This research uses qualitative research methods with library study and note taking techniques. The data in this research are transcripts of the film Miracle In Cell No. 7. The results of this research are the social reality of acts of violence, politics and death from the film Miracle In Cell No. 7. There are many incidents that occur. in accordance with social reality, such as in the death executions that occurred in Indonesia but the perpetrator was innocent, then when investigating cases, many police officers resorted to violence to obtain data. In Indonesia, there is a lot of bribery carried out by powerful people for their interests.

Mass communication is communication that involves the production and distribution of messages continuously (continuously) which are widespread so that they are accepted by individuals in society, based on existing technology and institutions. One of the mass communication forms of production and distribution that is most accepted by society is film. . Films are loved by all ages, in Indonesia films are currently experiencing quite rapid progress, one of which is the drama genre film, namely the film Miracle In Cell No.7. The film Miracle In Cell No.7 is a family film that contains many moral messages that can be used as life lessons for viewers, especially parents and children. Therefore, the focus of the research is to analyze the meaning of denotation, connotation and myth through the moral messages implied by the scenes, settings and characters presented in the film Miracle In Cell No.7. This research uses descriptive qualitative research. The object in this research is a scene that contains a moral message between children and their parents and the surrounding environment in the film Miracle in Cell 7. The results of this research can be concluded that in the film Miracle in Cell 7, which lasts 2 hours 25 minutes, using Indonesian, 12 scenes were found. there are 12 denotation sentences, 12 connotation sentences, 11 myth sentences and 12 moral message contents.Abstrak: Komunikasi massa adalah komunikasi yang melibatkan produksi dan distribusi pada pesan secara terus menerus (kontiniyu) yang bersifat meluas sehingga diterima oleh individu dalam masyarakat, berdasarkan teknologi dan lembaga yang ada, salah satu komunikasi massa yang bersifat produksi dan distribusi yang paling diterima oleh masyarakat adalah film. Film sangat banyak disukai oleh seluruh usia, di Indonesia saat ini film sedang mengalami kemajuan yang cukup pesat, salah satunya adalah film yang bergenre drama yaitu film Miracle In Cell No.7. film Miracle In Cell No.7 merupakan film keluarga yang terdapat banyak pesan moral yang bisa dijadikan pelajaran hidup bagi para penonton terutama bagi orang tua dan anak. Oleh sebab itu, fokus penelitiannya adalah menganalisis pemaknaan denotasi, konotasi dan mitos melalui pesan moral yang tersirat dari adegan, latar, serta tokoh yang disuguhkan dalam film Miracle In Cell No.7. Penelitian ini menggunakan menggunakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Objek dalam penelitian ini merupakan adegan atau Scene yang terdapat pesan moral anak dengan orang tua dan lingkungan sekitarnya film Miracle in Cell 7. Hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan pada film Miracle in Cell 7 yang berdurasi 2 jam 25 menit detik menggunakan bahasa Indonesia ditemukan 12 scene tersebut yang terdapat 12 kalimat denotatsi, 13 kalimat konotasi, 11 kalimat mitos dan 12 isi pesan moral.

The data source for this research is the film Miracle in Cell No. 7 by Hanung Bramantyo. The data analysis used descriptive analysis. The results of this study are 22 conversational data points containing conversational implications in the film Miracle in Cell No. 7 by Hanung Bramantyo, namely pragmatic implications of ordering, teaching, refusing, requesting, reminding, and informing facts. The results of this study can be used as a reference source for how to speak well in everyday life.

Film Miracle in Cell No. 7 versi Indonesia merupakan adaptasi yang dibuat karena kepopuleran versi aslinya, yakni versi Korea. Adaptasi tersebut dibuat berdasarkan resepsi yang diterima oleh sutradara Hanung Bramantyo yang dipengaruhi sosial budaya dalam masyarakat Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji perubahan aspek sosiologi dalam adaptasi Miracle in Cell No. 7 versi Indonesia dan penyebab dari berbagai perubahan tersebut. Metode yang digunakan penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Data penelitian antara lain adegan pada kedua versi film yang mengandung aspek sosiologis dan teks-teks sosial historis yang berkaitan dengan latar belakang film Miracle in Cell No. 7 versi Korea dan versi Indonesia. Untuk menelaah data-data tersebut, penelitian ini menggunakan teori sosiologi sastra yang berfokus pada konsep sosiologi karya sastra. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan, maka diketahui bahwa perubahan pada adaptasi film Miracle in Cell No. 7 Indonesia didasari oleh perbedaan latar belakang dan tujuan pembentukan film. Selain itu, perubahan juga disebabkan oleh adanya perbedaan sosial dan budaya masyarakat pada negara Indonesia dan Korea.

Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah deskripsi kualitatif dengan teknik analisis isi. sumber data dalam penelitian adalah film “Miracle In Cell No.7” Karya Lee Hwan Kyung. Hasil penelitian terungkap bahwa secara nilai moral keluarga film “Miracle In Cell No.7” mengandung nilai-nilai moral keluarga, yakni (1) terdapat nilai nurani yang terdiri dari kejujuran, keberanian, cinta damai, disiplin diri, dan nilai memberi seperti setia, hormat, cinta dan kasih saying, peka, tidak egois, adil, dan murah hati ditemukan dalam adegan-adegan film, (2) Adapun implikasinya terhadap pembelajaran sastra: dilihat dari bentuk nilai moral keluarga yang diteliti, peneliti mendapatkan bahwa film adalah sarana yang efektif dalam membangun karakter siswa dan menjadi media pembelajaran baik bagi siswa maupun sebagai film motivasi bagi setiap orang yang mentonnya.

