Abstract:
Man's thinking intellect distinguishes him from other living beings. Such intellectual thoughts help the country’s new inventions, technical developments, and progress. We have their genes that laid the foundations for everything from fire, and the wheel, to the invention of computers and artificial intelligence robots that we use today. The Tamils who lived in ancient times had many scientific ideas. Sangam literature can be cited as proof of this. We know that Purananuru is a time mirror that clearly shows the socio-biological structure of the Sangam people. People's life civilization, culture but also scientific events; Poets wanted to inculcate in their songs. The fact that they mostly sang five elements like earth, water, fire, air, sky, and the events that can happen in space with their outer life shows their necessity. One of the Sangam literature, Purananuru covers various topics. Among them, only the songs that express scientific ideas in the first hundred songs are the main purpose of this study. The main purpose of this research is to explain that the Tamils live with sharp scientific thinking and discover many truths, and to know the techniques used by poets as metaphors in their works.

Abstract:
The people of the Tamil Sangam period lived amicably with the five forms of nature. They revered earth, water, air, fire and sky. All life and immovable objects in the world are formed by the combination of these five elements. The life of the Sangam people was based on the five elements. Land was primary to the Tamils and they divided the land into five types according to the land. The source of life was according to the five types of land environment, food, clothing, shelter and occupation of the people. According to this, Sangam people used their lifestyle oriented to the land and its values. The human values are also oriented to it. At that time, the country was fertile with nature. The people made their lives through the land and have peculiar human ethics. Kurinji Thinai, Mullai Thinai, Marutha Thinai, Neithal Thinai and Palai Thinai are the land categorized by the Tamil Sangam people. They discovered the next stages in life, food, clothing shelter etc. They dealt with various forms of production that suit their economy. Farming, dairy, hunting, forestry, honey, fish, conch, shells, oysters, pearls and so many forms of business that are oriented to the Thinais were practised by them. There are many indications that the livelihood of the Sangam people can be found in Sangam literary songs. In today's modern world, many valuable resources are portrayed from Sangam literature to rejuvenate life and livelihood. Hence, the primary purpose of the article is to demonstrate the life and livelihood of the Sangam Age people.

A person can achieve all the goals of one’s worldly life as well one’s spiritual life only when he is in good health. Scriptures also say that “sharira khalu mādhay dharma sādhanam” means the body is the real instrument for the spiritual path, so if it is not healthy we cannot enjoy either the material life, or the spiritual path. To be healthy we should maintain balance of the Panch Mahābhuta (five elements) in our body and universe. Panch Dev Upāsanā is a means to help us maintain the balance of these Panch Mahābhut in our body and in the universe. We can also achieve our final goal of liberation through the Upāsanā of Panch Dev which is advised and guided by our sages and scriptures.

All living beings need food to live. It is a means of good life, health, and wellness. Inappropriate food will cause diseases and at the same time, food is the first medication against diseases. Just like anything in the universe, food is made of five elements: Earth, Water, Fire, Air, and Space. A balanced diet should contain all of the five elements. Although all plants contain these five elements, the varying ratios found in different plants make the six tastes: Sweet, Salty, Sour, Bitter, Pungent, and Astringent. A different taste has different functions in our body. Deficiency or an excess of a particular taste in food results in an imbalance of the three humours, causing diseases. As we have different nature of body constitution:Wind, Bile and Phlegm, the requirement for food varies from individual to individual.

Abstract:
To (土, Earth) among Five elements undertakes its role to connect, mediate, and combine between these elements. Tohaemg (土行, Earth element) encompassing the concept of all these elements is indispensable for mutual reconciliation and harmony, in the contemporary age when disharmony, severance, and isolation dominate human lives. Earth and land [地] appearing in Genesis of Mankinds and original form are replaced with To (土, Earth) of Yin-yang and Five elements. To (土, Earth) undertakes its central role to keep everything from being lopsided, by embracing, mediating, and adjusting all the rest four elements. On top of this, Tohaemg (土行, Earth element) plays its another role as an assistant to help all the rest four elements develop. By shedding light on the meaning of Myeongli Science on Tohaemg (土行, Earth element), it is advised that many people would pursue a harmonious and happy life, in the contemporary society which is plagued with wasteful conflicts caused by region, religion, culture, race, class, gender, generation, and others.

