Clanek obravnava konceptualno razumevanje izrazov globalizacija in internacionalizacUa ter njuno uporabo v kontekstu visokega solstva. Avtorica v tej zvezi obravnava Bolonjsko deklaracijo in predpostavlja, da bo bolonjski proces bolj kot kooperativno internacionalizacijo pospesil kompetitivno intemacionalizacijo in posledicno komercializacijo visokega solstva. stem bo ogrozena ideja evropske tradicionalne univerze in Evropi preti nevarnost, da bo izgubila eno svojih prednosti. V posebnem poglavju analizira regulative svobodnega trzenja WTO-GATS, ki na podrocju izobrazevanja vkljucujejo pet kategorij: osnovnosolsko, srednjesolsko in visokosolsko izobrazevanje, izobrazevanje odraslih ter druge izobrazevalne storitve. Sledi razmislek o moznostih prostega visokosolskega trga v SlovenUi in o tem, ali bodo tradicionalne univerze prezivele sedanje pritiske globalne kompetitivne naravnanosti.

Abstract:

I denne artikkelen vil jeg vise på hvilke måter Dag Solstads tenkning er i slekt med eksistensialistiske måter å resonnere på, nærmere bestemt med Jean-Paul Sartres filosofi. Sartres filosofi er en understrøm i Solstads forfatterskap som ikke ofte nok har blitt belyst. Nå må det påpekes at Solstads forfatterskap har et vell av andre påvirkningskilder enn Sartres forfatterskap, og at Solstads romaner heller ikke kan betraktes som illustrasjoner av eksistensialistiske ideer. Et sentralt siktepunkt med denne artikkelen er snarere å vise hvordan eksistensialistiske ideer settes på spill i fortellingene. De begrepene fra Sartres filosofi som jeg vil bruke i min analyse er vond tro, blikk og skam.

Abstract:

This study measured sweat rates (msw) during high-altitude summer treks on Mt. Kilimanjaro to evaluate the efficacy of a recently developed fuzzy piecewise sweat prediction equation ( Ṗw,sol) for application to high-altitude conditions. We hypothesized that the Ṗw,sol equation, adjusted for the barometric pressure (Pb) decreasing steadily at high altitude ( Ṗw,sol+Alt), would allow for a more accurate prediction of msw than Ṗw,sol unadjusted for altitude ( Ṗw,solSL). Fifteen men (43 ± 16 yr; 80 ± 22 kg) and seven women (46 ± 16 yr; 77 ± 18 kg) wearing hiking clothes (clo ∼1.15; clothing evaporative potential = 0.27) and carrying light loads (9 ± 2 kg), were studied during morning and afternoon treks (∼2–3 h) while ascending from 2,829 m to 3,505 m. After each trek, msw was measured with specific biophysical parameters at 15-min intervals. During the trek day, Pb progressively declined (530 to 504 Torr), as solar radiation and ambient temperature (°C) rose transiently. During all treks, msw ranged from 68 to 393 g·m−2·h−1 (0.14 to 0.79 l/h). For each subject, derived Ṗw,solSL and Ṗw,sol+Alt model outputs accurately predicted the morning and afternoon average msw within a root mean square error of 0.145 l/h. No differences were found between Ṗw,solSL and Ṗw,sol+Alt values. In conclusion, we report the first msw measured during outdoor high-altitude activities and determined that Ṗw,solSL equation can be used to predict fluid needs during high-altitude activities without alterations for lower Pb. This model prediction provides a valid water planning tool for outdoor activities at high altitude up to 3,500 m.

Abstract:

Izobrazevalne storitve so v dobi globalizacije vsak dan bolj podvrzene trznim mehanizmom. Se zlasti na podrocju izobrazevanja menedzerjevje cutiti velik porast potreb po novih, drugacnih in ucinkovitejsih nacinih usposabljanja. v tem duhu so se razvile menedzerske igre, ki v ucni proces vnasajo vecjo dinamiko, interaktivnost ter sledijo prastari cloveski potrebi - ucenju s pomocjo igre. Menedzerske igre so si tudi v Sloveniji utrle pot na univerzo v obliki izbirnega predmeta, raziskave pa kazejo, da je zanimanje zanj veliko. V prispevku avtorica opisuje namen in vlogo menedzerskih iger v procesu izobrazevanja (bodocih) menedzerjev in nujnost vzpostavitve menedzerskih iger kot rednega predmeta na univerzah in v sistemu visokega solstva.

