Abstract:
The aftermath of the pandemic in 2020 shocked the country’s economy, but at the same time, the desire to keep the business allowed, in record time, to completely rebuild the usual patterns of behavior in the implementation of business processes across all sectors of the economy. The inability to go to work, solve everyday issues, carry out a commodity-money exchange, allowed the remote service model to burst so rapidly. The construction of a mechanism for the formation of work on the basis of electronic platforms, software products, Internet sources made it possible to form a single development trend - digitalization. This process is inextricably linked with the Internet, the digitization of the actions of all market participants. In this article, using the banking sector as an example, the main problems of modern digital services are considered, based on which the main directions of innovation are put forward, as well as promising areas of investment are substantiated.

Abstract:
At the current stage of the development of the world economy, the relevance of digital transformation under the conditions of increased international competition both at the level of individual businesses and at the level of entire sectors of the economy forms a growing interest in the problems and prospects that become possible within the framework of the digital economy. The world is gradually moving to a digital format in the development of information and communication technologies. The penetration of digitalization in different countries differs in the degree of influence on economic development and the variety of business schemes. Digitization allows not only the improvement of existing business models and changes in business processes but also the significant boost of business and new competitive advantages. The digital transformation of international business significantly contributes to sustainable economic growth, increasing the competitiveness of primary industries and innovative sectors of the economy. Digital technologies allow business entities to automate simpler processes and eliminate intermediate stages in more complex processes, thanks to which the flexibility of companies is significantly increased, and they can now use their resources much more efficiently. Digital technologies are even becoming mandatory for many businesses operating in today's competitive environment, significantly saving time and avoiding unnecessary costs. Digital transformation is becoming integral to modern business, growing from a concept to an essential strategic component. This process covers implementing modern digital technologies and changing the organization's business processes and cultural aspects to improve the company's efficiency, innovation, and competitiveness. However, digital transformation also presents its challenges. The need for changes in organizational culture, training employees in new technologies, implementing data privacy, the impact and politics of social inequalities, accounting for changes in the labor market, and cyber security risks require attention and resources. Digital transformation is not only the introduction of technologies but also a change in thinking and approaches to business. It allows companies to become more efficient, innovative, and adaptive, a critical factor for successful competition today. Keywords: digitization, security, technology, business, transformation.

Abstract:
Digitalization is changing the global business ecosystem at an unimaginable speed. Although previous industrial revolutions took dozens of years to transform the existing markets, internet-based companies like Google, Amazon and Uber have done it in less than ten years. Business models in the nearest future – how will they look like? Where will the extensive process of the fourth industrial revolution take us? How will our role as entrepreneurs, managers or consumers change in the new business ecosystem? In this paper we consider the changes concerning the process of digitalization as the main prerequisites for transformation of business models. We combine them into three main aspects that influence modern business modeling approaches: technological, social and economic. This prospective gives insight into the way the future business models will look like and leads us to practical recommendations for companies to follow when digitizing their business.

Abstract:
As a result of the study, the concept of digitalization of a business organization is defined as a set of tools, the process of adding digital technologies to physical space and transferring information into a digital format to improve the efficiency and increase the profit of a business organization. Digitalization is a process and a tool, not the ultimate goal, and it should improve the interaction between people and technology. Digitalization has been classified into two types: process digitalization and product digitalization. Process digitalization is the classic understanding of this term in the context of business processes, and product digitalization is the additions of digital technologies to an existing product to improve it. Any type of digitalization should lead to an increase in the profit of a business organization directly or indirectly because this is one of the most important goals of any business. Digitalization tools have been defined as digital technologies and methods of their implementation in business processes or additions to products. Examples of such tools have been provided. It has been determined that one of the most important tools of digitization is digital data management. Digital data management includes digitization as one of the first stages and may include the use of CRM systems, cloud technologies and artificial intelligence. The use of these tools is possible not only in the context of data management, but as a method of creating a digital infrastructure or making decisions. The advantages of using various digitalization tools have been determined. Digital data management (including CRM systems, cloud technologies and artificial intelligence in this context) gives the ability to store, analyse and use large volumes of data, allows quick and easy access to information, reliability, and confidentiality, ensuring statistics, etc. Also, the use of digitalization tools allows improving interaction with consumers and creating a comfortable and efficient infrastructure both within the company and for consumers. Other digitalization tools have been listed: mobile technologies, ERP systems, automation, robots, IoT platforms, and GPS systems. It has been found that all these tools can be used to digitize the process, and only artificial intelligence GPS, and cloud technologies can be used to digitize the product.