Abstract:
SUMMARY Repetitive DNA elements have been a part of the genomic fauna of eukaryotes perhaps since their very beginnings. Millions of years of coevolution have given repeats central roles in chromosome maintenance and genetic modulation. Here we review the genomes of parasitic protozoa in the context of the current understanding of repetitive elements. Particular reference is made to repeats in five medically important species with ongoing or completed genome sequencing projects: Plasmodium falciparum, Leishmania major, Trypanosoma brucei, Trypanosoma cruzi, and Giardia lamblia. These organisms are used to illustrate five thematic classes of repeats with different structures and genomic locations. We discuss how these repeat classes may interact with parasitic life-style and also how they can be used as experimental tools. The story which emerges is one of opportunism and upheaval which have been employed to add genetic diversity and genomic flexibility.

Abstract:
Among the aspects of life that are in harmony with the nature that surrounds man, it is the arts and the elements of art that delight the mind, support and delight in being happy, and are greatly desired. In the knowledge mixed with the consciousness inculcated by nature, with the aim of examining everything, some are complex, counterintuitive, and can create contradictions in life. To beautify all of this, to make them aesthetic, to be aware, and to develop positive thinking, the elements of the art form the basis for developing positive thinking, and the ethical ideas contained in it are actionable. Without ethical considerations, literature would be of no use. Even if literature is created with the aim of a work of art, the messages contained in them should be alive and contain good moral ideas. In ancient times, virtues and morals were established by preserving the arts from perishing. People in society were afraid of untrue events. The arts created such fear. The purpose of this article is to examine the virtues of the arts in Aimperum Kaapiyankal, the five great epics.

Water is one of the five essential elements of life; Earth (Prithvi), Water (Jal), Fire (Agni), Air (Vayu) and Space (Akash). Quality and quantity of these fundamental elements affects health, ecosystems and economics. Water scarcity and contamination are becoming a big challenge to life support on this blue planet. The present study is aimed to study the seasonal variation in physicochemical parameters like pH, electrical conductivity, COD, BOD, TH, TA and TDS, various cations and anions of secondary treated wastewater of Sri Ganganagar and Hanumangarh, Rajasthan. Various parameters showed distinct seasonal variation with higher value for most of the parameters in pre-monsoon season. Higher BOD values may cause adverse effect on aquatic biota. The study showed a need for regular monitoring of the treatment plants.

Abstract:
Vladimir (later known as Ze'ev) Jabotinsky is remembered today largely for his Zionism, but in his younger years he had gained recognition for his literary career, which he never entirely abandoned. His final novel, The Five (1936), written in Russian long after he had left his native country, depicts Jewish life in his native Odessa at the beginning of the twentieth century. The novel contains two main narrative lines. One involves a paean to the Odessa of Jabotinsky's youth—to its vibrancy, its physical charms, and even its peculiar dialect of Russian. The other chronicles the decline of a family, through the fates of its five children, as well as of an entire way of life, in a manner reminiscent of that employed by Sholem Aleichem in Tevye the Dairyman. The chief link between these outwardly disparate and even opposing lines is the semi-autobiographical narrator, a figure who has heretofore received less attention than deserved. In this analysis by Barry P. Scherr, the narrator appears not only to unify the fragmentary elements of the work but also, through his Zionism, to suggest a way out of the malaise that afflicted many of his contemporaries.

