Abstract:
The main characteristics of youth leisure, its structural and informative aspects are revealed in the article. Particular emphasis is placed on the forms of self-organization during leisure activities by young people. Among young people there is a differentiation both in terms of time allocated for leisure and in terms of its possibilities. At older youth ages, material possibilities increase, but at the same time, unconditioned leisure is replaced by various forms of coordinated and additional leisure. Compensatory leisure begins to play a big role. Younger youths are characterized by extra-familial forms of leisure, focused on communication with peers. The limited material resources, lack of urban leisure infrastructure lead to the active use of extra-institutional forms of leisure. Such forms of leisure, based on its independent organization of young people, allow to implement the basic functions of leisure. At the same time, they increase the likelihood of passive-entertaining and anti-social types of leisure activities.

The current trend of hotels — meeting the increasing needs of customers — involves offering a wide range of leisure forms. Cultural and leisure activities contribute to the development of aesthetic and emotional perception of the individual. Organizing leisure activities is also a source of additional income, and the greater the variety of activities offered, the higher the hotel's reputation and the greater the company's profits. Abstract:
The purpose of this article is to show, using the example of Daghestan, the traditional forms of leisure and their transformation at the present time. The sources for its writing were the studies of Russian ethnographers, as well as the field material of the author. Traditional forms of leisure, like other components of everyday culture, are closely related to the lifestyle, worldview and religious beliefs of peoples. The natural-geographical, economic conditions of Daghestan, the peculiarities of the norms and stereotypes of interpersonal, social relationsб developed over the centuries, as well as the dynamics of the ethno-cultural characteristics in the modern time - these and other factors underlie the formation of a pronounced, recognizable originality of leisure culture Daghestanis. Both in everyday life, and on holidays, not only collective leisure, ritual meals, fun, and relaxation were needed, but also mutual assistance, material and physical participation in the organization and conduct of leisure activities. The article notes that in our days, an awakened interest in traditional culture is expressed in the return to folk forms of leisure, in their revival. Examples are given that confirm the thesis that a changing way of life ultimately leads to the transformation of forms of leisure. It is emphasized that the main part of the traditional leisure was aimed at the all-round development of the personality, physical improvement, as well as entertainment. Over time, almost all traditional forms of leisure were transformed or completely lost, and in their place came other models, not always the best, but generally corresponding to the modern way of life of the people.

Abstract:
Abstract At the height of the mid-twentieth-century domestic revival, middle-class Jewish women created forms of “leisured domesticity,” marked by temporary female-only recreational spaces in their family-centered arenas. In contrast to other forms of recreation, with mahjong second-generation Jewish women gained an entitlement to peer-oriented leisure in the site of domestic labor: the home. Based on extensive oral histories, Heinz argues that consistent cultural patterns emerged around mahjong. These commonalities created a widespread culture that reached its height in the postwar years of upward mobility, experienced in particularly pronounced ways by Jewish Americans. Although the culture of mahjong could reinforce women’s domestic roles as much as undermine them, the weekly mahjong ritual demanded a temporary reallocation of household labor. Understandings of postwar life have largely been shaped by a duality between what defined an idealized domesticity in theory (devoted mothers in family-centered middle-class homes) and the ways that women resisted or were excluded from these norms. In contrast, the practices of leisured domesticity illuminate a multidimensional reality. Mahjong-playing mothers neither overthrew nor fully acquiesced to the powerful norms of postwar American “model” domesticity. Creating a widely accepted rhythm of women’s recreation made domesticity more livable by carving out patterns of leisure within it.