V stevilnih drzavah ze nekaj let oblikujejo sistemske resitve, povezane z ugotavljanjem in zagotavljanjem kakovosti vzgoje in izobrazevanja. Tudi v Sloveniji se zavedamo pomena vzpostavitve mehanizmov ugotavljanja in zagotavljanja kakovosti ter iskanja lastne poti do visje kakovosti sistema vzgoje in izobrazevanja. Temu so namenjeni tudi posamezni modeli kakovosti, ki jih vpe!jujemo v izobrazevalne organizacije. Na podrocju izobrazevanja odraslih je razvit model za presojanje in razvijanje kakovosti POKI (Ponudimo odraslim kakovostno izobrazevanje). Z vpe!javo modela v solsko prakso lahko prvic ugotavljamo tudi njegove uCinke. Na osnovi zunanje evalvacije vpeljevanja modela za presojanje in razvijanje kakovosti POKI in uCinkov, ki smo jih zaznali na soli, ugotavljam, da je bil temeljni cilj projekta, tj. prispevek k povečani skrbi za kakovost na nasi soli, dosezen.

Abstract:

ABSTRACT The author of this article attempts to show how the theme of lack of identity figures in Scandinavian literature of the recent decades, especially in postmodernism, and partially also later. The absence of identity was a considerably frequent theme in modernism. According to many modernists the lack of identity was characteristic of the people of the twentieth century, and modernists usually regarded this phenomenon as tragic. This changed in the 1960s. Some modernist writers of the 1960s began to view the absence of identity in a more conciliatory way: their works featured a greater acceptance for the idea of an individual with no core. This movement away from the tragic conception toward a greater acceptance forms an important line of development in later Scandinavian literature. The article discusses a few selected texts which illustrate this development. The examples include texts by Hans-Jørgen Nielsen, Dag Solstad, Peter Høeg and Erlend Loe.

The Fixed Mirror, Distributed Focus (FMDF) hemispherical bowl is a solar thermal power technology which has been studied for several years as a potentially attractive means of producing electricity. This paper discusses projections of the collector (concentrator and receiver) performance and cost that could be achieved by five variations of the FMDF technology, based on the assumption of continued technology development and high volume production. The major loss mechanisms were determined for the concentrators and receivers and then design point losses and efficiencies were developed. The Pacific Northwest Laboratory (PNL) computer code SOLSTEP was then used to determine the annual performance. The cost analysis was based on a “commercial” solar thermal industry that could exist by the late 1990s. The industry is assumed to be installing several hundred megawatts per year of electric capacity, and is assumed to have improved the maturity of solar thermal components so that technical and economic risks are similar to other energy systems.

We used visual masked priming and functional magnetic resonance imaging to elucidate the specific functional contribution of this region to reading and found that (1) unlike words, repetition of pseudowords (“solst-solst”) did not produce a neural priming effect in this region, (2) orthographically related words such as “corner-corn” did produce a neural priming effect, but (3) this orthographic priming effect was reduced when prime-target pairs were semantically related (“teacher-teach”). These findings conflict with the notion of stored visual word forms and instead suggest that this region acts as an interface between visual form information and higher order stimulus properties such as its associated sound and meaning. More importantly, this function is not specific to reading but is also engaged when processing any meaningful visual stimulus.

Abstract:

The paper describes the results of oedometer tests carried out with samples from Eemian fresh-water deposits and the methods used to determine the preconsolidation pressure from the test results. The influence of creep in the material on the apparent preconsolidation pressure is estimated from a model set up by Moust Jacobsen in 1992. The test results do not show any significant difference in the determined values of the overconsolidation ratio (OCR) for the samples from Hollerup and SolsØ, east and west of the main stationary line for the last ice sheet in Weichselian, respectively. The results, however, te11 nothing about the kind of actions, which has caused the overconsolidation. The determined OCR-values might be due to previous ice caps but a big difference in the two values from Solso indicates a considerable influence from other actions. The sediments from Hollerup and SolsØ are not identical, and the effect of temperature, chemical and biological processes on the apparent preconsolidation pressure has not been evaluated.

Abstract:

Abstract This paper examines the variations and functions of the deictic address pronoun du (you) in the satirical Baroque drama “Absurda Comica. Oder Herr Peter Sequentz” written by Andreas Gryphius. Two types of address forms dominate in the drama, which vary in a highly systematic way. The most common one is the honorific form ihr ‘you’, which appears in addresses to humans of equal social status among both craftsmen and nobles. The more intimate pronoun du mainly occurs when the characters address themselves, their body parts or feelings and deities. Even lovers use the polite pronoun ihr; they switch to du solely when the beloved one is either absent or dead. In addition, there is a switch to du when the characters get into a quarrel, which illustrates the well-known connection of address pronouns to the expression of social deixis and politeness as well as the local, context-sensitive mechanisms of pronoun choice. Finally, generic uses of du are restricted to proverbs in the drama.

