Confusion has surrounded the correct spelling of the species name of the labrid fish Cymolutes (=Coris) sandeyeri Hector 1884. In his original description, Hector (1884a) stated the specimen from Tiritiri Island was “collected by Mr. S. Sandeyer”, a misspelling of the surname of F.S. (Andreas Fremming Stewart) Sandager, who was then Assistant Lighthouse Keeper at Tiritiri Matangi Island, Hauraki Gulf, New Zealand, from June 1881 to May 1883 (Phillips 2011), and after whom the species was named.

La investigación consiste en el análisis de vulnerabilidad en las comunidades de Coris de Cartago y Tablón de El Guarco ante el impacto de los desastres. Estas comunidades se sitúan dentro de la microcuenca del río Purires en la provincia de Cartago, Costa Rica. La microcuenca del río Purires, se ubica en el extremo oriental de la región central de Costa Rica; abarca 76, 2 km² y forma parte de la sección alta de la cuenca del río Reventazón.La metodología utilizada se enmarca dentro del paradigma de la Investigación Cualitativa de Acción Participativa desde el enfoque de la educación no formal. El objetivo general de la investigación, se centró en analizar las amenazas y la vulnerabilidad a las que están expuestas las comunidades de Coris y Tablón. Para ello fue necesario desarrollar un plan de acción participativo comunitario, que buscó implementar las recomendaciones para mejorar la capacidad de respuesta de las comunidades ante el impacto de los desastres.Los resultados demostraron que en Coris se identificaron 18 amenazas, clasificadas en antrópicas, relacionadas con la contaminación ambiental, delincuencia y el vandalismo; socionaturales como deslizamientos y desbordamiento de ríos; y naturales, asociadas a sismos por fallamientos geológicos locales que afectan la microcuenca. En Tablón existen un total de 18 amenazas, clasificadas por su origen en socionaturales, de las cuales nueve corresponden a deslizamientos, seis a desbordamientos de ríos y una por erosión e inadecuadas prácticas de cultivo; una antrópica relacionada con el consumo de drogas y alcohol; y una natural asociada a sismos.Los escenarios de riesgo seleccionados en Tablón y Coris se agruparon por su nivel de aceptabilidad en inadmisibles e inaceptables, aceptables y tolerables con el fin de disminuir su condición mediante recomendaciones desde la perspectiva de la gestión del riesgo para la prevención de los desastres.Revista Ciencias Espaciales, Volumen 8, Número 1 Primavera, 2015; 231-259

Abstract:
The floral development of Coris was investigated to clarify its controversial relationship with either Primulaceae (Primulales) or Lythraceae (Myrtales). We demonstrate that Coris is strongly related to the Primulaceae but differs in a few important features, such as the presence of an epicalyx and partial zygomorphy. The saccate calyx and epicalyx with unilateral development encloses an actinomorphic flower. The stamen–petal tube has two sections that arise through three growth processes: a lower common part for stamens and petals and an upper section representing a fused corolla. The central ovule-bearing part of the ovary arises separated from the carpel wall. The formation of ridges with teethlike appendages between the ovules suggests a derivation of the free-central placentation from an axile arrangement. Several characters support the monotypic family Coridaceae near the Primulaceae. Abstract:
Objective: The aim of this in vitro study was to investigate the effect of hydrothermal aging on translucency parameter (TP) of different zirconia ceramics in different thicknesses. Material and Methods: This is an in-vitro study in which translucency of six pre-sintered and pre-shaded zirconia materials (In Coris ZI, In Coris TZI, Bruxzir Solid, KATANA HT, KATANA ST, and KATANA UT) was compared to a low-translucency, lithium disilicate glass-ceramic material (IPS e.max CAD LT, Ivoclar Vivadent). The ceramic blocks were cut in the form of plates of dimensions (14x10 mm) and of different thicknesses (0.5, 0.7,1 mm). Thirty specimens of each ceramic material were classified into three groups according to thickness (n=10) such that the total number of specimens is 210. After all zirconia specimens were sintered and lithium disilicate samples were crystallized, TP was determined using dental spectrophotometer VITA Easyshade Compact. Same procedure of translucency measurement was done again after samples were subjected to accelerated autoclave aging. Results: Paired-Samples T- Test showed that aging caused significant reduction in TP in all materials in all thicknesses. Moreover, there was statistical significant difference (P < 0.05) between different ceramic materials where e.max CAD LT showed the highest (TP) and In Coris ZI showed the lowest TP in all thickness groups. Conclusions: TP was both thickness and material dependent. TP was also affected by LTD.