Abstract:
The article describes the theoretical aspects of the organization of leisure time and leisure activities. Based on the analysis of scientific sources, it has been proven that meaningful leisure is one of the components of a healthy lifestyle. The impact of the organization of leisure time on the moral and psychological climate in society, its cultural level, and the physical and moral health of the population is analyzed. It was concluded that meaningful leisure and socially oriented leisure activities are not only components, but also factors of a healthy lifestyle.
It was noted that the organization of recreational activities has an extraordinary influence on the formation of personality, and the comprehensive and harmonious development of a person is not only a high social ideal, but also a necessary condition for solving the tasks of today's society.
An attempt was made to implement objective and functional approaches in considering leisure and leisure activities. The implementation of the obgective approach made it possible to determine the content component of leisure time, to highlight the main concepts of leisure time and its principles. The functional approach contributed to focusing attention on the functions of leisure time in the life of a person and society (recreational, entertainment, educational) and factors influencing a person's choice of various forms of leisure activity. Emphasis is placed on the expansion of the scale and qualitative improvement of cultural and educational activities, and the necessity of giving priority to those forms of leisure that stimulate human creative activity, are saturated with intellectual search game and competition, and are capable of forming positive personality qualities.
Further research of the problem of organizing leisure activities in the process of forming a healthy lifestyle will be aimed at finding new, more effective combinations of content, forms, methods and means, functions and principles of leisure that meet the demands of modern society, interests and needs of different age groups.

Abstract:
The article focuses on analyzing the peculiarities of organizing youth leisure in a metropolis. The materials of a sociological survey among young residents of the capital of Kazakhstan, Astana, reveal the specifics of the infrastructure of a large city and the features of the cultural and leisure activities of the young generation. A profound transformation of youth leisure practices associated with the modernization of public consciousness and changes in youth leisure expectations is shown. The range of leisure preferences of young Astana residents has been determined: in the structure of youth leisure, the rating of cultural and creative practices is decreasing, while that of cultural and consumer forms is increasing. The article briefly describes how the entertainment segment is growing in Astana and outlines the technology used to organize cultural and leisure activities. The author’s attention is directed towards the technology of sociocultural animation, aiming to humanize the free time of young people and create conditions for their self-realization and self-affirmation through sociocultural animation and leisure activities. Creating conditions for engagement of young people in various spheres of social activity is the primary pedagogical meaning of sociocultural animation. The technology of sociocultural animation is most clearly manifested in the club work of youth leisure centers and additional education. The author’s analysis of heoretical and applied aspects of youth leisure organization in a metropolis allowed to identify the specifics of the leisure time of the capital’s youth and the features of its cultural and leisure practices. Among the specifics are unregulated and voluntary use of leisure time, which makes it possible to single out leisure as a separate social institution; a variety of forms of leisure activity, where new trends and hobbies appear along with traditional forms; features of the environment of youth leisure (in the company of friends, peers, outdoors); predominance of cultural and consumer practices in the structure of youth leisure. The strengthening of hedonistic components in the system of value-semantic attitudes of young people, the formation of a new social community oriented to the consumption of leisure services were revealed.

Abstract:
Children leisure time is usually decided by their immediate environment, i.e. their family. Therefore, leisure activities which are designed in a family and which enable children to discover pleasant experiences and motivate them to care of their own health are of extreme importance. The aim of the study was to highlight the peculiarities of the organization of leisure time activities in a family for elementary school students in the context of health education. The respondents of the study were 614 elementary school students from eight Western Lithuania schools and 604 of their parents. The study has shown that elementary school students rate their health more favourably than their parents. Almost half of the respondents- children (42.7%) have rated their health as very good and around the same number of children (45.3%) have rated it as good. One fifth of respondents- parents (20.7%) have rated the health of their children as very good and more than half of parents (62.3%) have said that the health of their children is good. The opinion of parents and their children on the issue of the time allocated for leisure activities has been discovered as being similar. Respondentschildren indicate that on weekdays their leisure time averages to 2.4 hours/day and at the weekends to 4.3 hours/day. Respondents-parents indicate that children’s leisure time on weekdays lasts for 2.2 hours/ day, and at the weekends it reaches 4.4 hours /day. It has been revealed that the longer the leisure time the children have, the better their health is. The majority of children (78%) believe that they have enough leisure time. Those, who assume that they do not have enough leisure time, and those, who are undecided, make almost one-fourth (24%). A third of elementary school students enjoy physically active forms of leisure time activities (going in for sports) while about a half of respondents-children prefer passive forms of leisure time activities (artistic activities, watching TV, playing computer games, reading books). Respondents- children point out that they devote on average 3.4 hours/day for passive forms of activities and 2.2.hours/day for physical active leisure activities. Their parents state that children spend 4.3 hours /day for passive activities and 1.8 hours/day for physical active leisure activities. Only about one-tenth of families engage themselves in mutual active forms of physical activities and play sports together. Therefore, the leisure time spent by children together with the family is not sufficiently active.

