The Intellectual heritage of India is an integral part of Islamic civilization in Indian subcontinent and the development of Islamic civilization in India represents a regional pattern or a local formation of this civilization that occurred as a reaction and in response to the developments that were the result of Islam's insistence on survival in India and its fear for itself of being lost. The link among Urdu, Persian, Arabic and Turkish literatures is that each of them is considered influenced in its dimensions by Islamic civilization that emerges from the religion, science and art, and it is not permissible under any circumstances to sever the link among them, and we give an example for that saying that Persian literature is influenced by Arabic literature and the ancient Turkish literature is influenced by Persian literature influenced by Arabic literature, and Urdu literature is influenced by Arabic, Persian and Turkish literature, and from here we find similarities among these literatures that depict and speak about Islamic civilization in its various manifestations. Language of these different literatures is influenced by Arabic, as they contain countless Arabic words that evidence that they are all branched out from one origin, which is Islamic religion.

The process of writing in pre-islamic Arabia had several periods and there were several factors that influenced the development of literary writing in Pre-Islamic Arabia, which had five separate periods at each time. This paper aims to examine more deeply the process of literary writing in pre-Islamic Arabia, which is studied through the book Pre-Islamic Arabic History written by Dr. Jawwad Ali. This study uses a literature study that explores Jahiliyyah Arabic literature from the perspective of social, religion and thoughts that influenced Jahiliyyah Arabic literature. The results of the study of Jahiliyyah Arabic literature are expected to increase the understanding of Arabic literature reviewers towards society and knowledge and aspirations about the culture of Jahiliyyah Arabic society from the perspective of historical and literary experiences

Arabic poetry has changed after the advent of Islam; that poets started to adopt Islamic concepts and values to create a new method of rising and boasting and searching for the metaphysical and the abstract. This new vision was accompanied with the Islamic entity and the elevated abstract; thus, this has influenced poets’ vocabulary, methods, and poetic diction. This research aims to uncover the elevated intellectual transformations that Islam came up with in the Arabic poetry and their influence upon the Arabic poem and its subjects in the Islamic age. This is done by showing the religious elevated meaning and the humane tendency that is embodied in poetic patterns that reflected Islam as a big intellectual authority on the Arabic poetry. The study has examined three poetic patterns which are: the self-religious pattern in the poetry of Hassan Bin Thabit; the second pattern is the world of platonic love in the poetry of Jameel Buthaina. The last pattern discusses the horizon of liberty, sacrifice and the concept of life and death in the poetry of “Khawarej.”

Resumen
Poetry is an accumulation of beauty and imagination in the form of compositions that represent the subtlety of feelings and have messages that penetrate the recesses of the soul. Although the poetry comes from a time when there was not yet has a light of divine truth, there has been poetry with spiritual values touching the spiritual experiences. Therefore, this study aims to examine poetry that has spiritual value in pre-Islamic Arabic literature. Content-analysis is applied to find the spiritual values in a selected poetry. The result shows that spiritual values emerged such as kindness and compassion for others; generosity; deep thoughts about death; peacefulness; keeping promise; sincerity.

In this book Geert Jan van Gelder, Laudian Professor of Arabic at the University of Oxford, studies how Arab–Islamic culinary culture was represented in Arabic literature. He thus contributes to our knowledge of both Arabic literature and, indirectly, Arab–Islamic gastronomy and cookery. Although representations of food as such are not the finest aspects of Arabic literature, and the preparation and consumption of food are not the finest aspects of Arab–Islamic civilization, his perspective throws light on little-studied facets of Arab–Islamic culture that are worth noting.

The focus of this paper is the authenticity of the hadith, because in addition to the problem of the method used, it is also a matter of sources that are problematic. One source that is often used is literature, especially pre-Islamic Arabic literature (jahiliyah). The relevance of literature in authenticating hadith gives rise to a question, the extent to which the validity of pre-Islamic Arabic Literature can be used as evidence and what are the requirements that must be met when the study of the authenticity of hadith uses pre-Islamic Literature as one of the proofs. Using a Using a descriptive analytic method with a historical approach, this paper concludes that pre-Islamic Arabic literature when used as a source of authenticity of the hadith then the task of research is to reduce the difference in question. The reduction is intended so that the legality of literature as a source of hadith authentication can be accepted. This reduction includes: (1) authorship. Just as the news attributed to the Prophet must be proven to have its source in the Prophet, pre-Islamic Arabic Literature must also be proven to come from pre-Islamic Arabic writers, (2) narration. Pre-Islamic Arabic literature must also be tested extrinsically as an extrinsic factor test on the Hadith of the Prophet, (3) context. Literature was born not in an empty space so that the content of pre-Islamic Arabic literature must also reflect the life of the Arab Nation in pre-Islamic times. Therefore, when the reduction has not yet been carried out, in the context of the accuracy of the study of the authenticity of the hadith it cannot be accepted.

