Abstract:
The system of bibliographic information of the Book Chamber of Ukraine, based on the receipt of mandatory copies of printed materials, comprehensively covers various types of domestic printed materials and serves as an exhaustive basis for the creation and publication of state bibliographic indexes. The most important component of the current state bibliography is the "Book Chronicle", which contains comprehensive bibliographic information about books and brochures published in Ukraine from all fields of knowledge: scientific, popular science, educational, reference, religious, official, socio-political, production and practical, literary, artistic and popular publications for children and youth, etc.
Current trends in the development of the publishing industry, science and culture necessitate bibliometric analysis of the database of the state bibliography of book editions "Book Chronicle". The proposed analytical review covers the thematic distribution of publications in the database for 2019, which contains 17 634 bibliographic records, according to UDC classes.
A comparative analysis of the number of publications by sections of the UDC in order to determine the thematic focus of book publishing in Ukraine in 2019 in accordance with the branches of science. The analysis revealed that most of the records belong to classes 0, 3, 6 and 8 — 13 942 titles, or 79% of the total number of publications in 2019 — works of art and literature and books on education, law, economics, medicine, science; the remaining sections together account for less than half of all database records — 21%, or 3692 records.

Sandner, Margit. "NSW online – das elektronische Tool zur Liste der fachlichen Nachschlagewerke zu den Normdateien (GKD, PND, SWD)." Universitätsbibliothek Chemnitz, 2012. http://nbn-resolving.de/urn:nbn:de:bsz:ch1-qucosa-82210.

Full text
Abstract:

Abstract:
This concluding chapter explains how polymers provide a convenient opportunity to study industrial aspects of chemical science. Indeed, considerations of economics, availability of feedstocks, use of specialized catalytic reactions, and similar matters are found throughout the chemical industry. However, polymers provide particularly instructive examples. It is an appropriate time to review polymers since there are many new aspects and applications in prospect. This is a very wide subject to cover and readers are encouraged to investigate more specialized bibliography for areas of interest. The chapter then offers some recommendations of reference books on all aspects of polymer science and technology, including series of volumes extensively filled with data.

Abstract William Schaaf published a list of early books on magic squares [61], which he divided into sections: before 1800; 1800–1880; 1881–1900; and 1901–1940. Frank J. Swetz has an excellent bibliography of fifteen pages in his book, Legacy of the Luoshu [71]. Mark Farrar listed a number of references on the Internet ([87]) in which he found old English books on magic squares not on other lists and, in addition, some that are of special interest to professional magicians, who use them in their performances. However, the most comprehensive survey of the literature is the Bibliography of Harvey Heinz. This list takes upeighteen pages on the Web and begins with sources of information on eighteenth- and nineteenth-century books as well as titles of some books of pre-eighteenth-century periods. His list is divided into sections as follows: books, chapters in books, published papers, papers in the Journal of Recreational Mathematics, and the literature on magic stars. Listed alphabetically by author, each mention gives full references plus Heinz’s comment on the contents and other useful material [91].

Abstract:
The most rapidly changing pervasive and publicized aspects of library and information studies are e-resources. In a relatively short period of the time, e-resources have expanded drastically from the few dozen computerized bibliography databases to the overwhelming amount of information available today. Electronic resources have grown to include online library catalogues, lists of CD-ROMs, online journals, databases, newspapers, reference materials, open access journals, e-books, major publishers, and online bookshops. There is a pressing need for guidance regarding the use of such resources. The findings of this study conclude that the age-wise respondents have many problems accessing e-resources including computer viruses, having difficulty using digital resources due to lack of IT knowledge, and their limited access to computers.

Full text
Abstract:
Abstract This paper presents pedagogical issues and experience in teaching the introduction to MEMS (Micro Electro-Mechanical System) course to a group of engineering students, primarily Mechanical Engineering students. The paper draws upon the author’s experience in teaching the MEMS course. Since MEMS is highly inter-disciplinary, the presentation of various relevant topics in MEMS, which may or may not be familiar to a mechanical engineering student, is of critical importance. These topics vary from physics, electrochemistry, materials, and electronic engineering, to various areas in mechanical engineering. An integrated approach for the presentation of subjects, especially in design and fabrication, was found to be very helpful. Moreover, the paradigm shift from the macro world, that most students are familiar and comfortable with, to the micro world is significant and needs to be emphasized. The author found the concept of scaling law, when shifting to the micro world, to be essential in the presentation of MEMS to engineering students in order for them to comprehend the size factor in MEMS. In addition, understanding and appreciation of the strengths and limitations of MEMS are also critical in learning MEMS. Finally, a good textbook will facilitate the learning process of such vast subject. A bibliography of useful textbooks and reference books used by the author will be listed at the end of this paper.

