Abstract:
This study aims to examine the values of etiquette (adab) of students towards teachers as viewed by three prominent Islamic scholars: Imam Ghazali, Imam Az-Zarnuji, and Imam An-Nawawi. Etiquette towards teachers is considered a fundamental aspect of the teacher-student relationship in Islamic education, which emphasizes not only academic achievement but also moral values and ethics. Imam Ghazali, in his works, stresses the importance of respect, humility, and sincere intention in learning. Imam Az-Zarnuji, in his book Ta'lim al-Muta'allim, offers practical guidelines on student etiquette, including how to speak and behave appropriately towards teachers. Meanwhile, Hadrotus Syaikh Hasyim Asy’ari, in Adabul Alim Wal Muta'allim, advises students to always maintain proper manners with their teachers as a form of respect for both the knowledge and its possessor. This research employs a qualitative approach with content analysis to explore and compare the views of these three scholars regarding student-teacher etiquette. The findings reveal that, despite differences in expression and detail, all three scholars agree on the significance of etiquette as a foundational element in the learning process. These values of etiquette include politeness, exemplarity, respect, and loyalty in the pursuit of knowledge. This study is expected to contribute to the development of Islamic education, particularly in strengthening the harmonious relationship between students and teachers based on the etiquette values espoused by these scholars.

This verse emphasizes the importance of faith and knowledge as elements that elevate a person's status in the sight of Allah. In Islam, knowledge is not only understood as theoretical insight but must also be actualized through practices aligned with Sharia guidelines. This study employs a qualitative approach with a thematic exegesis method to analyze the relationship between knowledge, action, and etiquette in Islam, highlighting etiquette as a crucial element in the learning process. While previous studies have largely discussed Q.S. Al-Mujadilah verse 11 in the context of the virtue of seeking knowledge, this article places special emphasis on the importance of applying knowledge in daily life. The application of knowledge is deemed essential in shaping noble character, aligned with the goals of national education. Through a review of classical and contemporary exegesis literature, this article concludes that an ideal learning process must be accompanied by etiquette and righteous deeds. This aims to ensure that knowledge does not remain mere theoretical understanding but also provides tangible benefits to individuals and society. Thus, the learning process becomes more holistic, encompassing intellectual, spiritual, and moral aspects. This conclusion supports the view that the integration of knowledge, action, and etiquette is a fundamental pillar in realizing the goals of Islamic education. Such an education is expected to produce individuals who are faithful, knowledgeable, and morally upright, in accordance with Islamic teachings and the nation's noble values.

Abstract:
In 2020 the coronavirus pandemic reached almost every country in the world and challenged their educational systems. This situation forced educators to shift to an online mode of teaching overnight. Many academic institutions that were earlier reluctant to change their traditional pedagogical approaches had no other option but to shift entirely to online teaching and learning. Thus, the role of ICTs in education, and email communication, in particular, has increased dramatically during the pandemic. A significant part of the educational process has turned to correspondence of students and teachers by corporate mail, to communication in chats and during online conferences. At the same time, students' lack of knowledge of electronic etiquette was revealed. They do not realise that writing status-congruent emails is a skill that requires high pragmatic competence and awareness of politeness conventions and email etiquette (also known as 'netiquette'). It turned out that most students had no ideas of electronic communication rules and did not observe even basic rules of electronic communication. So, students of two universities (teacher training and technical) were given a questionnaire on electronic etiquette. Then the authors analysed and compared students' answers and came up with recommendations on teaching electronic etiquette to students based on the test results. These recommendations can be further used in teaching practices, during English classes mostly.

Advancing times bring new methods and learning strategies. The progress of the times brings new learning methods and strategies. One model of distance learning is MOOC (Massive Open Online Course) or e-learning. E-Learning or electronic learning is a concept of computer-based learning by utilizing web and internet technology. This is done without face-to-face meetings or meetings between educators and students, enough through technology alone. But in Islamic education we also know the term transvering value or etiquette when we encounter educators at the majlis of science. So this concept will be contradictory and irrelevant to the development of the e-learning distance learning process (MOOC) which is based only on virtual encounters.

