Doctor in Applied Mathematics for Economics and Management
We prove the high dimensional version of the Bochi-Mañé dichotomy for Hamiltonian systems, achieving for the fi rst time in a continuous setting such a general result. That is, we nd the existence of a C2-residual set of Hamiltonians for which there is an open mod 0 dense set of regular energy surfaces each being either Anosov or for almost every x, either LE(x) = 0 or there is a partially hyperbolic splitting . A generalization of Bochi's random perturbative technique is developed and used in the Hamiltonian framework, to show the extended reach of probabilistic methods and their importance on the nesting and iterative process of perturbations. The main technique consists in letting the original dynamics component act on the invariant subspaces while the random component acts on the direction we are iteratively perturbing. We also connect reachability properties of dynamically guided stochastic processes with the existence or lack of domination on orbits

A ampliação das evidências sobre os conhecimentos e a aprendizagem do treinador parece não refletir no contexto investigativo acerca do esporte paralímpico, pois não existem muitos estudos empíricos abordando a intervenção do treinador de esportes adaptados. Neste sentido, o objetivo deste estudo foi analisar a percepção dos treinadores de Bocha Paralímpica acerca dos conhecimentos necessários para a intervenção profissional. Adotou-se uma abordagem qualitativa de pesquisa, de caráter descritivo interpretativo, a partir de estudos de caso múltiplos, envolvendo quatro treinadores de Bocha Paralímpica do estado de Santa Catarina, que apresentam uma gama de conhecimentos exibidos durante sua trajetória profissional. Os dados foram obtidos com a gravação de áudio, por meio de uma entrevista semiestruturada. A interpretação desses dados foi realizada com a análise de conteúdo, utilizando de rigor científico, como forma de acrescentar maior garantia científica aos dados. Os resultados emergiram para uma gama de conhecimentos para sustentar a intervenção profissional dos treinadores de Bocha Paralímpica. Esses conhecimentos são voltados para a valorização dos conhecimentos específicos sobre a modalidade investigada, com ênfase principalmente, sobre os aspectos relacionados aos atletas. Com isso, o enaltecimento dos atletas, diferencia os treinadores de Bocha, dos treinadores de outras modalidades convencionais. Além do mais, destaca-se que esses conhecimentos exaltam a capacidade de comunicação e de ter proximidade com outros atores envolvidos no cenário esportivo da modalidade, devido ao comprometimento motor desses atletas, advindos da deficiência. De outro modo, ocorre uma maior valorização por parte dos treinadores para as situações de aprendizagens ocorridas, principalmente, no contexto informal, caracterizado preferencialmente, a partir das situações ocorridas no dia-a-dia do treino e competições, com o compartilhamento das informações com outros treinadores e profissionais envolvidos no ambiente da Bocha Paralímpica, bem como, a observação.
Abstract : The widening of the evidence on the coach's knowledge and learning does not seem to reflect in the investigative context about the paralympic sport, as there are not many empirical studies addressing the intervention of the adapted sports coach. In this sense, the objective of this study was to analyze the perception of the coaches of Paralympic Bocce about the knowledge needed for professional intervention. We adopted a qualitative research approach, with a descriptive interpretive character, based on multiple case studies involving four coaches of the Paralympic Bocce of Santa Catarina State, who present a range of knowledge displayed during their professional career. The data were obtained with audio recording, through a semistructured interview. The interpretation of these data was carried out with the analysis of content, using scientific rigor, as a way of adding greater scientific guarantee to the data. The results have emerged for a range of knowledge to support the professional intervention of Paralympic Bocce coaches. This knowledge is aimed at valuing the specific knowledge about the modality investigated, with emphasis mainly on the aspects related to the athletes. With this, the exaltation of the athletes, differentiates the coaches of Bocha, of the coaches of other conventional modalities. Moreover, it should be noted that this knowledge exalts the ability to communicate and to be close to other actors involved in the sports scenario of the sport, due to the motor impairment of these athletes, due to disability. Otherwise, there is a greater appreciation by the coaches for the situations of learning that occurred, mainly in the informal context, preferably characterized, from the situations that occur in the day-to-day of the training and competitions, with the sharing of the information with other coaches and professionals involved in the Paralympic Bocce environment, as well as observation.

