Abstract:
The article is devoted to the development of quality system documents for the pharmacy organization. The legislation of the Republic of Belarus, as well as the Eurasian Economic Union, requires the development and maintenance of the quality assurance system, the quality management system, the pharmaceutical quality system in a pharmacy organization, a distributor or manufacturer of medicinal products. The article presents the comparative analysis of regulatory requirements as well as approaches of the international standards ISO series to the construction of the quality systems and processes documentation. Such documents as the Quality Manual or its equivalent, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Process Instructions are the most difficult to develop. The distribution of responsibility for processes within the organization is difficult to understand. On the example of RUE «BELPHARMATSIYA» it is shown how the processes in the pharmacy organization can be documented and responsibility for their implementation can be stated. The functioning of the quality system depends on the clarity of the documentation structure and its development and circulation organization. It is the responsibility of the organization authorities to maintain effective functioning of this system.

Abstract:
The success of an application programming interface (API) crucially depends on how well its documentation meets the information needs of software developers. Previous research suggests that these information needs have not been sufficiently understood. This article presents the results of a series of semistructured interviews and a follow-up questionnaire conducted to explore the learning goals and learning strategies of software developers, the information resources they turn to and the quality criteria they apply to API documentation. Our results show that developers initially try to form a global understanding regarding the overall purpose and main features of an API, but then adopt either a concepts-oriented or a code-oriented learning strategy that API documentation both needs to address. Our results also show that general quality criteria such as completeness and clarity are relevant to API documentation as well. Developing and maintaining API documentation therefore need to involve the expertise of communication professionals.

Abstract:
Effective communication of knowledge is paramount in every software organisation. Essentially, the role of documentation in a software engineering context is to communicate information and knowledge of the system it describes. Unfortunately, the current perception of documentation is that it is outdated, irrelevant and incomplete. Several studies to date have revealed that documentation is unfortunately often far from ideal. Problems tend to be diverse, ranging from incompleteness, to lack of clarity, to inaccuracy, obsolescence, difficulty of access, and lack of availability in local languages. This paper begins with a discussion of information seeking as an appropriate perspective for studying software maintenance activities. To this end, it examines the importance and centrality of documentation in this process. It finally concludes with a discussion on how software documentation practices can be improved to ensure software engineers communicate more effectively via the wide variety of documents that their projects require.

Abstract:
This article presents the development and implementation of jest-cov-reporter, a lightweight, language-agnostic tool that transforms how engineering organizations manage code coverage visibility. By decoupling coverage data collection from reporting and utilizing existing test outputs, the solution eliminates redundant test executions, accelerates CI pipelines, and standardizes coverage reporting across multiple programming languages. The implementation process involved strategic pilot deployment, parallel validation, comprehensive documentation, and dedicated migration support. The results demonstrate significant improvements in CI performance, developer experience, cross-team consistency, maintenance requirements, and code quality practices. Beyond technical benefits, the solution catalyzed a cultural shift where teams began viewing coverage as a valuable development tool rather than a compliance requirement, ultimately leading to more thoughtful testing strategies and improved code quality.

Abstract:
OBJECTIVE: To establish a metric for evaluating hospitalists’ documentation of clinical reasoning in admission notes. STUDY DESIGN: Retrospective study. SETTING: Admissions from 2014 to 2017 at three hospitals in Maryland. PARTICIPANTS: Hospitalist physicians. MEASUREMENTS: A subset of patients admitted with fever, syncope/dizziness, or abdominal pain were randomly selected. The nine-item Clinical Reasoning in Admission Note Assessment & Plan (CRANAPL) tool was developed to assess the comprehensiveness of clinical reasoning documented in the assessment and plans (A&Ps) of admission notes. Two authors scored all A&Ps by using this tool. A&Ps with global clinical reasoning and global readability/clarity measures were also scored. All data were deidentified prior to scoring. RESULTS: The 285 admission notes that were evaluated were authored by 120 hospitalists. The mean total CRANAPL score given by both raters was 6.4 (SD 2.2). The intraclass correlation measuring interrater reliability for the total CRANAPL score was 0.83 (95% CI, 0.76-0.87). Associations between the CRANAPL total score and global clinical reasoning score and global readability/clarity measures were statistically significant (P < .001). Notes from academic hospitals had higher CRANAPL scores (7.4 [SD 2.0] and 6.6 [SD 2.1]) than those from the community hospital (5.2 [SD 1.9]), P < .001. CONCLUSIONS: This study represents the first step to characterizing clinical reasoning documentation in hospital medicine. With some validity evidence established for the CRANAPL tool, it may be possible to assess the documentation of clinical reasoning by hospitalists.

