Resumen
Introduction. Faulty posture is define as the syndrome of bad posture that we characterize as minimal, individual anomalies upon proper poise which are potentially curable with professional passive and active exercises. An im-portant function at develop posture anomalies has factors which induce to take improper silhouette. To the above factors mainly belong: bad posture while relaxation, wrong place to study or hefting overloaded packs. Aim. Depiction of common problem among children at school age which is exposure of faulty posture and specification of factors which produce faulty posture. Material and methods. In the thesis was used method of evaluation and diag-nostic survey method. With the object of execution the questionnaire surveys applied an anonymous and authorial questionnaire at the same time. A hundred of children at 11-14 age entered the survey. Based on data, computed BMI rate and the anthropometric parameters were evaluated according to centile grid. Results. A hundred of children entered the research (49% boys, 51% girls). 24% of children had diagnose of faulty posture namely 16 girls and 8 boys. Fallen arches was detected at 11 children, it is about 46% of people with bad posture, whereas none of children had knees valgus (0%). 38% of children who are active less than hour per day were diagnosed with faulty posture, whereas group of people with 1-2 hours daily physical activity had only 16,1% of chil-dren with faulty posture. On the other hand with students who spare over two hours on activity daily were not any fault. 87,5% of respondents with wrong BMI rate level suffer from bad posture. Children (66%), who do not respect right rules of carrying pack have diagnosed faulty posture. Conclusion. Every fourth child at research group has bad posture. The com-mon type of faulty posture is fallen arches, but the rarest is knee valgus. Low level of physical activity and wrong way of carrying pack significantly contrib-ute to develop faulty posture among school age children. Furthermore inade-quate result of BMI also has negative impact on body posture of child.

Resumen
<span>The posture monitoring system monitors the posture changes of the upper body and the spinal cord applying to ophthalmologists while operating the slit lamp. The motivation to the pursuit of this system is to relate posture changes while in a static sitting posture to the spinal deviation from the g-line. Often times, the spinal deviation from the g-line is classified as bad posture because of the shift in weight distribution on the spine causing pain and discomfort in certain areas of the spine. This paper presents the design concept, the development process and the working principle of the posture monitoring system using Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) sensor. The raw measurement data obtained from human trials is tabulated and converted into a graphical representation in which all postures can be identified and distinguished by referring the relative wave pattern. The procedure is important in the improvement on the posture monitoring system for the human trials on the ophthalmologist in future.</span>

Resumen
Abstract Introduction: In the new millennium, the medical community still deals with the treatment of idiopathic scoliosis as a three-dimensional (3D) curvature known in India before Hippocrates. However, we doctors that deal with deformities of the spine, stick to Reichalt's rule for treatment according to the size of the curvature and its progression. The aim of our study is to explain our own opinion for progression of bad posture in school children according to physical inactivity and use of video terminals (VT). Materials and methods: We have made some researches about standards of school screening for bad posture and its impact on morphological and functional changes in them. Results: Most of school children spend more than 2 hours in front of video terminals, they have increased body weight, and postural changes in sagittal plane. Discussion: Some postural bad positions in age of intensive growth can became structural. In the era of fast technology development the future generation shall have functional changes on body like result of long standing in bad position. Conclusion: The future studies for bad posture in school children should be aimed to find how much long sitting in front of VT can affect their health in the adult age.

Bad sitting posture is harmful to human health. Intelligent sitting posture recognition algorithm can remind people to correct their sitting posture. In this paper, a sitting pressure image acquisition system was designed. With the system, we innovatively proposed a hip positioning algorithm based on hip templates. The average deviation of the algorithm for hip positioning is 1.306 pixels (the equivalent distance is 1.50 cm), and the proportion of the maximum positioning deviation less than three pixels is 94.1%. Statistics show that the algorithm works relatively well for different subjects. At the same time, the algorithm can not only effectively locate the hip position with a small rotation angle (0°–15°), but also has certain adaptability to the sitting posture with a medium rotation angle (15°–30°) or a large rotation angle (30°–45°). Using the hip positioning algorithm, the regional pressure values of the left hip, right hip and caudal vertebrae are effectively extracted as the features, and support vector machine (SVM) with polynomial kernel is used to classify the four types of sitting postures, with a classification accuracy of up to 89.6%.