Following the accepted logic of understanding the dynamics of cultural processes, we had to begin the article by turning to the history of Russia and identifying a period in it similar in terms of the changes taking place. But for this it is necessary to define the “matching parameters” and “similarity criteria”. These could be sociocultural transformations and related changes in the social functions of art, the importance of the artistic intelligentsia in the processes of reforming society, and the level of education and culture of the country's population. For this purpose, the materials of the conducted sociological study contain a lot of useful information

Abstract:
This research conducted in Switzerland addresses the participatory capability of children regarding their organized leisure activities. Observations were made in 2016 in three French-speaking counties in Switzerland within 11 leisure facilities differentiated by their structural organization. Individual interviews were conducted with 34 children aged 13 to 16 as well as 11 managers of the leisure centers and three county-level child and youth policy-makers (Fribourg, Valais, Vaud). The findings are that children’s participatory capability in organized leisure facilities depends on a combination of factors that are both societal (economical, political, organizational) and personal. Three forms of participatory capability emerge around the opportunities for effective participation that are provided by the children’s social environment, corresponding to (1) the adaptive participation, (2) the innovative participation and (3) the cooperative participation. However, there is no strict correspondence between the types of organization of leisure structures and forms of participatory capability. This is due to the mediation of “transactional horizons”, acting as symbolic landscapes that are channeling social interactions and the negotiation of forms of participation. This confirms the relevance of an interpretive approach to children’s rights in order to better understand how they actually translate into practice.

The study aims to identify guidelines for a system of institutionalized leisure services that best meets the needs of the population and the policies of the Russian state using the example of the activities of the Tver Regional Palace of Culture Proletarka. The materials included scientific publications and practical developments aimed at researching and creating aesthetically oriented services, and federal regulations. The author mainly used the structural-functional method to trace the emergence of various types of leisure practices in Russia and correlate its manifestations with modern forms of cultural organization. The author analyzes the concept “institutionalized leisure” and determines the state’s priorities in organizing various forms of such leisure. Events held by cultural and leisure institutions reflect the range of interests of cultural service consumers and the levels of their aesthetic development. The author considers traditions associated with the history of leisure in pre-Soviet Russia and characterizes its forms that were typical for representatives of social elites and for the general population; describes the ideological framework that dominated in the sphere of organizing leisure time in Soviet times. The author emphasizes that problems in this domain, which became relevant in the post-Soviet period, led to the need to provide it with state-level leadership. She explores the history of the regional Palace of Culture Proletarka, characterizes its activities as a subject of a market economy, and describes its work to overcome the complex contradictions that arise in its activities as a result of the forced combination of traditional and modern forms of leisure work. The author analyzes the cultural and leisure events organized at the Proletarka and aimed at achieving various aesthetic goals and notes the attractiveness, scale and thoughtfulness of these events. The main components of an optimal system for providing relevant services by leisure institutions have been identified: (1) desire to achieve the hedonic effect of cultural services; (2) receiving of aesthetic pleasure from leisure activities; (3) personal satisfaction from acquiring new knowledge and skills; (4) active participation of citizens in events with the possibility of remote attendance; (5) creation of moral guidelines in the process of organizing leisure time. The author emphasizes that the activities of the Proletarka are aimed at creating new forms of leisure that really take into account the interests of all subjects participating in this activity.