Abstract:
A substantial effort, in general, is required for understanding APIs of application frameworks. High-quality API documentation may alleviate the effort, but the production of such documentation still poses a major challenge for modern frameworks. To facilitate the production of framework instantiation documentation, we hypothesize that the framework code itself and the code of existing instantiations provide useful information. However, given the size and complexity of existent code, automated approaches are required to assist the documentation production. Our goal is to assess an automated approach for constructing relevant documentation for framework instantiation based on source code analysis of the framework itself and of existing instantiations. The criterion for defining whether documentation is relevant would be to compare the documentation with an traditional framework documentation, considering the time spent and correctness during instantiation activities, information usefulness, complexity of the activity, navigation, satisfaction, information localization and clarity. We propose an automated approach for constructing relevant documentation for framework instantiation based on source code analysis of the framework itself and of existing instantiations. The proposed approach generates documentation in a cookbook style, where the recipes are programming activities using the necessary API elements driven by the framework features. We performed an empirical study, consisting of three experiments with 44 human subjects executing real framework instantiations aimed at comparing the use of the proposed cookbooks to traditional manual framework documentation (baseline). Our empirical assessment shows that the generated cookbooks performed better or, at least, with non-significant difference when compared to the traditional documentation, evidencing the effectiveness of the approach.

Abstract:
Reproducibility is crucial for scientific progress, yet a clear research data analysis workflow is challenging to implement and maintain. As a result, a record of computational steps performed on the data to arrive at the key research findings is often missing. We developed Scikick, a tool that eases the configuration, execution, and presentation of scientific computational analyses. Scikick allows for workflow configurations with notebooks as the units of execution, defines a standard structure for the project, automatically tracks the defined interdependencies between the data analysis steps, and implements methods to compile all research results into a cohesive final report. Utilities provided by Scikick help turn the complicated management of transparent data analysis workflows into a standardized and feasible practice. Scikick version 0.2.1 code and documentation is available as supplementary material. The Scikick software is available on GitHub (https://github.com/matthewcarlucci/scikick) and is distributed with PyPi (https://pypi.org/project/scikick/) under a GPL-3 license.

Abstract:
This study aimed to evaluate the authenticity and instructional quality of a video documentation featuring selected Maguindanaon dances, specifically Asik and Sagayan, as tools for cultural preservation and education. Conducted at Cotabato City National High School–Annex (L.R. Sebastian Site), the research involved 25 Grade 11 HUMSS students and employed a descriptive-evaluative quantitative design. The study was grounded in Cultural Memory Theory, Visual Anthropology, Digital Preservation Theory, and General Systems Theory, which collectively framed the importance of multimedia tools in sustaining intangible cultural heritage. The video was assessed across four dimensions: instructional design and organization, instructional quality, assessment practices, and acceptability. Findings indicated that the video received an overall “Outstanding” rating in all domains, with the highest scores in instructional clarity and cultural authenticity. Expert validators affirmed the accuracy of choreography, attire, music, and symbolic elements, reinforcing the video’s fidelity to Maguindanaon traditions. The assessment also demonstrated that learners gained a deeper understanding and appreciation of the dances, reflecting increased cultural knowledge, engagement, and emotional connection. An ANOVA test revealed no significant differences among the four evaluated domains, suggesting consistent quality across instructional and cultural elements. Furthermore, a strong positive correlation (r = 0.79, p < 0.0001) between authenticity and quality was found, underscoring the vital role of cultural integrity in enhancing the educational effectiveness of instructional materials. The study concludes that well-produced and culturally grounded video documentation can serve as a powerful medium for preserving traditional dance forms while also enhancing curriculum delivery. It recommends integrating such resources into education, strengthening teacher training, and expanding community collaboration. Future research may explore broader contexts, assess long-term learning outcomes, and refine multimedia strategies for intangible cultural heritage preservation.

