Abstract:

The current digital commerce landscape is dominated by closed platforms, where buyers, sellers, and network participants interact freely but in a limited ecosystem. In contrast to an open network, a closed network restricts access. It creates a contained communication and data exchange environment and remains costly for small business owners. Open Networks Digital Commerce (ONDC) intends to eliminate this limitation. For instance, ONDC charges a commission of only 2-4%, less than half the substantial 18-25% commissions charged by food aggregators present on closed networks. The research primarily explores the opportunities for cloud kitchen owners over an open network. The findings reveal cost opportunities for cloud kitchen owners and their marketing, technology integration, and payment processing dilemmas. The findings are novel and provide insights to the policymakers as ONDC is still in its nascent stage, a perspective from stakeholders would be of immense importance.

Abstract:

<em>Global digital commerce is reshaping the global business environment and has the potential to provide a more level playing field that is more welcoming to all types of businesses. It has the potential to open up opportunities in the economy for new groups of players, particularly for smaller businesses. COVID-19 has facilitated the growth of digital commerce throughout the world. Although digital commerce in mobility and travel services declined, it grew in the retail sector, where its proportion of total retail sales has increased. The increase in sales can be attributed to an increase in business-to-consumer (B2C) sales. This is especially evident in sales of household essentials, medical supplies, as well as food products online. Additionally, COVID-19 resulted in increased business-to-business (B2B) digital commerce. The current version of eCommerce stifles innovation and also creates substantial barriers to access for novice players. Industry analysts have found feasible solutions for managing the bottlenecks within India's digital commerce ecosystem. Taking ideas from the presently successful model solutions such as the Internet Message Access Protocol (IMAP), Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP), HTTP (protocols for data communication and browsing), and so on, the Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC) has actually been developed to revolutionize digital commerce within India. It is going to be an open network developed on open protocols based on open-source standards with set registries, enabling wide-scale involvement by digital commerce ecosystem players within India via multiple gateways. The Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC) project is intended to curb digital monopolies. ONDC will offer a level playing field for big and small digital commerce applications and platforms via the possibility to be ONDC permitted and make buyers and sellers registered with all of them visible as well as discoverable. ONDC aims to make e-commerce procedures open source, thus creating a platform that can be utilized by all online retailers. This paper intends to provide a summary of the context, underlying principles, as well as building blocks for the advancement and operation of ONDC. It also provides an overview of what ONDC can do to help the various players in the digital commerce ecosystem.</em>

Abstract : It was founded by the government with the intention of democratizing online commerce and leveling the playing field for all as regards small and medium-sized retailers operating in India. This paper examines ONDC’s impact on the competitiveness of small retailers within the larger Indian e-commerce ecosystem. Using secondary data as drawn from government reports and reputable news sources, the paper investigates ONDC’s operational model, cost advantages, adoption trends, and sectoral penetration. Findings indicate that ONDC significantly reduces operational costs and expands the market for small retailers while infrastructure and awareness issues remain.

Abstract:

Geographic and linguistic distances are becoming less relevant due to digital technology advances. Due to digitalization, E-commerce is one of the many technological breakthroughs that have directly and indirectly impacted consumers' lives. With the rise of e-commerce, consumers may more easily choose items that meet their interests, and quality and reputation can be verified. For this reason, e-commerce businesses have risen to prominence in consumers' lives. Customers may engage with sellers and buyers via online and mobile platforms for a unique selling or purchasing experience because the e-commerce industry relies on digital technologies. But with time, this market became opaque due to the monopolistic practices of some of the world's largest e-commerce companies, who began to exert influence over consumer purchasing habits. Those players' interests must be safeguarded in a country like India, where small retail firms control more than 80 percent of the retail segment. As a measure, the Indian government developed a new concept called Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC) to protect merchants and buyers. When it comes to online shopping, this ONDC architecture is going to have a significant impact. Without a doubt, ONDC is addressing numerous concerns regarding future Indian e-commerce challenges, even though it is unclear what ONDC aims to achieve with the network's many building pieces or what privacy and security protections it intends to put in place for data interchange. All the befits and challenges of ONDC are highlighted in this article.Â

Abstract:

