Abstract:
Raising of problem. The methodology presented in this study is aimed at modeling the variability of the technical condition when operating a car in a complex social and technical system "car − person − environment". This allows you to simulate the change in the operational properties of the car depending on its operation, affecting the change in the technical condition by the Functional Resonance Analysis Method (FRAM). Purpose. The variability of the technical operation of the car needs to be managed, and not reduced or eliminated, since this is an advantage, as well as conditions for the safety and functioning of complex socio-technical systems. To control it, you must first monitor the variability of the vehicle's technical operation. A set of relevant indicators needs to be identified and developed. Their interpretation makes it possible to draw conclusions about the level of technical condition, operational properties of the vehicle and traffic safety and supports the prediction of the occurrence of future events (failure occurrence). Conclusion. Thus, the basic principles of the FRAM for modeling the variability of the technical condition when operating a car in a complex social and technical system "car − person − environment" have been determined. The relationship has been established between the definition of traffic safety, the FRAM model and the performance indicators of the vehicle. The developed model of the FRAM for maintenance of the undercarriage of cars, consisting of a set of functions that describe the actions taken to maintain cars to ensure their good condition. A block diagram of the implementation of functionally oriented technologies for the maintenance and repair of cars has been developed, taking into account the design features and the level of technology for technical influences. This allows you to objectively determine the required scope of maintenance work, depending on the results of diagnostics and the availability of technological equipment.

Abstract:
In this paper, the comparison of three various technical objects (engines of public transport buses) exploitation research for different initial conditions are presented. Object researches were carried out in 2012 and then repeated in 2013. Gathered operational data is presented in three sets (1 – concerning object, 2 – concerning driving conditions, 3 – concerning driver, where set 1 is the collection of diagnostic information Dk, and sets 2 and 3 are the information about object environment U) in form of conventional points (experts numerical assessments). Relation between point information of object and point information of environment was described by coupled equations of state (describing relations between operation condition and technical condition including initial conditions for each analyzed exploitation period). That method allows to determine parameters of technical condition aT and operation condition aR and next, from the course of aT parameter, set of parametrical damage mT(t) and from course of parameter aR – set of momentary damage aR(t). Thus it is possible to evaluate exploitation, technical and operation conditions of each object (bus engine). Received reliability parameters allows to properly control exploitation and service of particular objects and set of objects (fleet of buses) and its elements.

Abstract:
The object of research is the process of changing the technical condition of vehicles during their operation. The study solved the problem of comprehensive evaluation of change in the technical condition based on Harrington’s desirability function. The essence of the results is as follows. A scale of desirability was built and a set of criteria for assessing the technical condition of vehicles was clarified. A general desirability index is proposed as a convolution of partial Harrington desirability functions. When solving the investigated problem, the characteristics and properties of the partial and generalized Harrington’s desirability function and their graphical representation were taken into account. Using an example of the technical condition of the chassis and braking system of vehicles, a set of controlled parameters was formed. Based on the values of the controlled parameters, the regression equation of the partial Harrington desirability functions was obtained. The value of the weighting coefficients of each of the criteria was determined and the generalized desirability function was calculated. As a result of the study, it was established that if the generalized criterion of desirability is D<0.37, then individual nodes, systems, and units of the vehicle are in a pre-accident condition, if 0.37£D£0.63 – in a satisfactory condition, and if D>0.63 – in a good condition and cannot be the cause of a traffic accident. An applied aspect of the results is the implementation of the technique of comprehensive assessment of the technical condition of the vehicle. This causes an increase in the productivity of the expert (specialist), will shorten the period of the auto technical examination, and improve its quality. The results could be used by insurance companies and investigators, investigators and judges when considering traffic accidents

