 The development of constructing the building especially the government building develop rapidly and increasing the number of needs in each region or province in Indonesia. Issues concerning environmental problems resulting from the impact of the development of government buildings in Indonesia at this time such as environmental degradation, global warming, energy and water crises into the background of the emergence of the concept of green architecture or environmentally friendly architecture. The components of green architecture within the building and its environment relate to the site management, energy efficiency, water use efficiency, indoor air quality, environmentally friendly materials, waste management, wastewater management, and vegetation placement are necessary to be researched. The results of this study is expected to be a reference and design guidelines on the development of government buildings in Indonesia to become green buildings that are environmentally friendly.

Abstract:. Recent trends and rapid developments in computing gives tremendous impact in many disciplines beside computer science. Architecture is one of disciplines that have undergone an evolution in paradigm as a result of this development. Parametric design is one of the approaches used in architectural design which lead to the advance circumtances in design process. This approach adopts some of designer-friendly programming language where architects can utilize unlimited computation abilities from computers in search of design solutions by designing their parametric definitions or rules. This article will discuss about the parametric approach to the design of multi-storey building buildings. The case study in this research is the design competition of ASEAN Secretariat building (ESAC) organized by Ikatan Arsitek Indonesia (IAI) Jakarta. The Grasshopper platform is used to explore for building form (form-finding) that maximize the view toward its site. A simple radiation analysis is also conducted in this design process using the plug-in called Ladybug + Honey bee and Multi-Objecive Optimization using Octopus plug-in, to look for minimal radiation that is affected by the location of the building form.

 Abstrak: Tren dan perkembangan yang pesat dalam komputasi banyak mempengaruhi disiplin lain diluar ilmu komputer. Arsitektur adalah salah satu disiplin yang banyak mengalami perubahan dalam paradigma pemikirannya akibat dari perkembangan ini. Parametrik desain merupakan salah satu pendekatan yang digunakan dalam desain arsitektur. Pendekatan ini mengadopsi bahasa pemrograman dimana arsitek dapat memanfaatkan kemampuan menghitung yang tidak terbatas dari komputer dalam mencari solusi desain dengan merancang definisi parametriknya. Artikel ini akan membahas mengenai pendekatan parametrik pada desain bangunan gedung berlantai banyak. Studi kasus pada penelitian ini adalah sayembara desain gedung sekretariat ASEAN Jakarta yang diselenggarakan Ikatan Arsitek Indonesia (IAI) Jakarta. Platform Grasshopper digunakan untuk mencari gubahan masa yang dapat memaksimalkan view dan bentuk terhadap tapaknya. Analisa radiasi sederhana juga dilakukan pada proses ini dengan menggunakan plug-in Ladybug + Honey bee dan Multi-Objecive Optimization dengan menggunakan plugin Octopus, untuk mencari radiasi minimal yang dipengaruhi oleh bentuk dan letak bangunan yang didesain.

Indonesia is an earthquake-prone zone country. Many victims of life and material due to the earthquake that occurred in Indonesia. One of them is the result of the collapse of the building. Buildings in Indonesia should be designed to withstand earthquakes. The resistance of buildings to earthquakes is highly dependent on their geometric configuration which is closely related to form and space. With the development of the era, it also affects the architectural 'trend' favored by architects and clients. But without realizing this trend can affect the vulnerability of buildings to earthquakes. Design trends carried out by architects that can affect the vulnerability of buildings to earthquakes are: 1). Architectural styles that are developing in the world, 2). Abstract:
In Indonesia, earthquake-resistant structures are governed by SNI as design codes, which are updated on a regular basis. As a result, existing buildings with outdated requirements must be reviewed so that the building's performance may be assessed in light of the most recent codes. Pushover analysis and direct displacement-based design are used to characterize the real condition of the building in order to assess its performance. The 7-story reinforced concrete building structure in this study was designed according to SNI 03-2847-2002 and SNI-1726-2002. This structure will be evaluated utilizing the FEMA 440 and FEMA 356 procedures, as well as SNI 1726:2019. The results show that the structure meets the minimal performance limit criteria (which is life safety) in terms of displacement and drift values from the pushover analysis, based on FEMA 356 and FEMA 440 performance levels. The evaluation indicates better structural response parameter values (R, Ω0, and Cd) than that of SNI 1726:2019, indicating that the building performance is good and capable of withstanding the design earthquake load.

Rhinoceros dan Grasshopper digunakan sebagai alat studi bentuk bangunan bertingkat banyak. Desain parametrik dilakukan dengan parameter, yaitu berupa bentuk lantai dasar, jumlah lantai, ketebalan lantai, jarak antar lantai, derajat putar, dan olah bentuk. Eksperimen ditunjukkan dengan jumlah alternatif yang dihasilkan dari mengolah nilai parameter. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendapatkan gambaran proses mendesain bangunan berlantai banyak menggunakan metode desain parametrik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kreativitas dalam mengolah bentuk dasar menjadi bentuk bangunan bertingkat banyak.Kata kunci: Desain Parametrik, Software Rhinoceros dan Grasshopper, Bangunan Bertingkat Banyak ABSTRACT. The researcher has used the Parametric Design method to do form studies of a multi-story building. The Rhinoceros and Grasshopper software have been used as a design tool. Design parameters were ground floor shapes, number of floors, the thickness of the story, the distance between levels, degree of rotation, and graph mapper. The experimental results are indicated by the number of alternatives generated from processing parameter values. The purpose of this study is to get a description of the process of designing many-story buildings using parametric design methods. Title: Alternative Solutions to Control Heat Radiation in Commercial Building Design; Case Study: Commercial Buildings In Bukit Keminting, Palangka Raya City A building envelope is a component that protects against environmental influences outside the building that are not expected to be a solution in controlling heat radiation and sunlight. However, the shops in Bukit Keminting, Palangka Raya, have challenges. In addition to its function as a commercial building with essential criteria like visibility aspect, the position of the storefront along the road also directly faces the sunset. This causes the store to receive heat and glare from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Using web-based software development from AndrewMarsh.com. This study focuses on effective shading devices for stores in Bukit Keminting Palangka Raya in controlling heat radiation without eliminating the vital aspect of visibility for commercial buildings. The software analysis shows that a highly flexible device is the most suitable solution. The type of shading device with these properties is the type of external Venetian blind, which can be adjusted according to the direction of the incoming light, which changes every month.