Abstract:
A film poster is the identity of a film which functions as a promotional medium for the film. Promotion of the film Miracle in Cell No.7 by Hanung Bramantyo uses internet marketing techniques, by uploading film posters to social media. This research aims to analyze the various meanings of the signs implied in the film poster Miracle in Cell No.7. This research is qualitative research, the data analysis method consists of four stages of design review, namely, work description, formal analysis, interpretation, and evaluation. The work description describes all the elements contained in the film poster Miracle in Cell No.7. Formal analysis is technically discussing how basic elements such as illustrations, colors, and typography are arranged to form a single unit in an order or layout. Interpretation is interpreting the meaning of signs based on Charles Sanders Pierce's semiotic theory which includes icons, indices, and symbols. Evaluation is outlining the conclusions of all the stages that have been passed. The research results found that various signs were in harmony with each other so that they supported the message conveyed in the film poster. It was concluded that the visualization of the main illustrations, supporting visuals, colors, and typography displayed on the visual poster for the film Miracle in Cell No.7 gives an implied picture of a father's love for his daughter, until one day they had to separate because justice was not on his side

Banyak anak muda Indonesia yang masih kurang memiliki akhlak baik yang diakibatkan dari sistem pendidikan yang tidak terorganisir dengan baik, terutama di masa milenial. Film memiliki dampak yang sangat besar terhadap kehidupan masyarakat karena pesan dan informasi yang disampaikannya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meneliti film adaptasi Indonesia Miracle in Cell No. 7 guna mengetahui pelajaran pendidikan moral dan interpretasi nilai-nilai pendidikan akhlak apa saja yang ada di film tersebut agar bisa diterapkan oleh siswa dan orang tua siswa. Sampel penelitian ini berasal dari berbagai sumber, termasuk buku, film, artikel, majalah, narasi sejarah, dan penelitian terdahulu; jenis pengumpulan data yaitu penelitian kepustakaan kualitatif. Penulis mengembangkan kesimpulan tentang penggambaran film tentang prinsip-prinsip pendidikan akhlak setelah mempelajari dan mendiskusikan film Miracle in Cell No. 7. Hasilnya, ajaran akhlak yang disampaikan dalam film ini antara lain berdoa, rendah hati dan bersyukur, saling menolong, setia kawan, jujur, adil, menunjukkan kasih sayang, dan menjalankan agama. Film Miracle in Cell No. 7 yang terdiri dari sepuluh scene ini memberikan pelajaran akhlak melalui pesan-pesannya. Film Miracle in Cell No. 7 mengandung indikasi yang menunjukkan pelajaran akhlak yang ingin disampaikan kepada penonton. Siswa dan orang tua mereka harus berusaha untuk mengikuti ajaran akhlak yang disajikan.

Abstract:
This research scrutinizes the types of swearing words in “Miracle in Cell No.7” Indonesian Movie. The researchers revisit the types of swear words theory from Andersson & Trudgill. It aims to reveal the types of swear words found in the film Miracle in Cell no.7 based on the theory applied. The research method used is interpretive qualitative with a sociolinguistic approach because the data used is in linguistic phenomena contained in the film. The main data which is most used is the phrases and swear words uttered by the main character in the film Miracle in Cell no. 7 Indonesia Movie. The data is collected using the Listening (watching) technique and recording (notetaking) the swear words in the film. The collected data is then analysed based on the theory adapted from Andersson & Trudgill. From the results of data analysis, there were found 3 (three) types of swear words. Among the four types of swear words; Abusive types, Expletive types and Humor types.

Penelitian ini mengkaji gangguan berbahasa pada tokoh utama penyandang disabilitas intelektual dalam film “Miracle In Cell No. 7” versi Indonesia. Metode penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif adalah suatu metode penelitian yang digunakan untuk meneliti situasi pada objek yang alamiah serta hasil penelitian kualitatif lebih menekankan makna dari pada penalaran. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan pengamatan film, transkip dialog dan menganalisis isi yang berkaitan dengan gangguan berbahasa yang dialami oleh tokoh utama. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan kajian psikolinguistik dengan teori Scovel. Sumber data penelitian ini yaitu, sumber data primer melalui film “Miracle In Cell No. 7” versi Indonesia dan sumber data sekunder melalui berbagai macam literatur yang berkaitan dengan objek penelitian seperti penelitian terdahulu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan gangguan berbahasa pada tokoh utama individu disabilitas intelektual dalam film “Miracle In Cell No. 7” versi Indonesia yang mengalami keterbatasan pada kemampuan kognitif dan fungsi adaptif. Hasil temuan pada penelitian ini berjumlah 12 data yang menunjukkan adanya gangguan berbahasa pada tokoh utama dalam film “Miracle In Cell No. 7” versi Indonesia yang telah dianalisis berdasarkan teori Scovel berupa empat tahapan dalam produksi bahasa yaitu konseptualisasi, formulasi, artikulasi dan pemantauan diri. Penelitian ini berkontribusi terhadap dunia pendidikan yang dapat di gunakan guru sebagai salah satu bahan ajar terutama pada materi pelajaran bahasa Indonesia di sekolah.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat bagaimana respon siswa terhadap nilai-nilai moral dalam film Miracle In Cell No.7 Versi Indonesia. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan mix method. Teknik pengumpulan data penelitian yaitu wawancara, angket, dan studi dokumentasi. Responden penelitian berjumlah 29 orang siswa kelas XI Elektronika dan informan penelitian ditentukan dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling yang berjumlah 10 orang yaitu siswa kelas XI Elektronika. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa berdasarkan respon kognitif siswa dapat menemukan nilai-nilai moral yang terdapat dalam film Miracle In Cell No.7 versi Indonesia dan memahami scene yang berkenaan dengan nilai-nilai yang ditemukan. Adapun nilai-nilai tersebut diantaranya nilai kejujuran, nilai tanggung jawab, nilai kemandirian moral, nilai rendah hati dan nilai keberanian moral. Berdasarkan respon afektif siswa cenderung merasa terharu, sedih, deg-degan, senang dan bangga ketika menyaksikan scene-scene yang berkaitan dengan nilai-nilai moral. Sedangkan berdasarkan respon konatif menunjukkan scene-scene pada film Miracle In Cell No.7 versi Indonesia mampu mempengaruhi siswa dengan mendorong dan memotivasi siswa untuk melakukan tindakan yang sesuai dengan nilai moral yang ditemukan.

