Abstract:
Squilloidea is the most speciose of the stomatopod superfamilies and comprises more than 40 genera. Until 2001, three families were recognised: two extant (Harpiosquillidae, Squillidae) and one extinct (Ursquillidae). Recent studies, however, suggested that Harpiosquillidae is nested among other squillids and was thus synonymised with Squillidae. Interrelationships of all squilloid genera are studied by cladistic analysis based on somatic morphology. Results are used to assess the familial classification and investigate the ‘shape’ of squilloid evolution. The phylogeny of the squilloids shows

Abstract. Photogrammetry has been commonly used for surveying architectural structures over the past two decades; however, this technique faces limitations, particularly in complex, narrow, or dark spaces due to optical constraints. Recently, advanced technologies such as 360° cameras have started to influence established photogrammetric protocols. Capturing an entire scene in a single spherical shot offers significant value for the rapid and efficient surveying of indoor spaces, although new methodologies are needed for data management, storage, and computational optimization. Abstract:
The original description of the stomatopod species Cancer neptuni (currently known as Alima neptuni) has been accepted as being published in the third volume of the twelfth edition of the Systema naturae by Linnaeus (1768a: 226) by virtually all authors (e.g., Manning & Lewinsohn 1986: 13; Holthuis 2000: 17, 18; Ahyong 2001: 188; Ahyong 2002: 362; Ahyong 2005: 206; Lucatelli et al. 2012: 282). Linnaeus (1768a) is known to have been published after 28 January 1768 because a publication of that date is cited in the Prefatio of that work (p. [3], footnote).