More and more, global medicines and health product industries are turning their attention to developing countries such as Brazil, to carry out research in new health technology development. The practice of Clinical Trials in Brazil has been spreading since the 1990 s and besides scientific knowledge, this activity requires, in no less an important way, administrative knowledge, primarily strategic management of services and relationship with various stakeholders. Within this framework, the objective of this study is to analyze the process of strategic formulation of Coris Centro de Pesquisa Clínica. This study is characterized by qualitative approach, a case study, with descriptive and exploratory method, using primary and secondary data and with semi-structured scripted interviews. The results showed that the strategic formulation in Coris Centro de Pesquisa Clínica does not always occur in a deliberate and intentional way, it can occur in answer to necessities identified in the environment and in an emergent way. Furthermore, the results of the research reveal a great influence from stakeholders in the process of formulation and adaption of the clinical Trial organization strategy, directly influenced by these results
As indústrias globais de medicamentos e produtos para saúde têm cada vez mais voltado sua atenção para países em desenvolvimento, como o Brasil, para a realização de pesquisas de novas tecnologias para saúde. A prática de Pesquisa Clínica no Brasil vem se difundindo desde a década de 90 e tal atividade requer além de conhecimento científico, de forma não menos importante, o conhecimento administrativo, primando por uma gestão estratégica dos serviços, assim como pelo relacionamento com os diversos atores envolvidos no processo, os stakeholders. Cotejando este quadro, o objetivo desta pesquisa foi analisar o processo de formulação da estratégia do Coris Centro de Pesquisa Clínica. Este estudo caracteriza-se como de abordagem qualitativa, delineamento de estudo de caso, com método descritivo e exploratório, uso de dados primários e secundários e teve como técnica de investigação entrevistas com roteiro semi-estruturado. Os resultados demonstraram que a formulação da estratégia em um Centro de Pesquisa Clínica nem sempre ocorre de modo deliberado e intencional, podendo ocorrer em resposta às necessidades identificadas no ambiente e de modo emergente. Os resultados da pesquisa ainda revelaram a grande influência dos stakeholders no processo de formulação e adaptação da estratégica na organização, influenciando diretamente nos seus resultados

Abstract:
Determina la relación entre el patrón alimentario y la estacionalidad (de niños y niñas de 6 a 23 meses) de cinco caseríos del distrito de Coris, Áncash. Realiza un estudio cuantitativo, correlacional, transversal, observacional. Participan 40 niños y niñas de 6 a 23 meses de edad. Se aplican dos cuestionarios, uno sobre prácticas y otro sobre frecuencia de consumo de alimentos por estación. Las principales medidas de resultados son la frecuencia de consumo por grupo de alimentos según estación y las prácticas de consumo de alimentos según estación. Encuentra que el 43% de niños de 12-23 meses de edad tuvo una mayor frecuencia adecuada de consumo de huevo (3-4v/s) en las dos estaciones. El número de comidas consumidas adecuadamente (2- 3 comidas/día) en niños de 6-8 meses de edad fue más del 50% en las dos estaciones. Concluye que no se encontró relación de las variables patrón alimentario y estaciones de verano e invierno ya que el coeficiente de Spearman fue muy bajo (Rho=-0.037) y no significativo (p= 0.822). Por lo que se deduce que el patrón alimentario de verano fue similar al de invierno, pero si se encontró relación entre la frecuencia de consumo de huevos (Rho= 0.406 y p=0.09) y tubérculos (Rho= 0.327 y p=0.004), así como en la textura de preparación (Rho= 0.514 y p=0.001) en verano e invierno.