Arabic literature during the Islamic period played a crucial role, serving as a central force in shaping the Muslim community. This research aims to analyze the development of Arabic literature during the Islamic period (shadr Al-Islam) in the forms of syi’ir and natsar. It employs a qualitative descriptive research method with a literature review approach. Data were sourced from journals, books, notes, and other documents related to the development of Arabic literature during the Islamic period. Data were collected through documentation techniques and analyzed using qualitative data analysis methods, including data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The research findings indicate that the development of Arabic literature during the Islamic period manifested in the forms of poetry and prose, both of which were present in two periods: the era of the Prophet and the era of the Rightly Guided Caliphs. The main characteristics include the use of language styles that constantly remind of Allah, containing verses of qauliyah and kauniyah. These literary works uphold the principles of amar ma’ruf nahi munkar, enjoining good and forbidding evil, marked by deep compassion and wisdom, reflecting Islamic teachings. The themes often revolve around profound love and devotion to Allah, the Prophet, parents, and dedication to struggles in the path of God. This love extends to encompass all of Allah's creations, reflecting a holistic and inclusive worldview

The novel of Islamic history by Jurjī Zaidān is one of the works of Modern Arabic literature which appeared at the end of the 19th century. Since it was first published, as a serial story in al-Hilal magazine, this novel has been read and has received a great response. Zaidān composed 22 titles of novels from 1891 to 1914. After Zaidān's death in 1914, his novels were still read by the public, reprinted, and even translated in various languages in the world. Zaidān’s Islamic historical novels still exist, both within the scope of modern Arabic literature and in Arabic thought, with many studies to date. Research on this novel is reviewed and analyzed to reveal the diversity of perspectives to be mapped. Found nine perspectives in the study of Islamic historical novels; the perspective of the development of Arabic novel genres, the perspective of authorship and pioneering in Arabic novel genre, the perspective of the popularization of Arab-Islamic history, critical perspectives of Islamic historical facts, intrinsic literary criticism perspective, narrative structure perspective, feminist perspective, perspective modern Arab identity, and Arab nationalism perspective. The mapping of studies become the positioning of further Islamic historical novel studies, and at the same time can be a model of study for the analysis of other historical novels that develop in Arabic literature or other national literature.

This study aims to shed light on the significant contributions and literary impact of Doctor Najeeb Alkeelani, recognized as the founding figure of Arabic Islamic literature in contemporary Arabic literary circles, as well as his noteworthy efforts in addressing women's issues through his fictional works. The initial chapter of this research focuses on his life, while the subsequent chapter explores his portrayal of women and their challenges as depicted in his literature.

This research aimed to reveal the roles of Islamic and Arabic literature's history in studying Islamic literature and sciences; Therefore, the reception theory and critical method were used to answer such issues. The reception theory is a discipline that optimizes the roles of readers and interpreters (mufassirīn) in revealing the meaning of Islamic literature and Al-Quran texts. As for the critical method, it is how the readers and interpreters respond, perceive, and interpret the texts of Islamic literary works and Al-Quran, equipped with al-qawā'id wal-ma'ārif, and storage or repertoire (knowledge within the mind of interpreter); Accordingly, the general audiences can comprehensively and contextually understand the text concretization presented by the interpreters. The results showed that analyzing and interpreting Islamic literary text require knowledge related to Arabic literature's history, especially from the early days of Islam to contemporary times. Meanwhile, analyzing and interpreting al-Quran and Hadith texts also require knowledge of Islamic civilization history and other Islamic sciences such as Arabic knowledge (nahwu, sharaf, and balāghah), asbābun-nuzūl (concerning Al-Quran texts), asbābul-wurūd (concerning Hadith texts), and others.

Every given civilisation has foundations on which it rises. These foundations form the way of thinking for the people to whom that civilisation belongs, and define the scope within which they operate. The foundations differ from one civilisation to another; they may be a revelation, a divine or civil law, or customs and or norms that prevailed in a given society. Islamic civilisation sprung from the original Islamic sources, namely the Qur’an and the prophetic tradition. However, Arabic literature is seen as one of the additional foundations that have played a pivotal role in the rise of this civilisation, as well as in its development and flourishing. The purpose of this paper is to study critically some characteristic view-points of the relationship between Arabic literature and Islamic civilisation and to demonstrate the role Arabic language has played in the rise of this civilisation through its important periods. The outcome of this study will interpret Arabic literature as reflecting virtues and values, as revealing the ethos of different cultures of the Islamic civilisation, the processes of its rise and certain types of social facts. It will also illustrate the significance of teaching Arabic literature in the present day education, for it allows us to reach the heart of the Islamic civilisation through its literary, philosophical and political texts, along with its historical context.