Title: Implementation’s Analysis of Tropical Architectural Design Concepts at Alila Seminyak Hotel, Bali Tropical architecture is born from efforts to adjust to the climate in the tropics. Tropical architectural design always shows the form of adaptation of buildings to the environment. Traditional Balinese houses that function as community residential units are one of the tropical architectural typologies with the main advantage of thermal comfort, especially on air circulation flow that flows well throughout the building. However, when reviewing further commercial buildings in Bali, especially star hotels, the implementation of tropical architecture is a theme that requires deep design thinking. Adjustment to Balinese regional regulations on buildings is very binding; limited sites and demands for comfort and suitability of building functions are challenging for architects to design an accommodation building with a tropical architectural concept. Alila Seminyak Hotel is one of the five-star hotels outside the ITDC Nusa Dua area, which tries to form a tropical architectural identity as the main attraction. This qualitative descriptive research takes the case study of Alila Seminyak Hotel. Assessment analysis was carried out on the physical form of the hotel building, which was then appropriated and compared with tropical architectural theory. The results of this study show that the implementation of tropical architecture in the Alila Seminyak hotel building can be classified into several main elements, namely, first is the form of laying the building period on-site, second is the orientation pattern of the building, and third is The physical design of the building emphasizes, that this building have three main concept designs, it is namely insulation, shading, and cross ventilation.

Facade element design is a benchmark for harmonizing new buildings in historic cultural heritage areas. By using the contextual architecture approach, this facade design study was carried out. The study method uses descriptive qualitative analysis, namely understanding and describing phenomena or events in detail and depth. Thearesultssofatheaanalysisashowathat conversion activities in the Hasan Sadikin Hospital area need toibeicontinuouslyiimproved by increasing cooperation betweenatheagovernment, managementaorganizations, areas, and buildingaowners. The construction of the building for the mother and child service center building, Hasan Sadikin Hospital, Bandung, although it is quite far from the cultural heritage building, is included in the cultural heritage area, which means that theafacadeiofitheibuildingiis madeias harmonious as possible with the surrounding environment. It was proposed that the facade of the MCHC building be in harmony with the surrounding buildings by displaying details or ornaments taken from cultural heritage buildings and applied to the new building facades.

Abstract: Design thinking with a semiotic approach is a design strategy that seeks to bridge the communication gap between architects and the process of interpreting messages by readers or observers, so that architectural works can be interpreted properly. The Regional People's Representative Council (DPRD) is the highest symbol of autonomous government power in the Regency area. Based on the functional ideology attached to the DPRD building, the architectural form of the DPRD office building is a symbolic language that represents local values and cultural identity. The aim of this research is to find out the concept of symbolic signs that are internalized by local people and how semiotic transformation strategies can be carried out to produce expressions in the form of DPRD office buildings that represent local identities. The method used is to conduct a literature study that is relevant to the formal object of architectural semiotics, then elaborated with the theory of the principles of architectural arrangement of government buildings as the material object of this research. Based on the research objectives, a collection of ideas, ideas, attributes and symbols of local culture, were analyzed and mapped within the semiotic-Barthes concept framework and transformed into a simulation model for the design of the East Flores Regency DPRD office building. building.Abstrak: Berpikir desain dengan pendekatan semiotika merupakan suatu strategi perancangan yang berupaya menjembatani jarak komunikasi antara arsitek dengan proses penafsiran pesan oleh pembaca atau pengamat, sehingga karya arsitektur dapat dimaknai dengan baik. Lembaga Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat Daerah (DPRD) merupakan simbol kekuasaan pemerintahan otonom tertinggi di wilayah Kabupaten. Berlandaskan ideologi fungsi yang melekat pada bangunan DPRD, maka perwujudan arsitektur bangunan kantor DPRD ialah bahasa simbol yang merepresientasikan tata nilai dan identitas budaya setempat. Tujuan penelitian ialah menemukan konsep tanda-simbolis apa yang dihidupi masyarakat setempat dan bagaimana strategi transformasi semiotika yang dapat dilakukan untuk menghasilkan ungkapan bentuk bangunan kantor DPRD yang mewakili identitas setempat. Metode yang digunakan ialah melakukan studi pustaka yang relevan dengan objek formal semiotika arsitektur, kemudian dielaborasikan dengan teori prinsip penataan arsitektur bangunan pemerintahan sebagai objek material penelitian ini. Berlandaskan pada tujuan penelitian, maka pengumpulan gagasan, ide, atribut dan simbol budaya lokal, dianalisis dan dipetakan dalam kerangka konsep semiotika-Barthes dan ditransformasikan dalam model simulasi desain bangunan gedung kantor DPRD Kabupaten Flores Timur.

