Texto completoToday there is limited theories considering reasearch on the postmodern consumtion society from a media and communication perspective. The purpose with this thesis is to investigate the tension between ICA and Univeristy students in a consumption society through analysis brandbuilding communications meaning on digital platforms. The material to the thesis is collected by qualitative interviews, both with employees at ICA and focus groups with university students. With this thesis we want to give an insight of how communication processes strategically is designed to reach their target group, how relationships are nurtured and what a good dialogue means for future brand building. The study has analyzed the tension of what includes the choice of consumption when it comes to retail business from university students perspective. The conclusions indicate how there are a number of factors that are contributing to build a strong relationship with an organization.

Texto completo- Hur framställs kvinnor respektive män i Icas reklamfilmer? Har det skett någon förändring från år 2006 till 2016? Är varorna som visas i reklamfilmerna avsedda för kvinnor, män eller båda? Vi har utgått från teorier som vi anser är relevanta för vår undersökning. Vi har delat in teorierna i tre olika områden: Genus Medier och identitet Reklam och media. För att genomföra undersökningen har vi gjort en kvantitativ innehållsanalys på 15 olika reklamfilmer. Vi har avgränsat oss till reklamfilmer som har visats på TV under tre olika högtider i Sverige: jul, midsommar och påsk. Vi har sedan gjort en kvalitativ innehållsanalys på fem filmer som vi anser lockar fram olika stereotyper. Resultatet vi fann i vår undersökning var att männen dominerar i ICAs reklamfilmer, och med det menar vi att det bland annat är fler manliga karaktärer som är med och har en slags ledarroll. Vårt resultat skiljer sig något mot vad teorierna kring ämnet påstår, nämligen att kvinnor ofta dominerar reklambranschen.
Abstract The purpose of our survey was to study the gender perspective in ICA's commercials. We have specified whether the male or female gender appears more or less in the movies, if there has been any change in gender perspective from 2006 to 2016 and if the items featured in the movies are more or less directed to any of the sexes. We have limited ourselves to commercials that have been shown on television during three different festivals in Sweden: Christmas, Midsummer and Easter. Question:
- How are women and men produced in Ica's commercials? Has there been any change from 2006 to 2016? Are the items shown in the commercials intended for women, men or both? We have assumed theories that we consider relevant to our survey. We have divided the theories into three different areas: Gender Media and identity Advertising and the media. In order to conduct the survey, we have made a quantitative content analysis of 15 different commercials. We have limited ourselves to commercials that have been shown on television during three different festivals in Sweden: Christmas, Midsummer and Easter. We have then made a qualitative content analysis on five films that we consider attracting different stereotypes. The result we found in our survey was that the men dominate ICA's commercials, and we mean that among other things there are more male characters that are in and have a sort of leadership role. Our results differ slightly from the theory of the subject, namely that women often dominate the advertising industry.

Texto completoSyftet med detta arbete är att genom en diskursanalys kartlägga hur språkbruket fungerar i övertalningen hos ICA-Stig ‒ en av de mest folkkära karaktärerna från ICA:s reklamsåpa. Med språket som utgångspunkt kan denna analys bidra till förklaringen varför tv-tittarna litar på ICA-Stig och hur han får dem att vilja handla på just ICA. Studien tar avstamp i tre utgångspunkter där retorikens medel för övertalning, ethos, logos och pathos, tas i beaktande jämte hur ICA-Stig begår en språklig intimisering med tittarna, samt utnyttjar intertextuella strategier för att närma sig deras verklighet. Resultatet visar att ICA-Stig tillämpar intimisering genom att bruka pronomen på ett sådant sätt att såväl tittare som medarbetare tilltalas familjärt. Intertextuellt kan ICA-Stig sägas utnyttja olika diskursmöten till sin fördel för att samtidigt nå en bred kundkrets och värna det intima, samt visa på sin trovärdighet. Genom språket tänjer han på gränserna mellan fiktion och fakta, och kan i sin diegesöverskridande roll sägas vara en faktiv karaktär ‒ varken overklig eller verklig. Faktionen gör det möjligt för ICA-Stig att visa självmedvetenhet, vilket ger distans till reklambranschen. Retoriskt sett, har intimiseringen och intertextualiteten funktionen av att låta Stig anknyta till publikens verklighet, vanor och erfarenheter. Det skapar förutsättningar så att reklamen grundas på premissen att Pappa ICA-Stig har något att berätta för sin ICA-familj. Intimiseringen ger ICA-Stig ethos eftersom han bevisar att han är en trygg och vårdande fadersgestalt, såväl som kunnig butikschef. Anspelningar till pathos finns i hans vårdande språkbruk. Logosargumenten ligger i varornas produktplacering i en verklighetsnära vardagsmiljö. Avslutningsvis problematiserar uppsatsen reklamens plats och funktion i samhället utifrån det faktum att reklamens diskurs närmar sig privatlivets diskurs och på så sätt dels kan påverka konsumenterna på helt andra sätt, dels bli en än större del i samhället och dess vardag.