Increased  digitalization  has  influenced  various  business  activities  including companies’ business Models (BMs) by enabling various new forms of cooperation between companies and leading to new product and service offerings as well as new forms of company relationships with customers and employees. At the same time, this digitalization has put pressure on companies to reflect on their current strategy and explore new business opportunities systematically and at early stages. While research on digitalization in the context of BMs is now gaining increased attention, a  research  gap  still  exists  in  this  field  since  the  number  of  empirical  insights  is limited. The article examines the issues of digitalization of rural entrepreneurship, as well as its potential for the survival and growth of entrepreneurship in rural industry. Digitalization of business is an issue of interest to both large and small businesses today, however, digitalization processes are weak in the rural entrepreneurship sector, and digital technologies are not used enough for business purposes. At the same time, today in Russia there are many opportunities for entrepreneurs in the digital environment in terms of government support, reporting, business process management and others, and these opportunities are expanding annually, allowing entrepreneurs to grow their business in difficult economic conditions. In conditions caused, on the one hand, by a decrease in the overall economic activity of business entities, and on the other hand, by the opening of new business opportunities in the agro–industrial complex, including with state support, rural entrepreneurs are forced to increase their own digital competencies, contributing to the development of digitalization in the rural business environment.

Abstract:
Abstract Enterprise Resource Planning systems (ERP systems) represent integrated IT systems that have the role of incorporating a series of modules and functions necessary for the development of the organization's activity. The digitalization process took off about ten years ago, when more and more organizations were looking for IT solutions to make their activities more efficient. The need arose as a result of the large volume of information that had to be processed daily and for which the time allocated for solving these tasks was much too large. The current work aims to analyze the digitalization method of the business using integrated ERP systems, based on the bibliometric analysis of the processed information from the specialized literature. The bibliometric analysis is based on a statistical (quantitative) analysis of written publications that address the two key concepts: ERP systems and business digitalization. Bibliometrics aims to "count" the scientific publications or the authors who wrote about the two concepts. The obtained results show that ERP systems can represent a source for digitalizing the processes of a business, integrating the organization's activity in ERP systems with the help of modules that can be implemented. ERP system modules can be implemented for each department, integrating all processed information in a single database common to all departments, access to sensitive information being controlled by each category of users. The digitalization process offers the possibility of the organization to develop sustainably, thus being able to obtain a series of financial advantages as a result of the implementation of a sustainable plan at the level of the organization.

Abstract:
We are now in a new era of business management, where companies have understood that the sustainability and survival of their activities is based on mastering and adapting new technologies to their strategies. The result of the integration of technological power in the management of companies gives rise to digitalization that disrupts business strategies, contributing significantly to the creation of new business models. This profoundly affected the strategic context; changing the structure of competition, business conduct, and ultimately, performance across industries. This paper is a descriptive literature review of recent works discussing the impact digitalization has had on business. In this work, firstly, a theoretical overview of digitalization and its development is presented. Afterwards, the digitalization of business as well as its impact is discussed. The result of this review is a summary of the advantages and disadvantages that digitalization brings to businesses.

Abstract:
Digital transformation is changing how an organization uses technology, enterprise, processes, and people to improve performance and adopt a new business model. Digital transformation drives value through shared industry information and insights. However, several limitations, such as differences in culture and perspective between owners and management, impede the implementation of this digitalization. Harmonization is needed to keep the changes from getting out of hand because the digitization process is affected not only by sales, marketing, and finance processes but also by the culture of digitization. This study investigates the impact of digital organizational culture, digital capabilities, digital technology, and digital transformation strategy on the performance of family businesses. The research design is a quantitative study with structural equation modeling. The population in this study cannot be determined due to limited access to the association. The sample size was calculated using the G-Power calculator with an effect size of 0.15, an alpha level of 0.05, and a power of 0.80. According to the calculation, there are 43 respondents in the study. The sampling technique is convenient sampling. The survey was distributed online using questionnaires sent via email. The data analysis software is Smart PLS 4.0.8.5. The result shows that the organization's culture plays a big part in improving performance. The organization's culture strongly affects business digitization and technology value development. The value of developed technology affects business performance. Therefore, the top management needs to prioritize the IT development that transforms their business and improves business performance