Abstract:
The article deals with issues related to the use of parametric information of the transient-state gas turbine engines (GTE) operation conditions for diagnosing their technical condition during the operation. A review of general approaches to computational algorithms for the recognition and classification of the condition applicable to aircraft GTE has been carried out. The significance of analytical models in modern algorithms for assessing the technical GTE condition is emphasized. The construction of a linearized mathematical model for the transient-state condition of the generalized-scheme aircraft GTE operation has been considered. It represents a system of equations analytically combining the relative parameter divergences measured during the engine operation with the relative divergences of unmeasured thermogasdynamic parameters and geometric gas-air flow duct parameters allowing for the technical condition of gas-air channel elements to be classified. A method for constructing mathematical and diagnostic engine models, using the transient response data, has been formulated. The capability of employing a method of insignificant divergences, used to build linear (linearized) mathematical and diagnostic GTE models for the steady-state conditions of its operation, has been demonstrated as well. It is shown that, despite the structural similarity of linear models of the steady and transient-state processes, diagnostics by means of the stated above processes is based on completely different principles – under the steady-state condition, the classification of a technical condition is determined by the variation in the value of the group of controlled responses, and under the transient-state condition, this operation is based on correlating the change in the transient-state behavior. To ensure the versatility of employing proposed methods regarding various GTE designs installed on modern civil aircraft, a generalized-design aircraft GTE model – a three-shaft bypass turbojet engine with mixing flows in a common jet nozzle, has been considered.

Abstract:
This study presents the results of collecting and analyzing statistics on the wear of pistons of budget-class passenger car engines during active operation. The devices and methods of collecting experimental data on the wear of the cylinder-piston group of engines are described. The main ones were: measuring piston wear in four projections with a micrometer MK-100 GOST 6507-90 with a measurement error of ± 0.005 mm and measuring the compression properties of engines with a compressor, the latter showed low accuracy of displaying the technical condition according to the results of the study. The purpose of the study was to verify the effectiveness of common methods of diagnosing internal combustion engines, as well as to identify the dependence of wear on the frequency of oil change, the design features of the engine lubrication system (the presence of oil nozzles cooling pistons). As a result of the study, the inefficiency of the diagnostic method by measuring compression with various devices was revealed, since when the cylinder-piston group wears out with simultaneous wear of the rubber seals of the valves, the oil acts as an additional seal in the engine cylinder and "masks" the actual compression index of the internal combustion engine. In addition, the results of the study confirmed the effectiveness of the presence in the design of the lubrication system of piston cooling oil injectors designed to supply oil when a certain pressure in the lubrication system is reached to a more loaded cylinder wall and piston bottom – based on the revealed fact, it becomes possible to make recommendations on the refinement of the engine design during major repairs at automobile enterprises, service stations by introducing oil injectors into the engine block, which will lead to an increase in the life of the cylinder-piston group and longer trouble-free operation of the engines.

Abstract:
The operation of a radio-technical complex based on a technical condition is represented by cycles. Each cycle implies control over a limiting state in order to make timely and informed decisions on managing the operation of a radio-technical complex. That should resolve the task of assessing and monitoring the indicators of fault-free operation with the required accuracy and reliability based on operational observations and, if necessary, special tests that could minimize the cost of special tests. Given the introduction for a radio-technical complex of the repeated application of a new indicator of fault-free operation «the probability of trouble-free switching», a combined method of its evaluation and control has been developed. This method is a set of known and developed criteria, models, methods, and schemes that determines the sequence of their application for joint evaluation and control of this indicator. The criteria for verifying the uniformity of data on the operational observations and special tests for the fault-free operation of a radio-technical complex have been defined, as well as the corresponding models for assessing the one-sided lower confidence boundaries of the indicator under consideration, and the methods to control it. The devised method makes it possible to derive estimates of the probability of trouble-free switching, as well as the magnitudes of the observed risks of decisions being made with acceptable accuracy and reliability. The results of modeling the devised combined method helped obtain the accuracy and reliability of its estimates and the observed risks of controls carried out. Recommendations have been compiled for applying the method to address the challenges of joint assessment and control of the probability of trouble-free switching of the considered complexes

Abstract:
An improved method of passive thermal control has been proposed in order to operatively assess the technical condition of rolling bearings, based on studying the heating rate of a bearing. The values of the heating rate of ball, roller, and conical rolling bearings, as well as ball separators, have been determined empirically. It has been shown that the discrete limit heating rate values derived under the regular heating mode of mechanical reducers during stand tests are suitable for use as a diagnostic criterion for rolling bearings. Based on the heating speed criterion for mechanical reducers, it is possible to perform an operative assessment of the technical condition of rolling bearings of different types during the operation of equipment for different purposes. It has been established that for a rolling bearing in a working technical condition the heating rate under a regular heating mode does not exceed 1 °C/min. The resulting value corresponds to the diagnostic criterion for the heating rate of mechanical reducers in a working technical condition of ϑн≤1.1 °C/min. Using a diagnostic parameter of the heating rate under a regular heating mode makes it possible to resolve the issue related to the duration of control over the technical condition of a rolling bearing using a thermal method. Reducing the control procedure duration, when using the improved thermal non-destructive testing, by 4 times, would yield a reduction in operating costs due to the possibility of ongoing control over rolling bearings at the beginning of the equipment operation. It has also been confirmed that the heating rate of rolling bearings under a regular heating mode directly depends on their technical condition and does not depend on the load transferred and the mode of operation of the bearing nodes of the technological equipment. The proposed method could be applied in the maintenance system based on the actual condition of the equipment for the operative control over rolling bearings