This article aims to examine the role of Arabic as a language across eras through a literature review approach. Arabic has a long history as a literary, scientific and religious language that has had a major impact on various fields of knowledge and daily life. Using the literature review method, this article investigates the development of the Arabic language over time, focusing on its contribution to scientific research, classical literature, and cultural heritage. In scientific literature, Arabic played a significant role in the development of science, mathematics, and medicine during the Islamic Golden Age. Meanwhile, in classical literature, Arabic poetry and prose have become the basis for world literature. This article also highlights the influence of Arabic in religious contexts, especially as the language of the Koran, which has had a profound impact on the spiritual and ethical life of Muslim communities. In addition, this article illustrates how Arabic remains relevant in the modern era, especially in the context of literary language, Islamic education, and international communication. This literature review provides a comprehensive picture of how Arabic continues to maintain its superiority as a language across eras, through changing times while remaining the center of thought, knowledge and identity for the people who own it

Arabic literature has passed through different stages in the historical process, primarily due to religious, political and cultural reasons. The most important of these stages is the revelation of the Qur'an. After this stage, there were differences in the subjects of poetry in Arabic literature. The growth of the Islamic geography brought with it the encounter with different cultures. On the other hand, although a similar change began to occur in prose, the breaking point in prose was after Abdullah Ibnu'l-Mukaffa. The works that Ibnu'l-Mukaffa produced with the influence of his translations from Persian, Greek and Indian cultures contributed to the prose of Arabic literature in terms of subject and style. In later periods, Arabic literature came under the influence of Western culture.

“Market literature” in Arabic and ʿAjamī is a particular variety of West African Islamic book culture, which is especially strong in northern Nigerian states. Arabic-script “Nithography” (by analogy to Nollywood, the modern Nigerian film industry) represents a unique phenomenon, although it is reminiscent of the nineteenth-century Islamic lithography in the Middle East. Nigerian “market literature” in Arabic and ʿAjamī has mostly followed the pre-colonial manuscript tradition of Central Sudanic Africa, including writing styles, colophons and glosses. In contrast to Middle Eastern book culture, Nigerian typeset printing largely preceded the era of offset. The innovative elements of offset book design in Nigeria and further perspectives of “Nithography” in Arabic and ʿAjamī are discussed.

The paper provides an in-depth examination of available digital resources and platforms suitable for language and literature instruction, categorizing them based on their applicability. Practical implementation strategies are proposed, considering the cultural and religious nuances inherent in Islamic education. The paper concludes with recommendations for future research and underscores the importance of continued exploration of emerging technologies to advance Arabic language and literature education in Islamic contexts.

This study aimed to analyze and explicate the influence of the advent of Latin script (Roman script) on the progress of Malay-Arabic script culture, language, and religion in the archipelago. The arrival of Islam had a major influence on the language, religion, and culture of the archipelago through a script, known as the Malay Arabic script. In the archipelagic history, the reconstruction of local culture through an Arabic-Malay script has affected the growth and progress of civilization. The use of the Malay-Arabic script around the 13th century in the writing tradition in schools and Islamic boarding schools as a medium made it easier to read the Qur'an, to study Arabic grammar, and to learn various aspects of other scientific fields. After that, the situation changed due to the emergence of the Romance script in the 15th century, which was brought by Europeans to the Malay world or the Archipelago. Based on the type of qualitative research using a historical approach, it showed that there was a contestation of the Arabic-Malay script with the emergence of the Romance script in Indonesia. This could be seen from the following: 1) The position of the Arabic-Malay script, which had been popular in society and was entrenched in formal and normal institutions, had been increasingly lost due to the appearance of the Roman script. 2) It was difficult to find references related to religious, social, cultural, and political sciences written in the Arabic-Malay script. 3) The transition from using the Arabic-Malay script to the Roman script also had a religious mission, namely the eradication of Islamic symbols marked by many generations who did not understand the Arabic-Malay script as a medium to make it easier to read the Qur'an and understand religion. Based on this data, it is demonstrated that the study of Arabic-Malay script in today's society is decreasing, and the longer the majesty of the Arabic-Malay script as the Lingua Franca in archipelago civilization can be forgotten if it is not preserved and implemented in formal and non-formal education in Indonesia.

Abstract. This study intends to examine the role of Arabic in comprehending Islamic law. This research was conducted to provide an overview of Arabic for observers of Islamic law, focusing on the elements of nahwu, shorof, balaghah, and mantiq. This is because the Quran and Hadith, the primary sources of Islamic law, are written in Arabic. This research was a literature study using the descriptive analysis method to examine the importance of mastering Arabic in the study of Islamic law. Sources of research data were obtained from various references that include books, journals, and other references related to the research theme. The result showed that Arabic is essential for comprehending the Al-Quran and Hadith as the primary sources of Islamic law. The Arabic language used by the Qur'an was much higher than the Arabic language that developed in the community. In Arab society during the Jahiliyah era, the Arabic language had reached its qimmah (glory) and was mature in terms of its grammar, vocabularies, uslub (language style), and balaghah. Al-Qur'an and hadith cannot be separated from Arabic, hence the accuracy with which both are read and comprehended will determine whether or not Islamic law is established.Keywords: Arabic, Al-Qur’an, Islamic Law, Spirit of Islam

In his work, some modern Muslim literature shows a relationship between Arabic literature and Islam. This is shown in some of the literary works of Muslim writers who made Islam a Worldview and thought in his writing. Abu Bakar Siradjuddin, for example, who persistently spread Islam in Europe through his Literary Works and received a good response was even followed by several other poets. In contrast to Siradjuddin, Ahmad Al Alawi, an Algerian poet, also spread Islam through his 1955 manuscripts and literary books. This shows that the existence of Arabic and Islamic literature is still sustainable. Although on the other hand, there are new cultures, but this does not change the pattern of Muslim Literature. This article uses a description analysis method to describe the study of the Integration of Arabic and Islamic literature as an object of art and life revealed from the soul with full faith in Islam. So the resulting Texts also hold on to the view of Islamic life. (Islamic Worldview)

