Abstract:
The aim of this work is to select a synthesis method for a broadband matching circuit that provides maximum power transfer from a signal source to a load in the presence of a changing load impedance of a radio engineering device. To achieve this goal, an analysis of the main directions of designing broadband matching circuits (analytical, numerical, graphic-analytical synthesis methods) was carried out. Based on the results of a comparison of synthesis methods, their features (advantages and disadvantages) were indicated. The analysis of methods of synthesis of broadband matching circuits was carried out. For the analysis, the generalized Darlington method, the method of real frequencies, the structural-parametric synthesis method based on the T-matrix apparatus, and the graphic-analytical method based on the Volpert-Smith diagram were chosen). Using these synthesis methods, broadband matching circuits were obtained for various types of loads. Comparison of the results obtained was carried out according to several indicators: the level of the power transfer coefficient in the operating frequency range, the sensitivity of the power transfer coefficient to the change in the ratings of the elements of the matching circuit and the load impedance, provided that the number of elements of the matching circuit is no more than six. Based on the comparison and analysis, it was found that the most preferable synthesis method for solving the problem posed is the method of real frequencies. Its advantage is the use of a combination approach (iterative determination of the parameters of the resistance function with an analytical representation of the transfer function). Matching circuits obtained using this synthesis method provided the highest level of power transmission coefficient, as well as the lowest sensitivity value in a given frequency band for the considered types of loads.

Abstract:
(1) Background: This work presents a high-efficiency, high sensitivity, compact rectifier based on a dual-band impedance matching network that employs a simple and straightforward T-matching circuit, for sub-1 GHz license-free applications. The development of a low-cost RF energy harvester dedicated to the ISM bands is introduced. The proposed rectifier design is optimized to operate at the sub-GHz frequency bands (0.9 to 2.4 GHz), specifically those at the ISM 900 and 2400 MHz. The motivation for this band is due to the low attenuation, well-known fundamental electromagnetic theories and background, and several wireless communications are emitting at those bands, such as RFID (2). Methods: The rectifier design is based on a simple, balanced single-series diode connected with a T-matching circuit. The dual-band performance is achieved by deploying reactive elements in each branch. The full mathematical analysis and simulation results are discussed in the manuscript. (3) Results: The rectifier can achieve a 80 MHz bandwidth around 920 MHz frequency and 200 MHz around the higher band 2.4 GHz. The resultant conversion efficiency level is maintained above 45% at both bands with a peak efficiency reaches up to 70% at the higher band. The optimum terminal load attached to the circuit at which the peak efficiency is achieved, is given as 4.7 kΩ. (4) Conclusion: Due to the compactness and small footprint, simple design, and simple integration with microwave circuits, the proposed rectifier architecture might find several potential applications in wireless RF energy harvesting.

Abstract:
Power Amplifiers (PA) are very indispensable components in the design of numerous types of communication transmitters employed in microwave technology. The methodology is exemplified through the design of a 2.45GHz microwave power Amplifier (PA) for the industrial, scientific and medical (ISM) applications using microstrip technology. The main design target is to get a maximum power gain while simultaneously achieving a maximum output power through presenting the optimum impedance which is characteristically carried out per adding a matching circuit between the source and the input of the power amplifier and between the load and the output of the power amplifier. A "T" matching technique is used at the input and the output sides of transistor for assure in band desired that this circuit without reflections and to obtain a maximum power gain. The proposed power amplifier for microwave ISM applications is designed, simulated and optimized by employing Advanced Design System (ADS) software by Agilent. The PA shows good performances in terms of return loss, output power, power gain and stability; the circuit has an input return loss of -38dB and an output return loss of -33.5dB. The 1-dB compression point is 8.69dBm and power gain of the PA is 19.4dBm. The Rollet's Stability measure B1 and the stability factor K of the amplifier is greater than 0 and 1 respectively, which shows that the circuit is unconditionally stable. The total chip size of the PA is 73.5× 36 mm2.

