable differences in several morphological characters. However, more specimens are needed to confirm the taxonomic status of the rare, endemic, and poorly known N. margaritifer.

The distribution of the birds in Java Island is randomly fragmented and isolated in several types of habitat and each has a small number of individuals in every group. Baluran and Alas Purwo National Parks, East Java, Indonesia as part of Javan green peafowl (Pavo muticus muticus, Linnaeus 1758) distributions have been selected for the study on the grouping system and the analysis of local distribution. The research was aimed at obtaining data and information on the grouping system and local distribution of Javan green peafowl population in Baluran and Alas Purwo National Park. The number of individuals and groups was counted by applying a transect method and a concentration method on every type of habitat where peafowls are present. The distribution pattern data were analyzed by using a formula (Ludwig and Reynolds 1988). The results indicate that Javan green peafowl population is living in small groups (2-4 birds). There are 5 types of Javan green peafowl groups in Baluran National Park (BNP) and Alas Purwo National Park (APNP). The dominant group is adult female group consisting 3 individual members. The leader of the group is a female bird. Adult males live in solitary. The group system among Javan green peafowl populations is a strategy of the birds. Local distribution of Javan green peafowl populations in Baluran and Alas Purwo National Parks is mostly in the form of clumped dispersion.

Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemanfaaian kapasitas jauh melebihr dari nilar optimumnya aiau telah terjadi kelebihan kapasitas pemanfaatannya berlangsung terulama pada musim barat. Pemanfaatan kapasitas penangkapan berada pada tingkat yang optimum hanya terjadi pada musinr peralihan I (musim barat ke musim timur). The management of fishing capacity along with measurement methods becomes an inlporlant issue in the small pelagic fisheies management in Java Sea, through altemative approach to contrcl inefficient input factors used in fishing activities. The objectives of tltis study are Io measure lhe level of technical efficiency and utilization capacity of purse seine in Pekalongan. The technical efficiency and utilization capacity were analyzed based on seasons. The fishing efficiency tneasurement was pertormed by using data envelopment analysis. The results show that purse seine ln Pekalongan on r/i/est season mean that fishing capacity utilization factor of the Pekalongan purse serne during the north wesf monsocn peiod exceed the optimum value or excess fishing capacity has been occureed during thai season. Tujuan riset ini adalah untuk mengkaji kondisi oseanografi musiman (sebaran suhu permukaan laut, konsentrasi klorofil-a, pola arus, dan salinitas) perairan Selat Sunda secara musiman. Kajian ini menggunakan data hasil pengukuran in situ dan data penginderaan jauh multitemporal tahun 2000, 2001, 2002, dan 2004. Analisis dilakukan secara visual dan digital untuk mendapatkan gambaran dinamik mengenai kondisi oseanografi musiman perairan Selat Sunda. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa nilai sebaran suhu permukaan laut Selat Sunda sepanjang tahun bervariasi, di mana nilai berkisar antara 27,0 sampai dengan 30,5°C, lebih tinggi dibanding dengan nilai sebaran hasil pengukuran in situ. Salinitas berkisar antara 31,0 sampai dengan 33,7‰ dengan nilai terendah (31,0‰) pada musim barat, sementara salinitas tertinggi (32,7 sampai dengan 33,7‰) ditemukan pada musim peralihan 2. Sebaran klorofil-a berkisar antara 0,1 sampai dengan 2,0 mg m-3. Musim barat merupakan musim dengan kandungan klorofil-a terendah 0,1 mg m-3 dan musim timur merupakan musim dengan tingkat kesuburan perairan tertinggi (1,5 sampai dengan 2,0 mg m-3). Diduga peningkatan produktivitas primer yang sangat tinggi pada musim timur selain akibat aliran massa air yang kaya nutrien dari Laut Jawa, juga akibat dari proses upwelling pada mulut selat bagian selatan. The aim of this research is to study the dynamic of the seasonal oceanography condition (sea surface temperature, chlorophyll-a concentration, sea surface height anomaly, and salinity), of the Sunda Straits waters using in situ data and satellite multitemporal images until 2000, 2001, 2002, and 2004. The oceanographic data were analyzed using visual and digital analyze to find the dynamic features. Results show that sea surface temperature was fluctuated with seasons. The values ranging from 27.0 to 30.5°C were higher than in situ measurement. The Surface salinity varied with the value of 31.0 to 33.7‰. The Lowest salinity (31.0‰) was found of the west monsoon, the highest salinity (33.7‰) at the inter monsoon 2. The Concentration of chlorophyll-a (0.1 to 2.0 mg m-3) with the highest abundance at east monsoon. The high est concentration of chlorophyll a in east monsoon may be occurred by impact of nutrient transport from Java Sea and also by contribution of upwelling process in southern mouth of Sunda Strait.