Texto completoIf business regulation is overwhelming, the success of starting a business lies more in the contacts of the new entrepreneur than in their own capacities. On the contrary, if the regulations are accessible and easy to perform, anyone with talent and good ideas can be able to create and develop a formal company. In this sense, the present quantitative descriptive research aims to identify the time and cost gap between the normed processes (cabinet study), what actually happens (interviews) and measure the ease of doing business in the city of Ica. For this purpose, the current public documentation was reviewed and compared to interviews with businessmen, representatives of public institutions in the city of Ica to obtain the time and cost gaps of each process. The methodology used was the one of the "Doing Business" World Bank, of which the following pillars of study were taken, whose result obtained to start a business in the city of Ica were: a) Starting a business; has to accomplish with 16 procedures, takes 128 days, costs 20.02% of per capita income, presented a gap of 38 days and 452 Soles, b)Construction permits; has to accomplish with 16 procedures, takes 209 days, costs 2.26% of the value of the property, presented a gap of 15 days and 861 Soles, c) Obtaining electricity; has to accomplish 10 procedures, takes 47 days, costs 125.09% of per capita income, presented a gap of six days and 6,001 Soles, d)Registered ownership; has to comply with eight procedures, takes 36 days, costs 5.92% of the value of the property, presented a gap of nine days and 2,094 Soles, e)Contract fulfillment; has to accomplish with three procedures, takes 622 days, costs 24.9% of the value demanded, presented a gap of 242 days and 1,500 soles. Texto completoUppsatsen behandlar ICA:s egna märkesvaror (EMV) och dess senaste satsning på lokalproducerat: ”Smak på lokalt”. I uppsatsen undersöks hur ICA kan förstärka sitt varumärke genom just EMV och lokalproducerat.
Kvalitativa intervjuer har genomförts med olika personer inom ICA-koncernen, dessa personer har valts ut utifrån deras expertisområden; EMV, Sortiment & Inköp, Kategori och ”Smak på lokalt”.
Resultatet visar på att ICA arbetar aktivt med att stärka lojaliteten till företaget, dess varumärke samt att öka kundlojaliteten. Detta sker genom kontinuerlig lansering av nya produkter, unika produktlinjer samt satsningen ”Smak på lokalt” som har visat sig vara mycket framgångsrik. ICA:s senaste EMV satsning; ICA I Love Eco har även den fått mycket positiv respons.
ICA är noggranna med kvalitetssäkring av deras produkter och kräver att producenterna skall använda sig av ICA, godkänd standard. ICA försöker ständigt att förbättra kvalitén och priset på sina produkter för att öka kundlojaliteten till EMV. Satsningen på ”Smak på lokalt” har flera utgångspunkter. Det handlar om att man möter olika behov hos konsumenten, bra erbjudanden som kan stärka varumärket.