Salah satu tujuan latihan adalah untuk mengembangkan dan meningkatkan kondisi fisik atlet secara secara maksimal. Untuk mencapai kemampuan puncak, pelatih harus membuat program latihan dan mencari metode latihan yang efektif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh latihan HIIT dan circuit training terhadap kecepatan, kelincahan, power otot tungkai, dan apakah terdapat perbedaan pengaruh latihan HIIT dan circuit training terhadap kecepatan, kelincahan, dan power otot tungkai. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelompok umur 15 dan 16 tahun sebanyak 36 siswa subangkit soccer school yang dibagi menjadi tiga kelompok. Rancangan penelitian menggunakan matching only design, serta analisis data menggunakan uji-T dan MANOVA. Hasil penelitian metode latihan HIIT menunjukkan tingkat signifikansi dari masing-masing variabel sebesar 0.000 hal ini berarti P <0.05 yang artinya terdapat pengaruh latihan HIIT terhadap ketiga variabel terikat. Metode latihan circuit training menunjukkan tingkat signifikansi dari masing-masing variabel sebesar 0.000 hal ini berarti P <0.05 yang artinya terdapat pengaruh latihan circuit training terhadap ketiga variabel terikat. Selain itu terdapat perbedaan pengaruh melalui uji MANOVA nilai sig dari Wilks’ Lambda 0,000, karena itu nilai sig <0,05 sehingga menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan pengaruh latihan HIIT dan circuit training pada kecepatan, kelincahan dan power otot tungkai.

Abstract:
An open-circuit (OpCirc) acetylene uptake cardiac output (Q˙t) method was modified for use during exercise. Two computational techniques were used. OpCirc1 was based on the integrated uptake vs. end-tidal change in acetylene, and OpCirc2 was based on an iterative finite difference modeling method. Six subjects [28–44 yr, peak oxygen consumption (V˙o 2) = 120% predicted] performed cycle ergometry exercise to compareQ˙t using OpCirc and direct Fick methods. An incremental protocol was repeated twice, separated by a 10-min rest, and subsequently subjects exercised at 85–90% of their peak work rate. Coefficient of variation of the OpCirc methods and Fick were highest at rest (OpCirc1, 7%, OpCirc2, 12%, Fick, 10%) but were lower at moderate to high exercise intensities (OpCirc1, 3%, OpCirc2, 3%, Fick, 5%). OpCirc1 and OpCirc2 Q˙t correlated highly with Fick Q˙t( R 2 = 0.90 and 0.89, respectively). There were minimal differences between OpCirc1 and OpCirc2 compared with Fick up to moderate-intensity exercise (<70% peakV˙o 2); however, both techniques tended to underestimate Fick at >70% peakV˙o 2. These differences became significant for OpCirc1 only. Part of the differences between Fick and OpCirc methods at the higher exercise intensities are likely related to inhomogeneities in ventilation and perfusion matching ( R 2 = 0.36 for Fick − OpCirc1 vs. alveolar-to-arterial oxygen tension difference). In conclusion, both OpCirc methods provided reproducible, reliable measurements ofQ˙t during mild to moderate exercise. However, only OpCirc2 appeared to approximate FickQ˙t at the higher work intensities.

The article discusses ways to increase the operating frequency band of a symmetrical broadband vibrator in printed version for a phased array antenna. The equivalent circuit of such an emitter is described. Various designs of an emitter made on a Rogers RT5880 dielectric substrate with a thickness of t = 1.5 mm and εr = 2.2 and the results of electromagnetic modeling are considered. A wide working band is achieved due to the introduction of a dual-circuit system and a modified geometry of the vibrator arms. Topologies, as well as matching and directivity characteristics of three types of antennas are given. The developed antenna is intended for use in broadband systems both as a separate independent antenna and as a radiator for digital phased antenna arrays. The CST Microwave studio environment was used to simulate the emitter.

