Marine invertebrates are a group of animals characterized by the absence of a backbone, living in the oceanic zone around the world, being remarkably common associated with rhodolith/maërl beds (non-geniculated red corallinaceous algae). A total of 59 species were identified, belonging to six phyla (Platyhelminthes, Annelida, Sipuncula, Mollusca, Arthropoda, and Echinodermata), of which 52 are considered here as new records. This study reports Pachybrachis sp. association with a new host, Spermacoce verticillata L. (Rubiaceae). It synthesizes Brazil locality records and host plant records from literature. Specimens of adults and larvae were collected on the host in an urban area of Maceió, Alagoas, Brazil. The effectiveness of neonatal hyperbilirubinaemia treatment depends directly on the amount of energy emitted by light (irradiance). This cross-sectional study aimed to determine the irradiance of phototherapy equipment in maternity wards in Maceió, AL, Brazil. Resumen
Objective: The main aim of this study was to verify chronic and acute alterations in the systolic blood pressure (SBP) and diastolic blood pressure (DBP) in breast cancer survivors undergoing a physical exercise program. Methodology: In a reference hospital for cancer treatment in the city of Maceió, Alagoas, Brazil, a total of 24 female breast cancer survivors, 56.8 (±7.7) years old, underwent a physical exercise program.