Resumen
Preschool children are in a period of the most intense growth and development, and this is also a period when physical education can be used more effectively to guide their proper development. On the other hand, if the necessary care is not taken, the occurrence of poor physical development of preschool children of young school age is increasingly emphasized as a problem, primarily as a consequence of the modern way of life, in which the reduced volume of physical activity is particularly emphasized. We want to emphasize that this is an age where the growth and development of children is very intense and accelerated, so the effects of external and internal factors in both directions are very large and this fact should always be taken into consideration by children's institutions, educators, doctors, parents and to give special care to it. The spinal column was especially endangered during this period, as a basis for proper posture and proper growth and development. Today's children spend most of their days at home, growing and developing with the control and influence of computers, mobile phones, video games and the end of the TV screen, so there is very little time to move around. The author, pointing to the problem, encloses the choice of therapeutic exercises with the application of which could be much influenced in order to prevent the occurrence of poor posture and the formation of physical deformities.

Abstract Good posture means spine is neutral. Posture is dictated by the existing occlusion, especially the relation between the maxillary and mandibular permanent first molars. Overloading the spine due to bad posture is the precursor of many ailments. Obstructive Sleep Apnea Syndrome is one of them. Compromised airway is found to be a major contributory factor in sleep apnea cases. Restoring the dental anatomy to its normal has been found to reduce the load on the spine, improving ones posture. It also facilitates the compromised airways to attain normalcy.

Resumen
Temporomandibular joint (TMJ)is a component of the stomatognati system that supports oral dental health whichtheir components are closely interconnected. Posture is a habit that often do not realize that could cause animbalance in the joints and muscles, which in turn causes pain. Inadequate body posture can occur on sleepposition, lying down, sitting, walking, and other daily activities. Most people are not aware of the dangers of thesehabits. Dentists are expected to shed some light on the habits of this particular posture errors, which if not promptlyremoved, it will cause interference with stomatognati systems, such as joint and muscle pain, headache and neck.Complaints due to bad habits can be reduced significantly by eliminating the habit. So it is with the wrong posturehabits. With improved posture and a series of exercises as well as the care, the health of TMJ can return to normalwith minimal costs. This paper will put forward any posture that can lead to disruption of TMJ.

Resumen
Posture is the most healthy and correct placement of each region in the body when compared to the whole body. The predominantly use of one side of the body disrupts the posture. A bad posture changes the center of gravity of the body and causes chronic skeletal and muscle soreness. It is aimed to determine whether there is a rehabilitative effect of football training that does not require the use of dominant arms on posture asymmetries which may occur in the basketball which requires the use of dominant arm and leg in the study.15 male basketball players who played basketball for an average of 8 years with a mean age of 21.7 ± 1.5 years participated as volunteers. Postures of the subjects were measured with PostureScreen Mobile® before and after 12 week football trainings with lateral and anteriorly taken photographs. SPSS 22 was used program for statistical analysis. While analyzing of data Wilcoxon Test method was used and it is determined as significance level was p<0.05.After 12 weeks of football training, statistically significant differences were found in measurements taken from the anterior and lateral positions on the head, shoulder, ribcage, hip, and knee measured tilts and shifts. Estimated average head weight decreased depending on the posture of the cervical vertebrae and a significant difference was detected. Postures of subjects came close to the correct posture.Basketball is an acycle sport branch that requires the use of muscles on the dominant side. It creates an asymmetric position on the athlete due to this feature; causes shifting and tilts. In order to eliminate postural disorders that occur, the effectiveness of football training that does not require to use of the dominant side of the body has been demonstrated.

Resumen
Working facilities may influence worker’s working posture. CV.Tani Organik Merapi (CV.TOM) is an organic vegetables company. The company provides ”dingklik” (footstool) for working. While working with “footstool”, workers must bend their legs with high bend degrees as well as their back. This poor working posture is caused by bad working facilities. It’s important to check the working posture to know whether the improvement of working facilities is needed or not. Ovako Working Analysis System (OWAS) was used to check the badness level of working posture in every CV.TOM’s working activities. It’s identified that packaging section has the worst working posture. Then it was decided to provide a new working facility to improve working posture in packaging section. CATIA V5 was used to design the new working facility. Three ergonomics tools were used to compare footstool” working posture with the new working facility. Those tools are Rapid Upper Limb Assessment (RULA), Manual Task Risk Assessment (ManTRA), and Rodgers Muscle Fatigue Analysis (RMFA). It was found that the new working facility can substitute “dingklik” with lower posture score and safer. Keywords: Ergonomics; Catia; Comfortability; Facility; Working posture