In the field of communication design, editorial design is one of the most relevant areas and, in this context, exhibition catalogues are prominent publications. Generally, these are medium or large format books, intended to perpetuate the information present in the (ephemeral) exhibitions to which they relate. So, they require great care in the design and graphic production process. In this article, we consider exhibition catalogues, aiming to identify their main characteristics and understand how they evolved over time. To achieve this, we base our study on bibliographic research, on the analysis of catalogues from the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation – a reference institution in the Portuguese cultural panorama – and on interviews with experts in the field.

Abstract:
This paper describes the ways of preventing and detecting plagiarism in the contemporary time among students in the licensing process (in which online we take more time and resure than offline, traditional books and magazines in a printed form on paper). How can we deal with the current challenges of the plague tendency and how we can show originality in everything we do, possibly "post on the wall" online. First of all, avoiding plagiarism is achieved by recognizing frank the contribution of the author (s) who formed the basis of inspiring your own creation, and this can be achieved through the proper use of existing citation methods. Therefore, we intend to present the advantages and disadvantages of different citation styles of information sources used by students, including: APA Style, MLA Style, Chicago Style, Turabian Style, ISO 690 Style; as well as citation methods, namely: citations in the text, page footers, bibliographic references, web publications, online video, etc. And last but not least, we present software tools to support and simplify the release of information sources, including: EndNote, Reference manager; those with open access and those for a fee. One of the greatest benefits of globalization is to simplify and facilitate access to information and automatically identify student plagiarism in the development of licensing work. Identifying plagiarism through various software continues to challenge IT specialists in close collaboration with the university environment. This goal desires to eliminate as far as possible the plagiarized works and to open the gates of the original authors through the contribution to knowledge. Romanian universities have begun to grasp the need to align with global university education, and as a result of various exchanges of experiences, they have begun to test and even acquire various software to identify and prevent plagiarism among students.

The old seaside city of Hammam-lif has undergone several changes since its creation. The urban sprawl is no longer possible since the city reached its limits. This study focuses on urban evolution through different city’s plans. It refers to different bibliographic references. The comparison between old and recent photos illustrates these changes. The city has maintained its urban form but has undergone various changes in functions and density. There have been the introduction of new functions, especially those relating to the tertiary sector. The renewal of old buildings is characterized by the change in their height, which has become more important. These factors lead to a crowded city, with problems of congestion and parking. This study demonstrates one of the problems the city suffers from: the loss of its rich urban and architectural heritage, especially with the problems of safeguarding its two main architectural monuments: “Le Casino” and the beylical palace.

Introduction: The diagnosis of breast cancer in pregnant and postpartum women presents challenges. The clinical management of the breasts during pregnancy and lactation requires knowledge of the physiological changes of the pregnant breast, as well as the correct identification and approach to possible changes. The reluctance of physicians and patients to perform radiographic tests and invasive procedures during this period should be discussed. Objective: The aim of this study was to demonstrate that all breast lesions found in these periods should be carefully evaluated, highlighting the importance of diagnostic evaluation methods, comparing the advantages, disadvantages, and possible false-negative factors of the methods frequently used in clinical practice. Methods: This is a literature review, which uses references found in scientific books on gynecology, obstetrics, and mastology, in addition to the use of the databases Medline, BVS, PubMed, UpToDate, and LILACS, applying to originals and literature reviews written in English, Portuguese, and Spanish. Results: The analysis of diagnostic methods in the context of breast cancer is associated with pregnancy, such as selfexamination, anamnesis and clinical examination, ultrasonography, mammography, evaluation by core biopsy, evaluation by cytology, and evaluation by magnetic resonance imaging, presented as a result of limitations not found in nonpregnant women. The bibliographic study points to the need for individualized monitoring, analysis, and application, taking into consideration a woman’s risk of developing breast cancer during her pregnancy and physiological and morphological changes in the breast. Conclusion: Early diagnosis is not common during pregnancy; consequently, more advanced stages are associated with breast cancer simultaneously to gestation. Therefore, even in pregnancy, any suspicion of breast lesion must undergo evaluation. Pregnant and postpartum women should have clinical breast examinations as a routine, making patients and health staff aware of their importance in the pregnancy-puerperal cycle. Advice about the self-examination, request for ultrasound, mammography, and biopsy is necessary.