Abstract:
During the operation process of high-voltage insulators, the characteristics of assessing their technical state are evaluated by using remote contactless monitoring and by subsequent forecasting of their residual life based on the developed set of diagnostic parameters of critical defects. Special attention is paid to the challenges of the practical application for remote contactless monitoring of high-voltage insulators’ current operating state. Measurements of characteristics for partial discharges on high-voltage insulators with various types of critical defects taken by electromagnetic and acoustic sensors are described. Based on the measurements, it was found that the unusual properties of the PD begin to manifest themselves starting from the intensities q ≥ 1.5–2 nC, and their maximum intensity can reach 5–7 nC. Up to PD intensities q ≤ 3 nC, most parameters of PD characteristics measured by electromagnetic and acoustic sensors correspond with an accuracy of 70–90%. It was found that for small defects with sizes d ≤ 300 μm in HVI, the PD intensity does not exceed 100 pC and depends little on the size of the defect. However, with an increase in the size of defects above 0.4–0.6 mm, a sharp rise in the intensity of the emerging VLPD begins.

Abstract When the operation is driven by the actual technical condition of the equipment with current monitoring of the reliability level the problem appears how to schedule inspections intended for restoring sound technical condition of aircrafts with regard to corrosion protective coatings and keep them permanently available for operation with determination of maintenance jobs that must be carried out in the plane. The methods that enable estimation how frequently inspections for detection of corrosion traces should be carried out include the method of characteristic sets, the Fourier spectral analysis as well as the methods of indices that reflect the process of the aircraft operation. To expand the technological capabilities of machine tools in manufacturing processes, additional equipment is used - angular milling heads. Such equipment enhances the efficiency of the machine tool but also influences its dynamic characteristics. The installation of additional equipment affects the reliability of the machine tool because another element is added to its structure, which has mass and flexibility and also contains joints between parts. Currently, the timing of technical maintenance is mainly determined based on the experience of specialists responsible for the condition of the equipment. An important task is the evaluation of methods that allow assessing the technical condition of angular heads. The paper examines the application of impulse excitation and vibration analysis methods for assessing the technical condition of the MultiTec3000AT angular milling head during its operation on the Multitec Vertical Bridge Mill. A comprehensive diagnostic methodology for angular heads is considered, allowing to plan the date of maintenance or repair based on their technical condition. The spectrum of vibration signals from accelerometers recorded during idle operation and cutting is obtained and analyzed. An assessment of the condition of the components of the angular head is carried out. The frequency response function of the head and vibration diagrams along two axes (XY diagrams) are constructed. A comparison of the spectrum of the angular head signal during cutting and idle operation is performed.