SummaryThe Javan Hawk-eagle Spizaetus bartelsi is endemic to the island of Java. Severe habitat fragmentation and small population size, aggravated by illegal hunting have put this rainforest species on the list of threatened bird species. Intensive searching since 1986 resulted in the discovery of a large number of localities additional to the historic ones. All known locality records of Javan Hawk-eagle have been scrutinized and are listed in the present paper. Confirmed post-1980 records are from 24 forest fragments of varying sizes: 10 (including 28 discrete localities) in west, seven (including 14 discrete localities) in central and seven (including 20 discrete localities) in east Java. The configuration of available habitat in forest clusters is evaluated. The co-existence with other threatened bird taxa, and the need for further field surveys and studies of the Javan Hawk-eagle are discussed.

Abstract Javan Hawk-Eagle (JHE, Nisaetus bartelsi) is an endemic species in Java Island and an important biological indicator of ecosystem health. The government has issued regulations to protect this species and increase the population by 10% from 2015 until 2019. East Java has the largest JHE potential habitat in Java Island based on a previous study using satellite images of 2002. Therefore, the current habitat distribution of JHE’s is essential for getting knowledge about patch dynamics in JHE’s habitat. This study’s objective was to analyze patch dynamics of JHE’s habitat from 2002 until 2015 and validate habitat distribution. Previously predicted probability map (2002) of JHE’s were updated using Landsat 8 satellite images of 2015 and was validated through ground-truth checked. Results showed that the distribution of JHE’s habitat after validation is 28 patches, which is covered 4766.26 km2. The dynamics that occur in the JHE’s patch are patch lost(1 patch), patch area decreased (5 patches), patch area increased (13 patches), new patch (4 patches), and merged patch. After validation, there are six newly identified patches, and one patch area increased. The total area increased by 2156.14 km2 or 82.61% of the total area occupied by JHE’s in 2002. About 39.89% of total habitat patches were located inside the protected area. This study recommends continuing monitoring activities on habitat patches, including potential habitat patches in lowland areas, and proposing conservation activities based on habitat patch dynamics that occurred from 2002 to 2015.

On April and September 2006, preliminary study to know the distribution, population status and habitat of the Javan moustached parakeets (Psittacula alexandri alexandri Linnaeus 1758) were conducted in the Baluran and Alas Purwo National Parks (East Java) and in the Tilu Geder Mountain Forests and in the Darmaga IPB Campus Parks (West Java). Direct and indirect observations were used in this research. The results are found only 2 individuals of birds in the Darmaga IPB Campus Parks. However, 45 species of plants were recorded as the natural food resources for the Javan moustached parakeets in the fields. Almost 60 percent parts of plants i.e., fruits were food by birds, even if those birds are more frugivorous. Some species of plants were known as the nesting trees for the species, namely: Tectona grandis, Acacia lecophloea, Azadirachta indica, Tetrameles nudiflora and Eucalyptus deglupta. The Javan moustached parakeets have needed mangrove forests, beach forests, evergreen forests and old teak forests for their activities. The population and their habitat of javan parakeets are threatened by forest fragmentation effects and over hunting.

