Preferovan&yacute;mi biomarkermi na pos&uacute;denie myokardi&aacute;lneho po&scaron;kodenia s&uacute; tropon&iacute;n T a&nbsp;tropon&iacute;n I. V&nbsp;s&uacute;časnosti je detekcia vzostupu a/ alebo poklesu tropon&iacute;nu z&aacute;sadn&aacute; pre stanovenie a&nbsp;potvrdenie diagn&oacute;zy ak&uacute;tneho infarktu myokardu. <strong>ABSTRACT</strong> The diagnosis of acute myocardial infarction has made great progress over the course of several decades, primarily due to developments in the field of investigation and laboratory methods. Currently, the confirmation of the diagnosis of an acute myocardial infarction plays a significant role in demonstrating the laboratory dynamics of cardio markers. The preferred biomarkers for the assessment of myocardial damage are troponin T and troponin I. For routine clinical use, the European Society of Cardiology recommends using high-sensitivity troponin (hs troponin). Other biomarkers, such as the MB isoform of creatine kinase, are considered less sensitive and less specific today, yet their use in clinical practice persists. Currently, the detection of the rise and/or fall of troponin is essential for establishing and confirming the diagnosis of acute myocardial infarction.