Resumen

Cette étude commence par l'édition des "Symbolicae Quaestiones" de Bocchi, fondée sur l'editio princeps de 1555, sur celle, posthume, de 1574, et sur le manuscrit autographe Sloane 3158 de la British Library. Une traduction française est ensuite proposée. La première partie s'attache à définir le portrait que l'ouvrage dresse de son auteur et de son contexte intellectuel et historique. Révélatrice des rapports de Bocchi et de certains illustres contemporains, la dédicace est en ce sens, par les différents jeux littéraires auxquels elle donne lieu, une véritable clé pour l'exégèse de l'emblème. Comme symbolon, lié à une quaestio, l'emblème bocchien est un genre à part, très souple, fondé sur un vaste travail allégorique et symbolique. La richesse des sources littéraires, antiques ou revues par les humanistes, l'ouverture de certaines pièces sur des débats philosophiques contemporains, notamment néo-platoniciens, veulent que le texte soit toujours le point de départ du travail de l'emblématiste, qui a veillé par ailleurs personnellement à l'élaboration des gravures taillées par Giulio Bonasone. La deuxième partie montre la part très importante de la pensée de Cicéron dans le recueil et la pertinence de son utilisation par Bocchi pour répondre à des préoccupations idéologiques caractéristiques de la Renaissance : alliance de la rhétorique et de la sagesse, réconciliation de Platon et Aristote, réflexion sur le rôle et les devoirs du prince, programme de sagesse stoïcienne adaptée aux perspectives chrétiennes. La troisième partie met en lumière la dimension spirituelle de l'œuvre en formulant l'hypothèse d'un cryptage religieux. Pour servir une propagande nicodémiste à caractère réformiste, les symboles païens se muent en signes ambigus qui appellent, de manière détournée, à la conversion vers un christianisme épuré, plus proche des évangiles. Œuvre riche et complexe, ce livre échappe donc aux tentatives de simplification et se révèle une véritable somme humaniste
A critical edition of the Latin text of the "Symbolae Quaestiones" by A. Bocchi opens this study: it is based on the editio princeps of 1555, on the posthumous one of 1574 and on the autograph manuscript Sloane 3158 of the British Library. A French translation follows. This survey first wants to draw the portrait of the author and a view of his intellectual and historical context, as given in the text. It stresses the part of the dedication which is the center of numerous literary games and helps to find out a clue to interpret the emblem. As a symbolon related to a quaestio, the bocchian emblem is a special literary genre of great flexibility and supposes an important work on allegory and symbol. Considering the richness of the literary sources, provided by the antiquity or revised by the humanists, and the contemporary discussions about philosophical problems and pecularly neoplatonic ones, one must always see the text as the starting point of the emblematist's enterprise. In fact Bocchi himself was deeply interested in Bonasone's task, who made the engravings according to his advices. Then the study enhances the very important part that played Cicero’s thought in the conception of Bocchi's work. With its help, Bocchi tries to answer to ideological questions of great importance in the time of the renaissance: which means can be found out to relate rhetoric and wisdom, to reconcile Plato with Aristotle, what can and must the prince do, how is it possible to adapt stoic philosophy to Christian dogmas. This inquiry finally brings to light the spiritual dimension of this work, while making the assumption of its religious encoding. To serve a nicodemic propaganda of reformed thought, pagan symbols are changed into ambiguous signs which lead the reader in a roundabout way to be converted to a christianism which has been cleansed and brought closer to the gospel. As rich as complex, this book baffles all simplifying definition and proves to be a real humanistic summa

