Blade failure modes normally occur as a result of cracks due to unexpected operating conditions, which are normally caused by accidents of foreign objects damage, high cycle fatigue, blade rubbing, blade root looseness, and degradation from erosion and corrosion. Thus, detection of blade faults has an important role in reducing blade related failures and allowing repairs to be scheduled for the machinery. Abstract:
Assembly plays a vital role in the quality of a final product and has a great impact on the manufacturing cost. The mechanical assemblies consist of parts that inevitably have variations from their ideal dimensions. These variations propagate and accumulate as parts are assembled together. Excessive amount of variations in an assembly may cause improper functionality of the product being assembled. Improving assembly quality and reducing the assembly time and cost are the main objectives of this thesis. The quality of an assembly is determined in terms of variations in critical assembly dimens

Abstract:
Transient simulation programs are used extensively for modeling and simulation of various electrical power and energy systems that include rotating alternating current machines as generators and motors. In simulation programs, traditionally, the machine models are expressed in qd-coordinates (rotational reference frame) and transformed variables, and the power networks are modeled in abc-phase coordinates (physical variables), which represents an interfacing problem. It has been shown in the literature that the method of interfacing machine models and the electric network models plays an impor