Abstract:
This article explores the phenomenon of consecration, which, so far, has been neglected by sociologists of intellectuals. Contrary to the common Bourdieusian approach to consecration, which conflates it with legitimization, consecration is conceptualized as a process of the symbolic elevation of a figure, or an object, to the level of sacred symbols relevant to a particular community. Five analytically distinctive elements are identified that constitute the consecration process and a proposed framework is applied to disentangle the consecration of the Czech philosopher, and martyr of anti-communist dissent, Jan Patočka. In this analysis, original data are used to uncover repressed facts about the life of this intellectual icon.

Abstract: The traditional Chinese theory of the Five Elements, encompassing Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, and Water, offers profound insights into various aspects of life, including family education. This paper explores how the principles of generation and restraint inherent in the Five Elements can be applied to family education to promote balanced and harmonious development of children. By aligning educational practices with these ancient philosophical concepts, parents and educators can foster an environment that nurtures children's physical, emotional, and intellectual growth. The study delves into practical applications, such as balancing discipline and encouragement (restraint and generation), and cultivating a holistic approach to learning and personal development. The findings suggest that integrating the Five Elements theory into family education not only enhances the overall well-being of children but also strengthens family bonds, creating a supportive and nurturing home environment. Keywords: family education, traditional culture, effectiveness. Title: The Application of the Traditional Chinese Theory of the Five Elements' Generation and Restraint in Family Education Author: Zhang Yuji, Lety C. Understanding patients’ and family members’ perspectives on the relative importance of elements of end-of-life (EOL) care and their satisfaction with those elements will help prioritize quality improvement initiatives. We administered a face-to-face questionnaire containing a selection of 28 elements of care to eligible in patients with advanced lung, heart, or liver disease, or metastatic cancer, and available family caregivers (FCGs) in five tertiary care hospitals across Canada. 440 of 569 (78%) eligible patients and 160 of 176 (91%) FCGs participated. No respondent reported complete satisfaction with all elements of care. The average satisfaction score was 4.6 on a 26 point scale. Medical patients reported lower levels of satisfaction than cancer patients. Elements rated as “extremely important” and anything other than “completely satisfied” most frequently by respondents related to discharge planning, availability of home health services, symptom relief, not being a burden, physician trust, and communication. In conclusion, most patients and their family members in our survey were not completely satisfied with EOL care. Improvement initiatives to target key elements identified by patients and FCGs have the potential to improve satisfaction with EOL care across care settings.

Abstract:
Objective: To interpret community academic practices based on the analysis of the curricula of nursing programs from five universities located in the Eje Cafetero (Coffeee Region), Colombia 2021-2022. Method: Qualitative hermeneutic study with a documentary review of curricular elements in nursing programs related to community practices. The document analysis was conducted using a spiral process of preconceived interpretation. The curricular components were examined to gain insight and depict them within the metaphorical framework of the tree of life. Results: From the analysis, an emerging pattern is identified, represented through the metaphor of the tree of life: “the being” (the roots), where the student’s lived experience is essential for comprehensive learning for self and others’ care; “the knowledge” (the trunk), where research and knowledge connect with “the reflective practice” (the branches), which emerge in the context of care in various settings through collaborative and sociopolitical work. Conclusions: Community academic practices are developed by considering three key components: “the being” with ethical commitment and critical thinking, “the knowledge” through sociopolitical knowledge and human social development, and “reflective practice,” a result of the skills acquired by students.

Concentrations of elements in the sagittal otoliths of juvenile white anglerfish (Lophius piscatorius) from five locations in the north-east Atlantic were measured to test for evidence of segregation in the early life stages. The concentrations of some elements, notably copper, were different between locations. As such, the results suggest limited exchange between locations during some period of the early life history. The relevance of these results to our understanding of population structuring is discussed in relation to recent information on anglerfish movements and genetic structuring.