Ali Ahmad Bākathīr was a prolific Arab playwright, novelist and poet of the 20th Century. He wrote almost fifty literary works and more than thirty plays in Arabic which developed Islamic character in Arabic literature. His works sought to establish Islamic values and traditions that occurred in Islamic societies. Although his works contributed immensely to the Arabic and Islamic literature, Bākathīr has received lack of attention from scholars both in Islamic world and in non-Islamic world. This paper explores the Muslim effort in acquiring national independence on the literary works of Bākathīr, particularly on the concept of nationalism. In the process of acquiring national independence, Indonesia’s figures usually utilized the paradigm of nationalism through words of dialog. The words of figure that referred to nationalism will be discussed. In this paper, we argue that Bākathīr literary work’s ’Audat al-Firdaus contains the spirit of nationalism for gaining independence.

Islamic literature is a term referring to the school of thought who believes that a good literary work should view God, man and the world through the lens of Islam. It is conceived that the style of such literature must be of high quality with the Qur’ān, Ḥadith and the legacy of the Islamic scholars being its model. Islamic literature is a universal literature and can be written in any language. However, most of what has been written on the theory and practice of Islamic literature is in Arabic. This study discusses the model of Islamic literature in era of Islam, Umayyad period, Abbasid period, and Modern world. This article discusses the contribution of the Arabic language to the istinbāṭ in Islamic law of Acehnese scholars. The purpose of this journal is to identify the contribution of the Arabic language to the practice of Islamic law. This research is qualitative research using the descriptive analysis method by describing and identifying the influence and contribution of the Arabic language on Islamic legal istinbāṭ among Acehnese scholars. The results of the findings of this study indicate that the primary sources for performing Islamic legal istinbāṭ are the Qur’an, hadīṡ, ijmā‘, and qiyās, all of which are written in the Arabic language. Importantly, the Arabic language greatly contributes to legal istinbāṭ among Acehnese scholars, the more a cleric understands the Arabic language, the easier it is to practice law, and it is important for scholars to master the Arabic language and its literature, such as balaghah, ma‘āni, badi‘, bayān, majāz, nahwu, and sharf because to understand the Arabic language is the inseparable and correlated understanding between sciences which is an integral unit, so that if a scholar performs Islamic law istinbāṭ but does not understand the Arabic language sciences, the legal fatwa he issued will be doubted.

Arab culture influenced Jewish intellectual life in all its aspects. It affected Hebrew literature, Arabic grammar, modern Hebrew poetry and modern Hebrew prose, but the most influential was in the field of Jewish philosophical thought. Islamic Spain was influenced by various philosophical and religious fields, and Islamic thought began to be evident in Jewish philosophical thought. A number of thinkers appeared in Spain, among them: Ibn Asra, Ibn Arabi, and Ibn Rushd, and they were credited with mixing philosophy with religion. The works of Ibn Rushd and Maimonides are the ideal picture of the so-called Arab-Hebrew thought. In the eleventh century, Jewish philosophy entered a new phase influenced by Islamic philosophical literature and Islamic ideas. Maimonides is considered one of the most important Jewish thinkers. He was famous in medicine, philosophy and astronomy and was influenced by Islamic civilization and Islamic thought. Maimonides composed many books in Arabic but wrote them in Hebrew letters. Starting from the semantic difference between the Arabic terms samāḥa or tasāmuḥ, and the Latin tolerantia, this essay proposes some observations on the Islamic notion of tolerance according to some contemporary Arabic language texts of Islamic inspiration. This literature invariably emphasises the importance of tolerance in the context of the Islamic religion and thought; and, notwithstanding some evident differences among the authors, relating to schools and to varying degrees of openness to Western thought, the discourse remains anchored in the foundational literature, especially the Sunnah of the Prophet.

This paper describes the brief history of Humour in Arabs from (1) the earlier preIslamic period, (2) the Islamic period, (3) the medieval Arabic Literature (Abbasid), and (4) Mamaluke, Fatimid, Ayyubid, and Ottoman periods. This paper will try to show that<br />Arabic literature is rife with the unique taste of Arabs in humour and comedy. Finally, the result of data analysis shows that humour in the earlier pre-Islamic period and the Islamic period is used dominantly at satirical poem which is called hija‟. But in the medieval period until Ottoman period, Arabic humour and comedy has been spreading to the modern prose, shuch as romantic novel, elegant style of fable, public theater – shadow play and some of elegiac short stories.

This study focuses on the ability to write words in Malay Arabic script. This research problem is formulated about the ability to write two syllables and lebid from two syllables in Malay Arabic script. The purpose of the study is to describe in detail the ability to write Malay Arabic words and apply proper word-writing principles in Malay Arabic script. This research is a field research with quantitative type. This research was conducted in Language Education and Literature Program Indonesia FKIP Islamic University of Riau. The method used to collect data is by the test technique. The data of this research is the result of word writing skill test and applying correct wording principle in Malay Arabic script obtained from randomly taken sample of research. Analyzing data is done with the mean technique. The result of this research concludes that the ability of writing Arabic Malay words of students of Indonesian Language and Literature Education Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Islamic University of Riau is categorized with percentage of 71.72%. Furthermore, the ability to write Malay Arabic words of the students of Indonesian Language and Literature Education Studies Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Islamic University of Riau based on two syllables categorized with a percentage of 72.09% and based on the word syuku words more than two words low category ie 64.36% .