Abstract:
The author examines the process of creating and methodology of applying the mini-corps to solve the problems in the field of language choice learning in the sphere of speech etiquette. The different stages of compiling a mini-corps from the peculiarities of material collection to the construction of theoretical models of language use of speech etiquette are considered. The terminological apparatus of the study is introduced. The features of different methods are compared and the need for a comprehensive approach to compiling a mini-corpus is substantiated. The shortage of corpora for the study of language choice in a bilingual situation is stated. Advantages and disadvantages of the chosen methodology are described. In particular, the necessity of selecting authentic examples of spontaneous speech taken from videos based on the method of non-included observation is pointed out. The place of the mini-corpus technique in the set of methods used in this study is shown. The result is a corpus-based description of the algorithms of speakers' use of etiquette expressions in a particular language under the influence of various configurations of factors and parameters of the social context. It is concluded that this method allows, on the one hand, to obtain the necessary and sufficient material for the analysis, on the other hand, it does not involve the use and processing of a large array of data. The prospect of researching the method is to apply it in other situations of bilingualism in order to complement and correct the theoretical models obtained in the course of the study. Thus, the method of compiling bilingual mini-corps makes it possible to reach the level of generalization of linguistic facts, sufficient to build universal models for interpreting the patterns of language choice of etiquette expressions in bilingualism.

В исследовании доказано, что использование художественной литературы в обучении младших дошкольников правилам речевого этикета, даёт положительные результаты. In modern conditions, the formation of a culture of communication among preschoolers is an element of general culture. Therefore, cultivating goodwill and speech culture in relationships with other people becomes an important and necessary task of pre-school education. One of the components of the culture of communication is speech etiquette. Speech etiquette was considered in the works of A.A. Akishina, N.I. Formanovskaya and other researchers. In accordance with the Federal State Educational Standard for Education, the formation of speech etiquette in preschool children is achieved through the implementation by teachers of preschool educational organizations of the tasks of two educational areas, such as “Speech development” and “Social and communicative development”, which reflect issues of communication development. In this regard, one of the goals of a preschool teacher is to find effective didactic tools that help organize children’s activities during speech etiquette classes. Our study analyzes the state of the problem under study in psychological and pedagogical science, examines the methodology for teaching speech etiquette in the educational process of a preschool educational organization, and examines the possibilities of fiction in teaching younger preschoolers the rules of speech etiquette. In the study, we used such methods and techniques as reading, retelling, telling, and learning poems. The study proved that the use of fiction in teaching primary preschoolers the rules of speech ethics gives positive results.

In this way students pay less attention to explanations because they still have to learn while playing. This makes the teachers overwhelmed because they have to explain the material while the students are still in the stage of liking the game. The method used in this research is the development of the Analysis Design Development Implementation Evaluation (ADDIE) system. To measure the success rate of understanding daily etiquette and morals from students, a test instrument is used, namely the alpha testing instrument, namely expert review (experts) and beta which will later be in the form of pretest and posttest. The results obtained at this time is an application of learning etiquette and daily morality that has been tested using alpha and beta testing methods. Based on the results of the expert review that has been carried out, the results obtained are 4.1 in the Very Valid category. Furthermore, for the results of the field test, namely the alpha and beta tests obtained from the results of the pretest and posttest, the average student got 88 results in the high category. Abstract:
Twenty-four senior-level capstone engineering design projects were completed at a large, public, primarily undergraduate university involving 85 students (70 male and 15 female). All projects involved the design of equipment to facilitate physical activity for people with disabilities. The effects on: i) learning design, ii) attitude towards people with disabilities, iii) motivation to complete team design projects and iv) interdisciplinary collaboration were analyzed through 24 one-hour focus groups. We explored the student experience using a constructivist approach and grounded theory. Four major themes (with associated sub-themes) emerged from our data analysis: learning design (project management, iterative design process, and user-centered design), motivation to complete design (engineering, disabilities, user), perceptions of people with disabilities (previous experience, changed attitudes and beliefs), and multidisciplinary collaboration (etiquette presentation, communication between disciplines, defining roles and expectations). Students completing these projects were shown to appreciate user-centered design, exhibit greater motivation when able to meet and develop a relationship with their client in person, discuss altruistic factors regarding their capstone experience, and were able to develop strong multidisciplinary skills.