When designing radioelectronic devices, that are included in the composition of various systems, it is important to solve broadband matching problem and filtering problem. However, usually these problems are separated and not considered together. Moreover, the synthesis of filters does not take into account the behavior of impedances of the generator and the load in the stopbands. The solution of the complex problem is actual, since it allows expanding the functionality of the device, which can greatly simplify the construction of the radio engineering product. It should be noted that in the known literature solution of this problem in such a formulation is not considered. The aim of the work is to develop a synthesis method and algorithm of broadband devices that connect arbitrary immitances of the generator and the load, and these devices should perform simultaneously functions of both matching and filtering in reactive lumped electric element base and in distributed electric element base, limited only by transmission lines with T-waves. In this paper, a two-stage automated method of synthesis presented here stage allows at the first to adequately find a good initial solution to the posed problem (determining structure and parameters of the broadband matching and filtering quadrupole), in the second stage this approach allows to find the optimal solution to the complex problem, taking into account the constraints on physical and circuit realizability. In this work, the synthesis of broadband matching and filtering devices in lumped and distributed electrical element basis is carried out, and these devices connect complex impedances of the source and the load. The characteristics of the devices obtained after the synthesis show that the solution of the complex problem of matching and filtering gives a significant improvement in filtering properties with small losses in the level of transmitted power.

This paper proposes a novel single-layer, low-profile harmonic transponder to be integrated with the printable diodes based on Si particles. The introduced prototype consists of two bowtie dipoles that are directly matched to the harmonic generation element at a fundamental 2.45GHz frequency and also at the corresponding second harmonic 4.9GHz frequency. Therefore, the antennas and T-matching parts can be manufactured as separate inlays using a single layer-substrate. Besides the new prototype, the harmonic conversion loss (CL) is theoretically and experimentally investigated. In this regard, the equivalent circuit is driven and utilized to analyze the CL performance with variations in fundamental frequency and input power. The introduced transponder outperforms the state-of-the-art work from the printability, size, and CL point of views.

Abstract:
This paper presents the design of a compact 2.45 GHz microstrip rectenna for wireless sensors’ power supply. In energy harvesting system, the ambient RF energy can be collected by the rectenna and converted to direct current, therefore, it can be applied to the power supply of low-power wireless sensor. Voltage doubling rectifier circuit and T-type microstrip impedance matching network are applied to this rectenna to increase the output voltage and the rectification efficiency. The antenna is fabricatied ​​by using double PCB board (FR4), and it is optimized by ADS to achieve the best performance. The measurement results show that the rectifier can reach the highest conversion efficiency of 78% when the load resistance is 320 Ω and the input power is 18 dBm. It also greatly improves rectenna’s conversion efficiency at lower input power when the input power is-20 dBm, which has great practical value for supplying low power consumption sensors.

An ultra-wideband (UWB) printed antenna with dual band-notched characteristic is presented in this paper. The proposed antenna is composed of a semi-circular patch fed by a tapered coplanar waveguide (CPW) and an unclosed ground plane, which are printed onto the same side of a FR4 printed circuit board (PCB) with an overall size of 30 mm × 30 mm × 1.5 mm. By embedding a simple arc-shaped slot in the patch and adding a T-shaped strip on the top of the patch, two notched frequency bands for rejection of WiMAX and WLAN system can be realized. The characteristics of the proposed antenna are investigated by using the software HFSS and validated experimentally, both simulated and measured results show that the proposed antenna prototype achieves good impedance matching over an frequency band from 2.1011.40 GHz for VSWR2 with two notched bands over the frequency range of 5-5.95 GHz and 3.1-3.9 GHz. Furthermore, a relatively stable gain and suitable radiation patterns are also achieved in both lower and upper UWB frequency band.