Resumen
Tractor drivers have quite often musculoskeletal problems because of bad sitting postures. It has been found that a good sitting posture is the one obtained when sitting on a horse with the hips in a muscle balanced rest position of 45°. A natural curvature of the spine is acquired as well as a perfectly balanced position in which the body obtains a good position of the centre of gravity. To improve the sitting posture of the driver of agricultural tractors, different types of saddle seats were adapted to fit in a tractor, and tested upon their comfort, work function and sitting posture. The saddle seats occupied less space in the horizontal plane compared to the conventional chair, and they were rotating freely during driving. Ten subjects employed as tractor drivers volunteered for the study. They harrowed and ploughed with three different saddle seats and one conventional tractor chair. Questions on experienced chair comfort and work function were asked. The drivers were video filmed from above and from the side in order to register their sitting posture. On a scale from 1 to 5 the conventional chair received a mean score of 3.6 and the saddle seats received mean score around 2. The difference is regarded to depend on differences in seat comfort. The saddle seats free rotation was mainly used during ploughing and reduced the spinal twisting 50%. The seat height adjusted by the tractor drivers was for the saddle seats 13 cm higher than for the conventional chair. This meant that the drivers received a sitting posture advantageous for the spine curvature. A future design of a tractor chair should have the possibility of varying raised sitting posture and free rotation. The seat should have a shape which gives a better seat comfort than any of the tested saddle seats.

Summary Searching for active, effective intervention approaches, aimed to improving health protection, not only among children and youth, is an up-to-date research intention from a number of points of view. The reason is the prevalence of civilization diseases, in our case the muscular and skeletal system offers a number of issues of the prevention in relation to feet position and body posture. Based on the above, the aim of research was to identify change of body posture in elementary school pupil by applying Propriofoot Concept in physical and sport education. The monitored group (n = 1), within selected seventh year of Elementary School Radovan Kaufman in Partizánske, consisted of male pupil (n = 1) (12 years of age, 48 kg, 160 cm and 18.75 Bmi) in pubescence who underwent various data acquisition methods (plantogram and visual scale method, index method, method of evaluation body posture, evaluation of dynamic spine function), after and before applying Propriofoot Concept, within lessons of physical and sport education, as their processing and evaluation was realized with the help of clinical case reports. The analysis and synthesis, inductive and deductive approaches, comparisons and generalizations were used, as well as the primary statistics (arithmetic mean (±) and percentage frequency analysis (%). The obtained research results pointed to the positive changes in all of the above mentioned data acquisition methods, i.e. in the plantogram and visual scale method (from pes planus/1st pes planus to norm), index method (- 0.24), method of evaluation body posture (from bad to good posture) and dynamic spine function (tests of Schober - + 1.8, Stibor - + 3.1 and Otto - + .7, + .8). The applied six-week intervention physical program, in the form of Propriofoot Concept, and within the school lessons of physical and sport education changed the body posture in the elementary school pupil and therefore the Propriofoot Concept is considered as health tool in acting and changing the body posture through the foot proprioception. The mentioned concept is considered as diversification of school physical and sport education, in connection with the applying new variants of health tools and changing body postures of the elementary and high school pupils/students.

Introduction. The spine deformities tend to increase, and in 90% of children they change the quality of life. The aim of this study was to determine the percents of spinal deformity in our population of adolescents, and long bad posture in and out of school as a factor for its increase. Material and methods. The study included 124 adolescents attending High Musical School in Bitola and Skopje, who underwent four standard spine tests and an interview. Results. According to the test 3, 50% of the examined adolescents in Bitola and 69% in Skopje had the postural spine deformity, the average being 59.5%. The results obtained by the questionnaire showed that 50% of adolescents did not have any physical activity out of school, the longest daily activity, lasting four hours, in 48% of the examinees was practising their musical instruments; 40% of the examinees spent two hours watching TV or using the computer, whereas 18% did not use any of them at all. Conclusion. The bad spine posture tends to deteriorate in adolescents and the factor influencing this result should be established by studies aimed at determining the effects of physical activity on reducing such deformities, since the specific type of their education induces the risk of developing pain and early degenerative changes of the spine, which are predominant in the professionals.

Resumen
Body posture is one of the most important parts when lifting an object as it can causes injury if the wrong technique and body posture were used. A worker will injure their low back if a bad posture is not in consideration. A good body posture is recommended among workers to reduce the chance of injury while lifting and improve their postural safety. The main objectives of this study are to observe the body posture of the worker during lifting and study the comparison of using lower back support when lifting. It also investigates the muscle activity of the worker during heavy lifting using EMG and simulates the worker's movement using CATIA Software for Rapid Upper Limb Assessment (RULA) results. The selected grocery was chosen in Kota Samarahan, Sarawak with 7 male respondents are identified to undergo this study. The results show that the worker with lower back support tends to show raw EMG signal with lower muscle activity compared to without using lower back support. Thus, using belt support can reduce muscle activity by up to 67.4% compare to not wearing back support. Raw EMG signals also show 3010 amplitude (mV) muscle activity if postural safety of the workers improved by following the NIOSH lifting Recommendations.