AbstractA total of 935 Lepidoptera, primarily moths of the family Noctuidae, were collected during two surveys (1985-86 and 1996) in Guadeloupe and examined for the presence of ectoparasitic nematodes, Noctuidonema Remillet & Silvain, or Vampyronema Hunt (Aphelenchoidoidea: Noctuidonematinae). Nematodes were found on 24 of 84 species of Noctuidae, two of four species of Sphingidae and one of ten species of Geometridae. New host records are reported for 19 species of Lepidoptera in Guadeloupe and one in the United States. Noctuidonema occurred more frequently on the Noctuidae than on other families of Lepidoptera. More infested moths, particularly males, were collected from xerophilic habitats than from mesophilic-hygrophilic habitats, and more were collected during the dry season than during the rainy season. A total of 94 Blattodea (Periplaneta americana L.) were collected in 1996-97 from French Guiana, Guadeloupe, Mexico, and Saint Lucia, and were examined for the presence of Acugutturus parasiticus Hunt, an ectoparasite of that species. A. parasiticus, previously known only from P.americana from Saint Lucia, was found again on that island, as well as in Guadeloupe, but not on P. americana collected from French Guiana or Mexico. The host list of Insecta (Lepidoptera and Blattodea) parasitised by ectoparasitic nematodes of the family Acugutturidae is emended and updated. At present, 69 species of Lepidoptera in 43 genera, 12 sub-families, and six families are known as hosts of Noctuidonema or Vampyronema. With the single exception of Spodoptera litura (F.) in East Java, all Lepidoptera species reported as hosts of ectoparasitic nematodes occur in the Americas or the Fiji islands. No systematic search has been conducted for ectoparasitic nematodes on Lepidoptera in tropical Africa or Asia. The importance of these nematodes in the ecology of Lepidoptera and Blattodea is largely unknown. Noctuidonema diabolia is transferred to the genus Vampyronema as Vampyronema diabolia n. comb. Nématodes (Aphelenchoidoidea: Acugutturidae) ectoparasites de Lepidoptera et de Blattodea en Guadeloupe - Un total de 935 Lépidoptères, principalement des papillons de la famille des Noctuidae, ont été capturés au cours de deux études (1985-86 et 1996) en Guadeloupe et examinés pour détecter la présence du nématodes ectoparasites, Noctuidonema Remillet & Silvain ou Vampyronema Hunt (Aphelenchoidoidea: Noctuidonematinae). Des nématodes ont été trouvés sur 24 des 84 espèces de Noctuidae, deux des quatre espèces de Sphingidae, et une des dix espèces de Geometridae. Javan slow loris (Nycticebus javanicus) one of the species of the genus Nycticebus is endemic in Java. Their distribution region is in West Java and Banten, and also reported to be found in Central Java and East Java, although very rarely. Status of the species is Critically Endangered due to high levels of poaching, habitat loss and habitat fragmentation, so that the necessary conservation in order to increase the population. For conservation management it is necessary to know the status of genetic resources that play of role in breeding, then this research is to explore the genetic population of the Javan slow loris from some locations in West Java. The research objective was to assess the diversity of their current population of Java loris through the control region (D-loop) of mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA). A total of 23 individuals samples from Gunung Halimun Park, Tasikmalaya, Garut, Ciamis, Jember and confiscated at the Rehabilitation Center IAR Bogor were used in this stydy. Specific primers of D-loop are used for loris with a length of 296 bp sequence. The result showed there are only five different sites and formed six haplotypes, each haplotypes only 1-3 nucleotides different. Low genetic diversity is shown as much as 42.96% of individuals show the same sequence or genetic distance (d) = 0 that indicate was monomorf population from different population. The genetic distance of the entire population was 0.003 ± 0:01 (0.3%).

The results show that (1) Career development has a significant positive effect on Job Satisfaction, (2) Organizational Culture has a significant positive effect on Job Satisfaction, (3) Career development has no significant effect on Organizational Commitment, (4) Organizational Culture has no significant positive effect on Organizational Commitment, (5) Job Satisfaction has a significant positive effect on Organizational Commitment, (6) Career development has an indirect effect on Organizational Commitment, (7) Organizational Culture has no direct effect on organizational commitment and job satisfaction is able to mediate Organizational Culture with organizational commitment .