A movie’s visual aspect plays a significant role in conveying messages to the audience and building emotional realizations. Mise en scene is one such visual aspect. Based on this explanation, this study aims to find out how mise en scene helps visualize discrimination scenes in the film Miracle In Cell Numb. 7. In 2013, Miracle In Cell Numb. 7 was released as one of the most heartbreaking dramas in South Korea. The selection focuses on the theory of mise en scene by David Bordwell and Kristin Thompsons as the main theory, the theory of discrimination by Jimly Asshiddiqe and ableism by Fiona K Campbell as supporting theories to discuss discrimination, and the theory of the dramatic structure of the Freytag pyramid as a supporting theory to classify scenes of discrimination. The type of research undertaken is qualitative research using descriptive writing techniques. According to this research, aspects of mise en scene in Miracle in Cell Numb. 7 can visualize a discrimination scene by relating aspects of mise en scene to disparities

The Indonesian version of Miracle In Cell No.7 is a 145-minute melodrama and family comedy released on September 8, 2022 The object of study of this study is the Indonesian version of the film Miracle in Cell No. 7, tells the story of Dodo Rozak who has a mental limitation (Disability) He has a child named Kartika. Qualitative research emphasizes the observation of a phenomenon and requires a keen instinct from the researcher. The object of this study is the film Miracle in Cell No. 7 which tells the story of Dodo Rozak who has a mental limitation or a disability. The paradigm that will be used in this study is constructivism. The method to be used semiotic analysis from Roland Barthles which examines connotative, denotative and myth. Research data collection techniques use interviews and documentation and search for data from journals, articles, theses, books, and online media. Researchers are interested in analyzing what moral messages the cast and director want to convey in this film to the audience or audience. As a result, researchers understand that every human being who has a deficiency who is born as a disabled person can also provide moral messages in the form of honesty, sincerity, resignation, patience, sincerity, helpfulness to humans who are born normal, the figure of a child raised by a disabled person grows up with a moral attitude of filial piety to the figure he loves, the emotional bond of father and son who love each other, From this film researchers can also know that the law is "a law that puts justice blunt up and pointed down". Penelitian kualitatif menekankan pada pengamatan terhadap suatu fenomena dan membutuhkan insting yang tajam dari peneliti. Objek kajian ini penelitian adalah film Miracle in Cell No. 7 yang menceritakan kisah Dodo Rozak yang memiliki keterbatasan mental atau seorang difabel. Paradigma yang akan digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah kontruksivisme. Metode yang akan digunakan analisis semiotika dari Roland Barthles yang menguji tentang konotatif, denotatif dan mitos. Teknik pengumpulan data penelitian menggunakan wawancara dan dokumentasi serta mencari data dari jurnal, artikel, skripsi, buku, dan media online. peneliti tertarik menanalisis terkait pesan moral apa yang ingin disampaikan pemain dan sutradara pada film ini kepada penonton atau khalayak . Akibatnya, peneliti mengerti bahwa setiap manusia yang memiliki kekurangan yang terlahir sebagai seorang difabel juga dapat memberikan pesan moral berupa sikap jujur, sikap Ikhlas, pasrah, sabar, tulus, sikap tolong-menolong kepada manusia yang terlahir normal, sosok anak yang dibesarkan seorang difabel tumbuh dengan sikap moral baktinya kepada sosok yang ia cintai, ikatan emosional dari ayah dan anak yang saling menyayangi, dari film ini juga peneliti dapat mengetahui bahwa hukum yang ad aitu adalah “hukum yang meletakan keadilan yang tumpul keatas dan runcing kebawah”. Meskipun begitu seorang yang memiliki kesenjangan sosial juga berhak menerima keadilan.

Film merupakan sebagai media hiburan, informasi dan penyampaian pesan yang dapat memberikan pengaruh pada masyarakat merujuk pada isi pesan pada film ini. Film berjudul “Miracle in Cell No. 7 (2013)” termasuk film yang menggambarkan mengenai perjuangan ayah pada anaknya dengan rela berkorban untuk kebahagiaan anaknya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menjelaskan representasi peran ayah dalam “Miracle in Cell No.7 (2013)” dengan menggunakan analisis semiotika John Fiske. Teknik analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah semiotika John Fiske dengan menggunakan tiga level analisis yaitu level realistis, level representasi, dan level ideologi. Hasil penelitian yang disajikan pada tiga level analisis semiotika John Fiske yaitu level realitas yang digambarkan dengan tata rias/pakaian, efek visual, lingkungan dan ekspresi. Level representatif digambarkan dengan sudut pengambilan gambar, editing, musik, dan suara. Terakhir level ideologi, peran ayah menurut John Fiske yang menjadi temuan dalam penelitian ini yaitu peran ayah sebagai economic provider, protector, playmate, caregiver, dan role model. Secara keseluruhan menunjukkan bahwa dalam film “Miracle in Cell No.7 (2013)” mampu mempresentasikan peran ayah sebagai single parent yang sangat menyayangi dan melindungi anaknya meskipun dia memiliki keterbatasan.

Abstract:
Describing real, imaginary, and symbolic analysis in Miracle in Cell No. 7 using Jacques Lacan's psychoanalytic theory was the goal of this research. The research method used is qualitative descriptive. The instrument used is the documentation of the film. Data collection techniques are used to study libraries, recording and recording techniques that cover scenes, clips, durations, and setting aspects. Data analysis techniques are performed consisting of reducing data that emerges from the records of research objects, displaying data in the form of narratives, and verification by drawing conclusions. The results of the research showed that in the real phase, the visible protagonist showed deep affection for his daughter, depicting a warm father-child relationship. The imaginary phase, which marks the child's self-identification process through the mirror phase where unfulfilled desires can lead to a feeling of separation from parents that shows the great hope of parents for their daughters to be successful and happy. This dream shows Dodo's great desire for his family and the imaginative attraction to find meaning and purpose in a difficult life.

