Resumen
Johann Sebastian Bach stands in a long line of Lutheran composers who used musical forms to convey theological concepts that reaches back to Luther himself. Lutheran theologians and musicians used the Latin formula viva vox evangelii to define their understanding of music as the living voice of the gospel. Here is presented first an overview of this Lutheran tradition, and then an examination of specific examples from Bach's musical works that expound specific theological concepts such as the doctrine of the Trinity, the distinction between law and gospel, the nature of discipleship, and christological hermeneutics in general.

Considering the appearance of the musical cryptogram “B-A-C-H” (B-flat– A–C–B -natural) in well-known works up to the time of his First String Quartet (1908/1909), Béla Bartók knew Liszt’s Fantasy and Fugue on the Theme B-A-C-H, presumably also Schumann’s Sechs Fugen über den Namen Bach, and Reger’s Fantasia and Fugue on B-A-C-H for organ. Such compositions quoted the celebrated motive, typically as a starting point, with the relevant (aforementioned) pitches because the musical cryptogram in this way allowed immediate recognition of the reference to the name of the Leipzig composer. However, Bartók’s planned “B-A-C-H” quotation in the development section of the sonata-form second movement of his First Quartet was not a typical homage to Johann Sebastian Bach but rather a vision: a distorted reference to the symbolic “B-A-C-H” motive. Undoubtedly Bartók liked this episode. There is reason to believe that his friend Zoltán Kodály advised him to leave out the inorganic and distorted “B-A-C-H” allusion.

Resumen
Let us imagine a situation: a listener seated in a concert hall witnesses a performance by a trumpet player (standing on the stage) of a sequence of four quarter-notes, with the pitches of B[flat ]3–A3–C4–B3. The listener chooses to ignore the immediate physical surroundings and hears one of the following: (i) four trumpet sounds equally spaced in time, (ii) a sequence of intervals – minor second, minor third, minor second, (iii) an instance of set 4-1, (iv) a motive referring to the name of BACH. The `web of interpretants' (term from Nattiez 1987/1990) surrounding a simple musical fact is already quite dense, even though we have only considered its aspects relating to pitch, pitch class and pitch notation (representation by letters). What if the performer's gestures, the facial expressions, the direction of the bell of the instrument became important? Might one say, then, that the music has become theatre?

The purpose of this work is to establish the validity of the Indonesian Palatable Eating Motives Scale (I-PEMS) and to describe the characteristics in palatable eating motives among current Indonesian young adults. The Original Palatable Eating Motives Scale (PEMS) was translated into Indonesian and back-translated into English to confirm the conceptual and linguistic equivalence. The scale was administered to emerging adults aged 18-25 years old. Confirmatory factor analysis demonstrated that the I-PEMS has an acceptable factor structure. The result provided evidence of four factors of palatable eating motives. No significant difference from the I-PEMS score between males and females. The association was only observed between the scores of Conformity motive and Body Mass Index.

Resumen
When considering the research of the musical rhetoric in the Russian musicology the leading significance of the intonation-semantic aspect should be highlighted, as well as active elaboration of the musical language and its communicative possibilities, but at the same time we should pay attention to fixation of the unidirectional concept of really board and heterogeneous range of Baroque musical and rhetoric figures. The early 1980s – 1990s and 2000s was the period of intensive studies of the musical language elements as meaning-forming building blocks of a work of arts as a total. In the 21st century the vector of the musical and rhetoric analysis has shifted only slightly. During the past 10 years a ‘musical-rhetorical figure’ has been defined through such notions as ‘symbol’, ‘a sound phrase (motive)’, ‘formula’, ‘sign, emblem’, ‘stable, semantically intense element’, ‘image-meaning unit, compositional sound idiom’, ‘leitmotif of affect’, ‘intonation pattern’, ‘intonation-symbol’. Apart from concentrating on the symbolic aspect of musical figures, the research of the 21st cen-tury sometimes substitutes the Baroque conceptual construct of theoretical treatise of the 17th – the first half of the 18th centuries for the ‘contemporary’ ones, which started in the 20th century within the context of J.S. Bach studies (research of A. Schweizer, B.L. Javorsky, M.S. Druskin, J.S. Druskin and other). For some contemporary scholars it was not the theoretical texts of the Baroque period that served as sources of information on musical and rhetoric figures. Instead, A. Schweizer’s works were such a source. However, A. Schweizer knew nothing of the lists of musical and rhetoric figures in the treatise of J.S. Bach’s contemporaries and predecessors. In many cases searches for the newly invented ‘symbolism of the rhetoric figures’, ‘intonation formulas’ and ‘motive-symbols’ become the favorite hermeneutic method involving a scarce number of figures by the Baroque theorists (anabasis, cataba-sis, circulatio and other) filtered by the musical analytics according to the criteria of the intonation semantics and potential symbolism. We also observe insufficient awareness of the musical and theoretical aspect, use of the outdated notions (on the set of all concepts as on a system of musical figures Baroque) and information (on the number of the musical figures given by the theorists). The author draws the conclusion that the ‘broad fame’ of the musical and rhetoric figures is so well-known that it sometimes has little to do with the authentic phenomenon of the musica poetica Baroque. At the current stage of development of the Rus-sian musicology the author sees it necessary to consolidate the approaches to understanding of the musical heritage of this epoch from the point of view of the historical analytics.

