Five new meroterpenoids, zizhines P-S and U (1−4,7), together with two known meroterpenoids (5 and 6) were isolated from Ganoderma sinensis. Abstract An Al(Mg)-NiO composite was manufactured using combined mechanical alloying (MA) and powder consolidation methods that yielded well-consolidated and very-fine grained bulk material. AbstractGenetic and non-genetic factors affecting survival during the post-weaning period from 3 to 12 months of age were assessed in 823 kids (217 Black Bengal, 410 Jamunapari × Black Bengal and 196 Beetal × Black Bengal) born during 1981-86. The overall survival rates during 3 to 6 and 6 to 12 months of age were 79·22 (s.e. 4·06) and 82·02 (s.e. 5·49)% respectively. Variation in survival rate during 3 to 6 months of age was significant due to season of their birth (P &lt; 0·01) and birth weight (P &lt; 0·05). Investigations of the effect of an impurity (silver) segregating along the grain boundaries of nickel on the evolution of the structure and grain-boundary ensemble under conditions of diffusion annealing at a temperature of 823 K for 6 hours have been carried out.
