This bachelor’s thesis focuses on the effect of outliers on the one-way analysis of variance and examines whether the estimate in ANOVA is robust and whether the actual test itself is robust from influence of extreme outliers. The robustness of the estimates is examined using the breakdown point while the robustness of the test is examined by simulating the hypothesis test under some extreme situations. Analysis of variance (ANOVA) is a robust test against the normality assumption, but it may be inappropriate when the assumption of homogeneity of variance has been violated. Welch ANOVA and the Kruskal-Wallis test (a non-parametric method) can be applicable for this case. In this study we compare the three methods in empirical type I error rate and power, when heterogeneity of variance occurs and find out which method is the most suitable with which cases including balanced/unbalanced, small/large sample size, and/or with normal/non-normal distributions.

วัตถุประสงค์สำคัญของการวิจัยครั้งนี้คือ เพื่อสร้างโปรแกรมคอมพิวเตอร์ช่วยสอนแบบสื่อหลากหลายสำหรับช่วยให้นิสิตชั้นปีที่ 2 ของจุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัยให้เรียนรายวิชาภาษาอังกฤษพื้นฐาน 2 (FE 2) ด้วยตนเอง และเพื่อพัฒนาโปรแกรมดังกล่าวให้มีประสิทธิภาพและเหมาะสมกับผู้เรียนดังกล่าวแล้ว พลวิจัยครั้งนี้ได้แก่นิสิตชั้นปีที่ 1 จำนวน 75 คน จาก 3 ตอนเรียนและ3 คณะวิชา คือ ครุศาสตร์ พาณิชยศาสตร์และการบัญชี และเภสัชศาสตร์ จากประชากรทั้งสิ้นจำนวน 3,803 คนที่ลงทะเบียนเรียนรายวิชา FE 2 ในภาคปลายของปีการศึกษา 2542 เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยได้แก่แบบทดสอบ 5 ชุด แบบวัดเจตคติ 1 ชุด และโปรแกรมคอมพิวเตอร์ช่วยสอนแบบสื่อหลากห

Spectropolarimetric research has focused on target detections of materials that have a high degree of contrast from background materials, such as identification of a manmade object embedded in a vegetative background. This study presents an approach using spectropolarimetric imagery in visible, shortwave infrared, and longwave infrared bands to differentiate between similar natural and manmade materials. การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาทัศนคติเกี่ยวกับการสร้างภาพยนตร์ไทย และทัศนคติเกี่ยวกับคุณค่าภาพยนตร์ไทยของผู้ชมในเขตกรุงเทพมหานครยุคหลังเศรษฐกิจวิกฤตระหว่างปี 2545-46 มีจำนวนภาพยนตร์ไทยที่ฉาย จำนวน 67 เรื่อง โดยสุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการศึกษาจากผู้ชมที่อยู่ในย่านต่าง ๆ ในเขตกรุงเทพมหานคร 18 ย่านจำนวนโรงภาพยนตร์ชั้นหนึ่งทั้งหมด 220 โรงภาพยนตร์ รวม 8 เครือฯ กลุ่มตัวอย่างจำนวน 487 คน ใช้แบบสอบถามเป็นเครื่องมือในการเก็บข้อมูล ส่วนการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล แจกแจงร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย T-test, One-way ANOVA, Pearson’s Correlation Coefficient ประมวลผลโดยใช้โปรแกรม SPSS/PC ผลการวิจัยพบว่ากลุ่มผู้ชมภาพยนตร์ไท