Resumen
Under consideration are various facets of the creative work of Rostislav Genika, a comprehensively educated musician, universally gifted personality, one of the founders of the Kharkov piano school. The research is based on the study of critical reviews of R. Genika’s and his students’ concerts. Under analysis is the main genre of R. Genika as a composer and pianist – a transcription represented by the piece “Concert Paraphrase” to the motive of “Kupava’s Complaints” from P. Tchaikovsky’s music to the play “The Snow Maiden” by A. Ostrovsky. Rostislav Genika (1859 – 1942?) focused on piano art, which can be considered the key basis of all his theoretical, historical and musical-critical generalizations and conclusions, as well as practical activities as a performer, teacher and composer. The education received by R. Genika in the class of N. Rubinstein at the Moscow Conservatory prompted the Kharkov musician to pay tribute to piano performance in the early stages of his career. The information about the pianist R. Genika, which came to us from publications in the press and the memoirs of his colleagues, gives an opportunity to reconstruct, although not in full, the style of his piano playing as a soloist, ensemble performer and accompanist. All this together constituted the subject of a comprehensive review and the relevance of this article. The research material includes reviews of R. Genika’s concerts and an example of his composer’s heritage in the field of piano music – a transcription “Concert Paraphrase” to the motive “Kupava’s Complaints” from P. Tchaikovsky’s music to the play “The Snow Maiden” by A. Ostrovsky. The purpose of the paper is to reveal the universalism of the composer’s talent, the scale of his work, which was mainly focused on piano performance, through the analysis of various aspects of Rostislav Genika’s creative work. It would be wrong to call R. Genika a concert pianist in the traditional sense of the word. He had few solo concerts in his practice and they refer to the very beginning of his work career in Kharkov. As a concertist, he mostly performed works mastered in the class of N. Rubinstein, as well as piano parts in various ensembles, learnt by him when playing with “K. Gorsky Quartet” and other ensemble performers. The piano repertoire of R. Genika included pieces by I. S. Bach, G. Handel, D. Scarlatti, L. van Beethoven, K. M. Weber, F. Liszt, F. Chopin, R. Schumann, M. Mussorgsky, P. Tchaikovsky and others. Raised on the best examples of piano music, R. Genika appreciated such an interpretation that would meet not only the criteria of "accuracy", but would also be spiritually filled, sublimely emotional, and not outwardly ostentatious. Since the first days of working in Kharkov R. Genika, was able to combine lecturing, performing and correspondent activities with piano pedagogy. The sphere of pedagogy was one of the prevailing and time-consuming in his life. There is quite little information about R. Genika as a teacher and it can be found mainly in the reviews of his students’ concerts, in the notes of the local press as well as in the reports on academic concerts and exams at Kharkov Music College and Conservatory. The personal pianistic experience of R. Genika and the pedagogical style of his teacher N. Rubinshtein affected the choice of virtuoso programs and concert programs for his students. R. Genika’s composing experiments are closely related to his concert-pianistic and pedagogical work, as well as to the study of piano music history. The circle of his genre interests in this area was quite symptomatic. As an ardent supporter of concert pianism traditions R. Genika considered the genre of transcriptions and arangementds in the Liszt-Talberg spirit to be a new wave in piano literature of that time, a promising direction. This is how his transcriptions to the motives from “Parsifal” by R. Wagner, a piano arrangement of the “Arabic Dance” from the “Nutcracker” by P. Tchaikovsky, a fantasy “Abyss” to the motive of E. Grieg appeared. R. Genika also wrote short pieces intended for his concerts, as well as for educational practice. Unfortunately, the score of these works are still either not found or not preserved. An exception is the “Concert Paraphrase” to the motive of “Kupava’s Complaints” from P. Tchaikovsky’s music to the play “Snow Maiden” by A. Ostrovsky (author’s handwritten text dedicated to the pianist V. Timanova). Being a pianist was very important for R. Genika. Understanding pianism as a musical aesthetic phenomenon resulted in a multifaceted and deep understanding of the essence of musical art, which was characteristic of R. Genika as a music educator. The musician thought of himself precisely as a “generalist” who could handle any music profession – a performer’s, teacher’s, or researcher’s one. Hence, further study of the creative and critical heritage of R. Genika will invariably affect the spheres of other areas of musical art (opera, chamber, etc.). Such universal personalities as R. Genika have always been an engine for the musical-historical process, idea generator of the era. Nowadays such universal musicians, who would be a kind of "litmus test" of their time and faithfully served the art, are still in need. One of such outstanding figures in Ukraine, a universal personality was Valerii Oleksandrovych Bohdanov (07/13/1939 㶹– 10/10/2017) – performer, teacher, scientific researcher, composer. His multifaceted activities encompassed a wide range of musical art and were reflected in many years of pedagogical work, a large number of research works, transcriptions, and composer’s experiments. We would like to hope that this anniversary collection dedicated to V. Bogdanov will serve as a prelude to a deep and comprehensive study of the life and work of this bright and extraordinary musician.