Abstract:
The Professional Master's in Work Management for the Quality of the Built Environment, MPGTQAC has existed at the Universidade Santa Úrsula, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, since the beginning of 2015. The body is one of the substantive elements of the course. It emerges as an elective discipline. The purpose of this communication is to refine the understanding of the central ideas of the discipline ‘Body, culture and environment’ of the master, combined with the situation of Covid 19. A complementary bibliography of the discipline was presented, and some works were described and commented on. We took Howard Becker's book “Mundos da Arte” Becker [1] as a theoretical reference in the pedagogical field, to move forward with the idea of collaborative pedagogical work. By confronting theory with pedagogical practice, we achieved two dynamics applied in the first half of 2020, during Pandemic Covid 19. The first, ‘Domestic ethnography before and after Covid 19’. Covid 19's impact on the home and student world was considered. Scenes in the residential environment of each student made it possible to visualize the accommodation of the houses, to the circumstances of the daily domestic and working lives of each student, during the Pandemic, with a strong impact on everyone's body scheme; the second, ‘Body and affection in Pandemic, from Paul Klee’, allowed students to express their questions and express the feelings and reflections arising from a world altered by the effect of the pandemic. Many of these issues are linked to one's body scheme. As a result of the proposed dynamics, the class reacted with hope of overcoming. In a balance between the restrictive situations of the Pandemic, which often led to the feeling of sadness, fear and malaise, and, prospective situations, after the Pandemic, the group envisioned the possibility of advancing and overcoming a localized period of impossibility circulation and contact. Faced with current limits and future possibilities, the group showed a positive expectation for the future. The reflection based on the study of dynamics carried out during the course 'Body, culture and environment' allows us to think about the possibility of replicating playful referrals similar to those described here, for the next times that the discipline is taught.

Abstract:
The indissoluble relationship, society-information sustained through the information exchange, is an essential facet in the existence of society, a reality that defines primarily the society in relation to all components of its development. With the increasing role of science in society’s development, area of scientific information was expanded, representing a wide range of communication fields. Scientific information has led to a multifaceted development of infodocumentary structures, activities and services. In the growing competition that takes place today in the university environment, a university can create its own significant advantages, relating to optimal access to the new information of its domain, based on a strong information technology infrastructure. Today, electronic materials for documentation are a bibliographic source of reference for the research process, elaboration of scientific work and teaching / learning processes. Involvement of digital libraries in e-learning process uses the Web to retrieve and access study materials. These libraries should not be treated as mere collections of digitized documents, but as an accumulation of collections, services and specialists supporting activities of creation, preservation, dissemination, and utilization of data, information and knowledge of that. The main goals of the digital library in supporting e-learning process using Web refers to improving students performance, increasing the quantity and quality of educational resources via the Internet, facilitating retrieval and access to these resources in order to optimally capitalize them and not least to ensure that these resources will be available over time. Web 2.0 Library enables users to retrieve needed information by the desired subject search, access to scientific resources and interact with experts in various fields of interest. Web 2.0 Library provides direct access to library catalogs, to scientific databases, collections of electronic books, reserved electronic courses, allowing communication through forums. It is recommended fruitful communication between the library and educational institution that it serves, the purposes of encouraging the learning process via the Internet, also involving students in this working relationship, expecting permanent feedback from them. The librarians sustain processes of selection, processing and indexing of information resources from the Web, allowing access to articles from databases, both in full-text version and the reviewed ones. The collaboration of the library with academic field that comprise it, with the researchers, the editors, will benefit in developing collections of online publications. Library involvement in electronic learning process needs library professionals that have good knowledge in IT, web, information and communication science, skills for optimal material selection, for classification of information resources into logical categories, to create indexes and search engines, for constant improvement of the classification categories. Development of web 2.0 technologies is a catalyst for libraries, in supporting e-learning processes developed in academic area. The concept created by web 2.0 determined the infodocumentary structures unit to pursue the goal: Library 2.0, as a pillar for the development of e-learning phenomenon.