Abstract:

Records of new species of vascular plants in Greenland from the last four decades are presented and new phytogeographical data leading to extension of the known distribution limits in Greenland are discussed. Since the publication of the latest edition of the Flora of Greenland in 1978 (Böcher et al. 1978) fieldwork by Greenland Botanical Survey and other expeditions have taken place especially in West and East Greenland and in many remote areas in North and Northeast Greenland. This paper serves as an update of the Flora of Greenland. Twenty species, one subspecies and one new forma have been added to the flora of Greenland: Carex membranacea Hook., Carex miliaris Michx., Carex rhomalea (Fernald) Mack., Equisetum hyemale L., Festuca edlundiae S. Aiken, Consaul and Lefkovich, Festuca groenlandica (Schol.) Frederiksen, Festuca saximontana Rydb., Galium verum L., Geum rossii (R. Br.) Ser., Papaver cornwallisense D. Löve, Papaver dahlianum Nordh., Papaver labradoricum (Fedde) Solstad and Elven, Papaver lapponicum (Tolm.) Nordh., Pedicularis sudetica Willd. ssp. albolabiata Hult., Poa flexuosa Sm., Puccinellia bruggemanni Th. Sør., Ranunculus subrigidus W.B. Drew., Silene vulgaris (Moench) Garcke, Trientalis europaea L. and Veronica officinalis L. in addition to one subspecies Phippsia algida (Sol.) R. Br. ssp. algidiformis (H. Sm.) Löve and Löve. The viviparous form of Poa hartzii f. prolifera has been reported for the first time in Greenland. Presently, the total number of vascular plant species in Greenland is 532. 89 new northern and 28 new southern distribution limits are presented and 26 species are new to the flora province East Greenland, whereas 15 species are new to West Greenland. The numbers of new species to flora provinces North and South Greenland are 14 and one, respectively.

Abstract:

Problem solving merupakan salah satu metode pembelajaran yang penting biasanya digunakan dalam pembelajaran yang membutuhkan jawaban dan pemecahan permasalahan. Metode ini sangat baik digunakan untuk pembinaan sikap ilmiah siswa agar terbiasa memecahkan masalah secara prosedur kerja ilmiah. Critical Thinking merupakan kegiatan berfikir kritis yang dilakukan dengan mengoperasikan potensi intelektual untuk menganalisis, membuat pertimbangan dan mengambil keputusan secara tepat dan melaksanakan secara benar. Strategi Pemecahan masalah Solso dalam Made Wena mengemuka enam tahap dalam pemecahan masalah , yaitu: 1) Identifikasi permasalaahn (identification the problem), 2) Representasi permasalaahn (representation of the problem), 3) Perencanaan pemecahan (planning the solution), 4) Menerapkan /mengimplementasikan perencanaan (executethe plan), 5) Menilai perencanaan (evaluate the plan ), 6) Menilai hasil pemecahan (evaluate the solution). Wankat dan Oreovocz dalam Made Wena mengemukakan tahap –tahap strategi operasional dalam pemecahan masalah sebagai berikut: a) Saya mampu/bisa (I can ). b) Mendefinisikan (define). c) Mengeksplorasi (eksplore). d) Merencanaakan plan (plan). e) Mengoreksi kembali (check). f) Generalisasi (generalize). Hasil proses Implementasi Pembelajaran Berbasis Problem Solving Untuk Meningkatkan Critical Thinking (Hasil belajar) siswa di MTs. Nasy’atul Mujahidin di Ringin Rejo Tiru Lor Gurah Kediri terbagi menjadi dua faktor yaitu :faktor interenn dan exsteren, faktor interen Yaitu: Hendaknya guru lebih menjelaskan lebih dalam perencanaan permasalahan agar para siswa mampu mendiskripsikan secara cepat tanggap kreatif, kritis, idealis, bertanya dalam secara individu dan kelompok. Kurangnya motivasi siswa dari siswa itu sendiri, padatnya aktivitas siswa yang mukim sehingga ada siswa yang mengantuk, kurang antusias karena faktor individu,latar belakang pendidikan yang non agama islam, kurangnya memahami pertanyaan. Sedangkan faktor exterens yaitu: padatnya aktivitas, kurangnya sarana dan prasarana,kelelahan karena padatnya aktivitas bagi siswa mukim, lingkungan keluarga yang non agama, latar belakang pendidikan non Islam.