Abstract:
An asymmetric DGS consisting of two square headed slots connected transversely with a rectangular slot is etched in the ground plane underneath a high-low impedance microstrip line. It provides a band-reject filtering characteristics with sharp transition. Thus, it may be modeled as m-derived filter section. Accordingly, T-type LC equivalent circuit is proposed and LC parameters are extracted. A planar composite lowpass filter is designed by image parameter method and implemented by different DGS units. A composite filter requires at least three filter sections, of which two m-derived sections and one constant k-section. In proposed scheme, one such m-derived section is directly replaced by proposed DGS unit, whose cut-off frequency is same as that of designed m-derived section. The other m-derived section implemented by proposed DGS unit divided into equivalent two L-sections which will act as a termination for impedance matching. A constant k-section has been realized by a dumbbell shaped DGS having same cutoff frequency. Here lumped LC parameters are directly replaced by the equivalent LC values of the DGSs and therefore, produce almost ideal filter characteristics by overcoming the limitations of microstrip technology.

Abstract:
In this paper, a novel 3D planar inverted-L antenna (PILA) Ultrahigh Frequency (UHF) Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) tag mountable on metallic surfaces is proposed for the Internet of Things (IoT) indoor localization applications. The proposed tag antenna (45 mm × 82 mm × 4 mm or 0.137λ × 0.25λ × 0.012λ) is designed for mounting on metallic objects. The 3D PILA antenna is fabricated using a copper sheet of thickness 1 mm and air as the dielectric substrate in order to minimize costs for materials and realization. In the design, T-slot has been inserted in the radiating element for tuning of the tag’s resonance for achieving good matching with the chip. Also, a simple equivalent circuit model has been obtained to analyze the impedance of the 3D PILA. Based on the optimized design, the fabricated prototype has been measured in the anechoic chamber. The resonant frequency of the proposed tag is stable, and it is not affected much by the metallic object. The measurement results of the antenna prototype demonstrated a reasonable agreement with the simulation results, and a read range of 3.6 m was measured inside an anechoic chamber. Most importantly, in the building hallway, the proposed tag is able to achieve a maximum read distance of 18 m with a transmitted power of 31.5 dBm at 867 MHz when placed on metal. With the 3D PILA antenna structure, the proposed antimetal tag is a suitable solution that can be integrated into an indoor localization scenario.

Abstract:
This research present a design of a higher gain (66.38dB) for PHEMT LNA using an inductive drain feedback technique for wireless application at 5.8GHz. The amplifier it is implemented using PHEMT FHX76LP transistor devices. The designed circuit is simulated with Ansoft Designer SV. The LNA was designed using T-network as a matching technique was used at the input and output terminal, inductive generation to the source and an inductive drain feedback. The low noise amplifier (LNA) using lumped-component provides a noise figure 0.64 dB and a gain (S<sub>21</sub>) of 68.94 dB. The output reflection (S<sub>22</sub>), input reflection (S<sub>11</sub>) and return loss (S<sub>12</sub>) are -17.37 dB, -15.77 dB and -88.39 dB respectively. The measurement shows the stability was at 4.54 and 3-dB bandwidth of 1.72 GHz. While, the low noise amplifier (LNA) using Murata manufactured component provides a noise figure 0.60 dB and a gain (S<sub>21</sub>) of 66.38 dB. The output reflection (S<sub>22</sub>), input reflection (S<sub>11</sub>) and return loss (S<sub>12</sub>) are -13.88 dB, -12.41 dB and -89.90 dB respectively. The measurement shows the stability was at 6.81 and 3-dB bandwidth of 1.70 GHz. The input sensitivity more than -80 dBm exceeded the standards required by IEEE 802.16.

A broadband rectangular waveguide to substrate integrated waveguide power divider for hybrid beam forming networks is presented. Rectangular waveguide symmetric E-plane irises are used to realize a multi-section matching network. A hybrid circuit and full-wave design procedure are described and adopted to synthesize three matching networks with one, two, and three irises, progressively increasing the bandwidth and exceeding the state of the art in the last two cases. Three proof-of-concept prototypes are manufactured and tested to validate the design procedure. Good agreement between simulated and measured performance confirms the validity of the proposed solution.