<p><em>Islamic Boarding School of Darul Amin Bustanul Arifin is one of the Islamic boarding schools located in the Mandailing Natal regency. Based on preliminary research in the field by interviewing the students, the Arabic speaking skill of the students at the Islamic Boarding School of Darul Amin Bustanul Arifin was considered as low. In consequence, the team of community service consisting of Arabic language and literature lecturers was motivated to organize a relevant program on Arabic language enhancement through training in speech or khithabah. This training was hoped to give an improvement on students’ Arabic speaking skills. In addition, this program was expected to trigger the students to be self-confident to deliver a speech in front of the audience, particularly when expressing ideas, sharing new knowledge, and preaching religious messages to society.<strong> </strong>This program applied two methods namely the speech method delivered by the team of community service consisting of Arabic language and literature lecturers and the communicative method through question-answer sessions related to the program’s materials which were strengthened by displaying the speech text and allowing students to practice the speech by turns.<strong> </strong>The program of community service conducted by the team of Arabic Language and literature lecturers at the Islamic boarding school of Darul Amin Bustanul Arifin run very well. The result of the program is expected to give benefit students’ Arabic speaking skills pertinently improving their self-confidence for speech delivery in front of the audience.<strong></strong></em></p><strong><em>Keywords: </em></strong><em>training of speech, Speaking Skills, Islamic boarding school, Darul Amin Bustanul Arifin.</em>

The yellow book (kitab kuning) is the basic curriculum in Islamic boarding school education. He uses Arabic as an instrument of presentation. So, the educational process of pesantren is definitely in contact with Arabic as an episteme in its scientific building. This study aims to describe the Arabic language as a fundamental epistem in Islamic boarding school education and its relation to the scientific construction of Islamic boarding schools based on it. This research is a qualitative research with the type of literature study. This study uses data collection methods in the form of documentation of all libraries related to Islamic boarding schools and the Arabic language. Then, the data analysis used is descriptive analysis and content analysis. In testing the validity of the data, the researcher used triangulation, namely source triangulation, method triangulation, peer discussion and member check. The results of this study are: 1) The episteme of the pesantren scientific tradition is the Bayani epistem which is based on Arabic in aqidah and shari'ah Islamiyah. 2) Arabic that is learned in Islamic boarding school education begins with theoretical Arabic which is oriented to the practice of reading the yellow book as the basic curriculum in Islamic boarding school learning.

The arrival of Islam in Italy in the seventh century led to cultural acculturation and changes in several areas of life, such as literature, culture and language. The aims of this study are to: (1) Describe the process of the arrival of Islam in Italy; (2) Describe the influence of Islamic and Arabic culture in Italy. and (3) explaining the development of Arabic science and literature in Italy. This research is included in the descriptive qualitative research with a literature study approach and the data collection techniques used are reading techniques and note-taking techniques. The results of this study are: (1) The process of the arrival of Islam in Italy began when Caliph Othman bin Affan sent the prime minister Muawiyah bin Abi Sufyan to attack Sicily in 652 AD. (2) There are traces of Islamic culture in the architecture of the city in the form of narrow alleys that follows the ancient Arabic style of the city of Amalfi, and the assimilation of Italian words of Arabic origin is close to 300 words; And (3) in the development of scientific and literary journals, Muslim scientists have certainly produced various major works which later became references for Western scientists. Besides that, Arabic literature also entered and developed in Sicily which became a heaven for scholars such as al-Jabr wa Maalaka, Firdaus al-Hikmah, Al-Hawi. Apart from that, Arabic literature also entered and developed in Sicily, becoming a paradise for scholars, such as the story of Layla Majnun which was outlined in the book The Secretum by Petrarch and ST. Augustine.

This study focuses on bibliometric indicators of Islamic accounting research development, such as trends in Islamic accounting research and its distribution, topics and themes in Islamic accounting research, significant contributors to Islamic accounting research, the pattern of collaboration in Islamic accounting research, and the most significant texts in the Islamic accounting literature. Four hundred eighty-three pieces of scientific literature were entered into the Scopus database for bibliometric analysis on January 10, 2022. Various programs were used to analyze frequency, metrics, and citations, including Microsoft Excel, VOS viewer, and Harzing's Publish or Perish. Over the last ten years, Islamic accounting publications have grown significantly and steadily. Islamic accounting literature is based in Asia, Europe, America, and the Middle East, and it can be found in social science, business, management, accounting, economics, and finance. With a few exceptions in Malaysian, Arabic, German, Indonesian, Slovak, and Turkish, the majority of Islamic accounting literature is written in English. The study also discovered that terms like Islamic bank, banking, Islamic performance, Islamic accounting standards, and Islamic finance are commonly used. The seven countries that contributed the most to the development of scholarly collaborations in Islamic accounting were Malaysia, Indonesia, the United States, Saudi Arabia, the United Kingdom, Pakistan, and Australia. This is critical in assisting academics in making recommendations for future study in the field of Islamic accounting.