How are textual relationships smuggled into recycled film? when and where does this process stop? If it ends, what is the recycled film like after being fucked with meaning? It is these questions that the writer poses in analyzing the inter-text relationships contained in the film Miracle in Cell No. 7 original version (South Korea) and Indonesian version remake. The Indonesian version of Hanung Bramantyo’s work is the result of recycling activities while broadening and deepening the elements of the original source, while still guarding his personal aesthetic corridor. By using a qualitative paradigm, the approach is carried out by using textual studies on recycled films, especially in the structure that is produced compared to the narrative findings of the original film model. This paper attempts to provide a broad and systematic approach to the phenomenon of cinematic remake based on the theory of intertextuality. The research results reveal a fundamental proposition about the conception of film recycling. The results of the study also show that every time a recycled film is created, there will actually be a change in the original text such as a quote that is grafted into a new context through a cultural background that forms narrative and cinematic content, and thus it is inevitable that the work will be reflected and then disseminated.Bagaimana hubungan antarteks diselundupkan ke dalam film daur ulang? kapan dan di mana proses ini berhenti? Jika berakhir, seperti apakah film daur ulang setelah disetubuhi makna? Pertanyaan-pertanyaan inilah yang penulis ajukan dalam menganalisis hubungan antarteks yang termuat dalam film Miracle in Cell No. 7 versi asli (Korea Selatan) dan remake versi Indonesia. Karya Hanung Bramantyo versi Indonesia tersebut merupakan hasil kegiatan mendaur ulang sembari memperluas dan memperdalam unsur-unsur sumber aslinya, sekaligus tetap mengawal koridor personal estetiknya. Dengan menggunakan paradigma kualitatif, pendekatan dilakukan dengan menggunakan kajian tekstual pada film daur ulang, khususnya di bagian struktur yang diproduksi dibandingkan dengan penemuan naratif model film aslinya. Tulisan ini berusaha memberikan pendekatan yang luas dan sistematis terhadap fenomena remake sinematik berdasarkan teori intertekstualitas. Hasil penelitian menyingkap satu proposisi mendasar tentang konsepsi daur ulang film. Hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan bahwa setiap terciptanya daur ulang film sejatinya akan terjadi pengubahan teks asli seperti sebuah kutipan yang dicangkokkan ke dalam konteks baru melalui latar budaya yang membentuk konten naratif maupun sinematik, dan dengan demikian tidak terelakkan karya tersebut akan direfleksikan lalu disebarluaskan.

Abstract:
This research is a study of the language disorder of the character Dodo Rozak in the Indonesian version of the film Miracle in Cell No.7. The research aims to describe explanations regarding how people with intellectual disabilities speak with their speech partners. The research uses qualitative descriptive methods. This language disorder analysis focuses on three branches of linguistics, namely phonology, morphology and syntax. In this study, the phonological aspect error data taken were words that experienced changes, deletions and replacements of phonemes in the film Miracle in Cell No. 7. Then the error data in the morphological aspect is a word that has an error in adding affixes. After that, syntactic aspect errors are data in the form of sentences whose structure does not match language rules. Data collection techniques use listening and note-taking techniques. The data analysis technique uses the matching technique where the basic technique uses the PUP technique (segregate the elements of panentu) and the advanced technique uses the HBB technique (connection of different comparisons). The results of this research show that in the film Miracle in Cell No. 7 there are language errors in the form of phonological, morphological and syntactic errors.

The Indonesian version of the movie "Miracle in Cell No. 7" carries the theme of legal injustice that is very relevant to the lives of Indonesian people. Through message content analysis, this study discusses how the movie communicates messages about legal injustice through the story of Dodo Rozak, a mentally retarded father accused of murder. The analysis shows that the film uses effective storytelling strategies to portray legal injustice, including the use of sympathy and empathy towards Dodo Rozak, as well as the depiction of a corrupt and unfair legal system. The movie also features the struggle of Dodo and his daughter, Kartika, to get justice. Thus, this study shows that the Indonesian version of "Miracle in Cell No. 7" can be an effective tool to raise public awareness about the importance of justice and humanity in the legal system.

Melalui kajian Neurolinguitik, akan ditemukan penyimpangan bahasa pada tokoh Dodo. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui gangguan berbahasa dari pelepasan, penambahan, dan ganti dari tuturan tokoh Dodo. Metode kualitatif deskritif digunakan dalam penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan gangguan berbahasa dilihat dari pelepasan, penambahan, dan ganti. Data dikumpulkan dari dialog tokoh Dodo pada film Miracle In Call No.7. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik membaca, menyimak, dan menulis berdasarkan kajian Neurolinguistik. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa, terdapat 6 fonem pada pelepasan, 6 fonem pada penambahan, dan 9 fonem pada ganti. Maka, proses penggantian fonem lebih banyak ditemukan pada penuturan tokoh Dodo.

On this movie raised the man in a way unusual, there is a portrait of hegemony masculinity. The research is the method qualitative descriptive of the literature study to analyze hegemony masculinity in movie miracle in cell no. 7. On this movie shows there are a number of things with masculinity in which a figure of a man is not just work it, but able to care for and raise a child alone on the identical with women. The hegemony masculinity indicated the principal character can be seen from the, behavior, and the story illustrated clearly and points the man very concern for his daughter.

 Era digital saat ini sangat memudahkan masyarakat dalam berbagai hal, termasuk dalam mencari hiburan seperti menonton film. Film merupakan salah satu media yang bisa mempengaruhi masyarakat secara emosional. Film juga menjadi suatu wadah yang mampu menyampaikan pesan kepada penonton dan menumbuhkan rasa simpati serta empati. Salah satu film yang cukup populer dan memiliki pesan di dalamnya adalah Miracle in Cell No. 7. Pada film ini mengangkat tokoh lelaki dengan cara tidak biasa, yaitu terdapat potret hegemoni maskulinitas. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan adanya studi pustaka untuk menganalisis hegemoni maskulinitas pada film Miracle in Cell No. 7. Pada film ini terdapat beberapa hal yang menunjukkan sisi maskulinitas di mana sosok seorang pria bukan sekadar bekerja saja, tetapi mampu merawat dan membesarkan seorang anak seorang diri yang pada masyarakat identik dengan perempuan. Sisi hegemoni maskulinitas yang ditunjukkan tokoh utama terlihat dari sikap, perilaku, dan arah cerita yang tergambarkan dengan jelas serta menunjukkan sosok laki-laki yang sangat sayang terhadap anak perempuannya.