Texto completoIca is one of the Peruvian regions with the highest growth and development in the last 30 years. The economic, social, demographic and cultural indicators prove it. In the same way the Ica region seeks that this bonanza is sustainable in the future and that growth continues in a sustained way or even greater. To achieve this, the Ica region has been based on 4 fundamental economic pillars: (1) The extractive industry through the liquefied petroleum gas that comes from the Cusco region and the iron extracted from Marcona. (2) The manufacturing industry that relies on the agroindustry exports and cotton garments. (3) The agricultural industry that leads the country with products such as asparagus, avocado, grapes, mangoes, blueberries, among many others. (4) Finally, the fishery, which is strengthened by the contribution in fish flour and canned fish. The objective of this strategic plan is to determine what is Ica today and how we want it to be in 10 years (Proposal 2027), and based on this diagnosis or current photo, establish long-term objectives that through clear and measurable strategies can reach this expected future situation. The Ica region has everything to make this a reality: it is strategically located in the center of the Peruvian coast with access to the sea, with a population of skilled and semi-skilled labor attractive to investors, close by land to Lima and very soon with the whole nation and even internationally with the construction of the international airport of Pisco, very fertile agricultural land despite being in the desert with modern irrigation technology, excellent weather all year round, among many other fortresses. The proposal of the strategic plan will be to promote those industries of which we are leaders and which are the most profitable as the export of asparagus and avocado, but also activate (under a profitability rationale) the tourism industry, especially the adventure tourism in our region, which is not only very profitable but will bring sustainable benefit to the entire region.

Texto completoLogistics is that part of a company that affects the company’s efficiency in a considerable way. The customer has demands on the product to have it delivered on a specific date and if the product isn’t delivered on that date the consequences may result in a loss of a customer and therefore a loss of income. To be able to deliver the product on the specific date to the customer there’s a couple of processes that need to work flawlessly together and that a well worked out system is implemented. This report is written at ICA Sverige AB’s central warehouse is Kungälv, Sweden. It surrounds the subject of efficiency in warehousing and usage of lift trucks. Thru minimizing the driving distance of the lift trucks and eliminating not-value processes you can create a more efficient warehouse. I’ve gathered information regarding average distance per completed order and information regarding which of the warehouse aisles is the busiest to get an insight in where the problem is and why it has occurred. Zone-picking is a method that is known to minimize lift truck distances in a warehouse. An implementation of this method at ICA is facilitated by the fact that the articles already are sorted in a way that the first ten aisles are filled with plastic crates. It’s a method that not only minimizes the lift truck distances but also make the material handling more efficient. The theory part of the report is done to get a bigger insight in the subject of logistics but also to find and mention methods that affect the logistics in a company. Different types of material handling methods, storage methods and article placement methods are examples of methods describe. The analyzing part of the report has been done to connect mentioned theories to main problems that the report is surrounding but also includes reflections and thoughts about why the theories have been used. The report has been written at ICA Sverige AB’s central warehouse in Kungälv and has been focused on the fresh food compartment of the warehouse where problems with long distances for the lift trucks has occurred.

Texto completoThis document arises from the appearance of inadequate social housing in Ica, for not responding to the user's lifestyle and for not understanding their economic development over time. The state, through private companies, seeks to solve the existing demand for housing by presenting a standardization of housing modules to speed up their construction and reach the established goals. Basic modules built with the option of expanding them over time are delivered, however, the modules delivered do not usually understand the immediate context where they are located nor do they understand the lifestyle of families causing an additional investment despite being able to expand them in over time, because residents, by expanding them, try to mold these modules with their identity, testing informal and sometimes risky solutions, demonstrating the disinterest of the state and private companies for the reality of the user and their economic development. This research was done to demonstrate the importance of understanding the human being, to understand his reality, and to specify that the architect has an important social role in improving people's lives.

When investigating more about the needs and problems of the city, the great demand of national visitors, residents and foreigners to sectors whose characteristics are linked to the lack of cultural infrastructure comes to the fore. Then the excessive number of students in educational institutions in relation to the number of colleges, universities, institutes, etc. This information will be reflected in the multi-annual investment proposal of the Ministry of Culture, which proposes the development of a Cultural Center in Ica, linked to solving the 2 problems with greater demand. For this reason, this typology is proposed that addresses a program consistent with the lack of environments that the institutions near the project have, as well as the feasibility to link a cultural route, which offers exhibition halls belonging to archaeological remains of Paracas, where currently They are exhibited in buildings not suitable for conservation. Under these circumstances it is how the project will be developed, fulfilling a role that links the ties of the Iqueña identity, as well as being a pioneer in setting guidelines on the correct location, sunning systems, materiality through mimesis with the environment, etc. Being a starting point to make architecture designed for the place.