Karena gedung program studi Arsitektur masih baru maka dibutuhkan meja khusus Ketua Jurusan Desain di gedung tersebut. Tujuan perancangan meja kerja ini adalah untuk melengkapi kebutuhan produk mebel di ruang Ketua Jurusan yang ada di gedung Arsitektur. Desain meja kerja ini menggunakan konsep portable dan sistem lepas-pasang pada bagian-bagian tertentu yang dapat mengatasi permasalahan space ruang kantor dan pintu yang sempit, serta mengutamakan kebutuhan pengguna dari segi fungsi dan estetikanya. Dengan metode perancangan yang dilakukan antara lain; pengumpulan data, analisa data, konsep atau spesifikasi desain, alternatif desain, pengembangan alternatif terpilih, serta desain akhir, maka didapatkan hasil akhir perancangan meja kerja dengan konsep portable bergaya desain modern sesuai kebutuhan dan keinginan pengguna. Dengan dibuatnya meja kerja yang sesuai fungsi dan estetis diharapkan dapat membantu aktivitas kantor harian untuk Ketua Jurusan Desain Politeknik Negeri Samarinda, sehingga tercipta desain yang lebih baik. 
 Samarinda State Polytechnic is one of the colleges in Samarinda consisting of several majors and courses, one of which is the Design Department, which consists of two courses, namely the Product Design and Architecture. Study Program Product Design and Architecture have each lecture building. Because the building Architectural studies program is still new, the need for a special desk Chairman of the Department of Design at the building. Work table design objectives are to complement the needs of furniture products in the existing Chairman of the Department of Architecture building. Another objective of this work table design that uses the concept of portable and removable systems in certain parts that can overcome the problems of space for office space and the narrow door, and prioritize the needs of users in terms of function and aesthetics. With a design method of among others; data collection, data analysis, concept or design specifications, design alternatives, the selected alternative development, as well as the final design, the final results obtained design concept portable workbench with a modern design style according to the needs and desires of the users. We make appropriate workbench and aesthetic functions are expected to help the daily office activities to the Chairman of Samarinda State Polytechnic School of Design, so as to create a better design.

Dalam penelitinan pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan melakikan studi literatur pada bangunan Ishatvam 9 yang telah memenuhi standar bangunan apartemen parametrik yang di tinjau dari prinsip prinsip arsitektur parametrik dari hasil penelitian arsitektur parametrik penerapan konsep pada studi kasus bangunan apartemen, arsitektur parametrik memiliki bentuk elemen-elemen bangunan yang sangat berpengaruh dalam setiap bangunan saling terkait satu sama lain, tujuan tersebut memiliki makna tersendiri pada setiap bangunan tetapi tetap memikirkan kenyamanan untuk penguna bangunan tersebut. Abstrak_ Para era saat ini, objek arsitektur tidak hanya dituntut untuk estetis dan fungsional namun juga hemat secara energi. Tidak terkecuali pada objek berjenis tempat tinggal atau residensial. Residensial menjadi objek yang membutuhkan kenyamanan beraktivitas dalam kontes suhu ruangan dan tingkat pencahayaan, dengan tetap memperhatikan tingkat konsumsi energinya. Terdapat sejumlah faktor yang mempengaruhi nilai konsumsi energi pada desain bangunan. Diantaranya bentuk denah bangunan dan volume ruangan, arah hadap bangunan, bahan selubung bangunan; serta bentuk jendela. Oleh karena itu, dibutuhkan bentuk desain bangunan yang tepat untuk mencapai nilai Intensitas Konsumsi Energi (IKE) sesuai dengan yang dipersyaratkan oleh Peraturan Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan dan Kementerian Energi dan Sumber Daya Mineral Tahun 2012. Performance-Based Design dapat menjadi salah satu pendekatan untuk menyelesaikan persoalan ini. Performance-Based Design merupakan sebuah pendekatan desain yang mempertimbangkan performa dari setiap elemen bangunan. Sefaira adalah salah satu perangkat lunak (software) dari Performance-Based Design. Sefaira mampu mensimulasikan penggunaan energi pada suatu desain, dengan terlebih dahulu memasukkan data iklim serta data-data elemen bangunan. Dari hasil penelitian, didapatkan bahwa desain bangunan yang dikategorikan efisien dengan IKE mencapai 95-145 kWh/m2/tahun, jika bentukan geometri bangunan memiliki banyak sisi atau mengarah ke bentuk lengkung, proporsi antar sisi yang sama atau jika sedikit memanjang, bangunan berorientasi arah hadap ke barat dan timur, mengurangi selubung material glazing, serta penggunaan shading external venetian.

 Abstract_ Currently, architectural items need to be energy efficient in addition to being aesthetically pleasing and practical. Residential or residential-type objects are not exempt. Residential buildings need to be kept at comfortable temperatures and with appropriate lighting while also being mindful of their energy usage. The importance of energy usage in building design depends on several aspects. These include the building's orientation, the material of the building envelope, the shape of the window, and the building plan and room volume. In order to attain the Energy Consumption Intensity (IKE) value required by the 2012 Regulations of the Ministry of Education and Culture and the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, a suitable form of building design is therefore necessary. Performance-Based Design is one method that could be used to address this issue. A design methodology known as "performance-based design" takes into account each architectural element's performance. One piece of performance-based design software is Sefaira. To simulate energy use in a design, one must first enter building element and climate data into Sefaira. According to the research findings, a building design is considered efficient with an IKE if it satisfies the following criteria: (1) the building's geometric shape leads to a curved shape or has many sides; (2) the building's proportions are the same or, if it is slightly elongated, it is oriented towards the west and east; (3) the building reduces the amount of glazing material coverings; and (4) the building uses external Venetian shading.

Sedangkan Tropis merujuk pada terminologi letak geografis daerah di sekitar equator diantara Garis Tropic of Cancer dan Tropic of Capricorn. Kajian ini membahas prinsip desain Arsitektur Bioklimatik pada iklim tropis. Dengan demikian dapat disusun theoritical framework terkait prinsip desain arsitektur pada iklim tropis. Metode yang digunakan pada kajian ini dengan menggunakan studi referensi. In addition to the occurrence of global climate change phenomena that foster energy-intensive for buildings to fulfill the physical comfort. This condition raises awareness of the importance of architectural design based on local natural conditions including local climatic conditions or the utilization of bioclimatic potential. Bioclimatic Architecture is a design approach that directs architects to get a design finish by considering the relationship between architectural forms and the climate environment of the area. This study discusses the principles of Bioclimatic Architecture design in tropical climates. Thus the theoretical framework is expected to be arranged related to the principles of architectural design in tropical climates. Tropical climate refers to the terminology of the geographical location of the area around the equator between the Tropic of Cancer and Tropic of Capricorn Lines. The method used in this study is a literature study or reference study. From this study it can be concluded that the principles of Bioclimatic Architectural Design in Tropical Climates consist of 2 (two) types, including design principles for buildings in the Hot Humid Climate area which has 2 seasons and design principles for buildings in dry tropical climate regions (Hot Arid Climate) with 4 seasons. These two design principles are influenced by several different climatic conditions between these two climatic regions. These two regions generally have high air temperatures; the difference is the diurnal temperature difference between the two climate regions. This condition requires a different response, especially in the design of the building envelope, where the design of the building envelope influences the level of heat gain and heat loss in the effort to create indoor thermal comfort in the building.