Movies always have an impact on society based on the message they convey. The film's message has the potential to influence the audience's thinking and behaviour. This review examines the socioeconomic disparity depicted in the film Miracle in Cell No. 7 in order to highlight the message conveyed. The purpose of this review is to discover the conflicts shown in the film, as well as the messages included and packed by the filmmaker. The Robert N. Etman Media Text Framing Analysis model was used to analyze this study, which includes four research analysis tools: problem identification (defining the problem), causal interpretation (estimating the problem or source of the problem), moral evaluation (making a moral decision on the problem), and treatment recommendations (emphasizing problem solving) with a critical perspective within the Frankfurt School's critical theory paradigm. The findings of this study reveal that the components that depict conflict in this film are drawn from societal occurrences. Reviewers can use the framing model to uncover messages in the film, such as praiseworthy messages or good attitudes.

The formulation of the research problem studied raised the learning media for the cinematography course using the Miracle In Cell No. film. 7 versions of the Indonesian language that use the variables of movie viewing (X) and viewing interest (Y) with the aim of testing students' films among students who watch film shows. Quantitative descriptive analysis with the method used in the study by distributing questionnaires to a sample of 62 students of the Faculty of Communication and Language Sciences, University of Bina Sarana Informatika, Kalimalang Branch. This study uses analytical techniques using regression testing to test the hypothesis. It can be concluded that it is very influential by looking at the results of hypothesis testing, it is obtained tcount 3,369 > ttable (? 60) of 1,671 besides that based on the probability value it can be seen that the probability value (sig) of 0.001 < 0.05, then Ho is rejected and H1 is accepted.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan nilai-nilai heroism yang terkandung dalam film Miracle in Cell No.7 karya Hanung Bramantyo. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan analisis isi secara menyeluruh. Data dikumpulkan melalui penelitian pustaka dari jurnal, buku, dan kertas kerja. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa film tersebut mencerminkan nilai heroisme dengan adanya 12 adegan yang menunjukkan bantuan kepada individu, kelompok, atau komunitas. Selain itu, terlihat bahwa karakter dalam film ini terlibat secara sukarela, memiliki kesadaran akan risiko, bersedia melakukan pengorbanan, dan tidak mengharapkan keuntungan eksternal saat melakukan tindakan heroik. Temuan ini menggambarkan bahwa nilai heroisme, terutama dalam konteks membantu individu, kelompok, atau komunitas, mendominasi dalam film ini. Oleh karena itu, film Miracle in Cell No.7 dapat menjadi inspirasi dan motivasi bagi penonton dalam memahami serta mengaplikasikan nilai heroisme dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia.

Abstract:
This research aims to describe the construction of masculinity in the main character in the Indonesian version of Miracle in Cell No. 7 and its utilization in literature learning. This research uses the descriptive-qualitative method; the data obtained is obtained through listening and note-taking techniques, then classified in the form of notes and documented in the form of screenshots. Data analysis in this research uses content analysis techniques. The results of this study reveal that the construction of masculinity in the Indonesian version of Miracle in Cell No. 7 is represented in an unusual form in general but still maintains its masculinity traits. The character Dodo Rozak has seven characteristics of masculinity, according to Chafetz, namely: male physical appearance; male functional; male sexual; emotional; intellectual; male interpersonal; and personal character. The characteristics of masculinity are used as an alternative teaching option in Indonesian language subjects at the high school level, especially in the context of learning literature, namely drama texts, specifically analyzing the content and language of dramas watched, in accordance with KD 3.19.

Film is a powerful and effective communication medium to convey messages to the audience. Not only as entertainment, in the film there are also messages and life values that can be taken as teachings in everyday life. The movie Miracle in Cell No. 7 is one of the films that contains a message in it. As viewers, we are not only connoisseurs but also can interpret any message contained in the film. This can be referred to as reception analysis. The point of view of each audience in interpreting the message in a film is certainly different, there are three audience positions in the process of receiving messages in Stuart Hall's theory, namely Dominant Hegemonic Position, Negotiated Position, and Oppositional Position. The director has a very important role to make the moral message in a film, but the audience also has the right to have different opinions to interpret the message in the film. In Miracle in Cell No. 7, five informants have succeeded in processing and interpreting moral messages well with their respective points of view, four of whom fully agree in interpreting moral messages which fall into the category of dominant hegemonic position. While one other person does not fully agree with the message conveyed but there is another refutation behind the message conveyed which is categorized as negotiated position. The difference in position is influenced by the background knowledge and experience of each subject.

Kalimat-kalimat yang termasuk dalam tindak tutur ekspresif yang digunakan oleh tokoh Dodo Rozak merupakan data penelitian ini. Film Miracle in Cell No. 7 yang dirilis di Indonesia pada tahun 2022 menjadi sumber data penelitian ini. Menyimak bebas adalah metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Empat tahap terdiri dari model analisis data interaktif, yang digunakan untuk menganalisis data yang diperoleh: pengumpulan data, reduksi data, displai data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tindak tutur ekspresif yang ditunjukkan oleh para tokoh dalam film Dodo Rozak meliputi tindak tutur langsung tidak literal, tindak tutur tidak langsung tidak literal, dan tindak tutur langsung literal. Menyatakan sikap dan menyampaikan permintaan maaf, rasa terima kasih, atau simpati merupakan contoh tindak tutur langsung literal. Selain itu, menyampaikan sikap dan menunjukkan simpati termasuk dalam tindak tutur tidak langsung literal. Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah karena pendidikan karakter saat ini belum efektif dalam membentuk karakter siswa, dengan hilangnya nilai-nilai positif sering disebabkan oleh segelintir siswa. Pendidikan karakter sangat penting dalam sistem pendidikan, dengan tujuan utama membentuk perilaku yang baik. Namun, dalam praktiknya, guru sering tidak optimal dalam pembelajaran, termasuk dalam penggunaan media pembelajaran. Penguasaan teknologi media pembelajaran, seperti media audio visual, sangat dibutuhkan. Film “Miracle In Cell No.7” karya Hanung Bramantyo adalah contoh media audio visual yang cocok untuk pembelajaran berbasis karakter. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik observasi, teknik studi pustaka, teknik dokumentasi, teknik analisis, dan teknik mencatat. Fokus penelitian ini yaitu berupa nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter menurut Profil Pelajar Pancasila dan kriteria media pembelajaran menurut Ramli. Hasil penelitian mencakup karakteristik bentuk nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter dalam film Miracle In Cell No.7 mencakup “bertakwa kepada Tuhan Yang Maha Esa, dan berakhlak mulia”, “berkebhinekaan global”, “bergotong royong”, “mandiri”, “bernalar kritis”, “kreatif” yang terbagi dalam 30 bentuk data nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter diantaranya 1) Beriman dan Bertakwa kepada Tuhan Yang Maha Esa 14 data, 2) Berkebhinekaan Global 5 data, 3) Bergotong Royong 7 data, 4) Mandiri 1 data, 5) Bernalar Kritis 1 data, dan 6) Kreatif 2 data. Hasil penelitian ini dapat berimplikasi pada model pengembangan media pembelajaran berdimensi pendidikan karakter, karena sudah sesuai dengan kriteria media pembelajaran.