With the rapid development of computer technology, people have begun to combine virtual reality and other technologies to achieve scientific sports auxiliary training, to get rid of the state of traditional sports training purely relying on experience. The article proposes a deep learning BP neural network human body posture recognition algorithm and briefly introduces the human body motion posture. The purpose of this research was to use the powerful data processing, mining, and analysis functions of deep learning to train the massive data generated in competitive sports training and apply it to competitive sports training. It is committed to promoting the accuracy and analysis of competitive sports training. Refinement provides technical guidance for athletes’ training, promotes the scientific and informatized development of competitive sports training in China, and provides some reference methods for the research and application of deep learning in competitive sports training. The article’s research results show that (1) taking a rural area as an example, we recorded the exercise postures of rural athletes in five different states: static, upstairs, downstairs, walking, and running. Comparing the recognition rate and training time of The BP neural network algorithm, ABC-BP algorithm, AFS-BP algorithm, and ABC-AFS-BP algorithm, it can be found that in terms of recognition rate, ABC-AFS-BP algorithm, AFS-BP algorithm, and ABC-BP algorithm are better than traditional BP algorithm. Among them, the recognition rate of the ABC-AFS-BP algorithm is higher than that of the ABC-BP algorithm, but it takes slightly more time than the ABC-BP algorithm. In terms of training time, the ABC-BP algorithm takes less time, but the accuracy is lower than the ABC-AFS-BP algorithm; the ABC-AFS-BP algorithm has a greater improvement in time consumption than the AFS-BP model and can guarantee the recognition rate and accuracy, and the error rate curves of the four algorithms show that after 500 iterations of the training part, the iteration error value of the ABC-AFS-BP algorithm is the smallest. (2) We evaluated sports postures of athletes from a certain rural team and concluded that bad postures will have a certain impact on the body. Among them, more than 85% of athletes in football and basketball have pelvic rotation. The problem is that football players have reached 90% of the test sample. 60% of football players and basketball players have the problem of collapsed foot. The main problem of aerobic athletes is flat back and collapsed foot. More than 90% of badminton players have high and low shoulder problems, and more than 80% of them have neck problems, which is a very serious body posture problem. (3) Detecting the flexibility experiment of the BP posture detection algorithm, compared with the traditional motion posture recording method, we tested from the three aspects of recording motion accuracy, missed detection rate, and recording time. The result shows BP posture detection. The missing detection rate of the algorithm is low, basically maintained at about 2.0, the accuracy of recording actions is relatively high, generally maintained above 98%, and the highest is 99.15%, and the recording time is short, maintained at 3–4 minutes; comparing traditional posture detection with the BP attitude detection algorithm, the missed detection rate of the algorithm is relatively high, kept at 4–6, the action accuracy is lower than that of the BP attitude detection algorithm, generally kept at about 95%, and the recording time is kept at 5–6 minutes. The posture detection algorithm is more efficient.

Resumen
Introduction. Poor muscle development, accompanied by insuffcient physical activity and non-physiological forces which act on the bone and joint system, often causes improper body posture. Objectives. To examine whether performing corrective exercises which stretch shortened and strengthen weakened muscles regularly can improve body posture in preschool and school-aged children. Methods. The prospective study included 110 children, 63 (57.2%) boys and 47 (42.8%) girls (the average age being 6.6 ± 2.4). Corrective exercises were performed four times a week for six months, in periods of 90 minutes. We used somatoscopy and somatometry methods to assess body posture. Results. On the initial checkup it was found that 18 children (16.4%) had some kind of spine deformity; 11 of them (10%) had scoliosis, six (5.5%) had kyphosis and 1(0.9%) had lordotic body posture. The first follow-up checkup was performed 3 months later when we found a decrease in the number of children with a bad body posture. The second follow-up checkup was repeated 6 months later. Out of 18 children (16.4%) who had been registered at the beginning, 4 (3.6%) had scoliotic, 2 (1.8%) had kyphotic and 1 (0.9%) had lordotic posture 6 months later. Conclusion. Based on the obtained results, it can be said that regular performance of corrective exercises (strengthening weakened and stretching shortened muscles) for six months had a positive effect on certain spine deformities. Kyphosis correction was visible after only three months, scoliosis correction was visible after six months, while lordosis correction was not achieved by corrective exercises in the only registered case.