Abstract:
Le changement des propriétés de cisaillement de vortex est un des mécanismes plausibles pour l'avènement d'une résistance linéaire à la transition solide de vortex - liquide de vortex dans les supraconducteurs à haute température critique. Afin de mesurer directement la viscosité de cisaillement du liquide de vortex dans des monocristaux de Bi_{2}Sr_{2}CaCu_{2}O_{8}, des dispositifs imposant une géométrie confinée, sous la guise de couloirs étroits séparés par des parois à fort ancrage, sont façonnés par irradiation par des ions lourds de haute énergie. On montre par imagerie magnéto-optique que ces structures ont été fabriqués avec succès : les vortex se meuvent comme entités rectilinéaires continues d'une face à l'autre de l'échantillon. La viscosité de cisaillement peut alors être déduite directement à partir de la résistance électrique. L'étude présentée dans cette thèse se focalise sur des faibles champs magnétiques (de l'ordre de la centaine de Gauss). On voit que la divergence de la viscosité de cisaillement à l'approche de la transition vers le solide de vortex peut être aussi bien décrite par la théorie de Nelson et Halperin pour les systèmes de vortex en dimension 2, que par des lois de puissance, dérivées dans le cadre de modèles du verre de vortex. Ceci démontre que le ralentissement du mouvement plastique de vortex dans une géométrie confinée ("jamming") ressemble à une transition vitreuse, ceci en analogie avec des études récentes sur une transition solide-fluide induite par cisaillement dans les matières molles.

Este estudo teve como objetivo geral investigar a formação e a atuação de regentes corais junto a coros de empresa na cidade de Porto Alegre – RS. A investigação procurou responder às seguintes questões: que concepções os regentes têm sobre a prática do canto coral na empresa? Como atuam nesses ambientes? Na opinião dos regentes, que formação e que competências são necessárias para atuarem nesses contextos? Foram realizados dois estudos de caso, tendo como participantes dois regentes de coros de empresa. As técnicas de pesquisa utilizadas foram a entrevista guiada ou focalizada e a observação participada. O referencial teórico fundamenta-se nos conceitos de formação profissional: Le Boterf (2003), Ramalho, Nuñez e Gauthier (2004) e de lazer: Parker (1978), Elias (1992), Dumazedier (1994;1999) e Marcellino (2003). O método de pesquisa empregado foi o estudo multicaso, com abordagem qualitativa. A compreensão dos contextos estudados e de como o ambiente da empresa traz implicações sobre o trabalho dos regentes evidencia a necessidade de se aprofundar as reflexões acerca da formação profissional inicial, levando-se em conta os diferentes campos de atuação.

Etant petit, j'étais hypnotisé à la vue du corps de ma grand-mère, une très belle femme berbère, grande, grosse et tatouée. Je passais des heures à contempler son corps et à admirer ses signes qui mouvaient dans une harmonieuse chorégraphie. Des signes qui voilent le corps et que le corps voile en fonction des différentes positions qu'il épouse. Des images gravées en ma mémoire que j'aimerais partager avec vous. Cette recherche pratique et théorique prend naissance à partir du désir de représentation d'une grand- mère berbère tatouée. Elle sera, comme son nom l'indique, prétexte pour parler de tatouages et plus particulièrement de ceux des berbères nord-africain, de parler de corps, le corps-auteur (de l'artiste ou du tatoueur) et le corps-support (celui de l'oeuvre ou de la tatouée), puis enfin de voilement et de dévoilement. Ce serait deux termes relatifs à l'acte de peindre, de tatouer, de tracer des signes sur un support afin de le cacher ou peut-être, pour mieux le montrer. Ce travail se propose de trouver une parenté entre la pratique contemporaine de son auteur et la pratique des tatouages berbères. Il se compose de trois parties. La première partie est poiétique, elle exprime trois rapports différents qui unissent tatoueur et tatoué, l'artiste et son oeuvre. La deuxième partie est de nature documentaire, elle renseigne sur la nature des signes tatoués, les classe, les nomme et les compare à d'autres signes. La dernière partie est de nature esthétique, elle relève de l' incarnat et de la question des origines qui se pose dans cette pratique plastique.

