Abstract:
The purpose of this study is to examine the patterns of Korean traditional music (gugak) selections in the 2022 revised elementary school curriculum for grades 1-2 integrated subjects and discuss their content appropriateness. To achieve this, we reviewed the 2022 revised elementary school integrated curriculum for grades 1-2 and analyzed the characteristics and trends of gugak pieces included in the “Pleasant Life“ (Jeulgeoun Saenghwal) section. We also analyzed two aspects: the content linkage between the curriculum themes and gugak pieces, and the appropriateness of song selection. The results are as follows: First, while gugak plays an important role in fostering students’ cultural identity and artistic experience, it was often not well integrated with the themes of the textbook or was used merely for supplementary activities. Second, there were issues with the appropriateness of song selection. Many pieces were either too difficult for the developmental level of the students or irrelevant to the curriculum themes. Third, the lack of diversity in the gugak pieces and the presence of content errors were also identified. Finally, it became apparent that music education was primarily positioned as a supplementary subject within the curriculum. To address these issues, the study proposes the following improvements: using gugak pieces that are more closely aligned with the curriculum themes, selecting songs that are developmentally appropriate for students, and including a more balanced range of gugak genres and compositions to broaden and deepen gugak education.

Abstract:
The Internet in the modern world is an integral part of the formation of culture and educational potential of society. The relevance of studying its influence on the individual and social strata of society is determined by its structural and functional capabilities: in fact, it becomes an institution for socialization of new generations, also actively embedded into educational systems. However, in terms of science it is important to understand what influence the Internet has on the formation of basic values, cultural characteristics, attitudes among young people, particularly in the field of financial behavior, which will form the basis of their economic activities and their common future. In this connection, the purpose of this study is an attempt to substantiate the role and influence of social media on the formation of models of financially competent behavior of young people (using the example of Moscow as the leading financial center). The main research methods were content analysis of social media, in particular the social network Instagram (analysis of the content of bloggers positioning themselves as experts in the field of financial management), as well as a mass survey of young people (carried out as part of the initiated by author project of the Laboratory for Study of Behavioral Economics at ISESP FCTAS RAS under the title "Financial culture of the capital's youth") and in-depth structured interviews with experts in the field of financial market and financial behavior. The results of the study make it possible to suggest the existence of a serious influence on the formation of financial culture and financial behavior of young people of the ontent that is popular in social media, as well as the popularity of social networks themselves as a source for the «extraction» of information in the field of economics and finance. This should be taken into account when developing a policy regarding social media activities, in particular bloggers in the field of educational, consulting, commercial and other activities related to increasing financial literacy, culture and formation of various models of financial behavior of young people for the purpose of legal regulation of such activities, because the broadcast content directly shapes not only the way of thinking, but also influences the practical choices and daily activities of young people.

Abstract:
After the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic, there have been a lot of changes around the globe. With the popularity of online communications, ontact culture has emerged, and its influence even reached an educational sector. In 2020, the Ministry of Education announced the launching and spread of ontact platform-based tele-education as conventional face-to-face classroom education became impossible. Such sudden change in teaching methods resulted in a lot of difficulties and complaints among college students and faculty members. Under these circumstances, this study attempted to investigate educational satisfaction after change in teaching methods in the ontact era against college students majoring in cosmetology. For this, a self-administered questionnaire survey was performed to examine their general characteristics, influence of COVID-19 pandemic on academic achievements, preferred lecture style and advantages & disadvantages by teaching method, and the results found the followings: Regarding respondents’ general characteristics, ‘college women’, ‘20s’, ‘4-member family’, ‘mid-high’ and ‘makeup’ were most responded in terms of gender, age, household type, academic grade and academic major respectively. In addition, many respondents said that they considered taking a leave of absence because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Concerning a preferred lecture style, face-to-face classroom lecture was preferred to untact lecture, but the difference was minor. In other words, they have adapted themselves to new educational environments over time. However, they still prefer conventional face-to-face classroom lecture which enables mutual communications and instant feedback. It is anticipated that the study results would be helpful in promoting studies on the development of educational services in the event of a COVID-19 pandemic-like dramatic crisis.

Abstract:
The halftone technique is a process that employs patterns formed by black and white dots to reduce the number of gray levels in an image. Due to the tendency of the human visual system to soften the distinction between points with different shades, the patterns of black and white dots produce a visual effect as if the image were composed of shades of gray and dark. This technique is quite old and is widely used in printing images in newspapers and magazines, in which only black (ink) and white (paper) levels are needed. There are several methods for generating halftone images. In this article we explore dithering with error diffusion and an analysis of different halftone techniques is presented using error diffusion to change the depth of the image. The results showed that the depth of the image changes 1/8 per channel, this halftone technique can be used to reduce an image weight, losing information but achieving good results, depending on the context.