Abstract:
Historic neighbourhoods have usually shaped on an organic structure in regard to their residents’ requirements. Due to the limitations in mobility, historical neighbourhoods were usually able to perform as a small city comprising all the elements required for satisfying physical, social, and cultural needs. This paper seeks to explore the patterns of social life in the traditional settlements in Shiraz and investigate the elements that have shaped the social life of these neighbourhoods. Exploring the social structure of historic neighbourhoods may introduce new approaches to the design of contemporary suburbs and neighbourhoods in terms of their vitality and social life. A review of the literature and comparing it to the historical core in Shiraz shows that there are five contributing factors to the social life of historic neighbourhoods in Shiraz, including density, human scale development, walkability, mixed land-use and qualities of public spaces. Exploring the features of public places and communal facilities indicates that the fine social performance of these settlements is rooted in their compatibility and adaptability to the environment, the residents’ requirements and culture.

Abstract:
This analysis aims to describe the social values contained in the novel "Rembulan Drowning in Your Face" by Tere-Liye. The approach used in this study is a sociological approach. This sociological approach is a type of literary analysis approach that focuses on the social role contained in the social world. This approach assumes that literary works belong to the community. According to Ratna (2013: 60) a sociological approach, especially for Indonesian literature, both old and modern promises research land that will never dry up. Every work, both on a scale and individual scale, has certain social aspects that can be discussed through social understanding models. The sociological approach also has methodological implications in the form of a fundamental understanding of human life in society. This analysis technique begins by revealing social problems that occur in the world of storytelling novels. The results of the analysis show that the novel "Rembulan Drowned in Your Face" is a novel that illustrates that in life what happens is often not in accordance with what we expect, the opportunity to be able to find answers to five questions obtained by the main character (Ray) shows that often the loss and pain we face in life save so many good things that we often don't realize.

Rough set was conceptualized to deal with indiscernibility or imperfect knowledge about elements in numerous real life scenarios. But it was noticed later that an information system may establish relation with more than one universe. So, rough set on one universal set was further extended to rough set on two universal sets. This paper presents eleven possible types of classifications on the whole and it is proved that out of those eleven types only five types which were hypothesized by are elementary and the rest six types can be reduced to the elementary five types either directly or transitively. This paper also analyzes to predict the all possible combinations of types of elements for a classification of 2 and 3 numbers of elements. It is established that, the number of classification with 2 elements is 3 whereas with 3 elements is 8 instead of 64.

Abstract:
To provide basic data for writing textbooks according to the 2022 revised practical curriculum, this study analyzed clothing life units found in practical arts education textbooks. In this context, the primary focuses were well-being and helping students achieve good lives through clothing life education. To meet this goal, relevant data were analyzed to identify the concept and content elements of well-being based on 11 indices derived from the OECD BLI. Specifically, these were used as criteria to analyze clothing life units found in six types of practical arts education textbooks according to the 2015 revised curriculum. The 11 well-being factors included housing, income, job, community, education, environment, civic participation, health, life satisfaction, safety, and work-life balance. Four elementary school teachers majoring in practical education reviewed the content analysis for validity. The results were as follows. First, the “Wearing Clothes and Etiquette” unit was highly related to six elements, including occupation, community, education, health, life satisfaction, and safety. Second, the “safe clothing” unit was related to five factors, including job, education, health, life satisfaction, and safety. Third, the “Organization and Storage of Clothes” unit was related to nine factors, including housing, job, community, education, environment, civic participation, health, life satisfaction, and safety. Fourth, in the “Basic Sewing and Repair” section of “Making Household Items,” five factors were related to community, education, environment, life satisfaction, and safety. Fifth, in the “Making Daily Items with Various Tools” section of “Making Daily Items,” the seven elements of occupation, community, education, environment, civic participation, safety, and work-life balance were related. Based on these results, most clothing life units found in practical arts education textbooks were related to all well-being factors, except for income. This arrangement greatly contributes to student well-being.

