<em>The research of tourist and recreational space of the Russian coast of Azov Sea from 2013 to the present allowed us to put the main hypothesis about the formation of the new tourist destination &quot;Russian coast of Azov Sea&quot;. The possibility of changing the its status from transit territory to the main destination is the main problematic issue. Ideas about the design of the supporting tourist and recreational frame of the region are necessary for its rational tourist development. In connection with the radical change in the situation with the Sea of Azov (which has become an internal sea of Russia), there is a need to summarize the available data on the fishing areas of the Sea of Azov in order to develop approaches to optimize fishing and measures to restore fish resources. Until 2022, the Sea of Azov was divided into zones of responsibility of Russia and Ukraine (in a ratio of about 2 : 3), and the permanent Ukrainian-Russian Fisheries Commission annually discussed the results of the research work on the assessment of fish stocks and approved the rules of fishing, as

Abstract This study focuses on the pottery-bearing (“Neolithic”) sites of the northern Azov Sea region. The vessels ornamented with comb imprints appeared there in the sixth millennium BC. In the light of a recent re-dating of the Rakushechny Yar site sequence, the sites of the northern Azov region appeared to be the earliest evidence for this innovation. The innovation in the ceramic assemblage is accompanied by an innovative lithic tool set. The latter included macro-blades and fan-shaped end-scrapers, which were previously unknown in the studied region. Their reanalysis (including new field

The affordable cost of recreation on the Azov coast, as well as the presence of the sea, combined with a favorable climate, make these territories attractive for Russian tourism. However, more than half (62%) of all accommodation facilities in the regions of the Azov region are individual accommodation facilities: small private guest houses, which provokes a number of problems. The state of the resort and tourism industry in the Azov resort and recreational zone is a very topical issue, but most studies present an assessment of the current state of the resort and tourism industry from the poin
