Abstract:
How to realize intelligent and fast bed calls has been a key concern of hospitals. The traditional wired bed call system is not only costly but also less efficient. In this paper, research on bed call systems based on AT89C52 microcontroller is carried out. The nurse-side host (AT89C52) and the bedside slave (AT89C52) communicate over long distances using wireless communication technology. The system transmits signals, including Liquid Crystal Display (LCD), voice announcements, and beeping alarms, to indicate the bed number requiring assistance. This allows the nurse to respond promptly. The system supports real-time updates, where calls and processing occur independently, ensuring efficiency. It is not only cost-effective but also enables a rapid and intelligent call-and-response process.

A portable digital liquid density measurement system was designed. According to Archimedes principle that a sinkers buoyant force in some liquid is related with liquid density, the system proposed converted analog signal of a pressure sensor into digital signal which can be processed by AT89C52 microcontroller using ADHX711 with high accuracy. Temperature calibration was considered in data processing, which made it possible to accurately measure liquid density at different temperatures. Experiment results show that the method proposed is superior to traditional methods.

<strong>ABSTRACT</strong> This paper is on the development of a GSM (global system for mobile communication) and radio frequency remote controlled robotic car. It is very useful for accessing industrial areas that are prone to health hazards. They can also be used as a spy and for search and rescue missions in cases of emergencies or natural disaster. The robotic car uses a two-way control system which is the DTMF and radio frequency (RF) control.&nbsp; When a mobile phone is pressed the keypad tone which is heard is a frequency. These frequencies are sent out from a sound clip (head set) of the phone to the DTMF decoder IC MT8870D; this decoder converts the frequencies from the keypad tone to a 4 bit digital binary codes readable by the microcontroller AT89C52. The microcontroller AT89C52 by a software program (assembly language program) uses these bits to assign a particular instruction or command to the relay driver to either turn ON or OFF. The relay drivers control the rotation (direction) of the motors which control the wheel of the robotic car either turn clockwise or counter clockwise.

The AT89C52 microcontroller and the fuzzy control algorithm is used to design the automatic control system of variable Spraying pesticides. The system adjusts automatically the electric regulating valve according to given Spraying pesticides per unit area so that the actual amount of Spraying pesticides equal to the set value. The simulation model of automatic control system of variable pesticide application was established, and the controller was simulated by MATLAB / SIMULINK software fuzzy control toolbox. The simulation results show that the structure and algorithm of the proposed automatic control system of pesticide application is feasible, The system improves greatly pesticide utilization, reduce pesticide residues and environmental pollution.

It uses the 24C02 saving the mileage information in case of power-down system, uses LED module in real-time displaying the speed, mileage and power, and provides the alarm function of hypervelocity. In this paper a motorized solar energy collector system-a driver system that positioned the solar cell panel differently during day-time was design and implemented. The aim is to optimize the amount of solar energy that can be trapped from the sun using a solar cell panel. This is achieved by using a stepper motor, controlled by Atmel AT89C52 microcontroller, to align the panel such that all incident rays strike normal to the panel’s surface thereby maximizing the amount of solar energy that can be trapped from the sun. The alignment is time dependant. This model was implemented and tested and the results proved to be successful in maximizing the energy received from the sun than if the solar panel was fixed at a particular position.

<strong>ABSTRACT</strong> The design and simulation of an Automatic water circulation process for injection mould cooling using an embedded system for temperature control in a plastic industry is the focus of this work. Injection mould cooling is one of the most important processes in the plastic manufacturing industry. More than one-third of all plastic products are injection moulded and mould cooling is essential in the production process. The optimum temperature or ejection temperature (T<sub>EJECT</sub>) of the material to be moulded is preset in the microcontroller. This temperature depends on the melting temperature of the plastic materials being used because different plastic materials have different melting temperatures. The system senses the temperature from the source particularly high temperature source via a heat sensor such as thermocouple. The sensor output signal is conditioned and fed to the microcontroller (here, AT89C52 microcontroller is used) which drives a relay through a switching unit for switching the system to ON-OFF position. The work also describes the system control action incorporated in the hardware for obtaining the desired cooling process. The design analysis software- matlab and excel, are used for simulation in addition to Embedded C and Proteus professional. The results obtained from the process shows that it is very viable as it saves substantial consumption of power, achieves reduction in quantity of water usage in cooling and also reduces material wastage. It is more economical than the manual mould cooling method by removal of drudgery and maintaining uniform cooling process.

A white organic light emitting device with structure of ITO/2T-NATA(20)/NPBX(15)/DPVBi(15)/ Alq:Rub(10, x)/Alq3(40)/LiF/Al was fabricated using doping rubrene. When the concentration of rubrene is 3 wt.%, the chromaticity is the best (0.319, 0.317), and the color coordinates are stable. When the thickness of the doping layer is 20 nm, the efficiency and luminance of the devices are the highest, which are 5.1022 cd/A and 17130 cd/m2, respectively. On the basis, a test system is consisted of Solomon’s OLED display control driver chip SSD1306 and microcontroller AT89C52, which tests the OLED dot matrix through the program to determine whether the matrix has dead point. Through experimental comparison, the test results are consistent with the external power supply test. The system has the characteristics of high efficiency and display characters of dynamic and static pictures, which provides a feasible driving method for the practical application of OLED.