Abstract:
The purpose of the study presented in the article is the empirical study of the typical life spheres where social activity of young people is manifested. The empirical study was carried out on a sample of student youth ( N = 236), which included high school students from secondary schools ( n = 118) and students from higher educational institutions ( n = 118) from Saratov and the Saratov region. We used the questionnaire aimed at registering various forms of social activity and the degree of their manifestation (by R.M. Shamionov, I.V. Arendachuk, E.E. Bocharova, M.V. Grigorieva, A.I. Zagranichniy, M.A. Klenova, N.V. Usova, O.A. Cherekayeva, A.A. Sharov, 2018) and the technique called “Morphological Test of Life Values” (by V.F. Sopov, L.V. Karpushina, 2001) to study various life spheres. Presumably, there are typical spheres of manifestation of various forms of social activity, differing in content orientation. It has been established that the typical spheres of social activity manifestation in young people are the spheres of professional (educational and professional) life, social activity, education and hobbies. The study revealed the typical spheres for various forms of social activity manifestation. Among them are the sphere of professional (educational and professional) life, i.e. leisure, altruistic, socio-economic, spiritual, Internet-network, socio-political, and civil forms of activity; the sphere of social activity, i.e. leisure, altruistic, socio-economic, and socio-political forms of activity; the sphere of education, i.e. leisure, altruistic, educational and developmental, protest forms of activity; the hobby-related sphere, i.e. leisure, altruistic, spiritual, civil forms of activity; the sphere of family life, i.e. altruistic and subcultural forms of activity. We have discovered contradictory tendencies regarding functional manifestation in some forms of social activity in various life spheres and the restriction of other forms of social activity and areas of their manifestation. The applied aspect of the problem under study can be implemented in the development of youth policy programs.

Abstract:
In the modern world, leisure is one of the most important components of a person’s time budget, including military personnel. Many scientific papers have been devoted to its study. The article deals with the concept of leisure category and its meaning. For military personnel of the national guard of the Russian Federation, the goal of leisure is not only to restore spiritual and physical strength, but also to improve their education, Outlook, and physical development. Leisure in the life of military personnel plays an important role, as it is aimed at restoring and developing spiritual and physical strength, family cohesion, personal self-improvement, expanding horizons, as well as the transfer of life experience and moral values. On the basis of a sociological study conducted by the questionnaire method, the non-organizational leisure preferences of various groups of military personnel are analyzed. Non-organizational leisure is divided into home and non-home leisure. When conducting out-of-home leisure activities, the respondents of the first group give the greatest preference to entertainment forms of leisure (visiting cinemas, recreation parks, cafes, sports events), the respondents of the second group, in addition to entertainment forms of leisure, prefer spiritual and moral (visiting theaters, museums, religious institutions). When considering home forms of leisure, it was found that the leisure practices of the respondents of the first and second groups coincide. Despite the fact that the representatives of the first group one of the main leisure activities is self-education, they, unfortunately, exclude such leisure activities as visiting theaters, museums and organizing family performances. In our opinion, these types of leisure contribute to the moral and spiritual development of the individual and increase his self-education. Despite the fact that the results of the study showed that more than 80% of the surveyed military personnel are satisfied with their leisure time and carry out its planning, a number of negative factors have been identified that affect the implementation of leisure practices in full. If the main negative factors for the respondents of the second group are physiological, i.e. fatigue after work, then the respondents of the first group note equally the material (lack of money) and temporary (lack of time) factors, as well as the physiological factor (fatigue after work). The material factor noted by military personnel of the first group for the reason that their pay does not match the standard of living, as money reform the military, conducted in 2012, did not give the expected results in improving the material well-being of privates and sergeants.