Abstract:
Global digitalization has led to the formation of a new contour of the economic environment in tourism due to the inevitable and pervasive transformation of socio-economic systems. All this is happening against the background of the synergy of digital and service economies. Therefore, the study analyzes the genesis and world experience of digitalization to determine the areas and advantages of using digital technologies in the tourism business of Ukraine. Systematization, generalization, and surveying were used. Since the main players of the tourism business are tour operators and hotels, and digital technologies are used by entities located in big cities, a survey was conducted among 57 managers of leading tour operators and hotels in Kyiv, Lviv, Kharkiv, and Odesa. The survey was conducted in July 2020–2021 and concerned digital technologies in the business processes. The results showed a dynamic increase in digital technologies, in particular, by an average of 72.2% per year, which reflects their efficiency and dynamics. The leading digital technologies include contactless payments, chatbots, mobile applications, mobile registration, and VR technologies. The data on their 34.6% use as sources of information search, 78.7% as travel planning and organization instruments, and 59.5% as destination orientation instruments are evidence of the large-scale use of digital technologies by foreign tourists. The essence of marketing, economic, innovation, environmental, service, and configuration priorities of digitalization as interdependent drivers for the initiation of the innovation process in tourism has been determined considering the uneven development and fluctuating dynamics of digital technologies. Abstract:
Digitization, with its profound impact on business, manifests itself in increased efficiency, innovation and competitiveness. This transformation process requires comprehensive readiness assessments and improvement plans. Digitization is essential in driving value creation, operational efficiency and driving innovation, thereby shaping sustainable business practices. The adoption of digital technologies is essential for strengthening economic performance, mitigating the impact on the environment and promoting societal sustainability goals. This research proposes to analyse the ramifications of digitization in the field of sustainable business. Its main objective is to analyse how digital technologies have influenced and shaped businesses that adopt economic, social and environmental sustainability. To achieve this objective, a methodological review, based on academic research articles, was undertaken to elucidate how the conceptualization of digitization as a catalyst for changing sustainable business paradigms has evolved. This effort involved delineating digital technologies, discerning prevailing trends, and identifying best practices to drive sustainability goals within business operations. In addition, the review encapsulated the challenges and risks inherent in digitization in relation to sustainable business, encompassing concerns such as cyber security, regulatory compliance and ethical considerations. Finally, the research provided a forecast of the digital trajectory of sustainable business, highlighting emerging trends and potential development trajectories. The research findings underscore the imperative for sustainable businesses to adopt a strategic and meticulously planned approach. This involves investing in robust cyber security measures, upskilling the workforce in digital skills, conscientiously assessing the environmental footprint of technology and formulating robust ethical frameworks. By deftly navigating these challenges, businesses can optimize the dividends of digitization while maintaining their commitment to sustainability. While certain sustainable solutions may demonstrate effectiveness on a smaller scale, their scalability is essential to making a substantial impact on sustainability goals. Addressing the scalability issue requires concerted efforts by government bodies, businesses, communities and individuals, augmented by investments in education, technology and research. These innovative efforts hold promise for addressing global challenges such as climate change, biodiversity loss and socio-economic disparities, while fostering economic prosperity and societal well-being. As businesses delve deeper into the realms of digitization, the concomitant risks associated with data security and privacy escalate proportionately. Therefore, adopting strict cyber security protocols becomes of paramount importance. In conclusion, the digital frontier of sustainable business presents fertile ground for innovation and expansion. Combining digital talent with sustainability imperatives can generate business models that not only thrive economically, but also contribute significantly to social well-being and environmental conservation

Abstract:
Digitalization is incrementally transforming business practices, particularly in sales and digital marketing, although the factors motivating entrepreneurs to adopt digital technologies in sales strategies remain underexplored. Consequently, the aim of our research is to identify the factors that influence the use of digital technologies in sales. This research elucidates the interplay between demographics and entrepreneurial motivations, utilizing data from the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor, involving 464 entrepreneurs in Slovenia and Croatia, analyzed through logistic regression. Notably, demographic factors, including gender, age, and education, do not significantly influence digitalization adoption in sales strategies. Among entrepreneurial motives, only the aspiration “to make a difference in the world” propels entrepreneurs towards considering digital sales approaches, while other motivations do not have a significant influence. Despite extensive studies on demographic factors influencing digital technology adoption, a consistent trend is conspicuously absent, necessitating an intricate examination of various dimensions of digital business transformation. Furthermore, our findings underscore that, while digitalization is acclaimed for enhancing companies’ profitability, entrepreneurs motivated by altruistic goals demonstrate a pronounced proclivity to integrate digitalization into sales, signifying that digitalization’s pragmatic utility extends beyond merely amplifying profitability and growth, insinuating a more integrative role in sculpting sustainable entrepreneurial practices and business models.