Resumen

This dissertation examines the history of VaBocha experiences with Christianity. Historians have long assumed that Christian conversion was a static product. I show that conversion was an ongoing fluid process that churchgoers negotiated, contested, and appropriated to suit the Bocha social fabric. I demonstrate how existing social facts and sites of socialization shaped VaBocha understanding of Christianity. In doing so, I focus on the daily social practices to reveal how VaBocha reconciled the idioms of Christianity with their indigenous lifeways. VaBocha made use of existing sites of socialization to make Christianity useful to their everyday life. These sites were social spaces were VaBocha articulated familial and kinship relations and learned the values, behavior, and skills fitting to Bocha society. By probing the relations occurring at the familial and communal level, the dissertation illustrates that the domestication of Christianity started in familial domestic spaces. In the dissertation, I discuss the nuanced relationships that occurred between churchgoers and family members who were not churchgoers. The fact that Christianity never established hegemony over existing social facts and the ways of socialization which reproduced them meant that VaBocha churchgoers had to devise ways to balance the demands of Christianity against familial and communal obligations. I show why churchgoers became eclectic Christians who participated in both church and indigenous activities and beliefs, despite the fact that the churches condemned most of these indigenous practices. The dissertation shows that the pre-Christian ethics of tolerance of diversity allowed for Christian and indigenous practices to co-exist harmoniously.

Resumen

Tutta la produzione echiana, saggistica e narrativa, si è mossa sempre tra due poli di attrazione, quello della verità e quello della menzogna, con una indubbia fascinazione per la seconda. Partendo dalla commistione problematica di vero/falso presente nei testi letterari (e non solo), Eco, fin da Opera Aperta (1962), ma soprattutto con Sei passeggiate nei boschi narrativi (1994) e Lector in fabula (1979) ha tentato di indagare lo statuto finzionale-veritativo del mondo scritto, le strategie testuali messe in atto dallAutore modello in una determinata storia, le trappole del linguaggio. Problematizzando la relazione tra i mondi possibili della letteratura e il mondo storico di riferimento (ECO, 1994), Eco ci mostra quanto siano labili e permeabili le frontiere di tali mondi e come in essi si sovrappongano, intercambiandosi, le nozioni di vero, verosimile, falso, menzognero. Appaiando allinterno di uno stesso orizzonte ermeneutico i mondi finzionali della letteratura e quelli veri della realtà e della Storia, sulla base di un principio comune che li sottende entrambi, che è il principio di Fiducia, Eco interpreta lintero sistema culturale e storico cui apparteniamo mediante un paradigma semiotico-narrativista, secondo il quale le esperienze umane, attraverso la narrazione, escono dalla loro opacità di fatti bruti e vengono organizzate allinterno di un continuum che le rende parte viva e vitale di una storia/Storia (personale o collettiva che sia). La collisione tra metanarrativa e Storia presente in tutte le sue opere narrative, tra la chiusura dellautoriflessione e lapertura del riferimento alla realtà storica, crea un attrito tale da portare in evidenza il carattere artificiale, metaforico e retorico delle nostre costruzioni culturali e delle stesse narrative storiche. Attraverso i suoi romanzi Eco ci avverte, però, anche del rischio di un regime interpretativo pansemiotico: la realtà, per quanto debole e noumenicamente inattingibile, esiste, è un Limite ontologico (forse anche metafisico?) che impedisce derive ermeneutiche e riscritture falsificanti e aberranti della Storia.
A presente tese propõe-se como uma análise global da multifacetada obra, narrativa e não ficcional, de Umberto Eco, através da lente do Falso, facies mentirosa mas complementar da Verdade, contemplando todas as possíveis declinações.Vai-se, então, da questão da verdade/falsidade na literatura, ou melhor, da relação problemática entre os \"mundos possíveis\" da ficção e os mundos \"verdadeiros\" do mundo histórico de referência ao falso subversivo das imitações paródicas; da \"força\" do falso na História, desde sempre impregnada de mentiras e narrações fabulatórias mas errôneas, que influenciaram o curso de seus eventos, à simulação/dissimulação enganosa e desonesta da manipulação de documentos falsos, como também à psicologia paranóide dos complôs e à deliberada difusão de notícias e informações falsas pela mídia. Nesse sentido, a presente tese tem como objetivo sublinhar a relevância do trabalho echiano, tanto não-ficcional quanto narrativo, a maneira pela qual este solicita formas de reflexão e análise crítica de todo o horizonte da cultura ocidental e suas formas constitutivas, e, acima de tudo, destacar o confronto aberto e problemático que a obra echiana estabelece com a complexidade labiríntica, reticular, polimórfica das sociedades contemporâneas e a pluralidade de saberes que a constituem. O que toda a obra echiana postula e mantém viva e atual é a instância de uma literatura como uma forma de conhecimento e interpretação do mundo, a necessidade de reiterar com urgência a autonomia da linguagem literária (e não apenas) como produtora de espírito crítico, diferenciando-se da linguagem da comunicação que se origina apenas em si e inocula um novo conformismo pós-ideológico, aliás meta-ideológico. Além disso, com este trabalho pretendemos fornecer aos leitores brasileiros algumas chaves úteis para o acesso à obra echiana analisada como um todo (mas sem pretensão de exaustividade), um complexo sistema teórico semiótico-narratológico, com base no qual Eco constrói os dispositivos narrativos de seus sete romances, que são analisados em detalhes aqui. A presente tese configura-se, então, como uma monografia-ensaio sobre um dos mais importantes e reconhecidos intelectuais italianos da época contemporânea, que procura fornecer uma interpretação crítica abrangente de seu trabalho, estimulando sua divulgação para um público mais amplo de estudiosos e leitores brasileiros.