Hence, The main purpose of this paper is to find out one of main character’s in Miracle in Cell No. 7 psychological analysis through theory of psychoanalysis by Sigmund Freud, more specific from the desire perspective. This paper will apply a qualitative method since the data source was taken from a movie that mostly contains data in form of conversation, expression, voice, and situation also crucial. The analysis shows Dodo Rozak’s desire was portrayed in the form of love action by always prioritizing his daughter, saving his friend from accident, and willing to sacrifice his life for his daughter.

With a descriptive qualitative approach and literature study, this paper seeks to find the meaning of justice and other moral messages in the film miracle in Cell no.7. Which brings people to the point of passion for their respective lives, because in the reality of social life there are still many values that are contrary to the truth. Especially in the legal world, sometimes the law only favors those who are stronger and forgets those who are weak. This certainly happens because of legal inequality and the non-enactment of the value of justice which should be the right of all human beings. Therefore, this paper wants to offer the spirit of learning through film to reflect with social phenomena that occur in the reality of society and be more sensitive to the value of justice that should be the right of all people.

Hal ini tentunya terjadi karena ketimpangan hukum dan tidak di berlakukannya nilai keadilan yang seharusnya menjadi hak semua manusia. The study was the conducted by applying quantitative data with qualitative results as the findings. The data was alayzed by the moral value and character theory proposed by Bollen ( sacrifice, mutual help, love and affection, keeping promise, upholding justice, dedicated) and the character education (honesty, never give up, returning the favour, independence, responsibility, friendship, curiosity). After analzing the data, the researchers found that the movie performed all types of moral value such as is, sacrifice, mutual help, love and affection, keeping promises, justice, devoted with the character of, honesty, never give up, return, fair attitude, independent, responsibility, friendship, and curiosity. Therefore, the researchers concludes that it is deeply recommended to watch since it really shows the good moral value for audience or students especially to act in daily life.

The activity of watching the film ‘Miracle in Cell No. 7’ together with children aims to build empathy and togetherness among participants. This film, which tells the emotional relationship between a father and his child amidst significant challenges, offers profound humanitarian values. The methodology used includes organizing the event in the RT 08 RW 01 area, where children are invited to watch the film together, followed by an interactive discussion about the themes presented in the film. The results of this activity indicate an increase in children's understanding of the importance of empathy and cooperation, as well as creating a positive atmosphere of togetherness. This activity is expected to serve as a model for similar programs in the future, in an effort to strengthen social values among the younger generation.

Sementara itu menurut Barthes, semiotika adalah ilmu yang digunakan untuk mengartikan suatu tanda, di mana bahasa juga merupakan susunan atas tanda-tanda yang memiliki pesan tertentu dari masyarakat. Tanda - tanda tersebut dapat berupa lagu, dialog, not musik, logo, gambar, mimik wajah, hingga gerak tubuh. Pada penelitian ini, metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan paradigma interpretif. Kualitatif deskriptif adalah salah satu teknik atau metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian kualitatif. Penelitian kualitatif merupakan penelitian yang lebih menekankan kepada pengamatan suatu fenomena dan memerlukan insting yang tajam dari peneliti. Objek kajian dari penelitian ini adalah film Miracle in Cell No. 7, menceritakan tentang kisah Dodo Rozak yang memiliki keterbatasan mental. Ia memiliki anak perempuan cantik dan baik bernama Kartika. Dalam film ini, Dodo dituduh sebagai pelaku pembunuhan dan pemerkosaan gadis kecil bernama Melati, seorang putri dari pejabat terkenal lalu dibawa ke ranah hukum dan mendapatkan hukuman mati sehingga harus berpisah dari putrinya, Kartika. Walaupun Bapak Dodo seorang difabel, ia terus berusaha menjadi seorang ayah yang sempurna demi membahagiakan Kartika. Maka dari itu, peneliti tertarik dengan cara Bapak Dodo mengekspresikan apa yang ia rasakan sebagai bagian dari berkomunikasi. Hasilnya, peneliti memahami bahwa masing-masing manusia memiliki caranya sendiri bahkan cara Bapak Dodo bisa terbilang unik. Peneliti juga berharap agar masyarakat dapat memahami juga agar tidak terjadi penghakiman sendiri.

Penelitian ini mencoba menguraikan beberapa tema yakni: cinta tanpa syarat, solidaritas dalam komunitas, dan resistensi terhadap ketidakadilan. Ketulusan dan keikhlasan para tokoh merupakan sebuah refleksi dari konsep Sunder Warumbe, di mana cinta diwujudkan tanpa pamrih. Penulis juga menghubungkan penderitaan dan ketabahan Dodo dengan kisah Ayub di dalam Alkitab sebagai sudut pandang teologis. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode analisis deskriptif. Data di dapatkan melalui tuturan ilokusi yang dituturkan para pemeran film. Sumber data penelitian ini berupa kata atau kalimat dalam dialog film. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik simak dan catat. Kemudian peneliti menggunakan teknik analisis data dari Miles dan Huberman yaitu dengan cara mereduksi data, menyajikan data, dan memberikan kesimpulan pada hasil penelitian. Penelitian ini memperoleh sebanyak 45 jenis data tindak tutur ilokusi berupa tindak asertif, direktif, komisif, ekspresif, dan deklaratif penelitian ini. Peneliti menyimpulkan jenis tindak tutur ekspresif sebagai jenis tindak tutur ilokusi yang paling dominan muncul pada penelitian ini.

