Texto completo
Resumen
We describe a successful implementation of a theorem prover for modal logic S4 that runs on a Java smart card with only 512 KBytes of RAM and 32 KBytes of EEPROM. Since proof search in S4 can lead to infinite branches, this is ``proof of principle`` that non-trivial modal deduction is feasible even on current Java cards. We hope to use this prover as the basis of an on-board security manager for restricting the flow of ``secrets`` between multiple applets residing on the same card, although much work needs to be done to design the appropriate modal logics of ``permission`` and ``obligations``. Such security concerns are the major impediments to the commercial deployment of multi-application smart cards.

Resumen
Letxbe a nilpotent element of an infinite ringR(not necessarily with1). We prove thatA(x)—the two-sided annihilator ofx—has a large intersection with any infinite idealIofRin the sense thatcard(A(x)∩I)=cardI. In particular, cardA(x)=cardR; and this is applied to prove that ifNis the set of nilpotent elements ofRandR≠N, thencard(R\N)≥cardN.

Texto completo
Resumen
200 subjects estimated from memory the actual size of a playing card, rated their manipulative familiarity with cards, and estimated the elapsed-time period since they last handled cards. Size estimates were significantly greater than the card's actual size by about 14%; however, neither manipulative familiarity nor the elapsed-time period was significantly associated with estimates of size or with absolute errors of the size estimates. These findings are consistent with the claim that the reported variability in estimates of the distance of familiar objects, such as a playing card, viewed under otherwise reduced-cue conditions is unlikely to reflect extra-experimental individual differences in manipulative experience with cards.

Resumen
Abstract The aim of this paper is to analyze the use of payment cards in retail in the Czech Republic from the side of clients (buyers) and the side of sellers. Questionnaires for clients examine satisfaction with cards and the service connected with them. Sellers’ satisfaction with the profit and function of cards is analyzed. The data indicated that 92% of the 352 respondents in South Bohemia had a payment card and more than 35% had more than one card. In retail, 70% of sellers had a payment terminal.

Issued in the form of a standardized application, which includes the details like Driving license, Voter Id, Ration Card and Aadhar Card. Sometimes we come across the need of submitting or to show the proof of hardware copy of cards at this time this e-card application which is an safest application used for downloading cards of our necessary. This application also contains OTP generation in which the otp is send to the registered mail id so that we can protect our details from others.

Resumen
The potential space of game designs is astronomically large. This paper shows how game design theories can be translated into a simple, tangible card deck that can assist in the exploration of new game designs within a broader "design space." By translating elements of game design theory into a physical card deck, we enable users to randomly sample a design space in order to synthesize new game design variations for a new play platform ("Lumies"). In a series of iterative design and testing rounds with various user groups, the deck has been optimized to merge relevant game theory elements into a concise card deck with limited categories and clear descriptions. In a small, controlled experiment involving groups of design students, we compare the effects of brainstorming with the card deck or the "Directed Brainstorming" method. We show that the deck does not increase ideation speed but is preferred by participants. We further show that our target audience, children, were able to use the card deck to develop dozens of new game ideas. We conclude that design space cards are a promising way to help adults and children to generate new game ideas by making it easier to explore the game design space.