Abstract: Bandung is a country with a tropical climate. The highest temperature reaches 32 ° C while the highest solar radiation exposure is more than 10 hours. On the other hand, the top speed of the wind only reaches 1 m / s. As a tourist city, building design in Bandung is demanded to be able to offer convenience for tourist visitors. Located at an altitude of 600-900dpl, the city of Bandung in addition to having an average air of 28 ° C, an average humidity of 68, thus significantly influencing the achievement of thermal comfort in the building to be designed. This paper aims to analyze the facade design of recreational-culinary function buildings that are able to respond to the tropical climate, especially those that offer thermal comfort to visitors. The double skin hollow facade system and there are hinges that are able to respond to interactions between buildings, wind, and sun exposure, so that wind speed and sun exposure can be optimally regulated through the dynamic function of the building's façade. Design experiments using the sunhour and flow design plugins to assess solar radiation and wind speed by manipulating facades, especially in the northern orientation can reduce sun exposure in 5-7 hours.Keywords: Building facade design, tropical building design, thermal comfort.Abstrak: Bandung merupakan negara dengan iklim tropis. Sebagai kota wisata, desain bangunan di Bandung dituntut mampu menawarkan kenyamanan bagi para pengunjung wisata. Terletak pada ketinggian 600-900dpl, Kota Bandung selain memiliki udara rata-rata 28°C, kelembapan rata-rata 68, sehingga berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap pencapaian kenyamanan termal pada bangunan yang akan didesain. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis desain fasade pada bangunan fungsi rekreatif-kuliner yang mampu merespon iklim tropis, terutama yang menawarkan kenyamanan termal pengunjungnya. Sistem double skin fasade berongga dan terdapat engsel yang mampu merespon interaksi antara bangunan, angin, dan paparan sinar matahari, sehingga kecepatan angin dan paparan sinar matahari dapat diatur secara optimal melalui fungsi dinamis façade bangunan. Percobaan desain menggunakan plugin sunhour dan flow desain untuk menilai radiasi matahari dan kecepatan angin dengan memanipulasi fasade, terutama di orientasi utara mampu mengurangi paparan matahari dalam 5-7 jam.Kata Kunci: Desain fasade bangunan, desain bangunan tropis, kenyamanan termal.

As a commercial corridor, it is filled by rows of shophouses that sells both variety of goods and secondary needs of most citizens in Surabaya. Initially, the existing buildings are the dutch heritage building which were converted into a shophouses. Yet, there are several shop buildings that has been renovated and reconstructed by the owner into a modern style building. As a corridor which is located both in the developing region and high density of activity, the reducing of the colonial heritage buildings is feared to eliminate the visual distinctiveness of the region. This can also be an unfavorable precedent for other buildings owners when renovating or reconstructing their buildings. So that, their vulnerable heritage building will be reconstructed into a new modern style building that can eliminate the historical value in it. This study aims to find an alternate facade design of shophouses in the corridor as a commercial building which can be used as a reference in designing a new one. The used methodology is descriptive qualitative through technical analysis of visual character of colonial buildings. The elements observed included style, color, texture, pattern, and scale of the building. These findings are expected to provide a guidance to the community, including architects and building owners in reconstructing the existing shophouses especially in the road corridors of Songoyudan and generally in the area of the Old Town Hall Kembang Jepun Surabaya.

Indonesia with its tropical climate should adopt green buildings arranged by the Government Regulation. The green buildings usually use the Double Skin Façade (DF) system to mitigate heat transfer into interior spaces. One of the green buildings at Diponegoro University is the Psychology Faculty. This research aims to analyze this green building based on Government Regulation, such as stipulated in SNI 6389-2011 and the Ministerial Regulation of PUPR of the Republic of Indonesia Number 21, dated 2021, which mandates that the overall heat transfer value of the outer building should not exceed 35 W/m². By applying the descriptive qualitative method, the Overall thermal Transfer Value (OTTV) was measured. The results show that Faculty of Psychology building at Diponegoro University utilizes the DSF system, with stopsol Asahimas dark blue glass as the outer skin and predominantly brick inner skin equipped with operable windows with the Overall Thermal Transfer Value (OTTV) value of 42.6 W/m². However, the comprehensive building OTTV value is 54.94 W/m², classified as non-compliant with green building design criteria based on the Government Regulations.

Setelah itu platform yang digunakan untuk me-monitoring sistem tersebut menggunakan platform GOIOT. Cara kerja sistem ini adalah dengan mendeteksi sensor maka dalam sistem monitoring dapat langsung mengetahui sensor yang mendeteksi dan berada dimana sensor tersebut berada. Terdapat beberapa pengujian seperti pengujian antara Arduino Mega 2560 dengan NodeMCU memiliki kecepatan sebesar 1 detik. ESP8266, selanjutnya pengujian dari NodeMCU ESP8266 ke GOIOT juga memiliki kecepatan pengiriman data sebesar 1 detik. Kemudian untuk Pengiriman data dari sensor ke GOIOT memiliki banyak perbedaan waktu di masing masing sensor,seperti data yang tercepat dari sensor keGOIOT adalah Sensor Vibration 2 atau SW-420 yang waktunya adalah 2,8 detik sedangkan yang terlama dalah sensor DHT11-2 dengan waktu 32,35 detik.