Resumen
Background. A review of the health and physical activity of children and teenagers in Lithuania over the last twenty years has shown that many aspects of pupil physical capacity have deteriorated between 1992 and 2012 (Venckunas, Emeljanovas, Mieziene, & Volbekiene, 2017). Also research has shown that musculoskeletal disorders were most commonly found in children aged 4 to 6 years (Daniusevičiutė-Brazaitė & Grėbliauskienė, 2019). Therefore, if these negative trends continue, the growing health problems will pose a greater threat to human well-being and become a serious financial burden for the state and society. Currently technologies are an integral part of everyday life, so the need for interactive games or animated programs cannot be doubted. Research (Lobel, Engels, Stone, Burk, & Granic, 2017) has shown that the use of play-based intervention for children significantly improves fine and visual motor performance. Hence, it is important to identify the possible factors affecting pre-school children’s irregular posture formation. Methods. The study included 377 preschool children from 4 to 6 years old. Three evaluations were performed in the study: posture (using W. K. Hoeger posture assessment methodology), abdominal and back muscle endurance, and balance (Arcinavičius,, Kesminas, & Milčarek, 2004). Results. Assessing the results of the shoulder position of 5-year-old children, results showed that only 16% had good shoulder posture, satisfactory – 74%, bad – 10%. Age was found to have no effect on posture assessment results. According to the study, balance, back, and abdominal functional capacity were better in 6-year-old children. Conclusion. After analyzing 4-year old children group torso, abdomen, lower spine and legs, we can see that a higher percentage of children had a satisfactory posture in the aforementioned body parts. According to the posture results, the most abnormal part of the body was the abdomen. The study data showed that 6-year-old subjects’ balance, lower spine and abdominal performance were better compared to other age groups. Keywords: preschool child, physical activity, posture.

Resumen
ABSTRACT CONTEXT AND OBJECTIVE: Breaking bad news is one of doctors’ duties and it requires them to have some skills, given that this situation is difficult and distressful for patients and their families. Moreover, it is also an uncomfortable condition for doctors. The aim of this study was to evaluate doctors’ capacity to break bad news, ascertain which specialties are best prepared for doing this and assess the importance of including this topic within undergraduate courses. DESIGN AND SETTING: Observational cross-sectional quantitative study conducted at a university hospital in Belo Horizonte (MG), Brazil. METHODS: This study used a questionnaire based on the SPIKES protocol, which was answered by 121 doctors at this university hospital. This questionnaire investigated their attitudes, posture, behavior and fears relating to breaking bad news. RESULTS: The majority of the doctors did not have problems regarding the concept of bad news. Nevertheless, their abilities diverged depending on the stage of the protocol and on their specialty and length of time since graduation. Generally, doctors who had graduated more than ten years before this survey felt more comfortable and confident, and thus transmitted the bad news in a better conducted manner. CONCLUSION: Much needs to be improved regarding this technique. Therefore, inclusion of this topic in undergraduate courses is necessary and proposals should be put forward and verified.

Resumen
This research identified any kind of work condition and craftsman’s posture that trigger the pain and discomfort for craftsman of doormat in Pringapus, Semarang. Observation of the work condition is conducted including work facilities and their posture during sewing process. To identify their pain and discomfort, Nordic Musculoskeletal Questionnaire (NMQ) is used as reference. The result is used as an input for rapid upper limb assessment worksheet (RULA) to determine the level of the risk. RULA’s final score is indicated the conditions need further investigation and change may be needed. Based on the analysis using fishbone diagram, to overcome pain/discomfort in the area of the neck and the shoulder, high adjustment of table and seat is suggested, because the evidence shows they trigger the craftsmen’s bad posture. For pain/discomfort of back and waist, the seat should have good back support. Whereas for the hip, the craftsman suggested to use the seat with thick and wider sleeper, so they can sit comfortably. For foot problems, to relieve the pain for their free feet, it is suggested to use a bench that functions as foot rest; and for the sewing feet, it is suggested to give heels support so the sewers' heels can be free from strain while sewing.