<strong>Background</strong>: Presentation of patients with altered sensorium to the emergency department is very common. Central nervous system (CNS) infections, cerebrovascular accidents and traumatic brain injury are common for such situation. Raised Intra cranial Pressure (ICP) is a dreaded complication of neurological disease and head injury, hydrocephalus, subarachnoid haemorrhage and intracranial haematoma that often leads to adverse outcomes either by reducing cerebral perfusion pressure (CPP) and causing cerebral ischemia or by compressing and causing herniation of the brain stem or other vital structures. Since there is paucity of literature, this study was undertaken to measure the optic nerve sheath diameter in patients presenting to the emergency department and correlation of optic nerve sheath diameter with raised intracranial pressure. <strong>Materials and Methods</strong>: A Comparative Analytical study of Optic Nerve Sheath Diameter in patients presented to Emergency Medicine Department was conducted. From an earlier study about measuring optic nerve sheath diameter using ultrasonography in increased intra cranial pressure, the sensitivity of Ultrasonography was 75% and specificity of 100%. All adult patients with clinical features suggestive of raised intracranial pressure brought to the Emergency Department in casualty, at SSG HOSPITAL, who underwent CT-brain. <strong>Results</strong>: History of trauma was present in 33.3% of the patients with raised intracranial pressure and 24.4% of the patients without raised intracranial pressure in this study. The history of fever was present in 10.4% of the patients with raised intracranial pressure and 14.6% of the patients without raised intracranial pressure. History of vomiting present in 61.5% of the patients with raised intracranial pressure and 62.5% of the patients without raised intracranial pressure. The history headache was present in 47.9% of the patients with raised intracranial pressure and 42.7% of the patients without raised intracranial pressure. The history of convulsion was present in 46.9% of the patients with raised intracranial pressure and 50.0% of the patients without raised intracranial pressure in this study. The history of unconsciousness was present in 55.2% of patients with raised intracranial pressure and 59.4% of the patients without raised intracranial pressure. This study had shown that, bradycardia was present in 52.1% of the patients with raised intracranial pressure and 34.4% of the patients without raised intracranial pressure. The elevated blood pressure was present in 59.4% of the patients with raised intracranial pressure and 52.1% of the patients without raised intracranial pressure in this study.

<strong>Purpose: </strong><em>Digital India, Make in India opened new avenues of innovation to promote the digital economy, the government of India in association with the department for the promotion of industry and internal trade launched ONDC the open source e-commerce ecosystem infrastructure similar to UPI. It is one of 17 sustainable Development Goals to promote innovation, infrastructure, Decent work in e-commerce and decentralization and democratisation. The e-commerce in SME and MSME business sectors to adapt B2B, B2C, C2C, and M-commerce across the segment such as mobility, grocery, food order, delivery hotel booking travel, with a partnership with customers, suppliers, distributors, warehouse, logistics, payments with the support by the government policy on FDI, PE/VC in e-commerce with API infrastructure, and Consumer Protection Bill 2018 regulate the online transactions by including the e-commerce sector. The worth of the e-commerce market in India is US$200 billion by 2026 led by Walmart, Flipkart, and Amazon market share of 31.9%, 31.2% in India and social commerce market share is $800 and mobile phones. Internet penetration drives the opportunity to develop network-based open protocol e-commerce appsto have scope for wider reach and support micro, small, and medium enterprises get into the online platform for small merchants as well as consumers of urban, semi-urban, and rural areas and it leads to a bank to introduce digitally product based lending improve the flow of credit to SMEs. The Aatmanirbhar Bharat movement gave a huge opportunity to Indian entrepreneurs to contribute to GDP by providing E-commerce credit to customers and bringing more inclusiveness, and sustainability to the consumer digital economy.</em> <strong>Design/Methodology/Approach: </strong><em>The Descriptive study and secondary data are collected from relevant and government websites to analyse the result and ABCD Listing Framework.</em> <strong>Findings/Result:</strong> <em>Contribution of ONDC and other players of e-commerce towards the inclusive and economic growth of the country. The data shows that E-commerce start-ups have raised VC&PE funding for technology adoption, BNLP, B2B, and open network technology provide a huge opportunity backed by the Digital India revolution.</em> <strong>Research limitations/implication:</strong><em> First hand data of ONDC and other player’s information is not taken for the study. </em> <strong>Social implications:</strong><em> It is E-Commerce digital tool to integrate small traders with integrate small traders with integration of all apps Big tech for more sustainable in incomes, business expansion, employment, economic growth. Abstract:

Edamame onde-onde is a new traditional food product processed using edamame soybeans. As a new product, it is necessary to know the best formulation of onde-onde edamame that potential consumers prefer. In addition, edamame onde-onde may have a risk of failure in the process of launching in the market. This study aimed to determine the formulation of edamame onde-onde products according to predetermined criteria, analyze perceptions of edamame onde-onde products, and plan marketing concepts related to segmentation, targeting, and positioning. Perceptions and marketing plan data were analyzed using cross-tabulation, clusters, and multidimensional scaling tests. The best formulation for making edamame onde-onde was the 30% formulation, which used edamame beans to glutinous rice flour ratio of 3:1. The selected target market was female consumers aged 36-45 years, with a diploma degree, and private employees with Rp income. 5,000,000-Rp. 10,000,000 and expenses of Rp. 1,000,000-Rp. 5,000,000. Product position attributes that differentiated edamame onde-onde products were a delicious taste, easy to obtain, affordable prices, and highly nutritious.Keywords: edamame onde-onde, perception, plan marketing concept, product development

Com base em situações recentes e no levantamento de pesquisas e estudos sobre o tema, são realizados apontamentos que buscam a alteração desta realidade, a partir de um maior alinhamento entre as ações desenvolvidas por assistentes sociais na gestão de desastres e o projeto ético-político que vem sendo construído por segmentos da categoria desde as últimas décadas do século XX.

Abstract:

Activated carbon (AC) was prepared from date palm leaflets using NaOH activation. AC was oxidized using concentrated HNO3 to produce oxidized activated carbon (ON). Alkylamines including methylamine (M), dimethylamine (DM), ethylamine (E), diethylamine (DE), and diisopropylamine (DIP) were covalently immobilized onto ON to produce ONM, ONDM, ONE, ONDE, and ONDIP hydrophobic activated carbons, respectively. The surface area of AC (588 m2/g) decreased on oxidation with a further decrease on functionalization. These carbons were tested for methylene blue (MB) adsorption. Initial pH 7 was found optimum for the adsorption of MB. The hydrophobic activated carbons show faster adsorption (except for ONDE), than AC with adsorption data following well a pseudo-second-order kinetic model. The rate of adsorption increased with temperature rise. The activation energy, Ea, was less than 42 kJ/mol indicating physical adsorption. Equilibrium adsorption follows L-type isotherm with the adsorption data following well the Langmuir model. The adsorption capacity of MB follows the order of ONDIP > ONE > ONDM > AC > ON > ONM > ONDE. Thermodynamic parameters indicate spontaneous and endothermic adsorption. Carbon reuse for MB adsorption was more efficient for ONDIP, ONE, and ONDM than AC

Abstract:

O presente trabalho tem como propósito situar o problema da causação mental dentro do debate contemporâneo em filosofia da mente. A partir dos trabalhos de autores como Smart, Putnam, Davidson e, principalmente Kim, delinearemos as mais importantes tentativas de solução do problema desde fins da década de cinqüenta. Defenderemos que a teoria da identidade, o funcionalismo e o monismo anômalo não se mostraram alternativas viáveis para o amelhoramento de nosso entendimento de como propriedades, ou tipos, mentais podem ter poder causal em um mundo físico. Concluiremos, por fim, que nem mesmo a superveniência mente-corpo, assim como indicado nos mais recentes trabalhos de Kim, foi capaz de oferecer uma saída satisfatória ao problema, colocando-nos assim diante de um impasse: abraçamos um projeto reducionista ou aceitamos o epifenomenismo do mental. Metode penelitian dalam tulisan ini adalah metode penelitian sejarah, dengan pengumpulan data dengan wawancara langsung ke lapangan sebagai data primer, dan untuk data sekunder penulis lakukan melalui studi perpustakaan. Dalam metode sejarah ini ada beberapa langkah yang harus di lalui yang pertama Heuristik, Kritik Sumber, Analisis, dan yang terakhir penulisan. Dalam tulisan ini dijelaskan tentang mengapa pelaksanaan tradisi batanam onde-onde ini dilakukan, dimana tradisi ini merupakan sebuah istilah yang digunakan dalam menanam padi di sawah. Tradisi ini merupakan wujud rasa syukur orang tua terhadap anak laki-lakinya yang baru saja menikah. masyarakat Nagari Lakitan Tengah melaksanakan Tradisi Batanam Onde-onde ini pada saat musim ke sawah atau musim menanam padi pertama setelah anak laki-lakinya melangsungkan acara pernikahan. Tradisi ini dilakukan di sawah milik mempelai perempuan atau istri dari anak laki-laki. Sedangkan onde-onde dalam tradisi ini adalah sebuah kuliner yang wajib ada dalam pelaksanaannya. Kuliner onde-onde ini merupakan ciri khas dari tradisi tersebut.