Abstract:
Effective management, thinking about the importance of human resources. Employee performance is an essential factor influencing success. In an organization, this is one of the most critical functions of a company. This study aims to determine the variables that affect employee performance and develop a theoretical basis and research model. This study used an associative descriptive quantitative method with a population of 41 respondents drawn into a sample using non-probability sampling, the saturated sampling / total sampling method—and data analysis techniques using linear regression with the help of SPSS software version 26. The results of this study show that the first hypothesis states that employee performance is influenced by work motivation; the higher the work motivation, the higher the employee performance. The second hypothesis states that work discipline does not affect employee performance. The third hypothesis is that employee performance is influenced by work motivation and work discipline, which can simultaneously improve employee performance. This research is expected to make theoretical contributions to the literature in this context, certainly in the c ontext of human resource management.

Abstract:
Daejeon city provides cash-back rewards to consumers when they purchase books by local currency, ‘Ontong Dajeon’. This study analyzes the policy effects of the Daejeon’s cash-back rewards program for local bookstores. By using individual bookstores’s data of credit card payments and local currency payments, we empirically analyze the effects of cash-back rewards on sales growth and redistribution of local bookstores. Main findings can be summarized as follows. First, our ‘Before-and-After’ analysis shows that sales of local bookstores were increased by an average 53% during consumers provided with the cash-back rewards. Second, mitigating effect of cash-back rewards on sales inequality among local bookstores is very small. Specifically, as the ratio of local currency payments to total payments increase by 1%, Gini coefficient of local bookstores’ sales decrease by only 0.0084%.

Abstract:
ontext: Surgical trauma gives rise to a stress response in the human body resulting in hyperglycaemia in the perioperative period. This adversely affects the patient’s outcome. Hyperglycaemia is particularly detrimental in patients with diabetes mellitus. Dexmedetomidine, an alpha 2 adrenoreceptor agonist attenuates this surgical stress response and helps in preventing perioperative hyperglycaemia. Aims: The aim of our study was to monitor and compare the effect of dexmedetomidine versus normal saline on blood glucose levels intraoperatively and postoperatively in patients with diabetes mellitus undergoing spinal anaesthesia surgeries. Other objectives were, to compare haemodynamic changes, ramsay sedation scores intraoperatively andthe requirement of analgesia in the postoperative period between both the groups. Methods: A double blind prospective randomized controlled study was conducted in a tertiary hospital. Out of 60 patients with diabetes mellitus, 30 random patients were administered with intravenous dexmedetomidine after giving spinal anaesthesia. The other half of patients received a placebo. Vital parameters and blood glucose levels were monitored and compared in both the groups. Statistical analysis used: Data was tabulated and compared using unpaired T-test. Results: Statistically significant differences were found in mean heart rate and blood pressure between both the groups. The differences in the blood sugar values in the intra operative period and the postoperative period between both the study groups were also statistically significant. Requirement of additional postoperative analgesics were also considerably less in the dexmedetomidine group. Conclusion: Intravenous dexmedetomidine attenuates the surgical stress response by inhibiting the adrenal surge and prevents hyperglycaemia.

Abstract:
AbstractRecent results are reviewed for two methods of luminosity calibration based on high-resolution spectroscopy. The first relies onTeff/loggdeterminations from model-atmosphere analyses based on high-resolution spectra. This method is physically well founded but operationally demanding, and requires advance knowledge of stellar mass. The second, W-B, stems from the empirical relationship between luminosity and the width of chromospheric emission lines first established by Wilson and Bappu. Its physical basis is only partially understood, however, and the calibration depends on stellar metallicity and on the choice of lines.BothTeff/loggand W-B easily distinguish cool dwarfs from cool giants. Generally reasonable agreement is found between distances derived from Hipparcos parallaxes and those inferred from the loggvalues derived for nearby dwarfs with relatively well-known Hipparcos parallaxes, σ(π)/π < 0.2. Constraining Hipparcos parallaxes star-by-star is not possible at present. Improvements are suggested for both approaches.

Abstract:
Currently, cultural heritage is no longer just a physical representation contained in objects, buildings and archaeological or natural sites. Institutions responsible for their safeguarding and classification take a fresh look at various cultural representations and social activities, formally recognizing them as intangible cultural heritage. In Brazil and since the year 2000, the National Historic and Artistic Heritage Institute (IPHAN) has been developing programs for classifying Intangible Cultural Assets. The classification processes are complex due to the need to have to transcribe what you feel. Faced with this new demand, a set of indicators is presented that aim to identify existing parameters in each intangible cultural asset that may respond to IPHAN classification guidelines. The indicators were applied in a case study where the object of analysis was the artisanal production of the Porcelain Monte Sião, which has been maintained since 1959 in the State of Minas Gerais, Brazil.