Abstract:

The paper is targeted to explore the intensification of communication among culturally diverse students by means of creating social media groups. In frames of the psycholinguistic experiment, Ukrainian and Chinese students were working together at detecting common, similar and distinct features in idioms from the Ukrainian, English and Chinese languages. They intented to decode the phraseological picture of the world of Ukrainian, English and Chinese. Participation in social media group enabled participants’ exchanging opinions and ideas in the process of learning English. Such intercultural interaction outlined the national-axiological characteristics of Ukrainian, Chinese and English, their outlook and behavioral patterns. Pedagogical observation and interviews with participants revealed that students, who participated in the social media project, learnt traditions, speech etiquette and social norms of other nations, fostered their English speaking and writing skills. It was noted that democratic, uncritical and open-minded style of communication in the social media group allowed participants to build informal cooperation, develop tolerance to fellow students, overcome self-doubt and get motivated to communicate with culturally diverse students.

Abstract:
The development of technology that continues to grow makes it easier for everyone to learn. Likewise with learning the Quran especially memorizing the Quran. Busyness experienced is not a reason not to memorize the Qura. Various online tools and applications can be used to memorize the Quran, one of which is the ‘tahfiz online’program. ‘Tahfiz Online’ is one of the means by which someone memorizes the Quran online by using whatsapp media. This study aims to describe the process of learning memorizing Quran which is carried out by the tahfiz online program which starts from the process of recruiting new students, the learning process, and evaluating the learning which is carried out by the Tahfiz Online program. The research method used is qualitative research with data collection methods of observation and interviews. The results of this study describe that new student recruitment activities carried out by the online tahfiz program are carried out with Alquran reading tests conducted by students by sending voice notes to the teacher (musyrif). Furthermore, in tahfiz learning activities, each student carries out two activities namely ziyadah (adding new memorize) and murajaah (repetition). Ziyadah activities are carried out every Monday to Friday by sending voice notes in the group that will be corrected by each musyrif. Whereas the deliberate activities carried out on Saturdays and Sundays are carried out in pairs. Evaluation of learning are carried out every week with aspects of assessment including daily memorization values, activeness in groups, etiquette, and ending with a final exam with the term IMTAK (Imtihan Akbar).

Abstract:
The article focuses on the ethical issues of distance learning as a challenge faced by education during the COVID-19 pandemic. The author considers the moral and value aspects of distance learning at different levels - from problems of an international nature to individual communication between teacher and student. The range of problems related to the ethical component of distance learning is quite wide: digital inequality, digital literacy, pedagogical relations between "digital aborigines" and "digital immigrants", features of the use of digital material, etc. The author demonstrates the ambiguity of the problems that arose in the era of the pandemic. Thus, on the one hand, distance education requires a complete transition to digital format, on the other - both sides of the educational process are not ready for this format, because they do not have the necessary technical knowledge. Ethical issues are often financially related, such as addressing digital inequality or digital literacy. The article emphasizes that the digitalization of education requires a high level of responsibility and trust from all participants in the educational process. The most important condition of ethical behavior is awareness of digital etiquette and the effectiveness of penalties for its violation or incentives for its observance: compliance with ethical standards is a fundamental condition for success in the format of distance learning. At the same time, this requires first of all the development of distance learning principles and a corresponding code of ethics at the level of a specific educational institution.

Abstract:
The article analyzes the problem of rhetorical competence formation of university students in the process of teaching Ukrainian for special purposes and proposes ways to solve it. Some aspects of the methodological system are proposed. Attention is focused on the peculiarities of students' rhetorical competence formation in the conditions of distance learning, in particular on the use of interactive forms and methods of distance learning, which contribute to the linguistic personality formation of the future specialist. One of the main tasks of higher education is the formation of rhetorical competence of university students. The approaches of scientists to the concepts of “rhetorical competence” and “formation of rhetorical competence” were analyzed and the conditions of rhetorical competence formation in the conditions of distance education were substantiated. It was found that scientific studies consider rhetorical competence as the ability to design effective and optimal communication for the speech situation; to realize one's own rhetorical resources in the process of professional activity, to increase the professional language image. Rhetorical education affects the formation of the language image and the trajectory of the professional career of the future specialist. Rhetorical competence involves the formation of personal qualities, the development of thinking, speech, the ability to conduct business communication according to the rules of etiquette. The process of rhetorical competence formation requires updating the methodical system, building the specifics of practical classes in the conditions of a distance learning mode and the complex realities of wartime in Ukraine.

