"The study proposes a rereading of the Romanian poetry written during Communist regime, in order to see how practices of derision are used in a subversive manner in relation to political power and the realities of that era. <p class="ABSTRACT">The transition period of the Umayyad dynasty to the Abbasid dynasty occurred in a span of 100 years. Russian rock poets focus on Dostoevsky’s novel Crime and Punishment and its characters: the old woman pawnbroker, Svidrigailov and Raskolnikov.