Abstract:
The ultimate aims of the research are to identify, on the basis of a systematic analysis, the peculiarities of digitalization of the processes of establishing business entities in Ukraine, to structure the relevant totality of organizational and managerial actions in the context of the actual state and potential of their digitalization, to develop a methodology for quantifying the degree of digitalization in the business establishment procedure and assess the impact of its individual organizational components on the final integrated indicator of digitalization. In modern research, significant attention is directed towards the digitalization of economic activities. The article proves the importance of systematically structuring the processes involved in establishing business entities to determine the extent of their digitalization. Such an approach enables the identification of components within the business establishment process that hold promise for digital transformation, representing a crucial factor in enhancing the efficiency of both the business sector and state regulatory institutions. The article provides a comparative analysis of the digitalization processes involved in establishing businesses in the “individual entrepreneur” and “Limited Liability Company” formats. This comparison enabled the identification of specific dependencies regarding the degree of digitalization within the establishment process based on the organizational and legal structure of the business being established. Methodical approaches for quantifying the degree of digitalization in the processes of establishing business entities were proposed. The article presents a structure for the processes of establishing business entities in Ukraine, which consists of six stages. Within each stage, corresponding sets of organizational actions are outlined, distinguishing between digital and non-digital forms. The potential for transforming non-digital organizational actions into digital ones was also identified. A methodology for expert evaluation of the weighting coefficients of the importance of individual components (organizational actions) of the overall process of business establishment was proposed. Based on the application of this methodology, quantitative parameters for assessing the strength of the impact of individual organizational actions on the overall level of digitalization of the process of establishing business entities were suggested. The article also justifies the priority directions for further digitalization of the process of establishing business entities in Ukraine. The key actors in implementing these directions are both the founders of business entities and managers, as well as the relevant state bodies. The article introduces indicators of the average and marginal propensity of founders to digitalize organizational actions when establishing business entities. The indicator of the marginal propensity for digitalization is essential for evaluating the dynamics of digitalization in the processes of establishing business entities. Its utilization enables the determination of how the overall level of digitalization in the business establishment process will change due to the transformation of another “traditional” organizational action into a digital format. The article calculates the actual degree of digitalization of the processes of establishing business entities in Ukraine on the examples of “individual entrepreneur” and “Limited Liability Company”. A methodology was developed and calculations were conducted to assess the potential for its enhancement through further digitalization of a certain totality of organizational actions.

Abstract:
Introduction. Increasing competition between banks requires the introduction of banking products with a new service and economic design, based on modern software, technology and information platforms. Problem. Digitalization is becoming a key trend in conducting business for banks and their corporate clients. The aim of the study is to cluster banks by the level of digitalization and determine the relationship between it and indicators of market power, financial performance and credit risk. Methods. Input normalized indicators for 32 banks of Ukraine, determined using the MINIMAX methodology, were used. The study was based on correlation-regression and cluster analysis. Results. The information base for calculating the digitalization index for banks in the focus group was chosen based on the number of: the number of visitors to banks’ websites, registered users of banks’ mobile applications (including for legal entities and individuals), branded online inquiries, banking self-service devices, subscribers of banks in social media networks. When determining the level of digitalization in corporate business, only two indicators were used: the number of registered legal entities that use mobile bank applications and the number of brand-name online searches for each of them. Three hypotheses were put forward and their empirical verification was carried out, according to the results of which it was established that there is a moderate correlation between the digitalization index and the credit risk indicator and a low correlation between the digitalization index and indicators of financial performance and market power. Among the financial indicators a noticeable correlation was found only between the level of the interest margin and the level of digitalization. Conclusions. For most of the banks in the focus group, a low level of digitalization is inherent in the corporate business. It is proposed to develop a strategy for the development of the corporate business of banks on a new technological platform, which will make it possible to extend digitalization processes not only to typical, but also to exclusive financial services provided to corporate clients, taking into account their individual service.