Texto completoThe patent developed by Dr. L. John [1] allows for the the detection of deep muscle activation through the combination of specially positioned monopolar surface Electromyography (sEMG) electrodes and a Blind Source Separation algorithm. This concept was then proved by Morowasi and John [2] in a 12 electrode prototype system around the bicep. This proof of concept showed that it was possible to extract the deep tissue activity of the brachialis muscle in the upper arm, however, the effect of surface electrode positioning and effectual number of electrodes on signal quality is still unclear. The hope of this research is to extend this work. In this research, a genetic algorithm (GA) is implemented on top of the Fast Independent Component Analysis (FastICA) algorithm to reduce the number of electrodes needed to isolate the activity from all muscles in the upper arm, including deep tissue. The GA selects electrodes based on the amount of significant information they contribute to the ICA solution and by doing so, a reduced electrode set is generated and alternative electrode positions are identified. This allows a near optimal electrode configuration to be produced for each user. The benefits of this approach are: 1.The generalized electrode array and this algorithm can select the near optimal electrode arrangement with very minimal understanding of the underlying anatomy. 2. It can correct for small anatomical differences between test subjects and act as a calibration phase for individuals. As with any design there are also disadvantages, such as each user needs to have the electrode placement specifically customised for him or her and this process needs to be conducted using a higher number of electrodes to begin with.

Syfte: Vårt syfte med den här studien är att undersöka, beskriva och förklara om det går att utläsa olika hierarkier och maktutövning i organisationens interna kommunikation och ledarskap.
Teori: Den teoretiska bakgrunden handlar om intern kommunikation, ledarskap och makt i organisationssammanhang.
Metod: Kvalitativa intervjuer, semistrukturerade som följer en intervjuguide i samtalsform.
Empiri: ICA Kvantum som är en livsmedelsbutik där empirin är hämtad från kvalitativa intervjuer.
Slutsatser: I denna ICA Kvantum butik råder en vertikal hierarki med demokratiska ledare där cheferna uppmuntrar till samarbete och tillhörighet. Chefen har det största ansvaret och därmed mest makt. Dock är det ledarskapet som avgör om den interna kommunikationen uppfattas positivt.

Texto completoKonsumtionen har under de senaste årtiondena ökat drastiskt. Till viss del kan den ökade konsumtionen förklaras i den ökade folkmängden i världen, men än mer är ökningen relaterad till att vi människor har förändrat vårt konsumtionsmönster. För att skapa en hållbar konsumtion krävs att konsumenterna handlar på ett mer miljömedvetet sätt. Marknadsföring är en av flera faktorer som har kommit att skuldsättas för jordens miljöförstöring. Mycket visar på att marknadsföringen spelat en central roll vid grundandet av den ohållbara konsumtionen och därmed också varit en stor bidragande faktor till miljöproblemen vi har idag. Även om marknadsföringen kan anses ha grundat för den ohållbara konsumtionen och varit en bidragande faktor till miljöproblemen som vi har idag, argumenterar forskare för att marknadsföringen på ett motsvarande sätt kan vara lösningen till miljöproblemen.
I och med att samhället har kommit att bli allt mer miljömedvetet har en ökad press på de större företagen uppdagats. Det finns numera ett tryck från allmänheten om att företag skall vara miljövänliga och utveckla miljövänligare produkter för att bevara en renare, hälsosammare och en rikare miljö för konsumenterna och de nästkommande generationerna. Antalet företag som i dagsläget visar sitt engagemang för miljöfrågor upplever vi också har ökat. Detta engagemang yttrar sig delvis i företagens marknadsföring vilken benämns som ”grön marknadsföring” och definieras som ”en organisations insatser att bevara och därmed inte skada miljön genom design, prissättning, distribution och marknadsföring”. Ett verktyg inom den gröna marknadsföringen som används flitigt är ekologisk märkning. Ett företag som tillämpat och utvecklat ekologisk märkning i sitt sortiment är ICA som nyligen lanserade sitt ekologiska varumärke ICA I love eco.
Den huvudsakliga frågan som vi ställer oss är huruvida reklambudskapet når konsumenterna. Vårt huvudsakliga syfte med studien är att redogöra för konsumenters uppfattningar kring ICA:s ekologiska reklamkampanj om ICA I love eco.
De teoretiska huvudområdena som vi tillämpat för denna studie är: grön marknadsföring, kommunikationsprocessen, kommunikationskanaler, framgångsrik reklam, attityder och utvärdering av reklam.
Studien har genomförts genom en surveyundersökning, detta eftersom vi ämnar göra är en form av marknadsundersökning där vi strävar efter att kunna standardisera informationen och använda mer än en metod för att samla in den. Vi genomförde även en förstudie i form av en intervju till vilken vi valde att tillämpa en kvalitativ metod. Syftet med förstudien handlade om tolka och uppfatta vilket budskap och syfte ICA hade med reklamkampanjen.
Resultatet från studien visar att både personliga fördelar och miljömässiga fördelar skulle, med framgång, kunna framhävas genom reklamkommunikationen för att påverka fler kunder till att få en positiv respons till reklamen och varumärket. Detta skulle även kunna öka troligheten att kunder utför den avsiktliga handlingen med reklam och köper varor från ICA I love eco sortimentet.