Abstract:
The article examines the phenomenon of leisure as a unique phenomenon that contributes to the implementation and development of numerous types and forms of cultural and leisure activities. The purpose of the article is to study the peculiarities of the development of modern cultural and leisure centres of Ukraine in the environment of socio-cultural existence. The methodological basis of the study is the main provisions of cultural studies, sociology of culture, and social psychology, which consider leisure culture as a socio-cultural phenomenon. The scientific novelty consists in defining and clarifying scientific and theoretical approaches to the study of leisure in the framework of foreign and domestic research. Conclusions. The analysis of the process of formation and development of the phenomenon of cultural and leisure activities encourages the search for new optimal ways to improve the activities of cultural and leisure centres. The formation of new social relations actualises the study of the socio-cultural sphere, where culture is influenced by socio-political and socio-economic mechanisms, while directly affecting their development and becomes a kind of social catalyst. In particular, the philosophical aspects of leisure define it as a self-sufficient functioning system. There has also been an increase in scientific developments in leisure pedagogy, substantiation of the conceptual apparatus, principles, functions, main types, and organisational forms used in the practice of leisure activities. The socio-pedagogical aspect of leisure activities is reflected in the infrastructure, content, and leisure preferences to combine different levels of social environment organisation. It is noted that globalisation, increased competition, and deepening of information processes have led to the targeted development of cultural and leisure centres, because the level of state development in the modern world is measured, among other things, by the activities of cultural and leisure institutions.

Abstract:
Object. The article considers the issue of cultural and leisure activities of club youth centers of pedagogical higher educational institutions. The structure and types of leisure, forms of youth clubs` work are analyzed. Methods. The following methods were used when writing the article and searching for the material: analysis, synthesis, comparison. Results. One of the urgent problems of cultural and leisure activities of club youth centers of pedagogical higher educational institutions is the organization of youth leisure. Unfortunately, due to the socio-economic difficulties of society, the lack of adequate number of cultural institutions and insufficient attention to the organization of youth leisure, the development of non-institutional forms of youth leisure is most widespread. A new type of youth club is a qualitatively different social formation free from political layers, formalism, and strict regulation of internal life. This institution should help meet the growing interest of young people in their history, cultural and artistic origins, household traditions. The use of free time by young people is a kind of indicator of their culture, the range of spiritual needs and interests of a particular individual of young person or social group. As part of free time, leisure attracts young people by its lack of regulation and voluntary choice of its various forms, democracy, emotional color, the ability to combine physical and intellectual activities, creative and contemplative, production and play. Yu. Striltsov, A. Zharkov, V. Chizhikov, V. Kovshar, T. Kiselyova, Yu. Krasilnikov made a significant contribution to the scientific analysis of the theory and practice of cultural and leisure activities. Stylistic and structural features of free time are reflected in research F. Vidanova, V. Dimova, I. Evteeva, L. Kogan, V. Pichi, A. Shchavel. Such scientists as I. Andreeva, N. Golubkova, N. Litovska, L. Shvydka are working on the problems of youth subculture functioning and cultural socialization. Sociological studies of the spiritual young people needs in the field of leisure in the Ukrainian scientists woks I. Bekh, I. Zyazyun, G. Sagach, I. Stepanenko, P. Shcherban, J. Yuzvak are carefully analyzed. The youth club provides an opportunity to provide leisure as a means of entertainment and relaxation of individual and group stress; recreation as a means of replenishing psychophysical forces, restoring creative potential; compensation as a means of involvement in personally significant cultural values; socialization as a means of involvement in informal social processes and structures; self-actualization as a means of embodying individual creative interests, as well as self-development and self-realization of personal growth in culturally significant areas of society. Conclusions. So, today, given the rising spiritual young people`s needs, increasing the level of their education, culture, the most characteristic feature of youth leisure is the growing share of spiritual forms and ways of spending free time, combining entertainment, information, opportunity to create and learn new things. Such «synthetic» forms of leisure organization have become youth interest clubs, amateur associations, family clubs, art and technical clubs, discos, and youth cafe clubs.