The main objective of this work is development of a type of status parameter testing system based on CAN bus for construction machinery. Various difficulties due to over-abundant parameters of testing and controlling, many different types of transducer, changes and anomalies in the operation temperature and harsh EMI environment are considered in the accomplishment. The design of intelligent field testing node is demonstrated in detail. The intelligent node consists of embedded microcontroller AT89C52, high-precision signal conditioning circuits, CAN interface module and other peripheral circuits. The intelligent node uses software auto-zero correction and full-scale correction as well as the method of second-degree parabola interpolation to deal with the non-linear characteristic of the measured data. Hence, it implements the high-precision detection and measurement. In addition, the intelligent connects to the host computer via CAN bus to form a distributed high-precision status parameters testing system. The hardware circuit of operation status parameters measurement and communication interface circuit are developed and described, and the software is also accomplished with C language and LabVIEW. The system has the advantages of simple structure, reliable performance, significant capability of real time processing, powerful anti-jamming performance and so forth. Meanwhile, the system has great application prospect.

With the purpose to guarantee the safety of drivers and passengers as well as lower the death rate collision, the early warning seatbelt intelligent adjustment system is designed by using big data analysis technology based on the aspects of hardware equipment, database, and software program. In the hardware system, microcontroller AT89C52 is applied as the control core. By means of the sensor detection and drive control, the early warning safety belt tightening, locking and lifting, and other functions are realized. Meanwhile, various components of the hardware system are coordinated through debugging several modules in the hardware system and using the modified circuit to connect them together. We determine the relational rules of the database and create the corresponding database table, to provide sufficient data support for the realization of software functions. Using the big data analysis method to process the real-time detection data received by the sensor, the software functions such as timely tightening of safety belt, humidity relaxation, and over-rolling prevention can be realized according to different driving conditions of drivers and vehicles, respectively. The conclusion is drawn through the system test experiment: compared with the traditional regulation system, the design system has a higher degree of regulation, and the application of the design results to the actual vehicle can reduce the crash fatality rate of about 22.4%.

In order to simplify the devices used for generating the 2FSK signal, a 2FSK signal generator based on AT89C51 microcontroller is proposed in this paper. A digital base band signal is inputted to the microcontroller through one of I/O ports. Then microcontrollers program is executed, which are designed for generating PWM signals according to the sine waveforms corresponding with 2FSK signals required. Consequently, an appropriate PWM signal is outputted from another I/O port. This PWM signal is sent into a simple second order passive low-pass filter, and the 2FSK signal can be obtained on the output side of the filter. The 2FSK signal generator makes full use of the resources of the microcontroller, and as a result, it is simple, easy to use, economical and reliable.

Height measuring instrument is a tool that can be used by humans to assist in the process of determining height. Most height gauges in use today are analog or manual height gauges. In today's technological developments, the author will make an automatic height measuring device using ultrasonic sensors to calculate data from received objects. The sensor is used to measure the working distance at a frequency of 40 KHz so as not to interfere with human hearing. As the control center of this measuring instrument, it uses the Arduino Uno Microcontroller. This measuring instrument is capable of measuring an object with the accuracy of the sensor reading the data, namely the maximum height of 195 cm and the minimum height of 50 cm. The advantage of this tool is that it uses a microcontroller and sensor technology, while to display measurement results using an LCD and LCD measuring instruments can move according to the height of the object, to move the LCD a DC motor is used as the driver. And the measurement results are issued through the speaker in the form of sound that has been stored on the SD Card in WAV format, making it easier for blind people to know the user's height. The drawback of this tool is the construction of the tool and sensor readings, so that the results obtained from the measurements still contain some errors.

The more crowded visitors who come to the parking area, the more busy the parking attendants who manage parking are Manually. Therefore, we need a way to solve this problem. Based on these problems, this research designed a vehicle parking automation based on the AT89S51 microcontroller where the microcontroller will check the condition of the parking entrance, if there is a vehicle in front of the door, the microcontroller will check the conditions in each place. If there is an empty place, the LCD will display the place, then the microcontroller will order to open the parking door. The door will close again after the vehicle enters. This process will continue until all parking spaces are filled.