Abstract:
Education in the era of globalization is not only challenged by academic demands but also by an alarming crisis of character. Issues such as the decline of politeness, the erosion of respect for teachers, and the weakening of ethical conduct in the learning process have become fundamental concerns that require serious attention. In this context, fiqh al-adab—which encompasses ethical guidelines governing the teacher-student relationship in Islamic educational tradition—offers a relevant and transformative solution. This study employs a library research method by examining classical works of scholars such as Imam Nawawi, Al-Ghazali, and Al-Zarnuji, and exploring their contributions to character development in students. The findings reveal that teachers’ adab, such as sincerity, patience, humility, and professionalism in teaching, significantly influence the creation of a respectful and effective learning environment. Meanwhile, students’ adab toward teachers and knowledge—such as humility, focus during learning, proper etiquette in the classroom, and sensitivity to the teacher’s condition—contributes to shaping learners who are not only knowledgeable but also morally upright. Therefore, fiqh al-adab serves as a normative foundation for revitalizing character education amidst the moral challenges facing today’s younger generation.

Abstract:
The subject of this article is self-study books and magazines addressed to Poles learning English in the years 1918–1939. The typological description of the sources, embedded in the text linguistics, draws attention to their specificity (structure, pragmatics, and cognitive aspect) and role in promoting the knowledge of English in the then popular self-education process. Discursively profiled in-depth analyses are used to reconstruct the ways of perceiving a native English-language user based on the content presented in the source material. They showed that the OTHER is a bearer of desirable features, both socially (respect for etiquette, respect for tradition, precision in expressing yourself) and psychologically (self-control, perseverance, well-understood cleverness), and is a representative of a powerful cultural heritage. The image created in this way motivated people to learn English and strengthened the growing prestige of this language in Poland.

Abstract:
In the conditions of modern Ukrainian society, the primary school teacher faces the problem of acquiring the spiritual heritage of his nation and using it in the process of formation of junior pupils’ national-language personality. In this regard, the question of learning the scientifi c heritage of Ukrainian scientists of the past and present is of great importance, especially in the process of New Ukrainian school development. Among the important and bright outstanding fi gures in Ukrainian culture and pedagogy, Ivan Ohiienko, known as a prominent fi gure in science and education, takes a special place. His scientifi c works contain a number of recommenda-tions and advice on the content, forms, methods and means of education, the use of which will contribute to the improvement of the primary education system. According to Ivan Ohiienko’s ideas, the tasks of primary education are realized fi rst of all through learning and understanding of the native language, history and national traditions. I. Ohiienko believed that only a competent teacher, aimed at self-improve-ment, can properly ensure the intellectual and spiritual development of the young generation. The teacher occupies a central place in the pedagogical process in the case of the pupil’s positive attitude to him, and aff ects the child’s consciousness, subconscious and feelings. Modern teacher has to rethink his own position in the educational process, up-date his professional thinking, focus on self-education and systematic analysis of his own teaching activities, tracking the eff ectiveness of their work through a monitoring system. The new teacher should teach children activity, teamwork skills, when they can complement each other, stimulate their self-development and self-improvement.

Abstract:
Today, one of the top priorities for linguistics is to study the factors that influence the effectiveness of interpersonal and intercultural communication. In the speech behavior of a communicative personality, a special place is occupied by such an objective speech genre as a compliment. A compliment is one of the most effective means of establishing contact between people. This genre of speech etiquette can play no less a role in the communication process than, for example, greeting, farewell or congratulations, and in many situations is a more appropriate and effective means of communication. However, such a genre as “compliment” is practically absent in the speech tools of a foreign student who is at the initial level of learning the Russian language. In the scientific literature, this topic is covered quite poorly (the emphasis is mainly on the advanced stage). Yet students of the initial level of study Russian as a foreign language (A1-A2) are quite able to master the simplest tactics and strategies of compliment (direct nomination, comparison). This work is devoted to the description of the introduction of the system of exercises on compliment at the initial level of learning Russian as a foreign language.