Index of Osteomuscular Lesions and Their Co-Relationship with Posture Disorders in Care-Givers of Elderly People ABSTRACT: An incorrect posture is a bad habit, with high occurrence in tasks that demand force and movement. Posture defects originate from incorrect use of the functional capacities of the muscle-skeleton system in which the main posture changes comprise scoliosis, hyperciphosis, hyperlordosis and osteomuscular lesions. Current paper analyzes the predominance of osteomuscular symptoms and their co-relationships with posture disturbances of caregivers of elderly people in Tabapuã SP Brazil. The transversal, quantitative and suggestive research included caregivers of several age brackets and of both genders; only caregivers with neurofunctional problems were excluded from the sample. The Nordic Questionnaire of Osteomuscular Symptoms, an identifying tool for osteomuscular disorders in several anatomic regions, and computerized biophotogrammetry (posturegram), were employed. The latter obtains the distances between anatomic points by means of photographs to determine asymmetries evidenced by a technical report based on determined distances measured by a metric scale. Data showed that the highest occurrence was reported at the lumbar region (40%), followed by the lower limbs (35%). All registered pain and reports on the postural alteration of scoliosis were measured by Thales´s angle, the lower angle from the scapula to the acromion.

Resumen
Abstract Background and aims The concept of bad posture being a dominant driver of pain is commonly held belief in the society. This may explain the significant attention supportive clothing such as posture-correcting shirts has recently gained in Scandinavia and the USA. The aim of this scoping review was to present an overview and synthesis of the available evidence for the use of posture-correcting shirts aimed at reducing pain or postural discomfort and optimising function/posture. Methods A systematic search was conducted for literature investigating the effect of posture-correcting shirts on musculoskeletal pain or function. PubMed, Embase, CINAHL, PEDro and the Cochrane Library were searched for relevant literature. Results of the searches were evaluated by two independent reviewers in three separate steps based on title, abstract and full text. For data synthesis, the population, intervention, comparator and outcome were extracted. The quality of the literature was evaluated using the Quality Assessment Tool for Observational Cohort and Cross-Sectional Studies and the risk of bias was assessed using the Risk Of Bias In Non-randomized Studies – of Interventions (ROBINS-I) assessment tool or the RoB 2.0 tool for individually randomized, parallel group trials. The overall confidence in the literature was determined using the Grading of Recommendations Assessment, Development and Evaluation (GRADE). Results A total of 136 articles were identified and six of these were included in the review. These studies were heterogeneous with regards to aims, outcomes and methods, presenting contrasting results. The overall findings were that posture-correcting shirts change posture and subjectively have a positive effect on discomfort, energy levels and productivity. The quality of the included literature was poor to fair with only one study being of good quality. The risk of bias was serious or critical for the included studies. Overall, this resulted in very low confidence in available evidence. An important limitation of all studies was that they were conducted in pain-free individuals. Conclusions The contrasting findings and the low quality of current literature, questions the intended effect of posture-correcting shirts and whether the changes it creates are in fact useful for clinical practice. Moreover, the findings are contrasted by the available evidence regarding posture and pain with a particular focus on whether this management strategy may have a detrimental effect on people living with musculoskeletal pain. A major limitation to the existing literature on the effect of posture-correcting shirts is that no studies have investigated their effect in clinical populations. Implications Based on the available literature and the major limitation of no studies investigating clinical populations, there is no good quality evidence to support recommendation of posture-correcting shirts as a management strategy for musculoskeletal pain. Promotion of this product may reinforce the inaccurate and unhelpful message that poor posture leads to pain. The efficacy of such garments should be tested in clinical populations and not only in pain-free individuals, to assess whether there is any meaningful benefit of this management approach. Until then, the use of posture-correcting shirts for musculoskeletal pain is not supported by current evidence.

Resumen
The relevant content of China’s sport work clearly pointed out that it is necessary to improve the physical and mental health of the citizens. Combining the current development hotspots of mobile smart terminals and smart wearable devices, smart wearable devices are analyzed from the function and development history in order to find an effective combination of smart wearable devices and sports work. This article describes the youth as the main body receiving grassroots physical education of nonsports special students and basketball enthusiasts. In the process of physical education teaching, the problem of pain points is more prominent because most teenagers in the basketball education at the grass-roots level do not have the opportunity to get one-to-one private counseling. When there are problems in the operation, students cannot be guided to conduct training or practice by themselves. This paper aims to meet the demand of real-time monitoring of dribbling posture in basketball dribbling training and proposes a low-cost product solution to help teenagers carry out basketball dribbling training by themselves: intelligent wearable product of head wrist and dribbling assistant DribbleAid, which is used to monitor common bad posture problems of users in dribbling training and give corresponding reminders to deal with users’ pain points. In this work, various experiments have been carried out for the proposed method and system. A large number of experimental results show that the method designed in this paper can effectively monitor the basketball training posture.