Resumen
In the recent decades the migration processes and circular migration are increasing worldwide and have become more and more complex. There has been a new type of international migration - back and forth international migration. Nowadays, job seeking in the international space, brain circulation, multiple citizenship and identity, property ownership and consumption at the place of origin and at destination residence result in completely new lifestyles in Central and Eastern Europe, too. After the disintegration of the socialist regime both in Serbia and Hungary, new types of emigrants from Serbia appeared in Hungary, namely students, highly qualified workers, entrepreneurs, elders and circulars. The most recent types of migrants along the Serbian-Hungarian border area are: economic emigrants (emigrant physical workers); creative class (entrepreneurs, businessmen, international traders); circulars and seasonal emigrants, as well as students. The hypothesis of this work is that the main motive of emigration from Serbia to Hungary is the economic motive, especially job-seeking. The analysis of emigration from Serbia to Hungary is based on the interviews and questionnaire-based research obtained among emigrants from Vojvodina to Hungary, who were living in Hungary or commuting there regularly between 2010 and 2013. The obtained data prove the hypothesis. The economic motives are present even when the emigrants do not stay in Hungary, but move off to more developed countries of the EU.

Resumen
This paper discusses Amir’s anxiety and motive in Khaled Hosseini’s “The Kite Runner". The library research method was applied in this research. In analyzing the data, the structural approach was used to scrutinize the intrinsic elements such as character, conflict, setting, and plot, while the psychological approach was used to examine extrinsic elements such as anxiety and motive of Amir as the main character in “The Kite Runner”. The results show that Amir, as the main character, is a caring, inferior, coward, optimistic, anxious, selfish, careless, sly, and patient person. It also indicates that Amir is a round static character since he has complex traits but his character as a caring person remains the same from the beginning to the end of the story. Besides, as the main character, Amir experienced both internal and external conflicts. The settings of time, social, and place showed the period in Afghanistan between 1975 and 2001 and the social stratum, Pashtun and Hazara in Kabul. Dealing with the plot, it starts from Amir’s effort to get Baba’s recognition and respect, Amir’s anxiety after betraying Hassan, Amir efforts to take Sohrab out from Kabul, the liberation of Sohrab from Assef, the Sohrab suicide trial, up to Amir’s effort to get back Sohrab trust. Also, Amir’s anxiety deals with realistic, neurotic, and moral anxiety, while the motives are safety and security need, belongingness and love need, and self-esteem needs.