Abstract:
Not for Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (No-CPR) orders, or the local equivalent, help prevent futile or unwanted cardiopulmonary resuscitation. The importance of unambiguous and readily available documentation at the time of arrest seems self-evident, as does the need to establish a patient’s treatment preferences prior to any clinical deterioration. Despite this, the frequency and quality of No-CPR orders remains highly variable, while discussions with the patient about their treatment preferences are undervalued, occur late in the disease process, or are overlooked entirely. This review explores the evolution of hospital patient No-CPR/Do Not Resuscitate decisions over the past 60 years. A process based on standardized resuscitation plans has been shown to increase the frequency and clarity of documentation, reduce stigma attached to the documentation of a No-CPR order, and support the delivery of medically appropriate and desired care for the hospital patient.

Abstract:
No species of freshwater Nematomorpha have been described from Iceland, but they have been identified anecdotally. Recent surveys in Iceland using freshwater gastropods as biodiversity indicators resulted in the collection of adult free-living hairworms and their non-adult stages including cysts in snail paratenic hosts and juvenile worms in ground beetle definitive hosts. Additionally, specimens acquired from the Icelandic Institute of Natural History indicate nematomorphs are common in Iceland. A single specimen from the Faroe Islands National Museum represents a new species record. Our morphological and molecular characterization indicated all the samples belong to the species Gordionus wolterstorffii, a common nematomorph found throughout Europe. Also, we provide the first descriptions of the cyst stage for the genus Gordionus. Molecular phylogenetic analysis based on 10 species of Gordionus and one species of the closely related genus Parachordodes indicates that Gordionus is not monophyletic. Combining our morphological and phylogenetic investigations, we discuss the lack of clarity in diagnostic morphological characters and the need for additional global collections to clarify the taxonomy of Gordionus.

Abstract:
Aims: This audit aimed to assess and improve the consistency and quality of carer contact within the CAMHS inpatient ward at Junction 17. The objectives were to evaluate current communication practices against Trust policies, ensure effective documentation of carer interactions, and implement strategies to improve adherence to guidelines. Methods: A retrospective audit was conducted on 12 CAMHS inpatients admitted between April 1, 2024, and June 1, 2024. Data was extracted from patient records on the PARIS system and ePMA, focusing on key carer contact indicators:Assignment of a staff member for carer communication.Documentation of consent for carer contact.Carer contact within 72 hours of admission.Communication regarding medication/management changes.Carer contact following incidents, home leaves, and ward rounds.Adherence rates were calculated, and qualitative analysis was conducted to assess documentation clarity and consistency. Results: Assignment of Staff Member: Only 58% (7/12) of patients had a clearly assigned staff member responsible for carer contact.Consent Documentation: While 100% of patients had verbal consent obtained, only 8% (1/12) had clear documentation in the PARIS system.Carer Contact Compliance:Within 72 hours of admission: 100% compliance.Post-medication/management changes: 2/3 (66%) compliance.Post-incident contact: 73% (132/180 incidents) compliance.Post-home leave: 87% compliance.Post-ward round: Only 47% (51/108) compliance.Common issues included inconsistent documentation, difficulty in retrieving records, and lack of designated time for carer communication. Conclusion: While initial carer contact post-admission and post-home leave showed high compliance, significant gaps were identified in staff assignment, documentation of consent, and post-ward round communication. Key recommendations include:Assigning primary and secondary staff members as key family links.Standardizing documentation in the PARIS system for easier retrieval.Allocating protected time for carer contact, particularly post-ward rounds.Integrating carer communication into the CAMHS staff induction programme.A re-audit is scheduled in three months to assess the impact of these interventions. If successful, the proposed guidelines will be considered for broader implementation at a national level.

Abstract:
In the rapidly evolving landscape of data-intensive applications, the precision and clarity of software requirements play a pivotal role in these applications’ development process. This research focuses on the validation of a specifically designed Transformation Requirement Pattern (TFReqPat) for data-intensive applications, such as banking, e-commerce, and healthcare. The main objective is to ascertain the completeness, correctness, and unambiguity of requirements captured using this novel pattern. Traditional approaches to requirement documentation often suffer from inconsistencies leading to the exploration of structured patterns that promise enhanced clarity and reuse. This article focuses on acceptable verification and validation procedures deployed as concrete methods to validate the adequacy of the captured requirements. Through the generation of stringent acceptance criteria, it is ensured that the documented requirements were adherent to developmental standards with fewer ambiguities. As per the proposed validation process, the correctness and completeness of the specified requirements were determined through the acceptance criteria that check for the presence of process, domain dependency, behavior, and storage details in the specifications. Accordingly, the obtained evaluation score was 93.1%, 88.5%, and 75.2% for correctness and 94.8%, 92.9%, and 76.4%, respectively, for completeness. These findings significantly underscore the suitability of the proposed pattern for data-intensive applications, marking it as a more efficient and effective methodology compared to ad-hoc reuse approaches. This article not only contributes a validated requirement pattern to the field but also highlights the importance of structured requirement documentation in enhancing software development outcomes for data-intensive domains.