Texto completoThe total energy consumption in Sweden reached 457 TWh in the year of 1970, and today is 600 TWh. It shows how our use has increased recently and that we should do something about it. The whole chain from energy production to energy use needs to be more efficient. A study conducted by ICA Fastighet AB shows an average energy use among grocery stores of 421 kWh/m2 year. ICA Kvantum Kronoparken in Umeå has a specific energy use of 658 kWh/m2 year, it shows that the energy use is high and above the mean average. The project aims is to conduct a case study at ICA Kvantum Kronoparken in Umeå by mapping the total energy use by the selected energy use categories in the shop. Furthermore, investigate various alternatives to replace the electric boiler which supplies the building with heat today. Today, the property has a total energy use of 2 237 MWh/year in a heated area of 3 400 m2. The analysis was conducted by separating the total energy use in seven main categories. By doing that it is easy to find the categories of high energy efficiency potential. Separation as follow: Lights Ventilation Heating Food cooling Comfort cooling Hot water Operational electricity After completing the case study it showed that food cooling is responsible for approximately 42 % of total energy use, and also there you have the highest potential in saving energy and money. Other major users are area operational electricity which accounts for 21 % and includes all other equipment and use in addition to the above categories. The areas where energy efficiency measures were possible are lights, ventilation and cooling food. After these measures a given potential of the total energy use reduction by 20 % from 2 237 MWh/year down to 1 818 MWh/year. District heating and geothermal heating are the heat sources which best could replace the existing electric boiler. District heating has a lower investment cost and higher annual cost than geothermal heat, which is the opposite. Both have a payback period of 4-6 years which is considered as viable. The project focused on the property heating system, which only represents 7 % of total use. That compares to cooling food which represent 42 %. If the project was focused on food cooling rather than the heating system greater savings may has become possible. A recommendation for the future is to explore the cooling food system more, and also study and explore if free cooling is possible in winter. Today is not used, and it may be one of many factors that make the property’s energy use so high.

El objetivo es desarrollar ventajas competitivas en esta provincia, a partir de la correcta identificación de sus fortalezas y del potencial de la organización, para lo cual se definió la visión, que se basa en mejoras en el Índice de Desarrollo Humano y en el Índice de Progreso Social. Para esto habrá que incrementar la producción en distintos sectores económicos; principalmente, en la agroindustria, la pesca y el turismo. A nivel interno, la provincia de Ica tiene diversas fortalezas, entre las que destaca el potencial de desarrollo comercial y la presencia de centros turísticos y culturales. En cambio, entre las debilidades se tiene el bajo grado de inversión para la actividad comercial y empresarial, y el crecimiento desorganizado. A partir de las fortalezas que actualmente se tienen, se identificó el potencial de la organización y su capacidad de generar ventajas competitivas, que se complementan con la conformación de un clúster agroindustrial y otro turístico. The document presents the strategic planning for the province of Ica, developed for the period 2016-2026, based on the Sequential Model of Strategic Process (D'Alessio, 2015). The objective is to work out the competitive advantages of this province, based on the correct identification of its strengths and the potential of the organization, for which the vision was defined, based on the improvements in the Human Development Index, as well as in the Social Progress Index. To this end, the production in different economic sectors should increase, but mainly in agribusiness, fisheries and tourism. Internally, the province of Ica has several strengths, among which the potential for commercial development and the presence of tourist and cultural centers stand out. On the other hand, among the weaknesses are the low degree of investment for commercial and business activity; and the disorganized growth. Based on the current strengths, the organization’s potential and its ability to generate competitive advantages are identified, which are complemented by the formation of an agribusiness cluster and a tourist cluster. Private consumption is encouraged due to the opportunities for economic growth, along with the increase in investment and the international promotion of cultural and gastronomic tourism. But there are also threats, such as the economic slowdown and the low level of research and development, among others