We give a survey of epistemological and ontological approaches that have left traces in the 20th-century biology. A common motive of most of them is the effort to incorporate biology into the realm of physical sciences. However, such attempts failed, and must fail in the future, unless the criterion for what science is becomes biologically oriented. This means broadening the realm of classical natural sciences, incorporating at least part of the thesaurus of the “humanities”. We suggest three mutually complementary candidates for further development in this direction: modular biology, the hermeneutics of the living, and the semiotic disciplines.

In this paper, a field winding vernier (FWV) machine is proposed to get higher back electromotive force (EMF) than surface permanent magnet vernier (SPMV) machine. First, the magneto motive force (MMF) equation of FWV machine is derived to obtain the requisite field current to produce the same back EMF as SPMV machine. Using the derived equation, the surface current density is also estimated and compared with the maximum allowable current density to examine the possibility of improving the back EMF of the FWV machine and find the slot-pole combination that is advantageous for the FWV structure. Using the obtained information, three models of SPMV and FWV machines are designed, finite element analysis are performed, and it is verified that proposed FWV machine has the capability of producing higher back EMF than SPMV machine.

Abstract: This study compares and contrasts the language attitudes of teachers of African American Vernacular English (AAVE) and West Indian Creole English (CE) speakers over the last fifty years, to determine if there have been any significant changes, to draw out the implications of these findings and offer reasons for the results. Teachers’ attitudes towards these languages were generally negative over the decades, but I noticed that as the number of teachers of colour increased in the USA, there was a slight shift in attitude towards AAVE in a positive direction. I conclude that though language attitudes are very difficult to change, teacher education which specifically targets and challenges teacher language attitudes will be a major step in helping to shift these attitudes further for the benefit of teacher and student. Resumen
Today, self-excited synchronous machines are the object of increasing interest because they use neither brushes nor permanent magnets. In fact, the price of rare earth metals is considerably high and still raising. This is the main reason why researchers are looking for suitable alternatives to permanent magnets in the construction of rotating electrical machinery. This paper deals with the design and laboratory testing of a synchronous machine with an efficient layout and an economic construction. The proposed self-excited machine exploits the space harmonics of the magneto-motive force to produce the excitation field. The model analysis is based on the computation of the back EMFs that are associated to the magneto motive force components. The mathematical model suggests an easy way to decouple the rotor windings. The machine has been built and experimental tests have been performed in order to validate the electrical behavior.

Although wildlife rehabilitation relies heavily on volunteers, the characteristics and motivations of such volunteer workers have not been studied. 80 volunteers from three San Francisco Bay Area Rehabilitation Centers, were interviewed about their preferences in working with animals and people, their methods of dealing with grief and failure over animals' deaths, and the onset of their interest in and motives for working in a difficult field. A significant number had owned pets in childhood as well as currently. 40% preferred working only with animals to working with both animals and people. 34% stayed in rehabilitation because they loved and wanted to help animals; 23% enjoyed hands-on nurturing; and the remainder primarily felt they were giving back to Nature a part of what people have taken from it.

Despite an early shared history with school counseling, counseling psychology has, over time, distanced itself from the schools. Current circumstances with regard to public education and questions about the relevance of counseling psychology’s graduate training programs within schools and colleges of education have resurrected consideration of a partnership between school counseling and counseling psychology. In this response, the authors question the motives and sincerity of counseling psychology’s embracing school counseling as a partner, as well as the feasibility of the proposed partnership.

Resumen
AbstractThis paper focuses on Heidegger's 1937 lecture course on the Nietzschean doctrine of the Eternal Recurrence of the Same. Heidegger interprets the motive of recurrence in Nietzsche as the Moment (Augenblick) of the Eternal Recurrence. Through this key motive of the moment, we try then to examine the double function of the doctrine which, on the one hand, refers us back to some essential themes of the existential analytics, whereas, on the other hand, it paves the way for the new confrontation with metaphysics in the Beiträge zur Philosophie. We hold that the turning away from the existential conception of the moment toward its “aletheiological” understanding in terms of a “site of the Moment” (die Augenblicksstätte) takes place in the context of this very lecture course. This transition is even more critical as it constitutes the very heart of Heidegger's critique of subjectivity in the new perspective opened by the history of Being: Nietzsche's doctrine of time provides the basis for this questioning.