Islamic education itself is not spared from texts that speak Arabic either a little or a lot. Because Islam itself is the source of its teachings using Arabic. Therefore in this writing it is focused on the urgency of learning Arabic in Islamic education. The method used in this writing is qualitative with literature review. Where the discussion of this writing does not depend on the data but on the references used. Then the results of this writing show that one can understand several entitasals such as fiqh, the Koran and Alhadith, moral beliefs, and the history of Islamic civilization which are always used in the Al-Qur'an and hadith as a source of knowledge in each of these fields of knowledge. Arabic is a language that has the height of literary knowledge.

This study aims to identify and portray the main historical and civilizational features of the linguistic situation in Al-Maghreb and Al-Andalus, based on the Muqaddema of Ibn Khaldun (d. 808 A.H\1406 A.D), who was a witness to many of the scientific aspects of civilization in both countries, especially the Arabic language sciences, literature and arts, a large bulk of which, was transferred from the Islamic East and reached Al-Andalus and Al- Maghreb. Ibn Khaldun had divided sciences into two groups: sciences based on textual evidence and sciences based on cognitive reasoning. He considered the Arabic Language sciences within the textual sciences, linking their emergence and wide spread to two reasons: “Umran” (urbanism, culture and civilization), and continuity in the transmission of knowledge from one generation to another in major cities, especially before the destruction of Kairouan by Hilali tribes during the fifth century A.H./eleventh century AD, and before the fall of Cordoba by Spaniards during the seventh A.H century/thirteenth A.D century. Despite the fact that Ibn Khaldoun was pessimistic about the condition of learning and knowledge in his era, particularly the deteriorating condition of the Arabic language caused by the mixing of Arabs with non-Arabs, he mentioned in Muqaddimah many scholars who maintained and protected the Arabic language and spread it in Al-Maghreb and Al-Andalus through their published books in various areas of Arabic syntax, linguistics, semantics, and poetry. These books constituted and shaped the cultural, educational and Islamic identity. Much research has been done in the area of Arabic linguistics, mainly in Al-Maghreb and Al-Andalus, yet most of it did not analyze the contents of the Muqaddema which relate to Arabic language in these two areas. This study investigates the linguistic references in the Muqaddema about the Arabic language and shed some light on the features of the historical relationships between these two regions of the Western Islamic world, as well as the mutual interaction that accompanied the linguistic development there.

Nahwu is the key and foundation of the Arabic language and its literature, so nahwu is an important thing to learn in Arabic. Not only in Arabic, nahwu also played a major role in the field of Islamic religious knowledge because the Al-Quran and Al-hadith, which are the main arguments in Islamic law, use Arabic. To understand both of them and not get lost in Islamic law, language knowledge, nahwu science is needed. Nahwu Kufah is underestimated by linguists because of the many weak narrations, and some of the narrations are not suggestive or contrived. This study aims to get to know the Nahwu Kufah school of thought and reveal whether or not this view is true. To seek this discussion, the author uses the literature review method, in which the writer looks for discussion and understanding related to the study and then puts the author's understanding in this discussion. The results of the literature review concluded that the difference in the problem of nahwu between Basrah and Kufah did not really affect the objectives of Nahwu science, where the purpose of nahwu was wasilah in Arabic, because the debate was only on branch issues. None of the nahwu scholars says fa'il is maf'ul or vice versa. Therefore this difference is not a big problem; everyone may argue on the matter of this branch.