Malocclusion is a condition that deviates from normal occlusion including irregularities of the teeth in the arch of the jaw such as crowding, protrusive, malposition and relationships that are not harmonious with the antagonist teeth. Non-physiological oral habits are abnormal human habits that cause stresses and tendencies that persist and are repeated continuously so that it affects craniofacial growth and is usually called bad habits. Changes in the activity of these muscles will lead to modification of facial growth patterns and head posture that can result in dentofacial deformity. Adaptation from nasal breathing to mouth breathing causes several unhealthy things, such as chronic middle ear infections, sinusitis, upper respiratory tract infections, sleep disor-ders, and facial growth disorders.

Resumen
Summary Introduction: Posture is determined by the performance of the visual, somatosensory and vestibular systems. Children with hearing loss can present problems in their posture or postural control, enabling postural deviations and alterations to appear in their vertebral column, possibly provoked by a hypoactivity of the vestibular system as a result of deafness. Objective: To evaluate the posture of the vertebral column in children and teenagers with hearing loss at school age, taking into consideration the sample gender and age. Method: A descriptive and prospective study was performed at both Duque de Caxias School and Rotary Rehabilitation and Special Education Center in Caruaru – Pernambuco. 44 students aged between 7-17 years old, out of whom 22 were female and 22 were male, with hearing loss were evaluated. The study was developed by way of a postural evaluation, using a symmetrograph, marking specific anatomical points with stickers placed over polystyrene balls and fixed with double-sided adhesive tape. Results: The results showed that all of the individuals evaluated in this study presented some kind of postural alteration in their vertebral column. Scoliosis was the most observed alteration among the students (84.1%), followed by thoracic hyperkyphosis (68.2%). Conclusion: It has been concluded that children and teenagers with hearing loss are exposed to postural alteration in their vertebral column. Such a condition can be associated with a number of factors comprising unfavorable ergonomics of the school environment, bad postural habits and impairment of the vestibular system by virtue of the hearing loss.

Resumen
For the past thirty years, there is a high incidence of postural and spinal disorders among young people worldwide as well as in Bulgaria. Currently, in Bulgaria, there is no legally assigned structure responsible for the regular screening and prevention of these abnormalities in the rising generation. In many Bulgarian universities in PE and Sport classes students practice one kind of sport. There are some sports, which are recommended in postural and early stages of spinal disorders, and others, which could worsen the condition. The study aimed to establish university students’ awareness of their postural/spinal status, and whether they experience the most common symptoms of postural/spinal disorders – pain, soreness, stiffness in particular parts of the body. The results show that almost half of 400 students have never been examined, and nearly 60% experience the typical postural/spinal disorders, symptoms. The authors recommend posture corrective exercise sets to be included in PE and Sport classes at universities as well as the reestablishment of legally assigned structure responsible for the regular screening and prevention of postural and spinal distortions.

Resumen
This paper studies the extent to which difficulties in teleworking continue to be encountered by civil servants of the Spanish General State Administration (AGE) who, after the mandatory lockdown decreed by the Spanish Government from March to May 2020, continue to carry out their work under this modality. The results obtained support that the main difficulties are the acquisition of bad posture and problems in separating work and family life, and the presence of different types of difficulties differs depending on gender, the structure of the household, or whether the employee belongs to the levels of positions where higher qualification is required. In addition, ambiguity is expressed regarding the provision of resources and lack of training provided by the AGE.

Resumen
The development in research concerning sedentary behaviour has been rapid over the past two decades. This has led to the development of evidence and views that have become more advanced, diverse and, possibly, contentious. These include the effects of standing, the breaking up of prolonged sitting and the role of moderate-to-vigorous physical activity (MVPA) in the association between sedentary behaviour and health outcomes. The present aim is to report the views of experts (n = 21) brought together (one-day face-to-face meeting in 2018) to consider these issues and provide conclusions and recommendations for future work. Each topic was reviewed and presented by one expert followed by full group discussion, which was recorded, transcribed and analysed. The experts concluded that (a). standing may bring benefits that accrue from postural shifts. Prolonged (mainly static) standing and prolonged sitting are both bad for health; (b). ‘the best posture is the next posture’. Regularly breaking up of sitting with postural shifts and movement is vital; (c). health effects of prolonged sitting are evident even after controlling for MVPA, but high levels of MVPA can attenuate the deleterious effects of prolonged sitting depending on the health outcome of interest. Expert discussion addressed measurement, messaging and future directions.