"An analytical model of harmonic content no-load magnetic fields and Back EMF in axial flux PM machines regarding the iron saturation and winding distribution". Resumen
Purpose This paper aims to propose an analytical model for the harmonic content no-load magnetic fields and Back electric motive force (EMF) in double-sided TORUS-type non-slotted axial flux permanent magnet (TORUS-NS AFPM) machines with surface-mounted magnets considering the winding distribution and iron saturation effects. Design/methodology/approach First, a procedure to calculate the winding distribution with a rectangular cross-section is proposed. The magnetic field distribution and magnetic motive force (MMF) drop due to saturation in iron cores are then exactly extracted in a 2-D analytical model. The consequent influence on air-gap magnetic field and Back EMF are also calculated using a new iterative algorithm. The results are compared with those of the conventional analytical model without saturation, 2-D finite element analysis (FEA) and an experiment on a fabricated prototype machine. Findings Unlike the conventional method, the new method yields the no-load magnetic field distributions in air-gap and iron cores and Back EMF very exactly such that the results well match to those of the FEA and experiment. Originality/value Unlike the conventional winding factor, the winding distribution is considered here along the both axial and circumferential directions, which improves the accuracy level of results for non-slotted structures with relatively large air-gaps. The magnetic field distribution and MMF drop-in iron parts are also calculated as the basis for exact recalculation of air-gap magnetic field and Back EMF. Because of small computational burden beside superior accuracy, the proposed model can be treated as an accurate and fast substitute for FEA to be used during the design procedure or for predicting the other performance characteristics of TORUS-NS AFPM machines.

Summary The division in capita of Herodotus’ Histories goes back to the edition of Gottfried Jungermann of 1608. What were his model, motive, and method when undertaking this editorial task? The answers to the first two questions can be found in one of his prefaces (Ad candidum lectorem), the relevant section of which is here offered in a transcription and translation. The last question can only be tentatively answered by looking at the actual division itself, since he does not say anything about it, except that he wanted to keep together speeches.

Resumen
Purpose – The purpose of this study is to understand the practice of Dawah among Muslims by discovering its perceived motives and benefits that can be replicated to organizational settings. Furthermore, the motives and benefits of performing Islamic Dawah are tied together to establish a Dawah based framework to foster ethical decision making in organizations. Design/methodology/approach – This qualitative study is based on interviews conducted among 40 male Muslims from Pakistan. The sample consists of Muslim scholars having strong religious knowledge, younger people and old-age Muslims. The data collected through the interviews are transcribed and content-analysed by using multiple coding schemes. Findings – The Islamic Dawah-based framework is based on five elements, which are self-reform, transcendence, complacency, dutifulness and pridefulness. The findings reveal that Muslim scholars put much emphasis on sharing of Islamic faith and livelihood among the members of the community, while the common people, both from the younger and older generations, are more concerned with establishing their own understanding of the Islamic value system and self-improvement. Aside from the spiritual impact that Dawah has on them, the role of family members in stimulating the practice of Dawah is highlighted. Practical implications – The study has managerial relevance in a way that the highlighted themes represented by a framework can be replicated to an organizational setting to impart a culture of ethicality which is purely based on Islamic tradition. The roles of peers, CEO and self-correction are pivotal to establishment of an ethical workplace culture. Originality/value – This study extends marketing knowledge in general and internal marketing knowledge specifically by presenting a first-ever Islamic Dawah-based model to foster workplace ethics.