Abstract:
This article provides a policy-oriented overview of the five-year ESRC Growing Older Programme of research on quality of life in old age: the largest UK social sciences research endeavour to date in the field of ageing. By way of an introduction to the Growing Older Programme, its main objectives are stated and some of its unique contributions to knowledge and research methods are summarised. Then the bulk of the article focuses on the relationship between research and policy: first in general terms and then specifically with regard to the operation of and outputs from the Programme. The particular methods used by the Programme to engage with the policy process are described, within a broad enlightenment framework. This is followed by an outline of the key elements of a multi-dimensional approach to extending the quality of later life. The five priority elements of this skeletal strategy – inequalities in old age, environments of ageing, economic and family roles, participation and involvement, and frailty and identity – are derived from the Growing Older Programme's comprehensive evidence base. In each case the policy implications of the research evidence are illustrated. Finally, the role of older people in living their own lives of quality is discussed, and the results of the Programme are used to show how aspects of both structure and agency combine to determine the quality of later life.

Abstract:
Under rural revitalization and rapid construction in China, the mismatch between contemporary rural communities and villagers’ space behavior habits has attracted widespread attention. This study proposes and practices a design methodology for a newly built rural community based on spatial elements and their relationship with the behavior of local ancient villages. We explore the relationship between the two by applying drone-tech aerial photos, GPS, and ArcGIS. The results indicate that: (1) Ancient villages have abundant external spatial elements different from urban communities. Each space element of the ancient village has a specific function corresponding to the villagers’ daily life needs. (2) Village space elements are outcomes of the sociocultural process, and their topological structure is not random but follows their use based on hours of the day. (3) About 94.6% of space use behavior in the case of ancient village residents is associated with five space elements. (4) Updating the external spatial elements of ancient villages under the demands of contemporary life makes the application of spatial elements not only continue the villagers’ natural life process, but also satisfy the demands of the contemporary way of life on the external space. This study proposes the characteristics of the relationship between ancient village spatial behavior and external spatial elements through scientific analysis methods, which can provide references for contemporary rural planning and help to solve the mismatch problem between contemporary rural communities and villagers’ behavior habits.

According to the phenomenon of the contemporary Chinese masses' craze for metaphysical fortune-telling, topics related to metaphysics continue to emerge from the Internet. Among them, noticed that compared with Western Metaphysics, Eastern Metaphysics is clearly characterized by words, images, and meanings, that is to say, through words, a series of things are formed, and with reference to the operation of the things among them, different scenes are formed, and from the scenes, one's life is interpreted. And therefore, interviewed two masters of the trade and many documents and annotated editions of traditional ancient books to confirm my hypothesis. In the end, discovered the origins of Bazi fortune-telling and how it has evolved to date, and explained that the reason for the current metaphysical craze is that people are looking for comfort in an increasingly evolving society, to understand the root causes of what is happening around them, and to eliminate the subjective mindset to get rid of stress.

Abstract:
Introduction The analysis of the periodic table of elements by Jan Scholten opened the way for a new kind of classification and repertorisation of homeopathic remedies. Thereby, group analysis (resorting to series and stages) makes precise prescriptions possible. This approach appears to yield striking results, even in severe cases. Whereas Hahnemann stressed the emotional state (‘Gemüthssymptome’, Organon § 210) when choosing a remedy, Scholten 200 years later investigated the mental picture that represents a life conflict or even a life theme that may maintain the disease process. The person's environment, emotional traumas or a conflict drives him or her to suppress and dissect painful emotions. Such compensations can become subconscious and so strong that they can no longer be controlled; they then influence the patient with a highly destructive energy. Methods We present five case reports, each dealing with an unusual clinical course of severe cancer associated with homeopathic treatment using the Scholten method. Results By presenting these cases, we consider how the constitution (lifelong signs and symptoms of the patient) and the mental state are interwoven and, as a complex mechanism, might provoke disease. Conclusion The appropriate homeopathic remedy, reflecting the Scholten approach, seemed to have beneficial impact on the disease process of the five individuals presented.