In the first instance, the place, the land and the area where the project will be located, its evolution and the importance of the location of the project are studied in order to take it as a starting point for both the concept and location of the program. Then the aspects of the "new" Museology to be incorporated in the project will be studied. Likewise, a study of the user, who, together with the exhibitions, are the reason for its creation. Referential and material projects will also be analyzed, which are important at the time of projecting, in order to compare and innovate with the project itself. Finally, taking into account all the previously identified aspects, together with the established norms and regulations, an innovative architectural program can be proposed and then the design process for the project will begin.

Texto completoTiivistelmä Konsepti lepotilan tutkimisesta toiminnallisella magneettikuvauksella (engl. functional magnetic resonance imaging, fMRI) on rakentunut vuonna 1995 tehdylle löydökselle aivopuoliskojen välillä synkronisesta signaalivaihtelusta. Mittaukset perustuvat veren hapetuksen muutoksiin, jotka epäsuorasti heijastelevat hermostollista toimintaa. Tämän takia toiminnallisen kytkennällisyyden muodot, lepotilaverkostot, ovat olleet laajasti väitelty tutkimusaihe ja monia verkostoihin vaikuttavia tekijöitä onkin tunnistettu. Nykykäsityksen mukaan signaalivaihtelut lepotilassa heijastelevat järjestelmän yhtenäisyyden ylläpitoa spontaanin ajattelun ja toiminnan lisäksi. Suosittu menetelmä toiminnallisen kytkennällisyyden tutkimiseen lepotilan fMRI:ssä on spatiaalinen itsenäisten komponenttien analyysi (engl. independent component analysis, ICA), joka hajottaa signaalilähteet tilastollisesti itsenäisiin komponentteihin. Aivotoiminnan mallintamisessa kahtiajaolla toiminnalliseen erikoistumiseen ja toiminnalliseen integraatioon on vastaavuus fMRI-tutkimukseen, jossa lepotilaverkostot vastaavat toiminnallisen integraation näkökulmasta. Vaikka kanoniset lepotilaverkostot ovat laaja-alaisia, ne ovat toisaalta modulaarisia, jota voidaan tutkia tutkimalla korkean komponenttimäärän ICA-hajotelmaa. Korkea- dimensioisen ICA-hajotelman ominaisuuksia tutkitaan laajasti tässä väitöskirjassa. Kestoaihe lepotilatutkimuksessa on ollut analyysiä hankaloittavien kohinalähteiden kuten liikkeen ja kardiorespiratoristen prosessien vaikutus. Väitöskirjassa tutkitaan ICA:n kykyä erotella kohinalähteitä ’default mode’ -verkostosta, joka on merkittävin lepotilaverkosto. Lisäksi tutkitaan ICA:n soveltuvuutta täyden taajuuskaistan analysointiin, joka on verrattain harvinaista biosignaalien analyysissä. Väitöskirjan tulokset tukevat näkemystä ICA:n suorituskyvystä toiminnallisen kytkennällisyyden analyysissä. Kardiorespiratorinen ja liikkeestä lähtöisin oleva kohina ei häirinnyt merkittävästi ICA-tuloksia. Texto completoPurpose: The purpose of this thesis is to investigate if and how the presence of Fairtrade promotion can change the attitude towards the stores, ICA and Lidl. Background: People‟s attitude towards the brand Fairtrade is predominantly positive and by providing these socially beneficial products, stores wish to strengthen their brand image by communicating their social responsibility through the message of Fairtrade. Previous research has shown that the socially responsible actions of a company can result in an enhanced brand attitude, but also in some cases, the actions taken have had a diminished effect on the attitude towards a brand. It is therefore of interest to research which stores that can gain from Fairtrade promotions in terms of an improved attitude towards the brand. Method: To answer the purpose, a mixed method sequential explanatory design was applied, by collecting quantitative data from an experiment, and qualitative data from a follow-up interview. The emphasis was put on the quantitative phase, where four different experimental groups were manipulated with different internet advertisement; ICA and Lidl, with the presence and absence of Fairtrade promotion. Conclusion: The outcome of the study signified that the attitude towards Lidl was somewhat negative with the absence of Fairtrade and declined with the presence of Fairtrade promotion while the attitude towards ICA did not change regardless of promotion. The results indicate that Fairtrade can not be successfully used as a system of changing brand attitude of a store, if customers do not consider it to be congruent with the initial brand image. It is supported that consistency is the key to success for a brand to be believable and enhance the brand attitude.