The ideal lossless symmetrical reciprocal network (ILSRN) is constructed and introduced to resolve the complex interconnections of two arbitrary microwave networks. By inserting the ILSRNs, the complex interconnections can be converted into the standard one-by-one case without changing the characteristics of the previous microwave networks. Based on the algorithm of the generalized cascade scattering matrix, a useful derivation on the excitation coefficients of antenna arrays is firstly proposed with consideration of the coupling effects. And then, the proposed techniques are applied on the microwave circuits and antenna arrays. Firstly, an improved magic-T is optimized, fabricated, and measured. Compared with the existing results, the prototype has a wider bandwidth, lower insertion loss, better return loss, isolation, and imbalances. Secondly, two typical linear waveguide slotted arrays are designed. Both the radiation patterns and scattering parameters at the input ports agree well with the desired goals. Finally, the feeding network of a two-element microstrip antenna array is optimized to decrease the mismatch at the input port, and a good impedance matching is successfully achieved.

In this paper, we present a Ku-band 50 W internally-matched power amplifier that asymmetrically combines the power transistor cells of the GaN high electron mobility transistor (HEMT) (CGHV1J070D) from Wolfspeed. The amplifier is designed using a large-signal transistor cell model in the foundry process, and asymmetric power combining, which consists of a slit pattern, oblique wire bonding and an asymmetric T-junction, is applied to obtain the amplitude/phase balance of the combined signals at the transistor cell combining position. Input and output matching circuits are implemented using a thin film process on a titanate substrate and an alumina substrate with the relative dielectric constants of 40 and 9.8, respectively. The pulsed measurement of a 330 μs pulse period and 6% duty cycle shows the maximum saturated output power of 57 to 66 W, drain efficiency of 40.3 to 46.7%, and power gain of 5.3 to 6.0 dB at power saturation from 16.2 to 16.8 GHz.

BackgroundDespite behavioural signs of flattened affect, patients affected by schizophrenia show enhanced sensitivity to negative stimuli. The current literature concerning neural circuitry for emotions supports dysregulations of cortico-limbic networks, but gives contrasting results. Adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) could persistently influence emotional regulation and neural correlates of response to emotional stimuli in healthy humans. This study evaluated the effect of ACEs and chronic undifferentiated schizophrenia on neural responses to emotional stimuli (negative facial expression).MethodBrain blood-oxygen-level-dependent functional magnetic resonance imaging neural responses to a face-matching paradigm, and regional grey matter (GM) volumes were studied at 3.0 T in the amygdala, hippocampus, anterior cingulated cortex (ACC) and prefrontal cortex (PFC). The severity of ACEs was assessed. Participants included 20 consecutively admitted in-patients affected by chronic undifferentiated schizophrenia, and 20 unrelated healthy volunteers from the general population.ResultsPatients reported higher ACEs than controls. Worse ACEs proportionally led to decreasing responses in the amygdala and hippocampus, and to increasing responses in the PFC and ACC in all participants. Patients showed higher activations in the amygdala and hippocampus, and lower activations in the PFC and ACC. Higher ACEs were associated with higher GM volumes in the PFC and ACC, and schizophrenia was associated with GM reduction in all studied regions.ConclusionsStructural and functional brain correlates of emotional reactivity are influenced by both current chronic undifferentiated schizophrenia and the severity of past ACEs.

IntroductionThere is evidence that, besides limbic brain structures, prefrontal and insular cortical activations and deactivations are involved in the pathophysiology of panic disorder.Objectives and aimsUsing fMRI, this study investigated BOLD response patterns to stimulation with individually selected panic-specific pictures in patients with panic disorder with agoraphobia (PDA) and healthy controls. Structures of interest were the prefrontal, cingulate, and insular cortex, and the amygdalo-hippocampal complex.Methods21 PDA subjects (12 female, 9 male) and 21 matched controls were investigated using a Siemens 3 T scanner. Before, PDA subjects gave ratings on 120 pictures showing characteristic panic/agoraphobia situations (PA). 20 pictures with the individually highest ratings were selected. 20 matching pictures showing aversive but not panic-specific stimuli (A) and 80 neutral pictures (N) from the International Affective Picture-System (IAPS) were chosen for each subject. Anxiety and depression ratings were recorded.ResultsGroup comparisons revealed a significantly greater BOLD response in PDA subjects than in controls in the insular cortices, left inferior frontal gyrus, dmPFC, the left hippocampal formation, and left caudatum (p < .005), when PA and N responses were compared. Group comparisons for stimulation with A compared to PA showed activation of similar brain regions in both groups but with different peak coordinates.ConclusionsResults indicate specific activation patterns to panic-specific picture stimulation in PDA patients. Distinct peak coordinates between PA and A differ between groups. This might implicate that the brain circuits underlying processing of aversive stimuli might differ in their function in PDA patients compared to healthy subjects.