The Paralympic boccia is a challenging sport for the disabled with motor impairment in all four limbs. A group of these athletes, even with the sports practice, remains hampered by oralization inability and lack of communication by other means. Based on Cultural Psychology of Bruner (1997), our goal is to investigate through the narrative of these subjects, considering the importance of being present in the world through communication and do this for yourself, to take the ideas of the fog of thought and outsource them, forming, by the need to organize them and make intelligible to the other, establishing dialogue. It is proposed adjustments in the narrative and subsequent analysis, considering the characteristics of the subjects: communication by translator or computer with adapted keyboard; expressions, sounds and gestures changed by disability; communication (typed) with emphasis on semantics and phonetics deficit (Transposing this oral characteristic for writing). Choice of pictures; and social network analysis of the subject. This made the role of the researcher was of paramount importance to establish links with the subjects, allowing dialogue (Trying NOT Make use of mediator). Aiming to know the life story of people accustomed to be interpreted and not heard and how it is built. It was noticed that the boccia adapted, different than the researcher believed, is not the salvation of a stagnant life, but it is primarily a bridge for socializing and recreation (in meetings before and after games , at time of eat , in travels) , and , second, the athlete's career , bringing his other identity (competitive, warrior , serious, focused). The narrative research allowed to show behind the scenes of research and allowed joint data collection methods have improved dialogue with the subject, showing a mature athlete, intelligent , not as independent as it is believed to be ideal , but as autonomous as possible.
A bocha paral?mpica ? um esporte desafiador para pessoas com defici?ncia com comprometimento motor nos quatro membros. Um grupo desses atletas, mesmo com a pr?tica esportiva, permanece prejudicado pela incapacidade de oraliza??o e falta de comunica??o por outros meios. Baseado na Psicologia Cultural de Bruner (1997) buscou-se investigar atrav?s da narrativa desses sujeitos, considerando a import?ncia de se fazer presente no mundo atrav?s da comunica??o e se fazer presente para si mesmo, ao retirar as ideias da neblina do pensamento e externaliz?-las, dando forma, pela necessidade de organiz?-las e se fazer intelig?vel ao outro, estabelecendo o di?logo. Prop?s-se alternativas na express?o narrativa e posterior an?lise, considerando as caracter?sticas dos sujeitos: comunica??o por tradutor ou computador com teclado adaptado; express?es, sons e gestos alterados pela defici?ncia; comunica??o (digitada) com ?nfase na sem?ntica e d?ficit na fon?tica (transpondo essa caracter?stica oral para a escrita); escolha de fotos; e an?lise da rede social do sujeito. Isso fez com que o papel do pesquisador fosse da maior import?ncia, ao estabelecer v?nculos com os sujeitos, possibilitando o di?logo (tentando n?o fazer uso de mediador), com objetivo de conhecer a hist?ria de vida de pessoas acostumadas a serem interpretadas e n?o ouvidas e como ela se constr?i. Conjecturou-se que a bocha adaptada, diferente do que o se acreditava, n?o ? a salva??o de uma vida estagnada, mas ela ?, primeiramente, uma ponte para a socializa??o e o lazer (nos encontros antes e depois dos jogos, na hora de se alimentar, nas viagens), e, em segundo lugar, a profiss?o do atleta, trazendo sua outra identidade (de competidor, guerreiro, s?rio, compenetrado). A pesquisa narrativa possibilitou mostrar os bastidores deste trabalho e permitiu articular m?todos de coleta de dados que melhoraram o di?logo entre pesquisador e sujeito pesquisado, mostrando um atleta maduro, inteligente, n?o t?o independente como acredita-se ser ideal, mas t?o aut?nomo quanto ? poss?vel.