Abstract:
The article discusses the anthropology of women's leisure activities in the German Democratic Republic. Women's free time in a totalitarian society is defined as quasi-leisure, conventionally divided into public leisure, associated with state mass events, and personal leisure, the content of which was mainly determined by women. Factors that determine the amount of time free from labor and social activities were identified. An analysis of high informative sources, such as women's periodicals and family documentaries of the GDR, allowed to identify aspects of rationing leisure practices by the state and the nature of public response to propaganda methods. The female press is considered as a mechanism for transmitting the normative image of a woman; the content and specifics of publications on free time in various magazines are revealed. The study of family documentaries published on the Internet within the «Open Memory box» – a GDR-specific project, allowed to identify the most common and significant forms of women's leisure activities. Among them there is a unique German tradition of «Freikörperkultur», a free-body culture preserved under socialism. Such forms of leisure activities as external and internal tourism, as well as spending time in the countryside, is analyzed in the context of submission and willfulness strategies within restrictions on freedom of movement under the SED dictatorship. Particular attention is paid to the transformation of the traditional German festival culture, as well as the introduction of «new» socialist holidays, including alternative forms of life cycle rites (for example a widely-used rite of passage for youth). Components of the international image of GDR, such as the «reading country» or the «sports nation», are analyzed based on women's periodicals and family documentaries..

In this article, the authors employ a leisure-based approach to the Las Vegas Massacre as a foundational case study on multiple murder as project-based deviant leisure. Homicidal leisure-based projects, as suggested here, may also amount to intuitive extensions of other higher-risk hobbies known as edgework. A leisure approach to understanding some forms of multiple murder provides valuable new insights while also integrating important tradition.

Abstract:
The purpose of the article is to analyze current trends in work and leisure. Digital transformations are taking place today. Forms of employment are changing. The author formulates several trends. For instance, there is a penetration of the elements of labor into the sphere of leisure. The more leisure is connected with digital platforms, the more it looks like digital employment. There is also a reverse process. Elements of leisure penetrate into the work process. There is a gamification of labor. Labor is combined with recreation and communications to extract additional profit. The boundaries of space and time for work and rest are shifting. There is a synchronization of types of work and leisure, both in person and online. The values of leisure outside the system of economic relations are disappearing. A person cannot be involved in a single process. There is another trend. There is "forced" leisure or "forced" unemployment due to the growth of precarity. New professions are needed for a new technological way of life. New forms of people's participation in production processes are needed. Part-time employment and freelancing are increasing. The number of digital platforms is increasing. This gives new opportunities but also a lot of risks, limitations, and challenges. This paper refers to the VTsIOM and Precariat 2022 studies. The author gives excerpts from the statements of the interview participants. In-depth interviews (n = 25) were conducted in the spring of 2023. Abstract:
The article is devoted to the analysis of peculiarities of cultural and leisure activity of rural youth. The need for a scientific analysis of the phenomenon of a youth holiday and especially its modern forms, for example, such as a flash mob, concerns the importance of festive culture in its modern forms for the cultural socialization of youth and the spiritual development of society. In the conditions of public consciousness modernization, the holiday as a form of cultural and leisure activity has a special functional burden in the system of free time for young people, primarily in line with the pedagogization of youth culture. However, this problem in modern socio-pedagogical literature is not deeply disclosed. The article justifies the author's position considering youth as an object of cultural and leisure influence from the point of view of its value-orientation attitude to leisure. Young people as an object of cultural and leisure influence are considered from the point of view of their value-orientation attitude to leisure. The analysis of the socio-cultural situation in the field of youth leisure of rural youth shows the transformation of traditional forms of leisure and the emergence of new – innovative technologies for youth leisure. The empirical material shows the educational potential of such an innovative technology for organizing youth leisure as a flash mob. Flash mob – a pre-planned mass action in which a large group of people appears in a public place, performs previously agreed actions according to the scenario and then breaks up. The most promising ones in educational practice are collective flash mobs, primarily song and dance, which do not take much time, in rare cases require large-scale training and can be used to work with almost all educational tasks. The author describes in detail the technological process of preparing and holding a flash mob as a mass youth holiday. The pedagogical effect of the mass youth holiday is proved, which is manifested in the development of group interaction skills and the self-organization of the youth association. Flash mob actions contribute to the development of active recreation, the manifestation of emotions in activities, the improvement of communication skills (due to involvement in the joint activity), self-approval in a socially approved type of activity.

