Li-Fraumeni syndrome is a disease with an autosomal dominant inheritance of high penetrance and was originally described in 1969. The definitive diagnosis is based on the identification of a pathogenic variant in the TP53 gene. Birch and Chompret and classical models were used as the clinical criteria to identify individuals who are the candidates for molecular screening.