Cell is the key component in an optically pumped magnetometer. It is necessary to light the cell before measurement and to maintain the illuminated state. The accuracy and stability of magnetic values from the instrument are closely related to the brightness and stability of the cell. The cell is also the largest power dissipation component in the sensor probe, so the overall energy consumption of the magnetometer is highly correlated with it. This paper studies the excitation circuit of cell in the magnetometer. Firstly, we demonstrate the resistivity characteristic of a cell using simulations. After that, based on the combination of signal source impedance and transmission line impedance, the matching network of excitation circuit is analyzed. We demonstrate that both T-network and Π-network can achieve the impedance matching of the transmitter circuit by a simulation experiment, under the condition of 50MHz signal, 10Ω source impedance, and 50Ω transmission line impedance. T-network shows the best performance in frequency selectivity and energy transfer. Finally, the simulation experiment also proves that a circuit composed of a self-coupled coil and an LC parallel resonant network can realize the impedance matching and the passband selection of the receiver circuit by optimizing values of the inductance and capacitance, and turns of the self-coupled coil simultaneously. The power consumption of the whole high-frequency excitation circuit of cell in the optically pumped magnetometer is only about 6W.

Currently, various types of non-traditional and renewable sources of electrical energy are widely used. If the energy carrier of such sources is free, in the process of operation it is advisable to select the maximum possible power from them, regardless of the fact that the utilization factor of the source's electrical energy in this case may be relatively low. To obtain the maximum amount of electrical energy from the source, two conditions must be met: 1) the source must be brought to the maximum power point (МPP); 2) energy from the source must be taken continuously. As you know, to bring the source into the MPP, it is necessary that the load resistance be equal to the output resistance of the source. Otherwise, the power will be taken from the source, which is less than the maximum possible. Therefore, in cases where the load resistance differs from the output resistance of the source, a matching switching regulator is turned on between the source and the load to match the output resistance of the source with the load resistance. In this case, the input impedance of the switching regulator will be the load of the source. This resistance depends on the load resistance of the regulator, as well as on the relative time of the closed (open) state of the controlled switch S of the regulator t*. Thus, by adjusting the parameter t*, it is possible to ensure the fulfillment of the condition for removing the source into the MPP at various values of the load resistance. In this case, the maximum possible power of the source will be transferred to the load, regardless of the value of its resistance. The dependence of the output parameters of the switching regulator on the parameter t* describe its regulation characteristics. Since, when operating in the maximum power transmission mode, the internal resistance of the source and the load resistance are of the same order of magnitude, when determining the regulating characteristics of the regulator, the internal resistance of the source must be taken into account. The aim of the work is to analyze the control characteristics of the regulator, which operates in the mode of transferring maximum power from the source of electrical energy to the load, as well as to determine the conditions under which it is possible and advisable to operate in this mode. These issues were analyzed using the example of the two most common switching regulator circuits - step-down and step-up regulators. It is shown in the work that, in contrast to the up-type switching regulator, in the down-type regulator, the energy from the power source is taken in discrete portions. Therefore, it can ensure the selection of maximum power from the source only in the t* = 1 mode at a certain value of the load resistance. To ensure continuous extraction of energy from the source, at the input of the switching regulator of the step-down type, it is necessary to install a capacitance of sufficient value. In this case, the circuit can provide maximum power transfer from the source at different load resistances. The paper presents the adjusting characteristics of the analyzed circuits for the case of their operation in the mode of transferring maximum power from the power source to the load, which makes it possible to determine the parameter t* at which the power source is output to the MPP. It is shown that each of the considered circuits can provide the output of the power supply to the MPP only in a certain range of variation of the load resistance of the regulator. For each regulator, an appropriate range of variation of the t* parameter is indicated, depending on whether the power source is a voltage source or a current source.