Resumen
Cilia are cell-surface, microtubule-based organelles that project into extracellular space. Motile cilia are conserved throughout eukaryotes, and their beat induces the flow of fluid, relative to cell surfaces. In mammals, the coordinated beat of motile cilia provides highly specialized functions associated with the movement of luminal contents, as seen with metachronal waves transporting mucus in the respiratory tract. Motile cilia are also present in the male and female reproductive tracts. In the female, wave-like motions of oviductal cilia transport oocytes and embryos toward the uterus. A similar function has been assumed for motile cilia in efferent ductules of the male—i.e., to transport immotile sperm from rete testis into the epididymis. However, we report here that efferent ductal cilia in the male do not display a uniform wave-like beat to transport sperm solely in one direction, but rather exert a centripetal force on luminal fluids through whip-like beating with continual changes in direction, generating turbulence, which maintains immotile spermatozoa in suspension within the lumen. Genetic ablation of two miRNA clusters (miR-34b/c and -449a/b/c) led to failure in multiciliogenesis in murine efferent ductules due to dysregulation of numerous genes, and this mouse model allowed us to demonstrate that loss of efferent duct motile cilia causes sperm aggregation and agglutination, luminal obstruction, and sperm granulomas, which, in turn, induce back-pressure atrophy of the testis and ultimately male infertility.

Resumen
This article addresses the spin-off of Philip Morris International (PMI) from Altria which took place back in 2008. Since that time, PMI has done very well in overseas markets, and most especially in developing markets. By 2010, PMI had gained an estimated 16 percent share of the total international cigarette market outside of the U.S. (excluding China) with revenue of $27 billion and operating income of $11.2 billion. With 2012 results, PMI reported worldwide revenues of $31.4 billion and an operating income of $14.2 billion, according to the companys annual report. This rapid revenue growth and income expansion has not come without ethical considerations. As the spin-off resulted in the move of the company headquarters from New York City to Lausanne, Switzerland, PMI became less restrained by the regulatory environment in their new home. PMI was able to capitalize on lower tobacco standards and limited advertising restrictions in global markets (and most especially developing markets) without the constraints of the negative regulatory environment and negative public attention back in the USA. This article weighs the ethical concerns of moving business to areas of less regulation versus the business advantages of such moves. There are many reasons why American corporations have begun to spin-off their international operations, but the question remains, whether the business is conducted domestically or internationally: Is the fiduciary duty to shareholders greater than the moral duty to prospective global consumers?

One’s first language is said to play a key role in the maintenance of one’s cultural and ethnic identity. We express our folktales, myths, proverbs and the very history of our culture and heritage in the language. It could have perhaps also been one of the reasons that the imperial powers tried to hallmark the native languages with their own and employ the use of language as a key tool to impose their power and control over the colonised. There seemed two ways for the natives to fight back- one being of rejection and the other of subversion. Then of course there was the third option-to write back in the language of the Coloniser with the motive to reach out and appeal to the masses across the globe about their plight. The challenge, however, was to keep their essence, their identity alive in the language of majority.

Objectives: X ray of the lumbosacral spine is widely used in our clinical settingearly on in the management of patients presenting with nonspecific acute low back pain. Thispractice is in contradiction to the clinical practice guidelines however patient satisfaction isusually the main motive declared by clinicians following this practice. This study was conductedto detect the radiologic prevalence of the most commonly diagnosed congenital anomaliesin lumbosacral spine X rays done for patients presenting with nonspecific acute low backpain. Study Design & Setting: Prospective descriptive study at Shalamar Hospital Lahore,Pakistan. Duration of Study: Six months from September 2014 to February 2015. Subjectsand Methods: Radiographs of 400 patients presenting with non-specific acute low back painand fulfilling the inclusion / exclusion criteria were examined. Data was analyzed on SPSSversion 13 and percentage and frequency of patients with non-specific acute low back painwith lumbosacral transitional vertebra (LSTV), spina bifida and spondylolysis was calculated. Results: Out of 400 patients 185 were males and 215 were females. Age of the patients rangedfrom 15 to 36 years with mean age of 28 (SD ±4.84). 145 patients (36.25%) were found to havecongenital anomalies of lumbosacral vertebrae in question. The prevalence of LSTV was 19.5%(78 patients), spina bifida was 10% (40 patients) and spondylolysis was 9% (36 patients). 2%(9 patients) had more than one anomaly. Conclusions: This study shows a higher prevalenceof lumbosacral transitional vertebra (LSTV) and spondylolysis in Pakistani patients presentingwith non-specific acute low backache, compared to that quoted in literature. This arguably mayconstitute a convincing argument in favor of obtaining lumbosacral spine X-rays early on in themanagement of young patients presenting with non-specific acute low backache.