The boccia is a sport that, although it appeared to meet people with severe cerebral palsy, now allows the participation of other deficiencies, since the athletes are quadriplegic and fall into one of four functional classes of the sport. to date, no studies were found that related to biomechanics of bocce throw and the biomechanics of throw in virtual games, these games, which allow manipulation of the virtual world through real movements. based on these concerns, the objectives of this study are to describe and correlate the kinematic analysis of the upper limb in the throw of the boccia and throw of the bowling kinect sports, microsoft game studios® xbox video game (bowling kx). best throws of 6 subjects were analyzed (3 to bc2 class and 3 to bc4 class) with both the balls of boccia as the bowling kx. to make collections, we designed a kinematic analysis protocol, which has been shown effective for the proposed. the treatment was conducted at images dvideow program, being possible to analyze the elbow and wrist angles as well as the linear velocity of each marker in each frame of the throw. the handle angles showed significant statistically data between the throw made with the boccia and performed on the bowling kx for three subjects, while the elbow angles to only one subject. the results indicate that statistically is not possible to say that the engine manager boccia throw is similar to bowling kx throw, however, the graphics of such throws when analyzed, can indicate some similarities in angulation wrist and elbow. the average linear velocity of the throws was similar for all subjects analyzed. thus, the bowling kx practice can assist in training the linear velocity of throws made in the circumstances of this study.
A bocha adaptada é um esporte que, apesar de ter surgido para atender às pessoas com paralisia cerebral severa, hoje em dia permite a participação de outras deficiências, desde que os atletas sejam tetraplégicos e se enquadrem em uma das quatro classes funcionais da modalidade. até a presente data, não foram encontrados estudos que relacionassem a biomecânica do arremesso da bola de bocha adaptada com a biomecânica do arremesso realizado nos jogos virtuais, jogos estes, que permitem a manipulação do mundo virtual por meio de movimentos reais. partindo dessas inquietações, os objetivos deste estudo são descrever e correlacionar a análise cinemática do membro superior no arremesso da bola de bocha adaptada e no arremesso no jogo de boliche do kinect sports, microsoft game studios® do videogame xbox (boliche kx). foram analisados os melhores arremessos de 6 sujeitos (3, pertencentes a classe bc2 e 3, a classe bc4) tanto com a bola de bocha adaptada quanto no jogo do boliche kx. para realizar as coletas, foi elaborado um protocolo de análise cinemática, que se demonstrou eficiente para o proposto. o tratamento das imagens foi realizado no programa dvideow, sendo possível analisar os ângulos de punho e cotovelo, assim como a velocidade linear de cada marcador, em cada quadro do arremesso. não houve diferença significante entre os ângulos de punho nos arremessos realizados com a bola de bocha adaptada e nos arremessos realizados no jogo do boliche kx para três sujeitos, enquanto os ângulos de cotovelo foram iguais para apenas um sujeito. os resultados obtidos indicam que estatisticamente não é possível afirmar que o gestor motor do arremesso da bola de bocha adaptada é similar ao arremesso do jogo do boliche kx, porém, quando analisados os gráficos de tais arremessos, pode-se indicar algumas semelhanças na angulação do punho e do cotovelo. a média da velocidade linear dos arremessos foi semelhante para todos os sujeitos analisados. dessa forma, a prática do jogo do boliche kx poderá auxiliar no treinamento da velocidade linear dos arremessos realizados nas circunstâncias deste estudo.