Abstract:
We have conducted a selection of diagnostic parameters to control technical condition of the gear box. Development of technical operation of transportation vehicles is aimed at examining and predicting a technical condition with the formation of a rational diagnostic base being a key direction. Solving the tasks in a given scientific-technical field was based on the theory of relative sensitivity. This involved a theoretically substantiated relationship between diagnostic parameters and the indicators of reliability for the assemblies of transportation vehicles based on their parametric dependence that we proposed. The implementation of theoretical research was conducted by determining a technical condition based on the express diagnosis of transmission oil in the gear box of the family of trucks KamAZ. We have performed express control and examined the working transmission oil for the following parameters: alkaline number, the content of mechanical impurities, dielectric permittivity. The dependences of their change on the run of transportation vehicles were obtained, as well as the corresponding criteria of sensitivity over different intervals of the run. We selected diagnostic parameters and formed a rational base using the criterion of relative sensitivity, establishing the run and the required diagnostic parameters. Control over diagnostical parameters of the gear box should be executed for the following indicators: the content of mechanical impurities in transmission oil – within intervals of 0…12 and 48…60 thousand km of the run; the dielectric permittivity of oil should be controlled within 48…60 thousand km of the run; the alkaline number of transmission oil should be controlled within 12…24 and 48…60 thousand km of the run of the examined transportation vehicles. Abstract:
The efficiency of a locomotive fleet as a complex system depends significantly on the mode and conditions of its operation, which, in many cases, are determined both by its own condition and by the state of the maintenance system. In reality, changes in the state of the system, and its further behaviour in most cases can be described by the Markov process. It should be noted the excessive rigidity of the hypothesis about the Markov character of the behaviour in the process of technical operation of the locomotive fleet that makes the resulting model insufficiently adequate. The article proposes a methodology to assess the efficiency in the functioning of the locomotive fleet as a semi-Markov system. Relationships for calculating the main statistical characteristics of the efficiency indicators in the process of technical operation of locomotives have been obtained. The choice of optimality criteria for the process is justified. A procedure for constructing an ordered sequence of enhancing maintenance and repair strategies, considering the condition of a particular locomotive has been offered. Determining the optimality criteria for the technical operation process of the locomotive fleet based on the research of stochastic estimates in the efficiency of the semi-Markov model. Obtaining a sequence of maintenance and repair strategies. The efficiency of locomotive fleet operation significantly depends on the quality of service. The quality of service is determined by the effectiveness of diagnostic tools for technical conditions. The process of operating a locomotive fleet is described by a semi-Markov model. The semi-Markov model used makes it possible to more fully take into account, in the general case, the diagnostic support of the locomotive and the restoration process. The unit cost function the average unit cost, the average unit loss coefficient the coefficient of average, and operating factor was selected as target functions. A procedure has been proposed for constructing an ordered sequence of improving maintenance and repair strategies, considering the condition of a particular locomotive.

In accordance with the concept of maintaining the serviceability of aviation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, there was a problem of ensuring the serviceability of the fleet of aircraft and accurate classification of the technical condition of power elements of different types of aircraft for timely detection of their limit state. The purpose of the work is to find a system for classifying the technical condition – an image recognition system to solve this problem. The paper considers the issue of choosing an effective method of recognition, the main requirements for it, analyzes the chosen method of classification of technical condition (or recognition of images of technical condition), which is based on the statistical method of recognition. The method of clustering the technical condition of aircraft power elements is considered, a logical block diagram is constructed and the result of the program operation with the selected algorithm “FOREL – I” as a computer program in a graphical shell is given. The implementation of the method of classification in the graphical shell using the programming language python and auxiliary scientific and graphic libraries. The reference objects are selected, the main defining parameters that characterize the intensity of resource potential depletion are determined, which were divided into two images of the technical condition, namely “good” and “bad”, and the control object. As an example, the technical condition of different chassis groups of fighter aircraft of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which have approximately the same resource hours, and different statistics on the intensity of use during operation are analyzed.

Abstract:
Internal combustion engines are among the most commonly used propulsion units for drive systems in various industries such as land transportation, maritime transportation, and power generation. Their operation involves a continuous change of technical condition as a result of not only the combustion process but also their operation under conditions of variable load or ambient impact. It is therefore important to monitor the technical condition of internal combustion engines to ensure high performance and reliability over their lifetime. The article presents the test results obtained from incorrect operation of an internal combustion engine as a result of forced failures of the ignition and injection system. On this basis, a multicriteria comparison of the signal analysis of engine block vibrations was made, after the transformation of the signal from the time domain to the frequency domain, by using the induction technique obtained from the operation of decision tree algorithms. For this purpose, the amplitude spectrum in the frequency domain, scaled to absolute values of discretization for which teaching and testing data tables were created for successive harmonics, was determined for the engine block vibration signal being tested. On the basis of the developed algorithm using decision trees, a multicriteria data table was analyzed for which a compatibility path for the analyzed engine block vibration signal is created. In this way, it is confirmed with a specified degree of effectiveness, depending on the point of operation of the engine resulting from its crankshaft speed, that there is a possibility of detecting a preset ignition or injection system malfunction in the technical condition of the internal combustion engine with a probability up to about 72%.