Avec une population estimée à dix milliards d’habitants dans quelques décennies, l’avenir du monde intertropical sera obligatoirement entre les mains des êtres humains. Ceux-ci protégeront une petite partie des forêts dites naturelles afin d’essayer d’y conserver la biodiversité qu’elles abritent ; ils géreront de façon plus productive une autre partie, ce qui passera très probablement par une simplification de leur diversité, dans la mesure où l’on favorisera les espèces les plus productives, les plus faciles à régénérer et dont les produits seront faciles à industrialiser et à vendre.Et entre la forêt protégée et la forêt aménagée, que restera-t-il ? Des plantations monospécifiques de bananiers, de riz, de cacaoyers, de coton ? Mais alors, comment les espaces forestiers pourront-ils évoluer en échangeant du matériel génétique, s’adapter aux changements climatiques, résister aux maladies nouvelles, etc. ?Les écologues estiment que la forêt ne pourra survivre que s’il existe des liens de continuité entre les massifs forestiers. La connectivité écologique ne pourra que très rarement être assurée par des corridors forestiers continus. L’existence d’îlots forestiers discontinus mais proches et à distance régulière permet le passage en « pas japonais » de nombreuses espèces végétales et animales, mais pas de toutes. Les micro-organismes et la macrofaune des sols forestiers ne peuvent se déplacer qu’à la condition d’une certaine continuité dans la trame arborée. Celle-ci n’est possible que par la présence d’arbres dans les zones cultivées, voire urbanisées. L’agroforesterie est la voie la plus prometteuse pour assurer cette continuité écologique.L’agroforesterie consiste à associer des arbres avec l’agriculture et/ou l’élevage, au niveau des parcelles, des exploitations ou des paysages. Les systèmes traditionnels, à faibles niveaux d’intrants, étaient et sont encore agroforestiers ; mais l’agriculture industrielle à hauts niveaux d’intrants (cf. mécanisation du travail, apport d’engrais, d’herbicides, de semences très améliorées, voire génétiquement modifiées) a, en général, exclu l’arbre des parcelles.Aujourd’hui, de nombreux agronomes, pastoralistes et forestiers travaillent ensemble pour appuyer techniquement et politiquement le retour des arbres dans l’espace agricole et pastoral.La diffusion à grande échelle de méthodes standardisées, mises au point en station de recherche, a rarement marché en milieu tropical. Par exemple, la culture en couloirs, mise au point par l’Icraf1 dans ses stations du Kenya au cours des années 1980, n’a pas été adoptée par les agriculteurs. Elle nécessitait trop de travail pour rabattre régulièrement les rejets d’arbres et limiter le développement de leurs racines, sans résoudre le problème de l’acidification des sols.Croire que l’agroforesterie permettra de stopper les défrichements forestiers par les agriculteurs essarteurs (sur abattis-brûlis) est également une erreur d’analyse. Il est certes vrai que l’agroforesterie permet aux agriculteurs qui la pratiquent de récolter chez eux de nombreux produits qu’ils récoltaient autrefois en forêt ; elle facilite également la culture continue sur le même sol, sans avoir à défricher de nouvelles forêts. Cependant, tant que les gouvernements laisseront les agriculteurs s’approprier des terres en défrichant la forêt publique, puis en la brûlant et en la mettant en culture, ceux-ci continueront à utiliser cette pratique qui permet d’étendre son capital foncier et de cultiver, avec peu de travail et une bonne production, pendant au moins une trentaine d’années.Les systèmes agroforestiers, qui permettent de répondre à presque tous les besoins d’une famille sur une surface limitée, nécessitent une bonne technicité pour limiter les concurrences entre espèces végétales et animales, récolter les différents produits – il est par exemple difficile d’abattre un arbre, pour en récolter son bois, sans écraser les cultures associées – et demandent un travail soutenu. C’est pourquoi les systèmes agroforestiers les plus performants se rencontrent dans les pays où la densité de la population rurale est la plus forte et où les forêts ont disparu (lakous d’Haïti, jardins agroforestiers de Java, bocage Bamilèkè et parcs arborés sur terrasses Kapsiki au Cameroun). Les résultats les plus probants, en matière de diffusion des systèmes agroforestiers au cours des trois dernières décennies, résultent du respect de modalités présentées ci-après :- L’accès aux forêts est limité, soit de fait lorsqu’il n’en existe plus, soit par décision du gouvernement qui met des forêts « sous cloche », en créant des forêts protégées définitivement (parcs et réserves) ou temporairement (capital foncier pour l’avenir), ce gouvernement ayant les moyens de faire appliquer cette politique, ce qui est très rarement le cas (ex. : Costa Rica, certains États de l’Inde).- On apporte une subvention durable aux agriculteurs qui conservent de jeunes arbres pour restaurer ou étendre leurs systèmes agroforestiers. C’est le cas de l’extension des parcs à Faidherbia albida au Nord-Cameroun, la subvention étant financée par un prélèvement sur la vente du coton. Également, les agroforestiers sont subventionnés pour les services écosystémiques qu’ils rendent à une communauté solvable ; tel est le cas des têtes de bassins versants approvisionnant une ville en eau en Inde ou au Costa Rica. En dehors des zones tropicales, ailleurs dans le monde, la plantation de haies bocagères est financée, notamment par la PAC2 en Europe.- On valorise les produits issus des systèmes agroforestiers en leur donnant des labels, qui permettent de les vendre plus cher à des consommateurs engagés (cas du café bio et équitable et du bois d’œuvre au Nicaragua).- On sécurise le foncier, ce qui garantit à l’agriculteur que les arbres qu’il plante pourront être récoltés par lui ou ses héritiers (exemple de la loi Gestion locale sécurisée, à Madagascar).- On encourage chaque agroforestier à adapter le système à ses possibilités (conditions écologiques, sociales, économiques) et à son accès aux marchés. Par exemple, dans l’Ouest-Cameroun, les agriculteurs éliminent de leurs haies des arbres devenus sans valeur (exemple : ficus producteurs de fibres végétales) pour les remplacer par des fruitiers ou des arbres producteurs de bois de sculpture et de menuiserie, de plus en plus recherchés en ville.Sans être une panacée qui permettra de bloquer le défrichement des forêts, l’agroforesterie est une nécessité absolue pour assurer aux populations du monde tropical une partie des biens et des services qui étaient autrefois rendus par les forêts. Par ailleurs, elle permettra aux forêts conservées d’être moins sollicitées par les populations, et elle contribuera à assurer leur survie à long terme, en facilitant le flux et l’évolution des ressources génétiques forestières.