Apesar do tema inclusão não ser recente no contexto educacional, nos deparamos com as dificuldades encontradas pelos professores no que diz respeito ao ensino e a aprendizagem dos alunos com Paralisia Cerebral no ambiente escolar. Com embasamento na Teoria da Aprendizagem Significativa de Ausubel, este trabalho teve como objetivo verificar como o Jogo de Bocha adaptado pode auxiliar na aprendizagem significativa de conteúdos matemáticos por alunos com Paralisia Cerebral nas escolas de Educação Básica em Boa Vista/RR. Utilizamos uma abordagem de natureza qualitativa tendo como procedimento técnico o estudo de caso. O universo de estudo foi composto por dois (2) alunos com Paralisia Cerebral que possuíam o conhecimento prévio sobre o jogo de Bocha adaptado e 11 professores de três (3) escolas da Educação Básica de Ensino em Boa Vista/RR, sendo estes três (3) Professores de Matemática, três (3) professores de Educação Física, três (3) professores da sala de Recurso Multifuncional e dois (2) professores Auxiliares dos respectivos alunos. A metodologia de análise foi de natureza descritiva além da técnica de observação realizada durante todo o processo, acompanhado de registros fotográficos e filmagens. Os instrumentos utilizados na pesquisa foram uma entrevista, composta por 16 perguntas direcionadas aos professores, com o intuito de investigar a formação pedagógica destes, especificamente quanto à preparação técnica e pedagógica para a educação inclusiva, bem como o mapeamento dos instrumentos e registros de acompanhamento do aluno com Paralisia Cerebral na área de Matemática, um pré-teste elaborado durante a pesquisa para investigação dos conhecimentos prévios dos alunos e um pós-teste elaborado com intuito de investigar os conhecimentos adquiridos na realização da pesquisa. Os resultados apontam que o jogo utilizado como recurso foi um estímulo para os alunos, não havendo recusa relacionada ao ensino de conteúdos matemáticos e a utilização do jogo como conhecimento prévio, auxilia na aprendizagem significativa de conteúdos matemáticos.

Resumen

Målet med examensarbetet var att utvärdera hur Gustavsberg AB i Vårgårda arbetar för en hållbar utveckling och identifiera utvecklingsmöjligheter. Lönsamhetsanalysen som även gjordes hade som syfte att utröna om företagets miljöinsatser inneburit kostnadsbesparingar. Målet var också att genom intervjuer med personer på företaget och genom rapporten tydliggöra begreppet hållbar utveckling. Rapporten innehåller även en diskussion kring hållbara utvecklingsstrategier och metoder för att utarbeta dessa. Utvärderingen hur företaget arbetar för en hållbar utveckling ur ett socialt och ekologiskt perspektiv var övergripande och utgick från de kriterier Folksam använder i sin årligt återkommande studie, Folksams Index för ansvarsfullt företagande. Kriterierna baseras på Global Compacts tio principer och OECD:s riktlinjer för företag samt Global Reporting Initiative´s (GRI) direktiv. Hur företaget arbetar för en ekonomisk hållbar utveckling har också utvärderats på en övergripande nivå, uteslutande baserad på valda delar i GRI:s direktiv. Gustavsberg AB i Vårgårda har länge och engagerat arbetat för att minska företagets negativa miljöpåverkan. Det har lett till betydande vinster i miljöprestanda. Flera nyckeltal till exempel som kontinuerligt följs upp visar på minskad förbrukning. Inte minst har miljöarbetet lett till utveckling av produkterna. Beräkningen som gjordes i detta arbete med avseende på två av nyckeltalen, vatten och propan, visade att kostnadsbesparingar kunnat göras, exklusive de investeringar företaget gjort för att minska förbrukningen. Utvärderingen visade att Gustavsberg AB i Vårgårda förutom miljöarbetet också enligt det sociala och ekonomiska perspektivet bidrar till en hållbar utveckling. Förbättringar är dock möjliga att göra. Speciellt kan företagets sociala bidrag utvecklas. Men framförallt kan företaget behöva värdera värdet i en hållbarhetsinriktad strategi och se till alla tre dimensionerna av hållbar utveckling. Hållbarhetsarbetet bör behandlas som en del i affärsverksamheten i strävan mot ökad försäljning och minskade kostnader samt ett ansvarsfullt företagande.