Through qualitative methods and descriptive approaches in this study to gain knowledge of generative concepts in the world of contemporary construction, to case studies of the Great Court building. The Great Court building has the characteristics of a generative concept characteristic of building construction elements. The results of this study indicate that the generative concept of contemporary construction has several principles that exist in buildings, such as complex and complex shapes; a unified form; dynamic form; complex curved geometric shapes; and forms of repetition and symmetry.

The Education Building is one of the public spaces that must pay attention to the need for visual comfort needed by students to study productively. The author researched to evaluate visual comfort in the Dean's Building, Faculty of Public Health, Diponegoro University. The method used in this study is a quantitative approach which is carried out by conducting simulations using Revit Lighting Analysis software as data collection to determine the performance of the building. The resulting data was in the form of a diagram of the lighting level in the building. The data from the study explained that the dean's building of the Faculty of Public Health has not met the lighting standards, the building tends to receive excessive sunlight on the west and east sides but the lighting does not stretch on the building, so that some sides of the building lack lighting which the author can conclude that the intensity of space lighting is influenced by the natural lighting obtained from the opening of each room. The design of sun shaders and sun filters in the form of secondary skin is an effort to minimize excess light that enters and expands openings on the sides of buildings that do not receive sunlight. After the redesign, the lighting intensity on the west and east parts began to decrease and was close to the lighting standard. This study explains that the provision of sun shaders and sun filters in the form of secondary skin can optimize natural lighting in a building.

Prefabricated residential innovation is producing large-scale building components from factory environmental standards and then assembled at the construction site, obtaining production process efficiency benefits with modular methods, adjusting to occupant needs from agreed design configurations. However, this innovation brings the dilemma of ownership being closer to manufacturing than occupants and the existence of standard limits in design improvisation. This study aims to evaluate the production results of prefabricated building components in its innovation to residents in planning occupancy, as it is known that the dilemma of prefabricated occupancy allows the risk of gaps between residents to places or known as placelessness. Qualitative methods with a case study approach have been used in this research through spatial design analysis by Ian Higgins by explaining physical elements through planning strategies, spatial requirements, and spatial compositions. The results of the study concluded that prefabricated buildings achieve occupancy factors; 1) Effective and functional, refers to meeting key needs and supporting activities, 2) Practical and optimal, refers to the design of space arrangements that prioritize comfort and convenience, 3) Compatible, refers to achieving room personalization according to needs and lifestyle.

Pasaraya Manggarai is a shopping center which is a branch of Pasaraya Grande. Pasaraya was originally a shopping center building with the first department store system in Jakarta and is one of the buildings that has become the center of attention in the Manggarai area. But with current technological advances, Pasaraya, which used to look modern, is now considered old-fashioned and no longer attractive to young people, especially compared to other big malls in Jakarta. In addition, Pasaraya also did not provide many other facilities besides the shopping center itself, so the building had some difficulty attracting the public and eventually closed. Therefore, this project aims to make this shopping center more attractive by redesigning the building. This can be in the form of entertainment, dinner, and others. By looking at the technology developments of our current era, the planned design would implement various technologies to attract visitors’ attention merged with the Trans-programming method. This ensures the building is resistant and can adapt to changing times. The technology applied would mainly be Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, and Mixed Reality Technology with the metaverse Concept. This technology is expected to provide a building atmosphere that has never existed before and make visitors feel like they are in another world. Oleh karena itu, proyek ini bertujuan untuk membuat pusat perbelanjaan ini lebih menarik dengan mendesain kembali bangunan. Hal ini dapat berupa entertainment, diner, dan lain lain. Dengan melihat perkembangan jaman kita saat ini juga, desain yang direncanakan akan mengimplementasikan berbagai macam teknologi untuk menarik perhatian pengunjung yang akan disatukan dengan metode Trans-programming. Hal ini dilakukan untuk memastikan bangunan tahan dan dapat beradaptasi dengan perubahan jaman. Teknologi yang diterapkan secara utama akan berupa teknologi Virtual Reality, Augemnted Reality, dan Mixed Reality dengan konsep metaverse. Penerapan teknologi ini diharapkan dapat memberikan suasana bangunan yang belum pernah ada sebelumnya, dan membuat pengunjung seperti berada pada dunia lain.

Reinforced concrete is also more effectively used for structures that have a less long span. Ibis Padang Hotel building planning uses reinforced concrete structures with reference to SNI 2847:2013 on Structural Concrete Requirements for Buildings and SNI 1726:2012 on Earthquake Resilience Planning Procedures for Building And Non-Building Structures. The burdens that occurred were reviewed in SNI 1727:2013 on The Indonesian Demolition Regulation for Buildings and Other Buildings. This planning uses a dual system of SRPMK and sliding walls in terms of earthquake anchoring. The concept of this plan is based on the ultimate design that occurs, where the ultimate value must be smaller than the cross-sectional strength of the structural components. Style calculation – style in using the ETABS 2013 program. In addition, there is also a calculation of the Cost Budget Plan. This writing aims to find out the comparison of the structural components of the Ibis Padang Hotel building using Base Isolator with the results of planning using Fixed Base. The beam component comparison obtained a smaller yield of 15.17% for casting volume and 23.64% for repeat weight. The comparison of column components obtained smaller results of 29.17% for casting volume and 24.32% for repeat weight. Comparison of plate components obtained a smaller result of 16.58% for the repeating weight. The comparison of pile cap components obtained a smaller result of 45.98% for casting volume and 2.54% of repeating weight.