AbstractThe low frequency plateau in the frequency response of an untuned micro-resonator permits broadband radio-frequency reception, albeit at the expense of optimal signal-to-noise ratio for a particular nucleus. In this contribution we determine useful figures of merit for broadband micro-coils, and thereby explore the parametric design space towards acceptable simultaneous excitation and reception of a microfluidic sample over a wide frequency band ranging from 13C to 1H, i.e., 125–500 MHz in an 11.74 T magnet. The detector achieves 37% of the performance of a comparably sized, tuned and matched resonator, and a linewidth of 17 ppb using standard magnet shims. The use of broadband detectors circumvents numerous difficulties introduced by multi-resonant RF detector circuits, including sample loading effects on matching, channel isolation, and field distortion.

A long-term stationary experiment was conducted to examine for the purpose nine field crop rotation patterns different in the number of fields (four to six), set of crops, and their succession in crop rotation. The respective shares of legumes, oilseeds, and cereals in the cropping pattern were 17 to 33, 17 to 40, and 50 to 67 %. It has been established that in case of no-till field crop cultivation the economic efficiency of plant production depends on the set of crops and their succession in rotation. The most economically efficient type of crop rotation is the soya-winter wheat-peas-winter wheat-sunflower-corn six-field rotation with two fields of legumes: in this rotation 1 ha of crop rotation area yields 3 850 grain units per ha at a grain unit prime cost of 5.46 roubles; the plant production output return and profitability were 20,888 roubles per ha and 113 %, respectively. The high production profitabilities provided by the soya-winter wheat-sunflower four-field and the soya-winter-wheat-sunflower-corn-winter wheat five-field crop rotation are 108.7 and 106.2 %, respectively. The inclusion of winter wheat in crop rotation for two years in a row reduces the second winter wheat crop yield by 80 to 100 %, which means a certain reduction in the grain unit harvesting rate to 3.48-3.57 thousands per ha of rotation area and cuts the production profitability down to 84.4-92.3 %. The relevance of the topic has to do with an increased global interest in this region. The paper is aimed at considering the basic principles of developing and the procedure of testing seismic instruments for use at ultralow climatic temperatures. In this paper the indicated issue is considered through the example of a seismic module designed for petroleum and gas exploration by passive seismoacoustic methods. The seismic module is a direct-burial portable unit of around 5 kg in weight, designed to continuously measure and record microseismic triaxial orthogonal (ZNE) noise in a range from 0.1 to 45 Hz during several days in autonomous mode. The functional chart of designing the seismic module was considered, and concrete conclusions were made for choosing the necessary components to meet the ultralow-temperature operational requirements. The conclusions made served for developing appropriate seismic module. In this case, the components and tools used included a SAFT MP 176065 xc low-temperature lithium cell, industrial-spec electronic component parts, a Zhaofeng Geophysical ZF-4.5 Chinese primary electrodynamic seismic sensor, housing seal parts made of frost-resistant silicone materials, and finely dispersed silica gel used as water-retaining sorbent to avoid condensation in the housing. The paper also describes a procedure of low-temperature collation tests at the lab using a New Brunswick Scientific freezing plant. The test results proved the operability of the developed equipment at ultralow temperatures down to -55°C. In addition, tests were conducted at low microseismic noises in the actual Arctic environment. The possibility to detect signals in a range from 1 to 10 Hz at the level close to the NLNM limit (the Peterson model) has been confirmed, which allows monitoring and exploring petroleum and gas deposits by passive methods. As revealed by this study, the suggested approaches are efficient in developing high-precision mobile seismic instruments for use at ultralow climatic temperatures. The solution of the considered instrumentation and methodical issues is of great practical significance as a constituent of the generic problem of Arctic exploration. The article analyzes the results of treatment of patients