This research aims to find out the forms of language errors in the writing Arabic of second semester students of the Arabic Language and Literature Study Program at State Islamic College of Majene, to find out the causes of language errors in the writting Arabic of second semester students of the Arabic Language and Literature Study Program at State Islamic College of Majene, to know the lecture’s effort to avoid of language errors in the writting Arabic of second semester students of the Arabic Language and Literature Study Program at State Islamic College of Majene. This research method is qualitative research. Researcher used observation, interviews, and documentation as data collection methods. The research population was maharah kitabah lectures and second semester students of the Arabic Language and Literature Study Program at State Islamic College of Majene. Data analysis steps by include data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The research results showed that language errors in the writing of Level II students of the Arabic Language and Literature Study Program at the Majene State Islamic College consisted of nahwu, sharaf, semantic and lexical errors. Factors that cause these errors are students having difficulty in applying the rules of nahwu and sharf, lack of vocabulary, difficulty in writing, especially in describing something, and students being afraid and anxious about describing writing. Efforts made by lecturers include: Encouraging students to write Arabic, participating with students when analyzing mistakes, providing continuous training related to the use of Arabic language rules, and implementing various strategies in learning of Mahara al-Kitabah.المستخلص: يهدف هذا البحث إلى معرفة أشكال الأخطاء اللغوية في كتابة الطلاب المستوى الثاني شعبة اللغة العربية وآدبها بالجامعة الإسلامية الحكومية ماجيني، ومعرفة أسباب الأخطاء اللغوية في كتابة الطلاب المستوى الثاني شعبة اللغة العربية وآدبها بالجامعة الإسلامية الحكومية ماجيني، ومعرفة محاولات المحاضر لتجنب الأخطاء اللغوية في كتابة الطلاب المستوى الثاني شعبة اللغة العربية وآدبها بالجامعة الإسلامية الحكومية ماجيني. ومنهج هذا البحث هو البحث الكيفي. واستخدمت الباحثة الملاحظة، والمقابلة، والتوثيق كطرق لجمع البيانات. أما مجتمع البحث هو محاضر مهارة الكتابة وطلاب المستوى الثاني شعبة اللغة العربية وآدبها بالجامعة الإسلامية الحكومية ماجيني. وخطوات تحليل البيانات من خلال جمع البيانات، وتخفيض البيانات، وعرض البيانات، واستخلاص النتائج. دلت نتائج من هذا البحث أن الأخطاء اللغوية في كتابة الطلاب المستوى الثاني شعبة اللغة العربية وآدبها بالجامعة الإسلامية الحكومية ماجيني تتكون من المستوى النحوي والصرفي والإملائي والمعجمي. ومن العوامل التي تسبب هذه الأخطاء هي الصعوبة في تطبيق القواعد النحوية والصرفية، وقلة المفردات، والصعوبة في الكتابة خاصة في وصف الأشياء والتعبير، وخوف وقلق الطلاب من التعبير. ومن المحاولات التي قدمها المحاضر هي: تشجيع الطلاب في الكتابة، ومشاركة الطلاب عند تحليل الأخطاء، إعطاء التدريبات المستمرة على مهارة الكتابة المقرونة بالقواعد النحوية وقواعد الإملاء، وتنويع استراتيجيات في تعليم مهارة الكتابة.

Learning Arabic is learning a foreign language which is known to be very difficult for beginner students to learn, even though in reality learning Arabic is easy. Any language learning requires a strategy in the learning process, and Arabic language learning strategies are an important approach in facilitating the process of mastering Arabic by students. This research aims to investigate various strategies that can be used in the context of learning Arabic, as well as their impact on achieving learning objectives. The research method used was descriptive qualitative involving a literature review to identify various learning strategies that have been proposed and implemented in Arabic language learning. The research results show that the strategy used is direct. Therefore, Arabic teachers need to understand the learning profile of each student and develop strategies accordingly. By understanding and applying these various Arabic language learning strategies, it is hoped that students can achieve a high level of fluency in communicating using Arabic, strengthen cultural understanding, understand the Al-Quran, hadith, or Arabic books, and improve their abilities in various communicative contexts.

This study was motivated by the problem of mastering Arabic in the Faculty of Islamic studies (FAI), Islamic university of Riau (UIR). This problem focused on the students’ quality and learning interest of FAI UIR on language mastery, both Arabic and English. This foreign language or second language mastery program such as Arabic or English is made in the form of language classes. Language classes are initially unattended by a special institution such as a language center now under the supervision of the FAI UIR language center, the forerunner of the UIR language center called CELAD (Center for Languages ​​and Academic Development). Formulation The problem of this research is how the implementation of Arabic learning and the influence of the Arabic language class on the mastery of student learning in the Faculty of Islamic Studies UIR. The purpose of this study was to find out the implementation of Arabic learning and the influence of the Arabic language class on the mastery of student learning in the Faculty of Islamic studies. The type of this research is descriptive as well as qualitiative and quantitative research. The literature review used is language learning, the influence of the Arabic language class, and vocabulary mastery (al-mufradat). Then based on the results of the study using quantitative descriptive analysis, it found that the implementation of Arabic learning and the influence of the Arabic class on students’ vocabulary mastery of FAI UIR can be said to be "good".

Calligraphy is one of the Islamic arts that has received great attention from Muslims. Calligraphy as an Islamic art is the most important aspect of Islamic science, the Arabic Qur'an is an obligation to study Arabic grammar. One of the skills in Arabic grammar, namely Maharah Kitabah, calligraphy is to improve Arabic grammar according to the rules, both in terms of length, short in the number of latters to be stylish and beautiful. Modern Kudus Islamic Arts and Calligraphy Islamic Boarding School (PSKQ) provides a platform for studying the art of calligraphy in a systematic, effective and efficient manner. The intent and purpose of this research is to find out the learning system that exists in the modern PSKQ holy boarding school. From the results of the literature review, it was found that the art of calligraphy plays an important role in writing skills that can be expressed through writing and improve the grammar of the appropriate rules as beauty in writing. Methods of teaching the rules include tracing, imitating and modifying them using the Syauqi and Izzat styles. Keywords: Calligraphy, Modern PSKQ

Arabic is a foreign language for Indonesian people. Among the languages of Arabic that are widely taught in Islamic boarding schools in Indonesia are the grammar of Arabic or nahwu and sharaf. Among the elements of teaching are books, books have an important role in the learning process. This study aims to find out the Arabic grammar books used in Islamic boarding schools in Indonesia, analyze their constructs, their models and their relevance to Arabic grammar learning for non-Arabs. This research is a literature research. Data collection uses documentation techniques, while the analysis technique uses content analysis. From the results of the study, it is found that the Arabic grammar books used in Islamic boarding schools are books compiled with the qawa'id ilmiyah approach instead of qawa'id ta'limiyah, so it needs the development of methods in learning so that the students (santri) not only memorize the rules, but are also able to apply them in language skills. While in terms of the drafting model, there are at least three models, namely, matan, syarah, and khasiyah.