The development of BIM not only focuses on building digital modeling and design analysis but can also enable design adjustments to improve energy efficiency, such as the use of more environmentally friendly materials or adjustments to thermal comfort and performance management or energy use. BIM also makes it possible to identify areas that can be improved to reduce dependence on non-renewable energy. This research begins by collecting theoretical and practical data related to the use and utilization of BIM in the form of energy analysis which is expected to have an impact on adaptive design to climate change. Followed by data analysis, through a case study in the form of an existing residential house by involving Analyze Energy Optimization in Autodesk REVIT to identify Energy Analysis which will produce Analytical Spaces, Analytical Surfaces, Solar Study, and Lightning study. And insight 360 can calculate the most likely energy used to evaluate energy efficiency in residential homes. The results of this study show that energy analysis using BIM can optimize energy in a building. This analysis can contribute to reducing negative impacts on the environment to help achieve Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The conclusion of this research is that the utilization of BIM in climate change adaptive design planning can provide a deep insight into how this technology can be well integrated in the design and construction process to create buildings that are not only comfortable and aesthetically pleasing, but efficient in energy use and environmentally friendly in the face of climate change challenges

Provide understanding to the community and workers with work methods in accordance with technical specifications for buildings, referring to existing standards, assisting communities in accommodating the amount of development costs in accordance with the specified design. The desired output for the surrounding community is the occurrence of a community culture to build according to technical specifications, planning the construction of public facilities exactly according to the plan. Kota Surabaya dikategorikan sebagai ibukota yang cukup padat, sehingga potensi terjadinya bahaya gempa bumi yang berasal dari sesar Kendeng terbukti aktif serta melakukan pergerakan 5 milimeter per tahun. Menyadari fenomena tersebut merupakan hal yang mutlak sebagai bahan pertimbangan dalam mendisain dan membangun bangunan di wilayah seluruh Indonesia. Sebagai usaha memperkuat pembelajaran terutama pengenalan desain seismik pada mahasiswa Arsitektur, sehingga perlu diteliti prinsip (faktor) yang mempengaruhi desain seismik dengan studi kasus adalah gedung perpustakaan kampus I UINSA, sebagai kajian studi alternatif desain bangunan terhadap ketahanan gedung akibat beban lateral. Metode penelitian adalah deskriptif kuantitatif selanjutnya dianalisis menggunakan software Resist 4,0. Prinsip atau faktor desain seismik yang mempengaruhi pada bangunan bertingkat yaitu, informasi detail konstruksi gedung, rencana lantai (bentuk denah), data seismik (peta wilayah gempa), beban angin, jenis perkuatan struktur dan material yang digunakan baik pada arah X maupun Y, dan informasi terkait konstruksi pondasi. Alternatif pilihan desain seismik terdapat 132 pilihan kombinasi yang dapat digunakan terhadap 12 pilihan jenis perkuatan untuk lateral struktur pada arah X dan Y yang tidak sama masing-masing pada kedua arah tersebut. Pilihan tersebut dapat digunakan pada bangunan studi kasus. Hasil analisis sebagai struktur awal (pembelajaran) yang dapat digunakan oleh mahasiswa Arsitektur maupun Teknik sipil dan hasilnya tidak diperkenankan sebagai hasil desain akhir pada bangunan dilapangan. Indonesia's tectonic conditions are located at the confluence of the world's large and small plates, thus giving the impact that the region has the potential for frequent earthquakes. Surabaya is categorized as a relatively dense capital city, so the potential for earthquake hazards from the Kendeng fault is proven active and moves 5 millimeters per year. Realizing this phenomenon is an absolute thing as a material consideration in designing and constructing buildings throughout Indonesia. To strengthen learning, especially the introduction of seismic design to Architecture students, it is necessary to examine the principles (factors) that influence seismic design with a case study of the I UINSA campus library building as an alternative study of building design against building resistance due to lateral loads. The research method is descriptive and quantitative, then analyzed using Resist 4.0 software. Seismic design principles or factors that affect high-rise buildings are detailed information on building construction, floor plans (plan form), seismic data (earthquake area maps), wind loads, types of structural reinforcement, and materials used in both the X and Y directions and information related to foundation construction. Alternative seismic design options 132 combination options can be used against 12 choices of reinforcement types for lateral structures in the X and Y directions, which are not the same in both directions. These options can be used in case study buildings. The results of the analysis as an initial structure (learning) that can be used by students of Architecture and Civil Engineering, and the results are not allowed as the result of the final design of the building in the field. The continued existence of colonial buildings in Indonesia represents a process of design adaptation. Colonial buildings have experienced numerous functional changes, necessitating new design modifications within existing structures, all while preserving their cultural heritage. This necessitates a transformational and innovative design process. This study aims to identify the design innovations of neoclassical-style colonial buildings in Wastukencana, Bandung, from their establishment until they transitioned into a commercial function. We used an exploratory description of existing residential buildings in the Netherlands and Wastukencana in 1819, before they transitioned into commercial functions. For a period of more than 100 years, the residential building has been able to survive as a comfortable place to live without change. The transformation of the building into a commercial facility necessitates new adjustments while maintaining the integrity of the existing structure. The Netherlands carried out design innovations at the beginning of its establishment, transforming the shape of the roof, the façade, and using materials suitable for the tropical climate. Meanwhile, the main structure transitions from residential to commercial use by incorporating separate building elements, preserving its cultural heritage status.

Sustainable construction is a way for the construction industry to achieve sustainable development by considering social, economic, environmental and cultural issues. Generally, in every commercial building, the equipment that uses the largest amount of energy is air conditioning equipment, including hospital buildings, which is influenced by the surface design concept of the building facade, so this research was created to optimize green building-based building facade design through heat transfer values on the building wall facade or Overall Thermal Transfer Value (OTTV) which refers to SNI 6389:2011 concerning Energy Conservation of Building Envelopes using value engineering methods. The results show that the use of 310 Wp Solar Panels, blue green Stopsol Glass, Aluminum Composite Panels (ACP), Acian Plaster Walls, Wheatershield Paint has an increase in initial costs of 31.23% from existing conditions, but is superior in reducing heat with the highest OTTV value low at 34.16 Wh/m2 and provides the most optimal savings in electricity usage costs of 30.5%.