The population increase show by juvenile individual and finding the species in new locations.

The population of the Javan langur (Trachypithecus auratus) is currently decreasing, so the threat to the preservation of the Javan langur requires conservation efforts that are beneficial for conservation in nature.One of the conservation efforts is carried out ex-situ, such as the one at the research station at the Javan Langur Center. This study aims to determine the Rehabilitation management of Javan langurs at the Javan Langur Center. The method used in this research is the interview, field observation, and literaturestudy. The use of strategic factor analysis (SWOT) is carried out in the management of Javan Langur rehabilitation which includes analysis of internal factors and external factors. The first rehabilitation management, namely the development strategy at the research site, is carried out through a rehabilitation program strategy. The second utilizes and maintains good support from the government. Third, utilize experienced human resources. Fourth, increase the number of health workers who are still lacking. Fifth,improve the quality and quantity of facilities and infrastructure. Sixth, add experienced human resources. Seventh, improving the quality and quantity of facilities at the Javan Langur Center.

Scholarly discussion of Javanese society has consistently linked variation in Islamic orthodoxy to differences of socioeconomic class, political behavior, and social conflict. In the most widely known sociological formula, Clifford Geertz distinguished three varieties of Javanese Islam and correlated each with a particular social class. Abangan, or Javanist Muslim, tradition was described as a syncretic blend of animist, Hindu-Buddhist, and Islamic elements that was predominant among the mass of rural Javanese. Santri tradition was identified as a more orthodox variant of Islam, especially widespread among merchants and wealthier peasants. This study aims to simulate the contribution of internet penetration to the intensity of the implementation of the Annual Membership Meeting (RAT) and the achievement of business volume by cooperatives. The research methodology is literature study and field study. Researchers conducted a study of the contribution of internet penetration, the implementation of RAT, and the achievement of business volume, especially in the regions of East Java Province, Central Java Province, and West Java Province from 2017 to 2019. West Java Province has not optimally utilized the contribution of internet penetration to carry out RAT and has not optimally used the internet as a business process strategy to generate business volume in the receipt of cooperative goods and services compared to the Provinces of East Java and Central Java. This research is limited to the areas of West Java, Central Java, and East Java Provinces. The contribution of this research to the implementation of the adoption of information and communication technology for the board and management team of cooperatives in Indonesia is preparing to welcome the digitization of cooperatives in Indonesia to strengthen internal cooperatives in making business decisions for sustainable cooperative development. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mensimulasikan kontribusi penetrasi internet terhadap intensitas pelaksanaan Rapat Anggota Tahunan (RAT) dan pencapaian volume usaha oleh koperasi. Metodologi penelitian ini adalah studi litertur dan studi lapangan. Peneliti melakukan kajian kontribusi penetrasi internet, pelaksanaan RAT dan pencapaian volume usaha khususnya di wilayah Provinsi Jawa Timur, Provinsi Jawa Tengah dan Provinsi Jawa Barat tahun 2017 sampai dengan tahun 2019. Provinsi Jawa Barat belum secara optimal memanfaatkan kontribusi penetrasi internet untuk melaksanakan RAT dan belum optimal menggunakan internet sebagai strategi bisnis proses untuk menghasilkan volume usaha dalam penerimaan barang dan jasa koperasi dibandingkan dengan Provinsi Jawa Timur dan Jawa Tengah. Penelitian ini terbatas pada wilayah Provinsi Jawa Barat, Jawa Tengah dan Provinsi Jawa Timur. Kontribusi penelitian ini bagi implementasi adopsian teknologi informasi dan komunikasi bagi dewan pengurus maupun tim manajemen koperasi di Indonesia dalam mempersiapkan diri menyambut digitalisasi koperasi di Indonesia sehingga memperkuat internal koperasi dalam pengambilan keputusan bisnis untuk pengembangan koperasi yang berkelanjutan.