Cui bono? Cherchez la femme! These ancient maxims offer counsel to the investigator of an unsolved murder or some inexplicable pattern of behaviour. They advise the pursuit of what has come more recently to be known as a form of lateral thinking. The puzzle may not best be solved by an intensification of the examination of the immediate data. The primary clue may lie out of sight somewhere further back. Financial advantage or sexual attraction, which does not show up as a feature of the immediate situation, may be the hidden motive of the traditionally male agent's actions. When that is recognized, the otherwise inexplicable phenomena may become intelligible.

She sketches pitfalls threatening researchers when their values intermingle with the object of their investigation. Starting with a fictional dialogue between sociologists on the identification of religious motives, the author briefly goes back to the study of motives within the sociology of Max Weber. Because the jurist is an important actor in contemporary debates on religious pluralism, the author continues with a short dialogue between sociologists and jurists. These two types of observers discuss the objectives, the affinities and the tensions related to their respective tasks and, thus, the limits of their respective disciplines. This paper examines the motives behind the growth of the offshoring movement embraced by most American manufacturing firms beginning the late part of the 20th century. The motives behind the offshoring trend started as a basic move to reduce the labor costs of manufacturing. It later evolves into a new business model for organizational growth and expansion into the global markets. But, beginning about 2010, the offshoring movement began to be replaced with a trend to bring manufacturing jobs back to the U. S. A. This became known as the reshoring movement. This paper examines the forces behind the reshoring movement as well as some of the reactionary forces and obstacles which the reshoring movement will have to address if it is be become and remain as a sustainable business strategy for American manufacturing.

Resumen
The article is devoted to the life and work of the Polish writer, poet, translator Josef Lobodowski. It represents his biographical information, his relationship with Ukraine and the traditions of this region. Moreover, the poetry collection “Złota hramota” from the point of view of the Ukrainian question becomes the object of the article. The aim of the work is to systematize available information concerning the life and the creative input of the outstanding Pole, who, while living in Kuban, learned the Ukrainian language and fell in love with the Ukrainian culture and poetry. Josef Lobodowski is called the successor of the “Ukrainian school” in the Polish literature of the twentieth century, because within the scope of his works he appeals to the beauty of Ukrainian nature, Ukrainian history and, equally important, the Ukrainian question. Josef Lobodowski dedicated his articles and poetry to this issue, since he considered it necessary to regulate Ukrainian-Polish relations. In this work, particular attention is paid to the poetic collection “Złota hramota” by Josef Lobodowski, since it may be regarded as a poetic appeal to a modern person, which is partly due to the title of the collection. This collection has a significant historical background and brings us back to the times when the Poles began their struggle for freedom from the Russian Empire and the restoration of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth. In addition to this, the entire collection is rich in Ukrainian national motives and reveals the national issue and a no less important issue of Polish-Ukrainian relations. However, one should evaluate the contribution of Josef Lobodowski also as a translator from the Ukrainian language who introduced the pearls of Ukrainian poetry such as Taras Shevchenko and Yevhen Malaniuk to ordinary Poles. All things considered, Josef Lobodowski as a poet, publicist, translator and just a man who was captured by Ukrainian history and culture, highlights important and topical questions in his works, as well as contributes to the popularization of Ukrainian cultural achievements on the world stage.

Resumen
Clathrin-coated vesicles bud from selected cellular membranes to traffic-specific intracellular proteins. To study the dynamic properties of clathrin-coated membranes, we expressed clathrin heavy chain tagged with green fluorescent protein (GFP) inDictyostelium cells. GFP-clathrin was functional and retained the native properties of clathrin: the chimeric protein formed classic clathrin lattices on cellular membranes and also rescued phenotypic defects of clathrin null cells. GFP-clathrin distributed into punctate loci found throughout the cytoplasm, on the plasma membrane, and concentrated to a perinuclear location. These clathrin-coated structures were remarkably motile and capable of rapid and bidirectional transport across the cell. We identified two local domains of the plasma membrane as sites for clathrin recruitment in motile cells. First, as cells translocated or changed shape and retracted their tails, clathrin was transiently concentrated on the membrane at the back of the cell tail. Second, as cells capped their cell surface receptors, clathrin was recruited locally to the membrane under the tight cap of cross-linked receptors. This suggests that local sites for clathrin polymerization on specific domains of the plasma membrane undergo rapid and dynamic regulation in motile cells.