Electric motors are rechargeable products. The important point in the system of maintenance and repair of electric motors is the choice of optimal maintenance strategy. At present the most widespread is the planned preventive maintenance strategy. However, condition based maintenance is gaining in importance. In this paper, the choice of the most optimal maintenance strategy out of the above-mentioned strategies is considered. For this purpose, expressions have been developed to determine the total costs associated with these maintenance strategies for electric motors. Based on these expressions, a relationship was proposed to establish the optimal maintenance strategy. For the convenience of selection, a monogram was developed to reduce the time for selecting the optimum motor maintenance strategy.

Abstract:
One of the problems of mathematical modeling of monitoring the technical condition of vehicles during their operation is the lack of practical recommendations regarding the use of various types of modeling for specific diagnostic tests. A distinctive feature of monitoring the technical condition of the elements of vehicles during their intensive operation is the uncertainty of the nature of the loads, which makes it impossible to use traditional diagnostic methods and encourages to move to their complex use. In these conditions, the informational support of conclusions about the suitability of products for further operation and the assessment of the residual resource of the equipment becomes especially relevant. The need to create intelligent support for monitoring the technical condition of vehicles during operation is due to the fact that the uncertainty of the nature of the magnitude of loads during the operation of complex structures complicates the use of existing information. The synthesis of mathematical models of the technical state of metal structures, which are based on the general principle of transforming the degradation of the structure into a fixed signal of different nature of origin, has been performed. The presented structuring is considered as informational support for intelligent monitoring of changes in the properties of transport objects, each of which has a specific purpose. The novelty of the structuring of the main models is a practical focus on solving the issues of their functional purpose in relation to test operations in the monitoring and diagnosis of vehicles and the identification of developing defects. On the basis of the synthesis of mathematical models, analysis of their shortcomings, advantages and possibilities of use for monitoring transport devices during their operation, their main properties from the position of their time series, field of knowledge, methods of implementation and rationality of application were established. Distinctive features have been established and the classification of mathematical models has been performed, which makes it possible to significantly simplify the selection of appropriate models, to ensure the correct use of the mathematical apparatus and analytical ideas about the possibilities of assessing the remaining resource and the quality of monitoring in general.

Abstract:
Circuit breakers on the filter bank branches in converter stations are vulnerable to contact wear and mechanical deterioration caused by frequent operations, which can lead to circuit breaker breakdowns and explosions. It is imperative to conduct research on the early detection of abnormal states in circuit breakers. Existing electrical quantity-based detection methods are constrained by a priori assumptions, and their measurement methods are susceptible to interference, leading to misjudgments. To address this issue, this paper examines the influence of changes in critical breakdown field strength and contact spacing on circuit breaker operation states. It also proposes a technical scheme that employs breakdown current values to comprehensively characterize circuit breaker operation states, replacing the use of critical breakdown field strength and contact spacing. An early detection method for abnormal circuit breaker states based on a sequence of breakdown current ratios at different times is proposed, and its effectiveness is verified through simulation and field recording data.

In the article, the car safety control is simulated because of the change of its technical condition during operation using the functional resonance analysis method. The object of the study is car safety control because of the change of its technical condition during operation using the functional resonance analysis method. The purpose of the article, based on the method of functional resonance analysis, is to simulate the car safety control because of the change of its technical condition, which affects the deterioration of steerability, stability, smoothness and unning characteristics during operation. The research method is simulation modeling. To ensure the proper technical condition of the car, the technology of its maintenance has been analyzed. The practical processing of statistics is implemented using the ResilienceDS tool. On the basis of statistical data, the reasons for changing the technical condition of the running gear of the car and their influence on the operational properties were analyzed. ResilienceDS hardware is used to achieve this goal. Such a tool allowed us to model the socio- technical system "Human-Car-Organization of maintenance system" and to form formal models for the continuous evaluation of the stability and conditions of increasing the operation of cars. The data collected on the service station of cars was used to develop a maintenance model by the functional resonance analysis method. The model consists of a set of features that describe the steps taken to service a car. Simulation of the influence of the running gear technical condition on the performance of the car by the functional resonance analysis method has certainly revealed that car maintenance is a complex activity. The model by the functional resonance analysis method gave an idea of how successful and high-quality car maintenance works depend on the complex interaction of several of its parts that work in the technical system. Relationships are so complex that they are almost impossible to perceive. Thus, the important socio- technical mechanisms of the system "Human-Car-Organization of maintenance system" that regulate the relationship between functions. These can be informal, human mechanisms or specific tools, such as the level of technical condition of the car, the technological process of service, instructions and regulations of the repair team. The simulation of the influence of the technical condition of the undercarriage on the performance of the car by the functional resonance analysis method showed that considerable attention should be paid to elemental diagnostics. The performance of these functions is based more on current knowledge of the design of a new generation car and its maintenance technology, thus, may be more volatile. Abstract:
A problem of development of a method of optimal control of operation of natural gas superchargers by a criterion which both minimizes fuel gas consumption and takes into account power of nitrogen oxide emissions into atmosphere has been formulated. Technical conditions of gas pumping units, restrictions on technological parameters and the requirement to provide a planned indicator of gas pumping by a group of parallel-operated superchargers were taken into consideration. Technical condition of each unit or its assembly is assessed based on certain attributes. If observation of such attributes is made for a certain period of time, a set of attributes is obtained. Using an artificial neural network of Kohonen type, the set of attributes (images) is divided into three classes. A certain number of points is assigned to each class. This number characterizes technical condition of the class. The number of points assigned determines utilization of each supercharger. This is taken into account when limiting overall performance of the supercharger group. Formalized record of the optimal control problem contains dependences that are approximated by a polynomial of a specified order. This results in an empirical model whose structure is determined using an apparatus of genetic algorithms. For a series of reasons (errors in measuring technological parameters, errors in measurement methods, external effects, limited scope of experimental material, etc.) identification of values of empirical model parameters is based on inaccurate information. Therefore, parameters of empirical models are treated as fuzzy quantities. Based on the adopted concept, a formalized record of the problem of optimal control of operation of natural gas superchargers was obtained. Implementation of the study results will help save fuel gas and reduce nitrogen oxide emissions into environment