Resumen
Background: The most essential part of manufacturing the products is grinding. Health and safety of workers are the most important issues in this unit now a days. High productivity as well as maximum turnover is the highest interest of these units. Target oriented work puts some pressure on the workers that also increase their muscular and body stresses. Methods: The research work was done in different small-scale grinding units in West Bengal. The snap shot of 20 workers in different grinding units was obtained and evaluated with the help of rapid upper limb assessment. NIOSH’s discomfort survey method was used for mapping the different areas of pain, dissatisfactions during the operation. Heart rate and postural stresses were also noticed. Results: This research work also shows that the poor working conditions enhance the body stresses and the discomfort level of grinders. The highest heart rate also indicates the poor health condition of grinders. Poor environmental conditions, specially noise and heat were common in grinding units. Conclusions: It can be concluded that MSDs were present in the activities carried out in grinding units where the major number of workers were involved in bad body postures. This research work also shows that the poor working conditions enhance the body stresses and the discomfort level of grinders.

Resumen
SummaryPainful orthopedic conditions associated with extreme tall stature and leg length discrepancy (LLD) include back pain and adopting bad posture. After failure of conservative treatment options, blocking of the growth plates (epiphysiodesis) around the knee emerged as gold standard in patients with tall stature and LLD in the growing skeleton. Surgical planning includes growth prediction and evaluation of bone age. Since growth prediction is associated with a certain potential error, adequate planning and timing of epiphysiodesis are the key for success of the treatment. LLD corrections up to 5 cm can be achieved, and predicted extreme tall stature can be limited. Percutaneous epiphysiodesis techniques are minimally invasive, safe and efficient methods with low complication rates. In general, a multidisciplinary approach should be pursued when treating children and adolescents with tall stature.

Resumen
Background. During the rehabilitation of children with distal occlusion, it is not always possible to achieve the desired outcomes. In this context, the factors influencing the outcomes of treatment for class II malocclusions in children at different stages of occlusion development. Aim. To study two-stage orthodontic treatment outcomes in children with dentoalveolar class II malocclusion by the clinical case. Material and methods. We analyzed the physical examination results of the patient within the treatment from 6 to 17 years. Facial proportion symmetry, aesthetic, type of face, plaster dental models were determined by using the photographs. Orthopantomography was used to analyze the condition of temporary and permanent teeth, jaw bone tissue and to assess functional disorders. Orthodontic treatment in a mixed dentition period was carried out using removable devices, including those improved by the authors. In the permanent dentition, orthodontic brackets with power elements were used. Results. Untimely contacting the doctor, an insufficient level of motivation to implement recommendations for improving posture and dental care contributed to an increase in treatment duration. Keeping excessive cervical spine flexion and head tilted back, the bad habit of placing (pressure) the hand on the chin, and the rejection of a myo-gymnastic exercise (physical therapy) interfered with the synchronous (normal) development of the jaws. Premature loss of a temporary molar on one side led to dentoalveolar asymmetry and disruption of occlusal contacts. Additional orthodontic appliances were used to correct these deformities. Over-retained deciduous teeth led to the delayed eruption of permanent teeth and, presumably, to the curvature of their roots. Violation of the tooths root shape and asymmetry in permanent teeth crown size prevented the full correction of their position using highly effective modern non-removable orthodontic equipment. The anomalous position of the rudiment of the third molar, the refusal for timely tooth extraction further led to the increasing complexity of the surgical technique. Conclusion. The timing and effectiveness of orthodontic treatment of a patient with dentoalveolar class II malocclusion were influenced by a poor body posture, extraction of a primary molar, the delayed eruption and crown size asymmetry of permanent teeth, the presence of bad habits and minimal cooperation of the patient with the orthodontist.

Resumen
The development of science and technology brings about many advantages for human beings, yet it also creates a risk for their health and correct growth, including problems with right posture among children. The fast pace of life, an increasing number of tasks in- and outside of school, lack of physical activity, bad dietary habits and permanent compression of vertebrae are the main factors responsible for posture problems among child and teenager groups. The ages between 7 and 10 seem to be a critical period for forming the body position and it is connected with changing children’s daily learning routine (from free and loose activity to a few-hour sitting position at school). In effect, about 60% of children suffer from postural problems. This percentage has a rising tendency as such problems increase with age. The prevention and treatment of consequent disorders is based e.g. on physical exercise during corrective gymnastic classes, where a number of new technology solutions to improve standard and quality of such classes are used, e.g. motion sensors (Microsoft Kinect). This articleconnects corrective exercises with motion-control-based computer games. This approach uses the natural interest of children for interactive games to improve their engagement in corrective exercises. This new form of health-related activity packed in a “computer driven case” is a real chance to make corrective exercises more children-friendly and thus to stimulate children’s motivation to actively participate in them.