Abstract:
The author’s attention is focused on identifying resources, forms, practices, places of formation and implementation, measures of state support for leisure solidarities of rural youth in the Krasnodar Territory. The theoretical contours of the study are outlined by the concept of spatial solidarity, realized in everyday interactions of representatives of various local communities (S. Oosterlynck), the interpretation of youth cultural practices through the prism of the solidarity approach (E. L. Omelchenko), focused on intra- and intergroup com-munications that contribute to the formation of collective identities in youth communities. The analytical optics of modern sociologists focuses not only on the macro level of con-structing dominant structural forms of solidarity within the borders of national states, but also on the micro level of achieving social cohesion of relational places (workplaces, leisure, educational, housing spaces). The design of the study is determined by the explication of sol-idarity as a set of social practices based on interdependence, meetings, common values, and the exchange of various resources, carried out in everyday leisure spaces by young residents of rural communities. The applied research was based on a strategy of mixing qualitative and quantitative methods (questionnaire and expert surveys, interviews). In 2022–2023, a survey of rural youth of Kuban was conducted (N=98, N=103), in 2023, interviews were conducted with experts (N=6) and schoolchildren (N=6) living in non-urbanized areas of the region. The places of construction of youth cohesion are designated as home, social networks, leisure institutions; two forms of youth solidarity are distinguished: direct/ascending and indirect/descend-ing. Barriers to the development of youth leisure solidarities in rural areas are identified: lack of human resources, poor material and technical equipment of cultural and leisure network facilities, lack of innovative creative cultural and leisure sites in rural settlements. The paper describes measures of state support for everyday cultural youth spaces in rural settlements of the Krasnodar Territory.

Abstract:
The study aimed at diagnosing the opinions of parents of children with mild and moderate intellectual disability on the forms and significance of leisure time behaviour. The study revealed that parents, siblings, or other family members were most often partners of leisure for intellectually disabled children. All the respondents declare that they know what their children are doing in their leisure time and who they spend it with. Leisure time appears to be the area of limitless rehabilitation opportunities, and therefore it should occupy a significant position both in scientific research and (perhaps predominantly) in practical activities undertaken to help children with intellectual disability. Extensive activity of the school, family environment and special education teachers themselves is required to implement leisure time as a vital element in the process of revalidation of intellectually disabled children.

Abstract:
Generation Z (Gen Z) is the best-educated, technologically adept, and most racially and ethnically diverse generation entering the workforce today. Gen Z also has the highest rate of diagnosed depression and anxiety. They prefer to have a side hustle on top of their full-time jobs; however, the act of monetizing their leisure activity has been shown to add more stress. The benefits of serious and casual leisure are shared; with emphasis on the need for Gen Z to engage in more forms of serious leisure to enhance their well-being and self-perceived employability. Employers and schools should encourage, promote and invest in more serious leisure activities for Gen Z. Continuing the emerging focus on research in leisure studies and careers, specifically focusing on Gen Z is highly recommended.