Hingga saat ini, pelaksanaan pekerjaan konstruksi bangunan pada umumnya masih belum sepenuhnya menerapkan konsep green building, karena pemilik proyek, perencana, dan pelaksana konstruksi masih belum memahami konsep green building secara komprehensif, sehingga upaya mencapai pembangunan bangunan ramah lingkungan sulit untuk dicapai. The exterior design of a building is part of the physical facilities that have a role in providing location and attracting consumers to come. It is instrumental in communicating information about what is in the building as well as establishing permanent advertisement for the consumer on overall image of a retail appearance. It is necessary to maintain the balance of the image formed on the outside of the building. Some components that can be defined for the interior are the aesthetics and design space. 
 The purpose of doing this study is to determine the extent of the influence of Exterior Design, Interior Design and Atmosphere Store for Customer Satisfaction. Customer satisfaction means that the customers must have what they really want (want), when (when), and how they acquire it. This study uses a quantitative research approach, and the data are collected by setting the first draft as the variables associated derived from existing theories obtained by researchers and use questionnaires to measure variables. Survey method used for the sampling of the population and questionnaires as main data collection instrument. SPSS is used to analyze the descriptive statistics. 
 The result shows that exterior design has a significance impact on customer satisfaction. The interior design has an influence on customer satisfaction. The atmosphere of the store has an influence on customer satisfaction, with the regression equation is Y (16 249) = X1 (0086) + X2 (-0048) + X3 (0665).

Arsitektur kontemporer merupakan gaya konsep desain yang baru arsitektur kontemporer memiliki banyak gaya desain yang berbeda. arsitektur kontemporer sangat konseptual, berbagai gaya dan pendekatan di terapkan di dalam sebuah desain bangunan. arsitektur kontemporer merupakan sebuah perkembangan di dunia arsitektur, perkebangan zaman mempengaruhi terjadinya sebuah konsep pada bangunan tersebut, bangunan masjid tidak luput dari sebuah desain arsitektur kontemporer, fenomena desain bangunan masjid dengan konsep arsitektur juga terjadi. pada sebuah pembahasan bangunan masjid al irsyad, masjid honeycomb dan masjid kapsarc bangunan masjid tersebut menerapkan konsep arsitektur kontemporer pada bangunannya. Bangunan masjid tersebut memiliki ciri dan khas masing masing dari desainnya. Penerapakan konsep dan prinsip arsitektur kontemporer terjadi pada bangunan tersebut. Tujuan dari penelitian ini mendeskripsikan prinsip-prinsip konsep arsitektur kontemporer pada bangunan masjid. Selain itu, manfaat dari penelitian ini dapat menjadi acuan bagi mahasiswa arsitektur dalam merancang bangunan yang berkonsep arsitektur kontemporer. pada penelitian ini mengelola data dan menguraikan dengan metode deskriptif dengan strategi kualitatif Dalam mencari data menggunakan metode deskripsi pada studi kasusnya. deskripsi studi kasusnya meliputi beberapa hal, yaitu data studi kasus,gubahan massa, eksterior,interior, tata ruang dan sirkulasi, fasad, tampak dan struktur. The objectives of this research are (1) to analyze the needs for the development of critical thinking learning tools for software applications and building interior design in vocational schools. (2) Describe product validation of critical thinking software applications and interior design of buildings in SMK. (3) Describe the effectiveness of critical thinking products in software applications and interior design of buildings in Vocational High Schools. (4) Describe the practicality of critical thinking products for software applications and building interior design in Vocational High Schools. The type of research used is research and development (Research and Development) which aims to develop and produce a product. The development procedure refers to the ADDIE development model. The results obtained are the development of critical thinking learning tools in the subject of Software Applications and Building Interior Design. The research instrument uses an assessment sheet according to 2 expert lecturers and 25 student responses. The results of the validity, practicality and effectiveness that have been obtained are: 94% material validity, 91.7% practicality and 80% effectiveness.

<em>Grobogan Regency is one of the regions that has high agricultural potential. However, the existing educational facilities cannot accommodate all existing communities. Education in agriculture is found as lacking where not all regions who potentially in agriculture have agriculture-based educational institutions. Agricultural Vocational High School with the concept of permaculture in Grobogan provides five departments in agriculture with a three-year study period. Planning method in this design using planning, programming and designing which related to permaculture concept. Permaculture is the basis for ecological and independent building design by emphasizing the main principles of permaculture; energy planning, energy cycle, scale, biological sources and related locations that are in accordance with the needs of the education and agriculture regions. Design of agricultural vocational school emphasizes on zoning in building and sector. Building materials through the production process are materials that produce carbon emissions that can cause global warming and have a very wide impact to affect life on Earth. Regulations on greenhouse gas control towards low-carbon development were created in order to more accurately measure greenhouse gas emissions. The development of information technology that occurs in the current era allows information technology users to complete information technology-related tasks more easily. Manual calculation of carbon emissions takes more time. The more building materials are used, the more calculations are made, so the human error rate is very high. This study aims to design a system of calculation of carbon emissions of building materials. System design is designed using Unified Modeling Language method to describe the interaction of actors with the system consisting of Use Case diagrams, Activity diagrams, Data Flow Diagrams and Entity Relationship diagrams. There are two actors in the design of this system, namely admin and user who perform different functions to the system. The structural design of this three-story Islamic boarding school building, the results obtained after analysis include; risk category II so that the earthquake priority factor is 1. The soil site class is soft soil. In the structural system, it is designed using a special moment resisting frame system (SRPMK). The seismic design category obtained is category D. Seismic inspection starting from checking irregularities, diaphragm design, checking the number of structural vibration variations, determining the fundamental period of the structure, seismic response coefficient values, seismic base shear, checking the deviation between floors is carried out based on SNI 1726-2019. for column elements, beams and also plates in existing conditions after analysis have met the requirements based on SNI 2847-2019. The conclusion in this final project research is based on the results of the analysis that the design of the Attybian Islamic boarding school building still meets the requirements based on SNI 1726-2019 concerning procedures for earthquake resistance planning for buildings and non-buildings and also for beam, column and plate elements have met the requirements based on SNI 2847-2019 concerning reinforced concrete structures. However, for the beam elements for the reinforcement requirements, it is still too wasteful so that in this analysis, the amount of reinforcement is reduced because in the planning principle it must be safe and economical.