Galien de Pergame, médecin et philosophe grec du IIe siècle de notre ère, approfondit la critique des athlètes inaugurée à l’époque classique, notamment par Hippocrate, mais la sévérité de son jugement à l’égard des compétiteurs professionnels est compensée par une reconsidération pratique et théorique de la réalité sportive.Le corpus galénique permet en effet de dresser un tableau diagnostique complet des dérèglements sanitaires auxquels s’exposent les sportifs amateurs et, plus encore, les athlètes, dont l’activité et le statut se trouvent ébranlés jusque dans leurs fondements : mauvaise santé, procès généralisé et subversion générique viennent ainsi ternir l’image du sport antique.Toutefois, Galien procède en même temps à une réhabilitation du sport, dont il fait un instrument performant pour garantir le succès de son action et de sa pensée. La réconciliation de l’exercice physique et de la santé représente la première étape d’une revalorisation qui se manifeste également sur le plan théorique, non seulement à l’intérieur de l’argumentation médicale, mais aussi dans les rapprochements que Galien établit entre le sport et sa propre activité de médecin philosophe
The physician and philosopher Galen of Pergamon (2nd century AC) criticizes athletes, even more strongly than Hippocrates and other intellectuals of the classical period did. But this denunciation is counterbalanced by another point of vue: sport is reappraised in a practical and theoretical way.On the one hand, Galen makes a diagnosis of all disorders that might affect amateur and, most of all, professional athletes. As a consequence, sportsmen involved in competitions are deeply depreciated. Physical activity is considered as producing bad health and, for many other reasons, it is the target of a general condemnation. In particular, the human nature of athletes comes into question.On the other hand, Galen rehabilitates sport as a usefull activity that is beneficial for health and indirectly for the intellect: physical exercise plays a role in the development of the medical argumentation and parallels can be drawn between sport and Galen’s activity both as a physician and as a philosopher

This research, emanating from the field of the Human Sciences in sciences of education, uses the hermeneutic approach in a movement where the biographic process allows the nurse to be seen in the narrative of the interviews, and to observe the nurse, as caregiver in a body-to-body relation with the patients. This thought concerns the paradox of the nurse body in her/his activity inside the places of care including general-purpose reanimation, adult psychiatry and geriatrics. Therefore, this thesis, taking its theoretical roots from the concept of biographisation, will attempt to show how the complexities and the paradoxes of the human body physical presence enable the observation of that which this unspoken by the nurse who becomes a professional caregiver