One of the most important phenomena in US politics is Christian Zionism. The term Christian Zionism is related to unity of a large part of Protestant beliefs and the Zionists movement. The religious motives of US Protestants have coincided with the Jewish intention to go back to Palestine. In this way, Protestant religious motives could only be achieved by using political pressure on the US government. The goal of this pressure is to turn the foreign policy of Washington into a struggle for reconstruction and maintenance of the state of Israel. That is why many people wrongly believe that the US policy in Middle East is a product of the Jewish lobby. However, the US foreign policy in Middle East is a product of religious beliefs of Christian Zionists and the Jewish lobby is just using this fact for its own purposes.

The Surinamese Javanese diaspora includes distinct Surinamese Javanese communities living in Suriname and the Netherlands. Inspired by the success of diaspora policies launched by the Indian government recently the Indonesian and Surinamese governments have started to consider the introduction of similar initiatives. As a result the Surinamese Javanese diaspora has been confronted with requests to contribute more substantially to their homeland and contemplate “going back home.” This article argues that the Indonesian and Surinamese governments have no reason to set their expectations too high. Jakarta and Paramaribo are reluctant to take necessary legal action which negatively impacts the effectivity of their diaspora policy. Overall Surinamese Javanese in Suriname are unwilling to settle in Indonesia, whereas Surinamese Javanese in the Netherlands contemplating return to Suriname carefully weigh their chances. For most of them, family, friendship and community ties and concomitant socio-cultural, spiritual and religious motives override economic motives as pull factors.

Learning the skills to be a musician requires an enormous amount of effort and dedication, a long-term process that requires sustained motivation. Motivation for music is complex, blending relatively intrinsic and extrinsic motives. The purpose of this study is to investigate the motivation of musicians by considering how different aspects of motivational features interact. An international sample of 188 musicians was obtained through the use of an online survey. Four scales drawn from Self-Determination Theory (intrinsic, identified, introjected, and extrinsic regulation) were utilized along with other motivational constructs, including motivational intensity, desire to learn, willingness to play, perceived competence, and musical self-esteem. To integrate the variables into a proposed model, a path analysis was conducted among the motivation variables. Results showed that the intrinsic motives are playing the major role in the maintenance of the motivational system, while extrinsic motives are less influential. Support was found for a feedback loop, whereby desire to learn feeds into increased effort at learning (i.e., motivational intensity), leading to the development of perceived competence, which is then reflected back into increasing desire to learn. Increases in these variables help to create a virtuous cycle of motivation for music learning and performance.

Resumen
“Corazón de la oscuridad” [Heart of Darkness] takes up a title by Joseph Conrad; here darkness equals evil. It admits the polysemy of the word evil, which bounces back on its opposite good. In ancient philosophy, God was the Highest good, Christian religion left an imprint of this faith even in individuals who do not consider themselves religious. Even if we are not aware of it, many of the imprints that we carry inside ourselves (in the other self) move the affects. We must discover the manifested motive; then we discover the twinning character of the sacred, explicit in the patron saint festivities. Ancient rituals, however terrible we may judge them, lead to sociability as a symbol, and can become a manifestation of good and justice.

Resumen
This present study probes and reveals the student's motives in their online interactive communication which can be considered as a cyberbullying act. The data is collected from 157 blog archives and interview sessions with 12 selected students. These students were selected purposively from Universitas Lancang Kuning, Indonesia, due to their high frequency of producing comments in their blogs which are cyberbullying in nature. From a total of 6,259 comments, this study focused on 255 that indicates online aggression. Data analysis reveals in detail three most common motives of cyberbullying among university students in their online interactive communication, i.e., just for fun (79%), to fight back (9%), and to express upsetting feelings (5%). Thus, this study's findings are different from past and present studies about cyberbullying, which sees cyberbullying fully as a threat as a common point. Instead of seeing cyberbullying as only a danger, this study clearly sees in some parts that cyberbullying can simply be an act of playing or exaggerating with language.