Abstract:
In this paper, we present a method for comparing business process models with their textual descriptions, using a semantic-based approach based on the SBERT (Sentence-Bidirectional Encoder Representations from Transformers) model. Business process models, especially those created with the BPMN (Business Process Model and Notation) standard, are crucial for optimizing organizational activities. Ensuring the alignment between these models and their textual descriptions is essential for improving business process accuracy and clarity. Traditional set similarity methods, which rely on tokenization and basic word matching, fail to capture deeper semantic relationships, leading to lower accuracy in comparison. Our approach addresses this issue by leveraging the SBERT model to evaluate the semantic similarity between the text description and the BPMN business process model. The experimental results demonstrate that the SBERT-based method outperforms traditional methods, based on similarity measures, by an average of 31%, offering more reliable and contextually relevant comparisons. The ability of SBERT to capture semantic similarity, including identifying synonyms and contextually relevant terms, provides a significant advantage over simple token-based approaches, which often overlook nuanced language variations. The experimental results demonstrate that the SBERT-based approach, proposed in this study, improves the alignment between textual descriptions and corresponding business process models. This advancement is allowing to improve the overall quality and accuracy of business process documentation, leading to fewer errors, introducing better clarity in business process descriptions, and better communication between all the stakeholders. The overall results obtained in this study contribute to enhancing the quality and consistency of BPMN business process models and related documentation.

Abstract:
IntroductionEngaging the community as actors within reproductive, maternal, newborn and child health (RMNCH) programmes (referred to as ‘communityblank’) has seen increased implementation in recent years. While evidence suggests these approaches are effective, terminology (such as ‘communityengagement,’‘communityparticipation,’‘communitymobilisation,’and ‘social accountability’) is often used interchangeably across published literature, contributing to a lack of conceptual clarity in practice. The purpose of this review was to describe and clarify varying uses of these terms in the literature by documenting what authors and implementers report they are doing when they use these terms.MethodsSeven academic databases (PubMed/MEDLINE, Embase, CINAHL, PsycINFO, Scopus, Web of Science, Global Health), two grey literature databases (OAIster, OpenGrey) and relevant organisation websites were searched for documents that described ‘communityblank’ terms in RMNCH interventions. Eligibility criteria included being published between 1975 and 1 October 2021 and reports or studies detailing the activities used in ‘communityblank.’ResultsA total of 9779 unique documents were retrieved and screened, with 173 included for analysis. Twenty-four distinct ‘communityblank’ terms were used across the documents, falling into 11 broader terms. Use of these terms was distributed across time and all six WHO regions, with ‘communitymobilisation’, ‘communityengagement’and ‘communityparticipation’ being the most frequently used terms. While 48 unique activities were described, only 25 activities were mentioned more than twice and 19 of these were attributed to at least three different ‘communityblank’ terms.ConclusionAcross the literature, there is inconsistency in the usage of ‘communityblank’ terms for RMNCH. There is an observed interchangeable use of terms and a lack of descriptions of these terms provided in the literature. There is a need for RMNCH researchers and practitioners to clarify the descriptions reported and improve the documentation of ‘communityblank’implementation. This can contribute to a better sharing of learning within and across communities and to bringing evidence-based practices to scale. Efforts to improve reporting can be supported with the use of standardised monitoring and evaluation processes and indicators. Therefore, it is recommended that future research endeavours clarify the operational definitions of ‘communityblank’ and improve the documentation of its implementation.

Abstract:
In 2002, the United States embraced the Housing First approach, which led to the widespread adoption of this approach in cities across the nation. This resulted in programmatic variations of Housing First and calls for clarity about the Housing First model. This study uses a comparative case study approach to explore the differences across Housing First programs in five selected cities: Dallas, Austin, Houston, Los Angeles, and Salt Lake City. It focuses on one aspect of programmatic variation: housing type. Data collection consisted of in-depth interviews with 53 participants, documentation review, and site visits. Findings show differences in the type of housing used and explore the reasons why Housing First programs select such housing configurations. The results highlight how programmatic variation does not necessarily mean the Housing First model lacks clarity. Rather, homeless service providers adapt the model to address local challenges and needs, resulting in the variation seen across programs and cities. The findings elucidate the debate about variation in the Housing First model and the call for fidelity.