with excess length of the second metatarsal bones that underwent osteotomy with and without osteosynthesis. The results of treatment of patients who underwent metatarsal shortening due to classical Weil-osteotomy with and without osteosynthesis were analyzed. The first group consisted of 34 patients. They underwent classical Weil osteotomy. The second group included 44 patients in whomosteotomy of the second metatarsal bone were not by the screw. When studying the results of the treatment in the immediate postoperative period, weeks 6, 12, slightly better results were observed in patients of the first group, while one year after surgical treatment the results in both groups were comparable. One year after surgical treatment, there were 2.9% (1 patient) of unsatisfactory results in the first group and 4.5% (2 patients) in the second group. Considering the comparability of the results of treatment in remote postoperative period, the choice of concrete method remains with the operating surgeon. Methods. A prospective 3-year study of 86 healthy dogs (aged 1-7 yrs) of different breeds and of both sexes. Echo homogeneity and echogenicity of the stomach and intestines wall were determined by the method of Silina, T.L., et al. (2010) in absolute values ​​of average brightness levels of ultrasound image pixels using the 8-bit scale with 256 shades of gray. Results. Quantitative echogenicity indicators of the stomach and the small intestine wall in dogs were determined. Based on the numerical values ​​characterizing echogenicity distribution in each layer of a separate structure of the digestive system, the coefficient of gastric echogenicity is determined as 1:2.4:1.1 (mucosa/submucosa/muscle layers, respectively), the coefficient of duodenum and jejunum echogenicity is determined as 1:3.5:2 and that of ileum is 1:1.8:1. Datieva, DOI: https://doi.org/10.26782/jmcms.spl.10/2020.06.00046 Abstract: The aim of this work was to assess the functional reserves of the body to quantify individual health; adaptation, psychophysiological characteristics of the health quality of medical students in different seasons of the year. When studying the temporal organization of physiological functions, the rhythm parameters of physiological functions were determined, followed by processing the results using the Cosinor Analysis program, which reveals rhythms with an unknown period for unequal observations, evaluates 5 parameters of sinusoidal rhythms (mesor, amplitude, acrophase, period, reliability). The essence of desynchronization is the mismatch of circadian rhythms among themselves or destruction of the rhythms architectonics (instability of acrophases or their disappearance). Desynchronization with respect to the rhythmic structure of the body is of a disregulatory nature, most pronounced in pathological desynchronization. High neurotism, increased anxiety reinforces the tendency to internal desynchronization, which increases with stress. During examination stress, students experience a decrease in the stability of the temporary organization of the biosystem and the tension of adaptive mechanisms develops, which affects attention, mental performance and the quality of adaptation to the educational process. Time is shortened and the amplitude of the “initial minute” decreases, personal and situational anxiety develops, and the level of psychophysiological adaptation decreases. The results of the work are priority because they can be used in assessing quality and level of health. Tsvetkov, DOI: https://doi.org/10.26782/jmcms.spl.10/2020.06.00047 Abstract: The present study of comparison methods based on the triadic model introduces the following concepts: the relation of comparability and the relation of comparison, and object comparison and attributive comparison. The difference between active and passive qualitative comparison is shown, two triadic models of passive and active comparison and models for comparing two and three objects are described. Triadic comparison models are proposed as an alternative to dyadic comparison models. Comparison allows finding the common and the different; this approach is proposed for the analysis of the nomothetic and ideographic method of obtaining knowledge. The nomothetic method identifies and evaluates the general, while the ideographic method searches for unique in parameters and in combinations of parameters. Triadic comparison is used in systems and methods of argumentation, as well as in the analysis of consistency/inconsistency.