Faith, Islam, and ihsan are a unity that cannot be separated. With faith, Islam, and ihsan every Muslim can reach the true meaning of life. Faith, Islam, and ihsan become a combination of elements that are very important to live life. Therefore, Muslims who do not understand the combination of these three elements will not find the true meaning of life. Faith will give birth to Islam, and Islam will give birth to ihsan, from ihsan Muslims will be able to reach the true meaning of life. Faith has six pillars, namely: Faith in Allah, angels, book, messenger, last day, qada and qadar. Islam has five pillars, namely: Shahadat, prayer, zakat, fasting, pilgrimage for those who are able. Ihsan has four pillars, namely: Ihsan to Allah, self, fellow human beings, all creatures. The meaning of life for every human being is different, but the essence of the meaning of life desired by every human being is happiness, both happy in the world and happy in the hereafter.

Abstract:
In this work, five different magnetic biofilters, containing magnetic nanoparticles (142 nm), immobilized laccase on nanoparticles (190 nm) and permanent magnetic elements, such as neodymium magnets and metallic meshes, were designed, manufactured and tested. The five types of filters were compared by measuring the decolorization of Congo Red dye inside bioreactors, the half-life of the filters and the amount of magnetic nanoparticle and enzyme lost during multiple cycles of operation. Filters containing laccase immobilized on magnetite (Laccase-magnetite), permanent magnets and metallic mesh presented the highest Congo Red decolorization (27%) and the largest half-life among all types of filters (seven cycles). The overall dye decolorization efficiencies were 5%, 13%, 17%, 23%, and 27% for the paper filter, paper filter with magnetite, paper filter with Laccase-magnetite, paper filter with Laccase-magnetite with magnets and paper filter with Laccase-magnetite with magnets and metallic mesh, respectively. Although the highest losses of magnetite occurred when using the filters containing magnets (57 mg), the use of permanent magnetic elements in the filters increased the half-life of the filter three-fold compared to the filters without enzymatic properties and two-fold compared to the filters with Laccase-magnetite. Results indicate that the novel use of permanent magnetic elements improved the nanoparticle retention in the filters and promoted the mass transfer between the dye and the biocatalyst to enhance wastewater treatment.

Abstract:
The study examines the notion of happy life and its ingredients in a rural adivasi (first nation people) community experiencing the influences of acculturation and development taking place in the rapidly globalising world. The study was carried out on 200 males of the Kharwar adivasi group residing in 11 villages of the Naugarh Block of Chanduali district in Uttar Pradesh. The participants, aged 30–60 years, were given the happy life test (Sinha, 1969, Indian villages in transition: A motivational analysis. Delhi: Associated Publishing House) with slight modification in the questions. Content analysis of responses brought out five major elements of happy life, namely economy, relationships, health, meaningful engagements and money. Cluster analysis revealed that only economy, relationships and health were reliable elements of happy life, while the other two elements were outliers. As compared to the happy Kharwars, the less happy Kharwars suggested more number of items as ingredients of happy life. The findings suggest that the ingredients of happy life are culture specific and not universal. It is suggested that, even in the face of a development model, which underscores material possessions, the life of people in traditional societies, such as of the Kharwar, is driven largely by need rather than by greed.

Abstract:
AbstractNew competitive and environmental challenges have fostered renewed attention towards organizational design. This scenario calls for a significant return to organizational design studies that embrace a holistic approach, especially those focusing on the simultaneous interaction of multiple design elements. Organizational life cycle (OLC) models provide a fitting response to this call. In this paper, we review the organizational design characteristics of five seminal OLC models. We show that according to these OLC models, growth in size—which is described as unavoidable—generates business issues that firms are forced to solve by adopting only one possible organizational configuration, here following a deterministic organizational approach. We challenge this approach and propose conceiving of OLC as an evolutionary process, which calls for a variety of equifinal organizational solutions. We conclude by proposing future research avenues.