AbstractThe operation system determines the efficiency of the intended use of radio equipment. The operation system includes radio equipment, documentation, operational resources, personnel, processes, data processing algorithms, etc. The operation process is associated with conditions of priori uncertainty of models, parameters, external factors, etc. The main element for monitoring is technical condition of radio equipment. In a general case, this condition can deteriorate. The problems of technical condition deterioration analysis can be considered in terms of changepoint study. The present paper concentrates on the problem of synthesis and analysis of method for changepoint detection during radio equipment operation. The detection algorithm is constructed based on Neyman–Pearson criterion with sample size accumulation. During algorithm synthesis the thresholds were calculated according to Bellman’s approach. The problem of synthesis and analysis was solved by two methods: analytically and using statistical modelling. The efficiency measures for this algorithm are the probability of correct detection and mean time of decision making. The proposed algorithm has advantages in mean time of decision making compared with CUSUM detection method.

Furthermore, the methods used today do not take into account the time spent on relocation from an operational locomotive depot to a service depot and back. The purpose of this study is to develop the methods for determining the number of locomotives based on the anticipated workloads for specific operational sections, the necessary accompanying maintenance and repair, the optimized repair cycle structure with due account of the available resources of the limiting units in the railroad operating domain which are capable of taking into account the technical condition of equipment (failures, repair costs, and time spent on relocation from one depot to another). A model for organization of repair of gas turbine locomotives assigned to operational locomotive depots while undergoing repair in service locomotive depots is proposed. Using this model, it is possible to develop a software product for distributing routine locomotive repairs among service providers, thus optimizing the workload of the latter.

Abstract:
Introduction: сurrently, the control of the technical condition of complex technical systems, such as the secondary power supply system of field communication facilities, is a long and non-automated process that is carried out by operators directly at the control facilities themselves. This circumstance has a negative impact on the timely detection of failures of the controlled object. Also, a very negative factor is the complete absence of any forecast of the technical condition of the control object, which leads to sudden disconnections of the secondary power supply system of field communication facilities, and, accordingly, a break in communication. The combination of these factors has an extremely negative effect both on the stable operation of the communication system as a whole, and on the coefficient of serviceable operation of the communication direction, in particular. The purpose of the work is to develop methods for monitoring and predicting the technical condition of the secondary power supply system of field communication facilities. Methods used: the application of the neural network approach allows you to achieve very accurate results and get high performance systems in real time. The novelty of the work is to increase the accuracy and speed of control, the ability to predict the technical condition, the integration of the secondary power supply system into the information environment of the field communication object by using neural network technologies. Result: the application of the neural network approach allows you to predict the technical condition, as well as more accurately classify the technical condition of the control object. Also, it becomes possible to centralize control, which, in turn, reduces the control time. Practical significance: the results of the work can be used in the process of monitoring and predicting the technical condition of complex technical systems, which will significantly reduce the number of accidents.

