Frank and Gilovich (1988) found that teams with black uniforms were penalized by referees more than other teams that did not wear black uniforms in the U.S. National Football League (NFL), and the U.S. National Hockey League (NHL). Resumen

The present study aimed to compare the rink hockey performance variables in the top national championships of Spain (OK Liga), Portugal (Primeira Divisao), and Italy (Serie A1). A sample of 1,665 matches corresponding to the OK Liga (654), Primeira Divisao (497), and Serie A1 (514) played between the 2018-2019 and 2020-2021 seasons was analyzed. Like modern baseball or hockey cards, tinsel prints were collectable images of famous actors and actresses produced in nineteenth century England. They could be purchased as singles or in sets of six or four, in colour or in black and white from. Despite the popularity of field hockey very little research has investigated the physical requirements of, and the responses to, a game of field hockey. This study investigated the physiological characteristics of six elite women hockey players, their movement patterns during a game and the accompanying acute physiological responses. Players were chosen from the Victorian State Women's Field Hockey team on the basis of playing positions characterised by a high work-rate.