Abstract The re-emergence of vaccine-preventable diseases due to the decline in vaccine coverage (VC) has been documented in several countries. The objective was to analyze the VC, the homogeneity of VC, and measles cases in Brazil from 2011 to 2021, focusing on the period of the COVID-19 pandemic, its temporal trend, space-time distribution, and factors associated with clusters of lower VC. This is an ecological study on measles VC (dose 1), with methods of interrupted time series and evaluation of spatio-temporal disposition, through the sweep test to identify clusters of VC. Starting in 2015, we observe a progressive decline in VC and homogeneity, with an accentuation after 2020, in all regions, particularly in the North and Northeast. Low VC clusters were associated with worse human development indicators, social inequality, and less access to the Family Health Strategy. In Brazil, the pandemic intensified health inequalities with low VC of measles in socially more vulnerable and unequal municipalities. There is a risk of virus circulation, however, the challenge of strengthening primary care, improving health communication and guaranteeing access to the vaccine, reducing missed opportunities for vaccination and vaccine hesitancy, is highlighted.

Batailles begreb om det onde knytter sig til sadisme, dvs. bevidst villet og nydelsesfuld nedbrydning af et andet menneske. Det onde er både afskyeligt og tiltrækkende, dvs. hinsides godt og ondt (Nietzsche) og helligt (Durkheim-Mauss). Det onde har både betydning for menneskets indre erfaring og for dets sociale ontologi, både for den litterære fantasi og for den virkelige handlen. Det onde hører til den type aktiviteter, hvor målet ligger i handlingen selv, jf. sondringen mellem praxis og poeisis (Aristoteles). Med dette begreb om det onde kritiseres opfattelsen af det onde som blot en mangel og som et problem, herunder det religiøse teodicé-problem og det sekulære fokus på lidelse som et praktisk problem. Også det onde som et umuligt projekt (Sartre) og det ondes banalitet (Arendt) kritiseres, ligesom det påvises at Batailles begreb om det onde kan finde støtte i nyere empirisk forskning.

Abstract:

I artiklen problematiseres brugen af psykologiske teorier til at forklare fænomener som ‘ondskab’ gennem en individualisering og naturalisering. Der argumenteres for, at denne forklaringsmodel kan anskues som en arrogant position, hvor psykologien deltager i en positionering, der marginaliserer og undertrykker folk, og som endvidere (kan) benyttes til en legitimering af voldelige handlinger. Endvidere kritiseres det, at denne retning inden for psykologien udelukkende har forsøgt at forklare og forstå fænomener, men at dette fører til en resigneret holdning til krig, vold og fattigdom, hvor man ikke søger at ændre på de faktiske forhold. Som et alternativ anlægger artiklen et diskurspsykologisk og magtkritisk perspektiv på begrebet ondskab, med henblik på en aktiv deltagelse i en ændring af de strukturelle forhold der leder til fattigdom, undertrykkelse og marginalisering. Dette gøres gennem en fokusering på og dekonstruktion af de processer, hvorigennem begreber som fx ondskab konstrueres samt en interesse for de konsekvenser italesættelsen af begrebet har. Slutteligt opfordres til at anlægge et communitypsykologisk perspektiv, idet denne metode ikke nøjes med at studere verden, men forsøger at involvere sig i en ændring af de faktiske forhold med henblik på at skabe en bedre livsverden for de marginaliserede.

Este artigo trata do tema dos retornados da antiga colónia portuguesa, Angola. No romance O Retorno, de Dulce Maria Cardoso, acompanhamos a história de uma família de retornados que adquire um forte valor simbólico. A mãe significa a cisão entre os dois mundos, o real, o palpável, e o invisível; simboliza também a dor dos retornados de não encontrarem casa “em casa”, em Portugal, que deveria ser a pátria deles, mas onde são considerados cidadãos de segunda classe. Ela é também um espelho do interior das personagens. O pai simboliza a terra, a casa e representa o porto seguro para a família. O papel dele é parcialmente retomado pelo filho Rui, que é também narrador, na primeira etapa da vida em Portugal. Ele simboliza o futuro e apela para a “não cegueira” sobre o tema das ex-colónias, vence o medo, tão presente no romance, aos “demónios” da mãe, ao próprio medo e ao futuro. No futuro, num tempo novo, começar-se-á a construir o presente, a verdadeira Pátria, onde quer que seja, na metrópole ou nas colônias.