Literature written in the local language adapted to the Arabic alphabet and developed under strong influences of Islamic tradition and culture is referred to as aljamiado literature. It is not limited to a specific language or a particular adaptation of the Arabic alphabet for non-Arabic languages. In this article, aljamiado literature encompasses writings primarily of religious nature, created on the Iberian Peninsula, in the Balkans, and in the former Grand Duchy of Lithuania, which includes present-day Lithuania, Belarus, parts of Poland, and Ukraine. The presented research has a pioneering character, focusing on the specificity of aljamiado creativity in selected European countries historically influenced by the Ottoman Empire. It emphasises the similarities resulting from the connection with Islam, as well as the differences stemming from historical and geographical factors.

Since the concept of Islamic Literature was introduced at the Kalenho Meeting in India in 1981 and the Islamic Literature Dialogue Conference at the Islamic University of Medina in 1982, it has sparked opposition and questioning, even among university staff and some colleagues. Faculty members at the aforementioned university were taken aback by the term and saw it as an alternative to Arabic Literature or as an aggression against it. Islamic Literature; It is neither Linguistic Literature, National Literature, Folk Literature, nor is it purely Islamic like the Qur'an, revelation, hijra or others, nor is it an ideological literature considering that ideology is a complete positive system, nor is it the literature of a certain time, a certain sect. All of these qualities fall under the term Islamic Literature.

Universities often face challenges in ensuring the quality of education, especially in the learning segment during the lecture process. Therefore, this study examines the phenomenon of quality and quantity, which is the basis for the quality of Arabic learning planning at Al-Falah As-Sunniyyah Jember University. The main objective of this study is to identify and explore effective strategies for ensuring the quality and quantity of education through an integrative monitoring system for Arabic language learning planning. Using a qualitative approach and literature studies as methods, the writer collected data by searching related literature. The data were analyzed using qualitative methods involving reading, synthesizing, and interpreting information found in the literature. Research findings confirm that the implementation of an integrative monitoring system appropriately has great potential to be used as the best model in planning Arabic language learning to improve the quality of learning significantly.

A superficial consideration of the history of Arabic literature impresses one by the remarkable longevity of literary forms: a qaṣīda written by the pre-Islamic poet Imru'l-Qays and many of those written by Aḥmad Shawqī who died in 1932 are eminently recognizable members of the same species. The system of prosody as codified by Khalīl b. Ahmad (d. A.D. 791) was still very much in force, and the thematic divisions into nasīb, wasf, and madīḥ or hijā' still had much in common. Similarly the maqāma form with its or ornate rhyming prose and limited range of stock characters was still being produced in Arabic at the turn of this century, and the links with the works of al-Hamadhānī (d. A.D. 1008) and al-Harīrī (d. A.D. 1122) are plain to behold and to hear. As with much world literature which is the product of ‘conservative’ or ‘traditional’ societies (for want of better terms), style is all. In thematic terms there is an implicit contract of understanding between the writer and the small, rarefied, élitist public. They know what to expect and the writer or performer delivers. The language, both in its form and its content, is a vehicle through which the relationships between writer or performer, and public or audience, are expressed.

Ghazal is the Arabic word for “amatory verse”, and in other languages of the Islamic world it designates a sonnet-like poetic form. The notion that the word stems from Arabic ghazl “spinning thread” is widely held, despite the absence of support for this in classical lexicography and poetry criticism. Comparison to Semitic cognates points to an alternative derivation of ghazal from a verb of speaking – specifically, speech that is ambiguous and suggestive – by way of attraction to the gazelle (Arabic ghazāl), an ancient Near Eastern idiom for the beloved. While ghazal poetry emerged in Western Arabia during the first century of Islam, the genesis of ghazal as a term of art predates the literary record, as may be appreciated in a poem by ʿAmr ibn Qamīʾa (6th century CE) that has been called the earliest complete qaṣīda in Arabic manuscript tradition.

Andalusian literature is still a great legacy of Islamic civilization in modern times. The discussion of Andalusian literature is still an exciting topic in the Arab literary scene in the modern era. There are many great legacies of Arabic literature that have not been widely studied by academics in Indonesia, especially Arabic literature reviewers. One of the Andalusian literary figures is Ibn Zaidun. Even the fame of Ibn Zaidun in Andaluasi to get the nickname Buhtury from the West. This paper tries to review Andalusian Arabic literature in general and, in particular, the literary tradition of Ibn Zaidun with the background of Andalusian civilization. Using a literature review approach, this paper explains the socio-cultural background of Ibn Zaidun in building a tradition of Arabic literature in the West (Andalusia). This paper shows the significant role of Ibn Zaidun in building an Arabic literary tradition with a local Andalusian style. This literary tradition is even recognized as having a literary quality that is not inferior to Arabic literature in Arab civilization.