This study aims to determine the competitiveness of sugarcane farming in Central Java and East Java based on comparative advantage (DRCR) and competitive advantage (PCR). The method used was the Policy Analysis Matrix (PAM). The result in Central Java explained that the sugarcane farming do not have comparative advantage but have competitive advantage. It is indicated by the value of Domestic Resource Cost Ratio DRCR>1 which is 1.23 and the value of Private Cost Ratio PCR<1 which is 0.71. Meanwhile The result in East Java explained that the sugarcane farming do not have comparative advantage but have competitive advantage. It is indicated by the value of DRCR>1 which is 1.05 and the value of PCR<1 which is 0.56. Partial test was conducted to find out how many respondents in each region in Central Java and East Java that have competitiveness sugarcane farming. Based on the partial test of each respondent in Central Java, about 51.67%, 45.00% and 3.33% of respondents are categorized as very competitive, medium competitiveness and very low competitive respectively. Meanwhile, in East Java Province, there are 25.00% of respondents with very high competitiveness, 65.00% medium competitiveness and 10.00% very low competitive.

This study is a part of geological investigation on Pleistocene sediment in East Java in order to evaluate hydrocarbon potential within this sediment of this area. The area of study is located in the on-shore East Java (Figure 1). It is financially supported by the oil company as this is commercial work done by LEMIGAS Exploration Department. Therefore, data used in this paper will be incompletely presented as they are confidential. The name of the studied wells and their precise locations are hided in this paper. Data used in this study derives from three wells namely R, S and T. Three different disciplines are applied in this study including palynology, micropaleontology and nannoplankton analyses which are useful for crosschecking purposes. Apparently, the integration of these analyses gains accurate interpretation of stratigraphy and depositional environment. The area of study is in East Java Basin which can be classified as a classical back-arc basin. During Pleistocene, the area of study was marked by regional uplift and the cessation of open marine sedimentation (LEMIGAS, 2005). Therefore Pleistocene age was dominated by non-marine deposition. Generally, this type of sediment is separated from the underlying layer by an unconformity (LEMIGAS, 2005). Most Pleistocene sediment consists of volcanoclastic as a result of volcanic activity which related to uplifting period. It is possible that volcanic activity was responsible for the burning of grass as indicated by the occurrence of charred Gramineae cuticles.

The manufacturing industry’s contribution to East Java’s economy is high. Still, the trend continues to decline, while the contribution of the trade, hotel, and restaurant sectors is increasing. This indicates that there has been a shift in the economic structure from industry to trade. This research uses a quantitative approach based on the classification carried out by UNIDO (United Nations Industrial Development Organization) and the World Bank. The results of secondary data from Central BPS and East Java Province BPS show that East Java Province is categorized as a semi-industrial area. East Java’s industrial development is experiencing a decline from the “semi- industrialization” stage to the “towards industrialization” stage. This is an early indication of a decline in industrialization or deindustrialization in East Java. If the stages of industrialization in East Java have decreased, but not for commodity industrialization (the ratio of the manufacturing industry’s contribution to the commodity sector). The value of commodity industrialization continues to increase. The commodity sector includes agriculture, mining, industry, construction, electricity, gas & drinking water.

The increase in the number of complaints by Indonesian migrant workers (PMI) from 2017 to 2019 raises big questions as to why this case happened, especially in the province of East Java with the fourth largest number of complaints in Indonesia. The function of UPT BP2MI in East Java and P3MI in East Java is questioned, how big is their role in protecting PMI, including how they collaborate to achieve this.This research will use the constructivist paradigmwith the IOC and Collaboration approach which aims todescribe how the application of communication between UPT BP2MI East Java and P3MI in East Java to collaborate with each other in protecting PMI. Informants in this study were employees of UPT BP2MI East Java and representatives of P3MI East Java which consisted of 4 companies that the researchers interviewed. Researchers can build the proposition thatobstacles come from the center, not UPT BP2MI East Java. In addition, researchers can conclude that communication between UPT BP2MI East Java and P3MI East Java is going well although there are still shortcomings. Its good application also makes collaboration elements able to be achieved well.