O objetivo deste estudo é analisar funções e valores assumidos pelo item onde em seus empregos “desviantes” no Português do Brasil - PB, a partir de exemplos extraídos de documentos e artigos a serem publicados em revistas acadêmicas de uma instituição de ensino superior de Minas Gerais/ Brasil. Como procedimento metodológico adotou-se a análise qualitativa interpretativista de um corpus constituído por 68 ocorrências. A hipótese que norteou o estudo é a de que o onde passa por um processo de gramaticalização, no qual há abstratização de seu sentido original de ‘lugar em que’. Em seus empregos emergentes, observa-se a ocorrência de onde tanto sem o valor funcional de pronome relativo a espaço físico, como fazendo referência a categorias não locativas, ou sem referência anafórica, como operador argumentativo. Sugere-se, assim, que há neste processo dois aspectos da semântica atuando simultaneamente: a modificação semântica, com a expansão de valores, e a incorporação das propriedades de operador argumentativo. Como aporte teórico toma os estudos sobre Gramaticalização (Hopper e Traugott, 1993); da Semântica Cognitiva (Lakoff & Johnson, 1980) e da Semântica Argumentativa (Ducrot, 1989). Os novos valores de onde constituem a sua polissemia. O falante conceitualiza essas ocorrências do onde como se estivessem dentro de alguma coisa, num espaço virtual. O estudo conclui que a mudança semântica de onde parece caminhar no sentido de torná-lo, mais que um relativo “curinga”, um marcador discursivo.

Artiklen præsenterer en række opfattelser af det onde i nyere kontinental-filosofi som replik til den metafysiske traditions rationalisering og forsøg på at give mening til det onde ved hjælp af forskellige former for théodicé-forklaringer. Disse teorier er kendetegnet ved en kritik af et forsøg på at forklare det onde som udtryk for en guddommelig plan eller som en intentionel dæmonisk vilje. Diskussionen fremhæver tre karakteristiske alternative opfattelser, der forklarer det onde som: 1) En dum og banal tankeløs handling. 2) Et valg af det gode og det onde i en konkret situation. 3) En nihilistisk leg uden forestillinger om godt og ondt eller et postmoderne oprør mod vesterlandsk rationalitet. This life-threatening condition, known as pulmonary embolism, is prevalent throughout the world, affecting a large percentage of population and representing one of the leading causes of cardiovascular death. To reduce mortality and morbidity and improve outcomes, early risk stratification is critical. There is a wide range in the severity of a pulmonary embolism, from mild to life-threatening. When a patient has a high-risk pulmonary embolism and is in shock or cardiac arrest, emergency systemic thrombolysis or embolectomy is reasonable, but anticoagulation alone has great results in low-risk pulmonary embolism. Multiple strategies exist to capture the benefits of thrombolysis while minimizing its risks, but clinical experience with such novel intervention strategies is limited. The pulmonary embolism response team comprises interventional cardiologist, interventional radiologist, cardiac surgeon, cardiac radiologist, and critical care specialist, can help determine the type of intervention in a given patient. This article provides an outline of current endovascular interventional therapies and their context.

Abstract:

O estudo parte da análise de duas polcas publicadas como suplementos musicais da revista A Estação (Rio de Janeiro, 1879-1904), uma por um compositor de renome e outra anônima, base para se especular sobre a possível autoria feminina por trás do anonimato. A música como objeto e como tema é contextualizada na própria revista, em diálogo com artigos e narrativas e com a linguagem visual da mesma. Partindo-se do conceito de imagéité proposto por Jacques Rancière, discute-se a articulação entre o visível e o legível, ao que se soma o audível, tendo em conta as 29 composições ali publicadas. Em seguida aborda-se o tema das visibilidades femininas, entendidas a partir das representações de figuras de mulheres nas capas de algumas das partituras e da exposição pública das compositoras de sete músicas. Discute-se também a invisibilização posterior dessas mulheres, tomando-se por base a crítica feminista à musicologia tradicional, que hiperdimensiona o repertório “sério” em detrimento das danças de salão.