Film serves as a vital medium for reflecting cultural values and functions as an effective tool for intercultural communication. This study explores the differences in communication styles between the Korean and Indonesian adaptations of Miracle in Cell No. 7, focusing on how culture influences the expression of emotions, authority, and moral values through verbal and nonverbal elements. Employing a mixed-method approach, this research integrates qualitative thematic analysis (Braun & Clarke, 2006) to examine key scenes, along with quantitative coding to statistically compare communicative elements. Hall’s (1976) theory of high-context and low-context communication provides the main theoretical framework to understand the intercultural distinctions between the two versions. The results show that the Korean adaptation relies more heavily on gestures (53.33%), such as physical aggression and exaggerated movements, while the Indonesian version (42.86%) places greater emphasis on verbal articulation and religious expression. Dramatic tonal shifts are more common in the Korean version (26.67%), whereas the Indonesian adaptation (28.57%) maintains a more controlled tone of voice. Facial expressions are more exaggerated in the Korean version (6.67%), particularly in scenes involving authority, while the Indonesian characters (9.52%) display subtler and more restrained expressions. Implicit communication, including religious symbolism, is more prominent in the Indonesian adaptation (19.05%), incorporating Islamic prayers and teachings, whereas the Korean version (13.33%) subtly includes Christian elements. This study reveals that while both adaptations reflect high-context communication cultures, the Korean version emphasizes physical expressiveness and hierarchical interaction, while the Indonesian version highlights verbal communication, religious themes, and emotional restraint. These findings reinforce the role of cinema as a medium for identity representation and cross-cultural understanding.

This research enriches the rare discussion of adaptation especially related to representation of local culture in cross-border film adaptations. While many studies focus on narrative and thematic changes, in-depth analysis of how local culture, such as social values, traditions, and Indonesian identity are adapted in the story is still minimal. This research explores how Korean cultural elements in the film Miracle in Cell No. 7 are adapted into Indonesian culture and are adjusted to Indonesian values in the adaptation version. Using the theory of transstylization by Genette (1997) and the theory of seven cultural elements by Koentjaraningrat (1986), it was found that five cultural elements underwent changes, namely language, religion, knowledge system, living equipment, and livelihood system. This is not only because Korea and Indonesia basically have different culture but also influenced by the different religious landscape. This research contributes to the understanding of how Indonesian local culture is integrated in movie adaptations without changing the core of the original story.

The representation of emotions in the study of communication, through gestures and facial expressions plays an important role because these elements can enrich the understanding of the characters and storyline. This study aims to identify and analyze the various types of gestures and facial expressions that appear in the film Miracle in Cell No. 7 and their influence in building emotional depth, enriching the audience's experience, and creating an emotional bond between the characters and the audience. The method used is qualitative analysis with a pragmatic approach, where data is collected through re-enactments of key scenes that show non-verbal communication. Data analysis was carried out in a qualitative descriptive manner by classifying gestures and facial expressions based on the types of emotions represented such as joy, sadness, and anger. The results of the study showed that gestures and facial expressions significantly strengthened the verbal narrative and created a deeper emotional experience for the audience. These findings contribute to the study of non-verbal communication and Indonesian cinema and provide new insights into the understanding of emotional representation through film media

One of the method in complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) is Ruqyah Syar’iyyah by reciting Quranic verses in the treatment. As the Holy Quran is the eternal miracle which challenged the worlds and effects all creatures in general, this study is aimed to disclose the effects of reciting Ruqyah Shar’iyyah as a treatment by evaluating the proliferation of breast cancer cell lines. The spiritual treatment was shown to improve the quality of life that give better impacts to emotion and physical as well as increase immunity. This study applied the experimental method where MCF-7 cells were divided into two groups; the control and the treatment group. During the treatment sessions, a compilation of several quranic verses were recited by using the speakers. The study demonstrated that the cell proliferation percentage of the treatment group for both treatment periods (12 and 24 hour) decreased compared to the control group. This empirical study proved the miracolous effects of Holy Quran on breast cancer cell lines. The study suggest the longer treatment times and repeated treatments would provide significant results for a higher grade cancer cells such as MCF-7 used in this study.

Polyphenols, recognized for their antioxidant capacity, have shown potential in improving the response treatment of various diseases, including cancer. In this context, polyphenols have the ability to induce cytotoxicity in tumor cells, making them possible complementary agents to current treatments. The present study aims to evaluate the effect of the aqueous extract of Synsepalum dulcificum, using the commercial product DMB®, on the proliferation of colorectal tumor cells. An aqueous extract of DMB® was obtained, and 12 compounds were identified through high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), with protocatechuic acid, gallic acid, and catechin being the most prominent. Regarding cytotoxicity, the extracts reduced cell viability in the DLD-1, HT29, SW480, and SW620 cell lines, with IC50 values of 7, 11, 13, and 15 mg/mL, respectively. The combination of oxaliplatin with the DMB® extract reduced the resistant population by up to 50% in the DLD-1 and SW620 cell lines, affecting the G2/M and S phases of the cell cycle, respectively. Additionally, treatment with the DMB® extract induced an increase in the expression of BCL2, CASP3, and CASP9, suggesting a mechanism of action associated with apoptosis. The aqueous extract of Synsepalum dulcificum (DMB®) exhibited cytotoxicity in colorectal cancer cells, enhancing the effect of oxaliplatin and activating apoptotic pathways, suggesting its potential as an adjuvant in anticancer therapies.

Abstract The anticancer potency of green tea and its individual components is being intensely investigated, and some cancer patients already self-medicate with this “miracle herb” in hopes of augmenting the anticancer outcome of their chemotherapy. Bortezomib (BZM) is a proteasome inhibitor in clinical use for multiple myeloma. Here, we investigated whether the combination of these compounds would yield increased antitumor efficacy in multiple myeloma and glioblastoma cell lines in vitro and in vivo. Unexpectedly, we discovered that various green tea constituents, in particular (-)-epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG) and other polyphenols with 1,2-benzenediol moieties, effectively prevented tumor cell death induced by BZM in vitro and in vivo. This pronounced antagonistic function of EGCG was evident only with boronic acid–based proteasome inhibitors (BZM, MG-262, PS-IX), but not with several non–boronic acid proteasome inhibitors (MG-132, PS-I, nelfinavir). EGCG directly reacted with BZM and blocked its proteasome inhibitory function; as a consequence, BZM could not trigger endoplasmic reticulum stress or caspase-7 activation, and did not induce tumor cell death. Taken together, our results indicate that green tea polyphenols may have the potential to negate the therapeutic efficacy of BZM and suggest that consumption of green tea products may be contraindicated during cancer therapy with BZM.