This digital electronic circuit shows further possibilities of improvements, and is employed as a device to protect the engine-generator from the fault type that may occur during operation of the generator such as over heat; oil alert; over speed; and over voltage that will damage the engine and exciter of the generator. It is also used to protect all devices that are connected to the generator. Automatic safety deposit box is a type of safe that is designed to work to secure any valuables with safety devices that are reliable. Safe uses a motion sensor as detection of human activity in the area before safe. Magnetic sensors to detect the presence of a safe deposit box at the door is opened or closed with a locking solenoid automatic. Safe is designed differently by having two doors where both doors are in and serve as a safety in the first door cracked. The second door has an electric circuit shock. Access to safe uses two types of passwords can be changed by the owner. Another advantage is that using a GSM modem as a liaison between the safes with the owner. Each execution of the safe will be notified to the owner via text message to mobile phone owners. Number to be replaced as well as desired. Each character passwords and destination number will be displayed on the LCD. Safe also features an alarm and LED indicator.

The aim of this work is to achieve an efficient control design for the line follower robot based on Single Pole Double Through (SPDT) relays by using PROTEUS professional software and its practical implementation. It followed a white line on the black background, detects turns or nonconformities, and operates the motors very efficiently by using the microcontroller. Infrared (IR) sensors are used to sense the white line (path). Differential directing was utilized to turn ON the robot. In this article, we have the voltage from the comparator by using the IR sensors. Microcontroller AT89C51 reads the voltage from comparator and operates the relays and these relays further operate the Direct Current (DC) motors. Each rear wheel has a dedicated DC motor while the front wheel is free to rotate. The design and hardware implementation with microcontroller are presented in this paper. Multiple tests were carried out on the robot for validation of the ability to follow the white line by adopting the accurate path and successfully achieving the target. It is worth mentioning that the robot has successfully achieved the target by using the AT89C51 microcontroller.

<strong>Abstract</strong> Traffic light control systems are widely used to monitor and control the flow of vehicles through the junction of many roads. They aim to realise smooth motion of cars in the transportation routes. However, the synchronisation of multiple traffic light systems at adjacent intersections is a complicated problem given the various parameters involved. Conventional systems do not handle variable flows approaching the junctions. In addition, the mutual interference between adjacent traffic light systems, the disparity of cars flow with time, the accidents, the passage of emergency vehicles, and the pedestrian crossing are not implemented in the existing traffic system. This leads to traffic jam and congestion. We propose a system based on AT89C51 microcontroller that evaluates the traffic density using IR sensors and accomplishes dynamic timing slots with different levels.

In the sms format is divided into several segments of data that each segment has a specific purpose. The segments are: SMS center number, destination number, bytes for the purpose of setting this SMS and most important is the SMS content that has been changed in the form of a PDU. To be able to send or upload SMS data to the modem and ordered the modem to send SMS data it required AT Command instructions.

It adopts a stereo FM IC BH1415 to transmit audio FM signals, and its transmitting frequency is controlled by microcontroller. The basic principle of phase-locked loop for FM is analyzed, and the audio FM circuit based on BH1415 and the controlling method based on AT89C51 are introduced. Test results indicated that, the audio FM Exciter had simple structure and higher reliability, each parameter can meet the demands of FM broadcasting system, and it has some scalability.

The programmable control of the amplifier consists of a D/A converter DAC0832 and a programmable filter MAX262. By setting the amplifier and filter parameters on the keyboard, the gain and step adjustment can be achieved with high accuracy. The amplitude-frequency characteristic test signal source is implemented by DDS. Due to the use of a software operating system and a Chinese LCD module for display, this programmable filter provides a very user-friendly human-computer interaction interface.

In this paper, the author carries out an analysis on the circuit characteristics of the DDS system and the analog modulation signal source system, studies their performances and characteristics, and also makes a design on both software and hardware that are based on the analog circuit and AT89C51 microcontroller system. This system is mainly composed of the microcontroller control module, the frequency synthesis module and the multiplier module. The DDS frequency synthesizer can work stably and is easy to realize. Also, the high resolution of its output frequency can meet the requirements of people in the modern times.

Prinsip kerja dari robot yang dibuat ini yaitu dengan scanning daerah yang telah di berikan line following dan bila ada benda asing maka robot akan membidik kemudian menembak untuk menghancurkan objek dalam hal ini yaitu musuh yang menyelinap, yang kemudian robot akan menyingkirkan bangkai objek agar jalannya robot tidak terganggu dan meneruskan pengamanan. The phase of the array antenna will be moved without moving the structure of the array antenna itself, so that the direction of radiation pattern can be changed in accordance with the phase shifting between the antenna elements.

It put forward the design scheme of the multi-parameter data acquisition based on the existing sensors and related test equipment in laboratory. The system selected the acceleration and speed signals as the measured parameters. The PC computer was taken as the host computer and the PCI-6014 data acquisition card was used to achieve the data collection, analysis, storage and display of various parameters. At the same time the host computer sent the control signal to SCM. The SCM of AT89S52 was used as the slave computer to receive the control signal from the host computer and give an alarm signal. To achieve the real-time control for the data acquisition, the communication between the host and slave computer was achieved via the RS232 serial communication technology.