Le travail de recherche en Arts Plastiques propose de questionner et d’expliciter le processus qui conduit de l’expérience de la maladie à celle de la création. Comment le geste créateur se trouve-t-il activé, transformé par la maladie ? Le travail plastique articulé à l’écriture, tente de vérifier l’hypothèse suivante : c’est à travers le processus de fragmentation (Heinz Kohut), de rassemblement (Anne-Sophie Le Poder) et de réparation (Jeanine Chasseguet-Smirgel) que le corps, devenu créateur, se dépasse tout en reprenant chair, devient autre, traversé par ses propres peurs et douleurs, réparé ou reconstruit par leur passage. La première partie (fragmentation), qui interroge la notion d’espace, analyse des œuvres de Louise Bourgeois et Yayoï Kusama. La fragmentation du corps et sa représentation permettent-elles de figurer la manière dont l’expérience de la maladie s’incarne, s’incorpore dans la création, sans pour autant l’illustrer ? La seconde partie explore le rassemblement comme geste de conciliation avec le corps. Dans le travail de Mona Hatoum, Chiharu Shiota, ou Niki de Saint Phalle, comment le geste de rassemblement devient-il un sang qui soude (Agamben), tout en mettant à l’épreuve du regard la faille du temps ? Dans la troisième partie (réparation), la réflexion se poursuit avec les œuvres de Rebecca Horn, Berlinde de Bruyckere, et la pièce chorégraphique Körper de Sasha Waltz. Sont développées les questions de la mémoire, et de l’altérité dans le processus qui lie corps malade et corps créateur. Dans la singularité de leur plasticité, les matériaux deviennent des lieux pour réécrire le corps dans son expérience de la douleur, sans pour autant la figurer
The research in Arts suggests questioning and clarifying the process from the illness experience to creation. How is the creative gesture activated, transformed by the illness? The plastic work associated with the writing tries to verify the following hypothesis: it’s through the process of fragmentation (Heinz Kohut), of gathering (Anne-Sophie Le Poder) and mending (Jeanine Chasseguet-Smirgel) that the body, now a creator, surpasses itself while resuming flesh, turns itself into something different, through its own fear and pain, repaired or reconstructed by their passage. The first part (fragmentation), whith the notion of space, analyses Louise Bourgeois and Yayoï Kusama’s works. Abstract:
Entrée dans la situation de maladie organique atteignant fondamentalement et imperceptiblement l'intérieur du corps et verbalisation de cette expérience. Le cancer du sein se manifeste d'abord non sur le corps sensible relationnel mais sur le corps biologique silencieux diagnostique comme porteur d'un processus dynamique interne qui s'inscrira de facon sensible et destructrice sur l'enveloppe corporelle. La médecine cellulaire instrumentale modifie le concept de sujet malade habituellement défini comme vivant une rupture d'un équilibre biologique à l'origine de modifications sensorielles influençant la repartition de l'énergie libidinale. Liée a un type de médecine clinique, cette définition traduit aussi une représentation signifiante : celle d'un sujet en communication sensible avec son corps à la physiologie interactive car produisant des effets aussi sur les autres, permettant leur verbalisation. La révélation d'une maladie à sa phase non douloureuse fait intervenir non le sujet, unité psychosomatique, mais le corps biologique dangereusement inquiétant car imperceptible. Clivage entre espace somatique et espace psychique du a la non-transposition des perceptions en sensations; clivage aussi entre environnement et corps ne possédant plus une fonction médiatrice symbolique. Dimension que le patient retrouvera notamment dans une production symbolique à partir des signes corporels (. . . )
Modalities of entering into a situation of organic illness, touching fondamentally and imperceptably the interior of the body and of verbalising this experience. Breast cancer does not appear at first on the sensitive relational body but on the biological, silent body diagnosed as carrier of a dynamic internal process, which will register in a sensitive and destructive manner on the body envelope. Cellular instrumental medecine modifies the concept of the sick subject, usually defined as experiencing a rupture of biological balance, leading towards sensorial modifications influencing the repartition of the libinal energy. Associated with a type of clinical medecine, this definition also reveals a significant representation : that of a subject in sensitive communication with his physiologically interactive body, as also producing effects or the environment, thus enabling their verbalisation. The revelation of an illness in its non-painful stage does not implicate the subject the psychosomatic unit, but the biological body, dangerously uneasy because imperceptible. Cleaving between the somatic and the psychical space, due to non-transposition of perceptions into sensations; cleaving also between environment and body, which no longer has a symbolic mediative fonction. A dimension which the patient will find particularly in a symbolic production from corporal signs