Moringa oleifera is a miracle plant with many nutritional and medicinal properties. Chemopreventive values of the combined mixture of moringa leaves and seed residue (MOLSr) at different ratios (M1S9, M1S1 and M9S1) were investigated. MOLSr extracts were subjected to phytochemical screening, antioxidant assays, metabolite profiling and cytotoxic activity on the primary mammary epithelial cells (PMECs), non-malignant Chang’s liver cells and various human cancer cell lines (including breast, cervical, colon and liver cancer cell lines). The MOLSr ratio with the most potent cytotoxic activity was used in xenograft mice injected with MDA-MB-231 cells for in vivo tumorigenicity study as well as further protein and gene expression studies. M1S9, specifically composed of saponin and amino acid, retained the lowest antioxidant activity but the highest glucosinolate content as compared to other ratios. Cell viability decreased significantly in MCF-7 breast cancer cells and PMECs after treatment with M1S9. Solid tumor from MDA-MB-231 xenograft mice was inhibited by up to 64.5% at third week after treatment with high-dose M1S9. High-dose M1S9 significantly decreased the expression of calcineurin (CaN) and vascular endothelial cell growth factor (VEGF) proteins as well as the secreted frizzled-related protein 1 (SFRP1) and solute carrier family 39 member 6 (SLC39A6) genes. This study provides new scientific evidence for the chemoprevention potential of MOLSr extracts in a breast cancer model; however, the precise mechanism warrants further investigation.

Abstract There were “miracle materials” at the time that were later banned. Most of them were “biopersistent” and had “mild acute toxicity but nasty chronic toxicity”. This toxicity gap had given time to allow for mass use before ban. Most carbon-based nanomaterials are taught to be biopersistent and therefore we investigated their chronic inhalation toxicity as a part of particulate matter toxicology. We developed a universal dispersion method and a small-scale cheap and easy inhalation system named “Taquann”. The first sample was Mitsui-7 multiwall carbon nanotube (MWCNT) donated by the company. Based on its size and shape, we referred to the asbestos and performed the intraperitoneal injection studies. Meanwhile, we started monitoring the inhaled mouse lung for the mechanism of lung fibrosis and carcinogenesis. The responses against inhaled particles were monitored in three studies (A) 2hr/day x 5days of inhalation (Mitsui-7) with monitoring at 0, 13w, 26w, 52w, (B) 2hr/day/week x 5weeks (Mitsui-7, TiO2 , MWCNT-N) at 0, 1w, 4w, 8, and (C) 6hr/day/4weeks x 104weeks (Mitsui-7) at 26w, 52w, 104w. There were responses common and different among rigid fiber, tangled fiber and non-fiber particles. Alveolar macrophages tend to phagocytize at its full capacity and relocate to a certain position in the lung, and/or die off, releasing the particles to be re-phagocytized. Type II cell proliferation and interstitial fibrosis may be related to the level of “frustrated phagocytosis” which may be maximized by rigid fibers. 322 Background: For metastatic or recurrent esophageal cancer, 2-drug combination of cisplatin and 5-FU (CF) has long been a standard of care before the emergence of immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs). Previous phase I/II study of 3-drug combination, 2-weekly docetaxel plus CF (bDCF) showed promising antitumor activity (JCOG0807). We conducted JCOG1314, a randomized phase III study to confirm the survival superiority of bDCF over CF. Methods: Main eligibility criteria were metastatic or recurrent esophageal cancer; histologically proven squamous cell carcinoma or adenocarcinoma; age 20 to 75; no previous systemic therapy for metastatic disease. Patients were randomly assigned to CF arm (cisplatin 80 mg/m2 on day 1, and 5-FU 800 mg/m2 on days 1-5, every 28 days), or bDCF arm (docetaxel 30 mg/m2 on day 1 and day 15 in addition to CF, every 28 days). The primary endpoint was overall survival (OS). To detect a 3-month difference in median OS [hazard ratio (HR) = 0.73] with study-wise, one-sided alpha level of 5% and power of 75%, 240 patients were required. Results: A total of 240 patients were randomly assigned to bDCF (n = 121) and CF (n = 119) between September 2014 to April 2021. Patient background in bDCF/CF arm was median age, 65/64 years; ECOG performance status 0, 69%/75%; metastatic disease, 63%/67%, ≥2 metastatic organs, 59%/56%; squamous cell carcinoma, 94%/97%. As a data cut-off of April 2023, all 240 patients discontinued protocol treatment. The reasons for treatment discontinuation in bDCF/CF arm were disease progression, 58%/71%; adverse events (AEs), 35%/27%; refusal, 1%/1%; others, 7%/5%, respectively. With a median follow-up of 15.3 months (m), bDCF arm was not superior to CF arm in terms of OS with a median of 16.2 m versus 14.8 m [HR, 0.90; 95% confidence interval (CI), 0.68–1.19; p = 0.23], however, progression-free survival (PFS) in bDCF arm was favorable compared to CF arm with a median of 6.0 m versus 5.2 m (HR, 0.68; 95% CI, 0.52–0.88). Response rate in bDCF/CF arm was 52.8%/45.6%. Major grade 3 or 4 AEs observed in bDCF/CF arm were neutropenia (37.8%/27.1%); anorexia (25.2%/16.1%); fatigue (10.1%/15.3%); hyponatremia (13.4%/13.6%). No treatment related death was observed. Subsequent therapy in bDCF/CF arm was provided for 87%/89% of patients. Conclusions: JCOG1314 did not reach its primary objective, although bDCF was associated with significant increases in PFS. CF is still the standard therapy in patients with metastatic or recurrent esophageal cancer if ICIs are not applicable. Clinical trial information: jRCTs031180143 .