The Metropole XXI cinema as a landmark building in the Cikini area, Jakarta, has been listed as A class heritage building since 1993. It was established as public entertainment space and the oldest cinema in Indonesia since it was built in 1949. The Metropole XXI architecture has the Art Deco style, as a sign of transition to the end of the Dutch colonial era. As a heritage building, it is suspected that interior design in this site is harmony with its architectural style. Research is needed to review the interior design styles found in cultural heritage buildings. This study uses qualitative method, by collecting field observation data, literature review and visual data. The data obtained were then analyzed to prove the engagement between interior design and architectural styles of cultural heritage buildings with a case study at the Metropole XXI Jakarta cinema. AbstrakBangunan cagar budaya adalah situs yang mencatat sejarah manusia di masa lalu untuk kehidupan yang lebih baik di masa depan dan membutuhkan konservasi. Bioskop Metropole XXI sebagai bangunan tengara di daerah Cikini, Jakarta, telah terdaftar sebagai gedung warisan kelas A sejak tahun 1993. Bioskop ini didirikan sebagai ruang hiburan publik dan bioskop tertua di Jakarta sejak dibangun pada tahun 1949. Sebagai bangunan peninggalan, diduga desain interior di situs ini selaras dengan gaya arsitekturnya. Penelitian diperlukan untuk meninjau gaya desain interior yang ditemukan di bangunan cagar budaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif, dengan mengumpulkan data observasi lapangan, tinjauan pustaka dan data visual. Data yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisis untuk membuktikan keterlibatan antara desain interior dan gaya arsitektur bangunan cagar budaya dengan studi kasus di bioskop Metropole XXI Jakarta.

Green building dirancang untuk mengurangi dampak negatif lingkungan. Software EDGE membantu menganalisis kelayakan bangunan ramah lingkungan dengan standar sertifikasi yang dikembangkan oleh IFC. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi desain Gedung C Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Diponegoro berdasarkan kriteria green architecturemenggunakanuji EDGE Building App. Aspek-aspek yang dievaluasi meliputi efisiensi energi, air, dan material. Pada pebelitian ini data primer dan sekunder diperoleh menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Data yang diperoleh dimodelkan dengan menggunakan EDGE Building App untuk menentukan rekomendasi desain. Hasil dari evaluasi desain ditemukan bahwa Gedung C Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Diponegoro belum memenuhi standar green building. Maka, diperlukan upaya untuk meningkatkan penghematan energi agar memenuhi kriteria greenbuildingpada EDGE Building App. Rekomendasi desain dapat meningkatkan efisiensi energi dan mengurangi biaya utilitas dengan investasi yang dapat kembali dalam 3,4 tahun.

Abstract:
The structure and design of traditional Balinese buildings are still great features, especially when it comes to keeping culture, society, and religion alive in old buildings. Research on building design structures still needs to be reported. This study aims to analyze the structure and design of traditional Balinese buildings in Banjar Cekeng, Sulahan Village, Bali. The mixed method study design was used to direct residents of Br Cekang to sekanem and Paon buildings. Data analysis is carried out descriptively. As a result, the traditional Balinese structure and design of the Sakanem and Paon (kitchen) in Banjar Cekeng meet SNI based on structural analysis. The findings show the strength of the structure for the beams and that the bale Sakanem and Paon horses have sufficient vertical rigidity to withhold the working boundary loads. Furthermore, at the lateral deviation of the Sakanem and Paon building structures, they have sufficient lateral rigidity to withstand the earthquake loads in the x and y directions. Maximum factored force analysis obtained the results of the structures of models 1 (Sakanem), consisting of column and beam structure components made of wooden material, and models 2 (Paon), with concrete column structure components, bamboo, and wooden beams. The nominal bending and sliding capacities of Sakanem and Paon beams are greater than the ultimate bending and sliding capacities. The combined capacity of bending and axial columns in Sakanem and Paon buildings is smaller than the bending and axial capacity of ultimate and practical columns in Paon buildings, not crossing the interaction boundary line.

Dibutuhkan pengetahuan mengenai desain bangunan yang mengedepankan teknik pasif, seperti Konsep Arsitektur Surya Pasif yang memperhatikan aspek pedinginan alami (kenyamanan termal) dan pencahayaan alami pada desainnya, penelitian ini bertujuan agar dapat diketahui hal-hal yang perlu dipertimbangkan dalam penerapan konsep arsitektur surya pasif sehingga harapan kedepan banyak bangunan di Indonesia yang dapat menerapkan desain surya pasif khususnya pada bangunan peribadatan masjid. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Knowledge is needed about building designs that prioritize passive techniques, such as the Passive Solar Architectural Concept which pays attention to natural cooling (thermal comfort) and natural lighting in its design, this study aims to find out what needs to be considered in applying the concept of passive solar architecture so that expectations in the future, many buildings in Indonesia can apply passive solar designs, especially in mosque worship buildings. This research was conducted using a qualitative descriptive method. Every aspect related to the research topic is explained in a descriptive manner and based on the truth of a theory regarding the application of Passive Solar Architecture design which takes into account the aspects of natural cooling (thermal comfort) and natural lighting which is applied through the design of the orientation of the building, the materials used and the elements. other building designs such as floors, walls, roofs, ceilings, and building accessories. This research was conducted in the worship building of the Raja Haji Fisabilillah Mosque in Malaysia. The results of this study, the Raja Haji Fisabilillah Mosque applied a passive solar design in its design. Passive solar aspects such as aspects of natural cooling (thermal comfort) and aspects of natural lighting are very much considered by the architect of this building.