Abstract:
The problem of predicting the state of an Electric Submersible Pump during operation is considered. Downtime and shortages caused by pump failure lead to losses in oil pro-duction and require time to replace equipment. By predicting the condition of the equipment, it is possible to minimize pump maintenance costs and reduce well downtime. Expert systems and pre-dictive analytics methods are used to analyze the state of systems. The scientific work uses methods that are based on artificial neural networks. Purpose of research. Elaboration of the issues of fore-casting the technical condition of the pump through by using machine-learning models. Materials and methods. Equipment failure forecasting is carried out using time series analysis. The data was obtained from telemetric sensors of the monitoring system installed on an electric submersible pump. The initial data were taken at one-minute intervals. Initial data preprocessing was carried out. The data was cleared of values (peaks) that are clearly got out of normal operation and places where the phase voltage was equal to zero were removed. An artificial neural network with the LSTM neuron type is used to predict time series. Time series forecasting was carried out for five days. Evaluating system parameters over long periods allows you to assess the condition of its compo-nents and prevent equipment failure. Results. The possibilities of neural networks trained on the ba-sis of data from telemetric sensors of the monitoring system for predicting the values of vertical vi-bration of the pump are investigated. The use of a neural network model in the form of LSTM, which has shown good results in the analysis of time series, is justified. It was found that neural net-works capture the trend well within the time series, which indicates the possibility of using it together with the expert system. Conclusion. The proposed methods and models are tested on real data, which confirms the possibility of their use in the development of an intelligent information system for managing the technical condition of an Electric Submersible Pump during operation.

Abstract:
The main task of the operation of engineering structures is to ensure the stability of structures with aggressive external influences, which have a complex probabilistic nature. The reliable functioning of bridge structures requires the development and application of modern systems for inspection and assessment of the technical condition of the structure to take timely measures to ensure the safe operation of the structure in changing operating conditions. With the rapid development of AI, modern approaches are increasingly adopted, offering distinct advantages compared to classical methods. The article aims to develop an AI-based model for quantifying the technical condition of bridge structural components based on data obtained from the survey. To achieve this goal, the authors analyzed existing approaches to the inspection and assessment of bridges and studied the experience of using AI in bridge assessment. Based on the Polish Principles of Bridge Technical Condition Assessment, three datasets were formed to quantify the condition of the bridge components made from reinforced concrete: bridge deck, span structures, and piers and abutments. This study created and compared the performance of five AI-based models: XGBoost, Decision Trees, Random Forest, Support Vector Regression, and Artificial Neural Networks (ANNs). The initial comparison revealed relatively low performance across all models, with the ANN model showing a slight advantage. Subsequently, nine ANN models were optimized to achieve higher performance levels. The performance of models was conducted based on a comparison of mean absolute percentage error (MAPE) and R2 metrics. The ANN model with ReLU activation functions for hidden layers and the RMSprop optimizer achieves optimal performance at 100 epochs (MAPE = 3.5%; R2 = 0.994). The practical implementation of such a model can considerably reduce uncertainties stemming from subjective expert judgments and enhance the accuracy of assessments.

Abstract:
The relevance of the topic of this study is due to the need to ensure reliable operation of vehicles and minimize the risks of interruptions in the operation of internal combustion engines (ICE). A common phenomenon in operation is misfiring, which negatively affects the efficiency of the ICE and can lead to emergencies that entail significant financial and temporary losses for commercial companies. The problem is the need to identify and prevent such malfunctions early. The purpose of the study is to develop and test a system for monitoring and analyzing the technical condition of the internal combustion engine through vibration measurements. Method and methodology. The work used the method of in-place diagnostics, the use of which increases efficiency of determining the technical condition of the vehicle internal combustion engine. Results. This article describes the system developed by the authors for checking the technical condition of an internal combustion engine. As a result, software to process and record vibration and timing data has been developed in MATLAB. The study of influence of defects in mechanisms and systems of internal combustion engine on uniformity of time-amplitude characteristic of vibration pulses of each individual cylinder, which occur during operation of internal combustion engine, was carried out by calculation and experimentation. As a key conclusion, it is noted that the developed system allows to quickly and non-invasively identify the idle cylinder or the one of which contribution to the rotational movement of the crankshaft is the least compared to others. The research makes it possible to provide diagnostics in a short time using available means. Scope of application of the results. the research results were tested in the conditions of a service company when diagnosing the internal combustion engines of passenger cars and trucks, and can be applied by both car repair shops and car enthusiasts.