Abstract:
Pressure injuries (PIs) are an important quality and patient safety metric for health care organizations. PI monitoring and treatment are often overlooked in the emergency department (ED). Emergency care professionals must be proactive about PI early identification and prevention strategies. A team at a Level 1 trauma center recognized the need for ED-friendly documentation and a validated ED skin risk assessment instrument. The Bjorklund 25-item ED Skin/Risk Assessment Tool was selected. However, because the tool was not fully validated, permission to validate/use was obtained from the author. The purpose of this research study was to determine the content validity of the Bjorklund Tool. Using a prospective survey design, content experts were recruited from wound, quality, and ED and participated in two rounds of content validation. The experts reviewed the Tool for relevance, clarity, and appropriateness for the ED population. Item-level content validity index (I-CVI) and scale-level CVI (S-CVI) were calculated, with 0.78 and 0.90 as the lower limits of acceptability for individual items and the overall scale, respectively. Of the first round I-CVI ratings, 24 of 75 were below 0.78, including 14 for relevance, four for clarity, and six for appropriateness. S-CVI was 0.7574 for relevance, 0.8809 for clarity, 0.8592 for appropriateness, and 0.8325 overall. The Bjorklund Tool was determined to be invalid in its current form. A novel tool was thus created in the second round per content experts' recommendations. After redesign and simplifying items and images, all I-CVIs rated above 0.78. S-CVI was 0.923 for relevance, 0.9743 for clarity, 0.9615 for appropriateness, and 0.9529 overall. These CVIs indicate excellent content validity of the new UCHealth ED Skin Risk Assessment Instrument. This research contributes to establishment of content validity of a skin risk assessment instrument which can be used in the unique ED setting.

Abstract:
Successful information technology transfer requires effective communication and clear, concise information exchange. This paper, using the Louisiana econometric model as a case study, proposes a pictorial approach to present and manage complex factors essential to information technology transfer. The approach utilizes multi-layer entity-relationship diagrams to provide a meaningful framework for the entire forecasting process, provide clarity to ensure better model maintenance when changes in social/economic structures require reformulations, and provide a procedural and data dictionary for clear documentation. The pictorial approach is both intuitive and readable, capable of serving as a task management tool, a model implementation aid, and a system maintenance resource.

Abstract:
Healthcare is changing; the physician shortage continues to grow and the complexity of health care continues to increase in relation to aging populations, lower reimbursement rates, and increased documentation requirements; an alternative has to be addressed. Globally, the advanced practice nurse (APN) role has grown enormously. Despite the growing use of APN practitioners worldwide, many facilitators and barriers exist to role implementation. Many countries face similar issues, including a lack of clarity and regulation regarding the APN role. Despite these barriers, APNs continue to make headway. This narrative will review barriers and challenges to role advancement across countries and offer opportunities to facilitate APN role development.

Abstract:
True to the tradition of the Orbis Pictus Award, the committee has selected one award-winning book, five honor books, and eight recommended books from among more than 325 titles of nonfiction for children submitted. This year, the books explore history, biography, art, and the animal world. Regardless of the subject matter or the reading level, all are books that entice a child to turn another page and keep reading. In selecting books, the committee looks for accuracy of presentation with appropriate documentation, organization of material that contributes to clarity and accessibility, an engaging style of writing and design, and potential contribution to the curriculum.

Abstract:
This study aims to analyze the influence of work-life balance and physical work environment on the performance of Civil Servant Teachers (ASN) at SMP Negeri 7 Cimahi. A quantitative approach was employed, using survey methods and data collection techniques such as questionnaires, interviews, observations, and documentation. The sample included 36 ASN teachers as respondents for the independent variables and the principal for the dependent variable. The findings revealed that work-life balance was categorized as balanced, with the highest score in the sub-variable of involvement balance (4.24). The physical work environment was rated as good, with workplace safety being the most prominent sub-variable (4.15). Teacher performance was generally categorized as good, with social competence achieving the highest score (4.31). Multiple linear regression analysis revealed that work-life balance and physical work environment positively and significantly influenced teacher performance, both partially and simultaneously, with a simultaneous influence rate of 60.1%. This study contributes to policy development aimed at enhancing work-life balance and optimizing the physical work environment to support teacher performance and improve education quality.
