Full textThe collector Aimé-Charles, called Horace, His de la Salle is born in Paris in 1795 and died in 1878. This amateur had the desire to develop the first collections of drawings in museums with the goal of educating as many people as possible. Numerous donations were made to the museums in Paris and throughout France. However, a portion of his collection was disperser elsewhere.