Abstract:
The formation of the method of ensuring the rationing of indicators and management of fuel economy of the vehicle in variable operating conditions by means of operational control on the basis of intelligent transport systems is shown. A systematic approach was used as the methodological basis of the research to solve the tasks set in the work. The general technique of carrying out of scientific research of rationing and fuel economy of the freight vehicle of category N3 in variable conditions of operation by means of operative control on the basis of intelligent transport systems is developed. The target function of the study is a combination of objective and subjective factors of vehicle operation, which ensure minimal fuel consumption. At the same time the minimum task is solved, namely: rationing of operational indicators, fuel economy of the vehicle in the conditions of operation tends to reach the maximum, despite the fact that fuel consumption tends to reach the minimum values. The general approach to the formation of the method of ensuring the fuel economy of the vehicle in variable operating conditions by means of operational control based on intelligent transport systems is formulated. The processes of solving the tasks are based on the implementation of systemic interaction of three interrelated components: process, information and analytical. It is shown that the peculiarity of the method is that it involves the joint use of all available methods and means of obtaining information about the processes of operation of the vehicle, fuel consumption, parameters of technical condition and speed, and so on. Thus, the process of forming a method to ensure the rationing of performance and fuel economy of the vehicle in variable operating conditions by means of operational control on the basis of intelligent transport systems involves clarifying information on fuel consumption, actual technical condition, methods and means of implementation. The article shows that this task on the basis of information about fuel consumption parameters and technical condition can be expressed as a complex function in the implementation of relevant tasks. In the work, a method of determining and calculating the fuel consumption of vehicles in operating conditions was developed specifically for the purpose of researching and justifying the regulation and parameters of fuel economy, the peculiarity of the method is that it involves the joint use of all available methods and means of obtaining information about operational processes vehicles, namely fuel consumption, parameters of the technical condition and speed of the vehicle.

Abstract:
The application of mathematical programming for scheduling preventive maintenance in railways is relatively new. This paper presents a stochastic mathematical model designed to optimize and to predict tamping operations in ballasted tracks as preventive condition-based maintenance. The model is formulated as a mixed 0–1 nonlinear program that considers real technical aspects as constraints: the reduction of the geometrical track quality over time is characterized by the deterioration rate of the standard deviation of the longitudinal level; the track layout; the dependency of the track recovery on its quality at the moment of the maintenance operation; the limits for preventive maintenance that depend on the maximum permissible train speed. In the model application, a railway stretch with 51.2 km of length is analysed for a time period of five years. The deterioration model is stochastic and represents the reduction of the standard deviation of the longitudinal level over time. The deterioration rate of the standard deviation of the longitudinal level is simulated by Monte Carlo techniques, considering the three parameters Dagum probabilistic distribution fitted with real data (Vale, Simões 2012). Two simulations are performed and compared: stochastic simulation in space; stochastic simulation in space and time. The proposed condition-based maintenance model is able to produce optimal schedules within appropriate computational times.

Abstract:
Abstract The paper studies the prospects of using telematics data to support effective solutions for tracking and monitoring the condition of the power supply system (PSS) components of unmanned vessels (UV) through the determination of positioning and, accordingly, operating time of PSS components. The paper attempts to describe one of the modules of the proposed integrated telematics system for UV monitoring, diagnostics and control. For practical implementation of telematics for unmanned merchant vessels, an algorithm has been developed to diagnose the technical condition of PSS components based on the operating time and condition of the units and components of the UV PSS. The results obtained by the algorithm show the technical condition of the observed technical equipment, time of its operation, and justify the need for repair or its complete replacement. The block diagram presents the algorithm that employs a minimal set of data to determine the use of technical equipment for further planning of its preventive maintenance. The paper provides the graphical interpretation of data on the time of PSS components operation and an example of displaying the interface of the remote operator of the UV. It is proposed to use telematics for tracking and monitoring the UV PSS operation in order to improve the quality of equipment maintenance, provide rational use of resources, extend its service life, and plan the repair time. In the future, it is proposed to create an integrated intelligent system based on telematics data, which allows the UV control and monitoring of the technical condition of its equipment.