Abstract:
The article examines Old Russian texts through the prism of socio-anthropological theory. The author focuses on the texts in which the researcher can hear the “voice of Old Russian laziness”. The article provides an overview of fragments of ancient Russian texts in which the thoughts and emotions of an idle, lazy person are expressed. In addition, the article focuses on the cultural forms of idle, recreational behavior. The author shows that the ancient Russian society condemned some forms of idleness, and encouraged some forms of idleness. In the article, the author substantiates the thesis that many forms of leisure activities (for example, playing chess), which are considered respected forms of leisure in modern society, were strictly condemned by the church in ancient times and were officially prohibited. At the same time, some forms of idleness, condemned by the official, "high" culture, continued, nevertheless, to exist among the majority of the population. The author comes to the conclusion about the typological similarity of the ancient Russian culture of idleness with its contemporary medieval European.

Abstract:
ABSTRACTThis article forms a contribution to the ongoing debate about the nature of an English urban renaissance. We draw on Schwarz's designation of residential leisure towns to explore the spread of leisure and luxury through a broad range of towns. Our analysis reveals that leisure facilities and luxury service and retail provision were widespread, but that residential leisure towns appear as qualitatively different places, the status of which was contingent upon social profile and cultural-economy, rather than demographic, political or socio-economic make up. We conclude by arguing that urban typologies based on specialization should be tempered with older-established and more subjective categorizations based on the status of the town.

Abstract:
The COVID-19 pandemic has significantly transformed the lives of millions, including young people, who are in a vital stage during which leisure has had a preponderant role in their lifestyles, characterized by the search for experiences outside the family environment and forms of leisure dependent on friendships as a source for well-being (physical, cognitive, social, and emotional). This article explores how leisure becomes a form of negotiation among social needs, normative demands, and a particular crisis. It analyzes the transformations of leisure of young Spanish university students during confinement and the new normality. The sample is made up of 1066 young undergraduate university students between 17 and 25 years old residing in Spain. The quantitative findings revealed that (1) young people now value their leisure more than before the pandemic; (2) young people have transformed their leisure time and feel that their leisure has not been the same and will not be the same again; (3) the pandemic has especially affected their routines, relationships with friends, and psychological well-being; (4) they perceive that society has treated young people unfairly in relation to their leisure. The findings show the need to develop leisure policies and programs that address the short- and medium-term effects and transformations caused by COVID-19 on youth leisure.

Abstract:
The emergence of new forms of leisure in Iraqi urban landscapes, such as cinemas, nightclubs, and theaters, unleashed debates about the dangers and potentials of leisure. The result of this process is a vast, albeit scattered, archive of texts that deal with practices and institutions of leisure. The archive of leisure, as it pertains to cinema, can be located across a variety of texts including memoirs, short stories, student essays, police records, official discourse, medical texts, and works by Iraqi historians. Given the limited access to Iraqi film and cinema archives, the archive of leisure can offer an important addendum and a supplementary history of Iraqi cinema and cinemagoing. This article offers a new way to retrieve and think about cinematic pasts by examining different archives of leisure. Using these archives, it provides examples of how cinemagoing became a battleground for competing visions of class, morality, gender relations, and politics in early and mid twentieth century Iraq.

Abstract:
Reasonable layout of fitness and leisure places is an important part of the implementation of the national fitness strategy. The analysis of the spatial pattern and influence mechanism of fitness and leisure places from the perspective of city has certain guiding significance for optimizing urban planning and construction and rationally allocating sports resources. This paper uses kernel density, buffer zone, inverse distance interpolation, Kriging interpolation, geographical detector and other geographical spatial analysis methods to analyze the spatial distribution pattern and distribution causes of five types of fitness and leisure places in counties (cities, districts) under the jurisdiction of Jinhua City. It is found that the overall spatial distribution characteristics of fitness and leisure places in Jinhua City are ' core-periphery ', and different forms of fitness and leisure places show different distribution characteristics. The spatial pattern of fitness and leisure places in Jinhua City has the characteristics of relying on traffic arteries and high-density population areas, and has a positive correlation with the spatial layout of housing prices. Jinhua fitness and leisure places generally have good traffic accessibility.
