The ancestral couple was from the State of Ceará, Brazil, and the genealogical tree was composed of 577 individuals, including 217 males (37.6%), 255 females (44.1%) and 105 individuals of unknown sex (18.1%). The fragmentary nature of the genealogical information is emphasized. Based on the comparative analysis we reveal inaccuracies and mistakes in the historical information transmitted by the memoirists, as well as the presence of myths and legends in their works, which creates difficulties for the reconstruction of the history of the noble family of Plemianikov.