Abstract:

The development and formation of the cognitive marketing notion are considered in the article. The emergence of cognitive marketing implies the development of a new approach to influencing consumer behavior, namely the formation of consumer consciousness, the creation of a consumption style, which in the future will determine the demand for new products. After the first cognitive revolution, which gave impetus to a more thorough study of these processes, much attention was paid to the study of cognitive psychology, which examines various mental processes, such as sensation and perception, pattern recognition, attention, learning, memory, concept formation, thinking, language, emotions and developmental processes. The essence of cognitive psychology is investigated and works of scientists-psychologists, which explain the essence of the cognitive approach in marketing are analyzed. Scientists who laid the foundations for the development of cognitive psychology are Jean Piaget, Jerome Bruner, Leo Vygotsky, Ulrich Neisser, Robert Solso. Also, the notion of behavioral economics, which combines investigations in the field of psychology and economy, and also generates the basis for cognitive marketing is considered. The article analyzes the works of Leon Festinger, Herbert Simon, Daniel Kahneman and Amos Tversky. All human decisions are almost always based on subjective imagination, depending on values, problem formulation, experience, habits and other personal characteristics. In many cases, people are not inclined to act in accordance with the requirements of neoclassical economics and often show a tendency to a completely irrational behavior. Also, different approaches to the essence of cognitive marketing formulation are analyzed and generalized. Cognitive marketing is an interdisciplinary field that combines cognitive psychology, behavioral economics, classical marketing, which with this synergy allows better understand consumer behavior and expands the tools of research and influence of traditional marketing, to help build effective marketing strategies for product positioning and promotion. Cognitive marketing aims to create new, previously unaware consumer needs for a particular product and creates a new desired style and standard of living, seeked by the consumers of this product.

Abstract Valorisation of tuber protein is relevant for the potato starch industry to create added-value and reduce impact on the environment. Hence, protein content has emerged as a key quality trait for innovative potato breeders. In this study, we estimated trait heritability, explored the relationship between protein content and tuber under-water weight (UWW), inferred haplotypes underlying quantitative trait loci (QTLs) and pinpointed candidate genes. We used a panel of varieties (N = 277) that was genotyped using the SolSTW 20 K Infinium single-nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) marker array. Protein content data were collected from multiple environments and years. Our genome-wide association study (GWAS) identified QTLs on chromosomes 3, 5, 7 and 12. Alleles of StCDF1 (maturity) were associated with QTLs found on chromosome 5. The QTLs on chromosomes 7 and 12 are presented here for the first time, whereas those on chromosomes 3 and 5 co-localized with loci reported in earlier studies. The candidate genes underlying the QTLs proposed here are relevant for functional studies. This study provides resources for genomics-enabled breeding for protein content in potato.

Abstract:

The aim of this study was to test the in vitro sensitivity of two isolates of Monilinia laxa to fungicides approved in integrated and organic production systems. In vitro efficacy of 7 fungicides (Champion 50 WP, Kocide 2000, Nordox 75 WG, Olajos rézkén, Kumulus S, Rézkén, Rézoxiklorid) and another 6 fungicides (Score 25 EC, Efuzin 500 SC, Systane, Folicur Solo, Zato Plusz, Rovral) approved in organic and integrated production systems, respectively, were tested against brown rot of sour cherry. The three isolates showed differences in sensitivity to fungicides. Fungicides (with active ingredients of copper and sulphur) applied in organic production showed relatively high percent growth capacity of M. laxa. Rézkén and Kocide 2000 showed the highest and Kumilus S the lowest efficacy against brown rot. Fungicides applied in integrated production showed relatively low percent growth capacity of M. laxa. Score 25 EC showed the lowest and Rovral and Folicur solso the highest efficacy against M. laxa.

Abstract:

This paper defines the criteria of effective infographics for education. Visualizing information, including that with the help of infographics, is one of the mechanisms to optimize the learning process both in traditional and online format. In the first part of the paper, the author gives a theoretical definition of infographics as a contracted multi-level polysemantic thing. The methodological basis for discussion is provided by the cognitive approach in psyhology and philosophy (R. Arnheim, R. Solso, Y. Valkman) and visual studies (I. Itten, B. Latour, D. Roem, H. Schiffman). Deriving the properties of effective infographics, the author seeks to harmonize empirical data and the results of theoretical studies. The infographic aspects formulated by E.Tafti, Priego, and F. Verbitsky are compared with the results of a survey by L. Harrison on the aesthetic properties of effective infographics. Features of infographics such as scalability, structure-based, focusing on the key points, visual simplicity, and emphasis on the relationship between elements, are by author defined. The difference between infographics and other graphical products is demonstrated. For education it is particularly important that the logic of a structure or image ensures the contraction of information. In turn, the contracted information looks compact and concise. ”Real” infographics have a visual clarity, presence of composition, colour, and image-bearing reference points. Systematic manner enhances the process of developing additional meanings. Aesthetics of the designer‘s infographics represent the reverse side of expediency and logic of a project decision.