Purpose Increased digitalization has influenced various business activities including companies’ business models (BMs) by enabling various new forms of cooperation between companies and leading to new product and service offerings as well as new forms of company relationships with customers and employees. At the same time, this digitalization has put pressure on companies to reflect on their current strategy and explore new business opportunities systematically and at early stages. While research on digitalization in the context of BMs is now gaining increased attention, a research gap still exists in this field since the number of empirical insights is limited. The paper aims to discuss these issues. Design/methodology/approach Qualitative empirical data collected from 12 key informants working in two distinctive industries, the media and automotive industries, were collected. An investigation was carried out to examine the differences and similarities among how digitalization influences a company’s value creation, proposition and capture, as well as how firms cope with challenges presented by increased digitalization. Findings The findings of the study show that, whilst digitalization is generally considered to be important, the value proposition itself as also the position in the value network determine the perceived available options for business model innovation (BMI) by digitalization. Moreover, the organizational capacities and employee competences were identified as future challenges that will be faced by both industries. Originality/value The findings of this study have revealed that representatives of the media and automotive industries perceive both the pressures and opportunities of digitalization regarding BMI; its application and exploitation, however, remain challenging. This study contributes to the existing body of knowledge by providing empirical insights in the context of digitalization and BMI.

Abstract:
Despite decades of research and development, digitalization remains a key challenge for the Swedish district heating sector. Business model innovation is believed to be necessary to capitalize on digitalization, yet it is especially challenging for municipal companies. This study aims to identify the potential impact of digitalization on the business models of Swedish district heating companies and to analyze the barriers that exist for digital business model innovation. Through case studies of eight municipal district heating companies, this study demonstrates how the entire business model is potentially impacted by digitalization. This study also identifies the barriers to digital business model innovation that are linked to two conflicting views (restrictive versus comprehensive) on digitalization. The restrictive view diminishes the importance of business model innovation, outsourcing innovation to minimize both costs and risks for the company. In contrast, the comprehensive view embraces digital business model innovation through trial-and-error and opens the innovation process to stakeholder influence. These two perspectives are motivated by different beliefs about the need for digitalization to secure future business opportunities, as well as differences in owners’ risk appetite. The implications for industry outlooks and the design of policy support for the digitalization of district heating are discussed.

Abstract:
Digitalization has become a key driver of business innovation in recent years. It provides businesses with new opportunities to innovate and create value. Digital technologies, such as cloud computing, big data analytics, and artificial intelligence, have helped businesses boost the development of new products and services, optimize their operations, and improve customer engagement. This study aimed to analyze the impact of digitalization on business performance within business innovation. This study applied an ordinary least square regression model and an intermediary to explore relationship in the chain of digital capability–business model innovation–company performance. The object of investigation was 1663 listed A-share companies Shanghai and Shenzhen in the software and information technology service sectors. The results showed that digital capabilities could be divided into three dimensions according to the hierarchical relationship: (1) basic digital capabilities, (2) digital operation capabilities, and (3) digital integration capabilities, all of which significantly positively affected enterprise performance. Furthermore, while business model innovation significantly positively affected corporate performance, it was also driven by the preceding variables of digital capabilities. Business model innovation enhanced the positive impact of basic digital capabilities, digital operation capabilities, and digital integration capabilities on company’s performance. Considering the empirical results, this study underlines that the government should promote digital skills development, create supportive regulatory environments, promote access to funding for innovations, foster partnerships between businesses and technology providers, and promote collaboration between businesses, which are conducive to extending digitalization within the business innovation model and improving business performance.

Abstract:
The article is devoted to the study of the organization of business processes in enterprises in the context of digitalization, which is especially important in the modern realities of the world. The subject of the study are the business processes themselves, namely such yoga as the main, auxiliary, business management processes and business development processes. The object of the article is the processes of digitalization, its components and the main directions of implementation in the activities of enterprises. The purpose of the article is to identify trends in the development and organization of business processes of economic entities, using modern tools for organizing the process, and directly to digitization. Various aspects of perception of the digitalization process are considered, consideration of the possible identification of such concepts as "digitalization", "digital transformation" and "digitalization". Thus, it is directly stated that the transition to a digital environment involves such a comprehensive and large-scale phenomenon that affects all aspects of the business organization, as "digital transformation". The components of digitalization of business processes of the enterprise, which consist of certain procedures and areas of implementation. Thus, the procedures include document management, data analysis, organization of activities, and areas of digitalization are production processes, control of work and product quality, logistics, value added, communication policy. The paper presents a logical-structural diagram of the technology of organizing business processes in terms of digitalization of the enterprise. With the help of this technology, enterprises have significant advantages, namely: quick access to databases on customers of the enterprise, type of economic activity; proper use of available resources of such data and potential of forecasting modeling; quickly and accurately predict trends and respond to market challenges. Despite the rather significant positive changes in the field of digitalization of enterprises, there are a number of unresolved issues that can be solved through digital tools.

