The past decade has marked a shift in Web development as users have become accustomed to Web applications with dynamic content and enhanced user experience. Different languages and technologies have been utilised to make way for such applications, gradually stretching existing standards and protocols to its limits. The field of Web development has been characterized by a lack of coherent architectural concepts, partly due to the absences of standard protocols that support modern communication styles. As a result of this, systems specifically designed for real-time data delivery have been requi

Popular Internet applications such as web browsing, and web video download use HTTP protocol as application over the standard Transport Control Protocol (TCP). Traditional TCP behavior is unsuitable for this style of application because their transmission rate and traffic pattern are different from conventional bulk transfer applications. Previous works have analyzed the interaction of these applications with the congestion control algorithms in TCP and the proposed Congestion Window Validation (CWV) as a solution. However, this method was incomplete and has been shown to present drawbacks. Th

The increasing use of web applications is certainly proportional to the increase in cybersecurity attacks that occur. Many companies or agencies are less concerned about the security of the web applications that are used so that these web applications can be easily hacked. On the other hand, there are many ways to protect websites from hacker attacks, one of which is implementing waf. WAF is an application or device that has the ability to filter, monitor, and block traffic that goes to a website. The waf used in this study is a cloud-based waf, namely azure application gateway.