Abstract:
THE PURPOSE OF THE ARTICLE is to study theoretical approaches to the formation of business processes in the field of information technology in the context of digitalization. RESEARCH METHODS. The following methods were used in the article: SWOT-analysis; PESTLE-analysis; benchmarking; market and competitor research; data analysis and BI (Business Intelligence); project management; analysis and synthesis, graphical and tabular methods. PRESENTING MAIN MATERIAL. Modern development of society, digitalization of the economy, globalization and digitalization of economic processes determine fundamentally new approaches to the formation of business processes in the field of information technology in the context of digitalization. The formation of business processes in the IT sector is determined by the rapid pace of digitalization and its impact on all aspects of modern enterprises. Digitalization is a key factor in achieving competitive advantages in the global market, as it allows optimizing business processes, automating business operations, improving communication and data-driven decision-making. The role of business processes in the context of digitalization is to increase the efficiency and speed of enterprises, which allows them to respond quickly to new challenges, minimize costs and improve the quality of products and services. In the context of IT enterprises, digitalization not only accelerates processes but also radically changes the very nature of business, forcing enterprises to adapt their models, strategies, and business processes. The study of theoretical approaches to the formation of business processes in the context of digital transformation has shown that the main approaches are: classical approaches (process-oriented, Input-Output model, Project-Based Approach); modern approaches (Agile methodologies, Lean Management, DevOps). The following features of IT business processes were identified: dynamism and flexibility; innovation; project-oriented structure. The following tools are used to model and optimize business processes in the IT sector in the context of digitalization: BPMN; ERP systems; project management tools. It is proved that business processes in the IT sector cannot function without a synergistic combination of the main components of digitalization: automation, integration, analytics, flexibility and adaptability, artificial intelligence, cloud technologies. CONCLUSIONS. It is established that the digitalization of IT enterprises provides new opportunities for optimizing business processes and achieving competitive advantages. It is proved that the introduction of digital technologies contributes to the automation, integration, efficiency and flexibility of business processes. It is determined that IT enterprises should actively use innovative approaches to adapt to the latest market conditions, taking into account theoretical variations and functional aspects of digitalization. It is proved that the formation of business processes in the IT sector requires taking into account theoretical and practical aspects, where classical approaches (process-oriented, project approach) remain basic, and modern approaches (Agile, Lean and DevOps) open up new opportunities for optimizing processes and increasing their efficiency. It has been established that technological innovations, in particular artificial intelligence and cloud solutions, play a synergistic role in transforming business processes in the IT sector, helping enterprises to remain competitive in the face of rapid change and globalization. Abstract:
The article describes the tasks of the influence of digitalization on the productivity of domestic business innovations, that is, the application of digital technologies in different aspects of the business model. The key consequences of digitalization for business are determined: digitalization expands the scope of entrepreneurial opportunities, blurring different boundaries (surrounding products and services; defining industry sectors; which themselves define entrepreneurial opportunities); with digitalization, system products are becoming more and more modular, partly due to the general modularity of the product inherent in the combination of digital technologies. A theoretical model of digitalization of domestic business innovations has been developed and empirically verified, which provides for the proof of four hypotheses: M1 – wider application of digital technologies in business, which is associated with an increased tendency to experiment with innovations; M2 – increasing the intensity of experiments with business models associated with the best business indicators, taking into account that business efficiency will be the main goal of its activity and the tendency to focus on stakeholders in business, thanks to which innovative enterprises are created; M4 – the impact of the introduction of digital technologies on business efficiency and sustainability is partially mediated by the impact of the introduction of digital technologies on business innovation. We propose to test the effectiveness of the theoretical model by conducting a questionnaire interview consisting of five sections: 1) the history of the business and the entrepreneur; 2) business description; 3) business model and digitization; 4) stability indicators; 5) business performance. Hypotheses were tested using structural equation modeling using the "sem" command in Stata 12. Our analysis makes several important contributions to economic science. First, it is one of the relatively few studies to identify the links between digital technologies and business innovation, as well as performance and sustainability. The evidence provided in this study should inform the development of entrepreneurship and digitization policies. Secondly, the impact of digitalization on the effectiveness of domestic business has been proven. Third, we offer a theoretically grounded account of how and why digitalization should affect new business performance, thereby illuminating the mechanics of this important dynamic. Fourth, we introduce new and improved operational capabilities for business model experimentation, digital adoption of business models, and performance sustainability, facilitating further data collection in this area.