Texto completoThrough interaction with customers, companies can acquire knowledge about- and satisfy the needs of customers. In retailing, the ranges of products are standardized and staffing numbers are scarce. How do companies in retailing deal with adaptation towards their customers given the small staffing numbers? The purpose of this study is to examine if and if so, how companies in the Swedish retailing industry are making adaptations towards their customers and also why these adaptations are being made. To answer this purpose, observations in the retailing industry are conducted and the results show that companies adapt to customers’ needs. However, this is not done through personalization. Finally, this study shows that companies in the retailing industry adapt to their customers mainly through mass-customization.
Genom interaktion med kunder kan företag skaffa sig kunskap om kundernas behov och tillgodose dessa. Inom dagligvaruhandeln är sortimenten standardiserade och personalstyrkan liten, något som torde missgynna interaktionen mellan parterna. Hur arbetar företag i dagligvaruhandeln med anpassningar till sina kunders behov när personaltätheten är förhållandevis låg? Syftet med studien är att undersöka om och i sådana fall hur ett företag inom den svenska dagligvaruhandeln anpassar sig till sina kunders behov, samt varför detta sker. För att besvara syftet görs observationer inom dagligvaruhandeln och resultaten visar att anpassning görs, dock ej personlig anpassning till enskilda kunders behov. Avslutningsvis visar studien att anpassning sker inom dagligvaruhandeln och att detta främst sker genom massanpassning.

Texto completoAvsikten med arbetet är att undersöka om Junibackens sätt att rekrytera i grupp (det vill säga flera kandidater och flera representanter från företaget vid samma tillfälle) är tillämpningsbart i rekryteringsprocessen av traineer på ICA och då i vilken utsträckning. Att rekrytera i grupp har fått allt större utrymme och metoden har gett positiva effekter. På Junibacken har man lyckats sänka personalomsättningen och samtidigt få medarbetarna mer delaktiga och engagerade. ICA använder det vanliga förfarandet vid rekrytering av traineer. (det vill säga en kandidat och en rekryterare alternativt en kandidat och flera representanter från företaget). Rekrytering till denna typ av tjänst är annorlunda i jämförelse med tillsättning av en vanlig tjänsteman på grund av att man vid rekrytering av traineer letar efter en person som är gångbar inom flera olika områden och som har en speciell potential. Med denna bakgrund anser jag att arbetets syfte är relevant och intressant.
För att kunna göra detta genomförde jag två fallstudier, dels på Junibacken, som rekryterar i grupp och dels på ICA, som använder det vanliga sättet vid rekrytering av traineer. För att få en bredare förståelse för hur rekryteringsprocesserna såg ut på respektive företag intervjuade jag personer med stor inblick inom området: personalansvariga på respektive företag samt en anställd på Junibacken och en blivande trainee på ICA.
Som teoretisk ram använde jag mig av relevant litteratur som behandlar rekryteringsprocessen. Jag har även använt mig av artiklar som ett komplement till litteraturen för att få en djupare förståelse och bredd.
Genom undersökningen kom jag fram till att Junibackens sätt att rekrytera på till viss del är tillämpningsbart vid rekryteringsprocessen av traineer på ICA, då främst när det gäller medarbetarnas engagemang och delaktighet i urvalsprocessen. De kan till exempel inneha en informativ roll eller medverka i beslutsprocessen av vem som ska få tjänsten. Jag tror inte att det är lämpligt att genomföra intervjuer med flera kandidater samtidigt.

Texto completoThe main objective of the strategic plan of the Ica region is to establish the strategies that will allow it to reach its long-term vision, that is, to be recognized as the main agroexporter of asparagus, avocado and grape, and one of the main destinations for tourism in Peru. To achieve this, it is necessary that in the short term we work on the road network of the region and the logistics infrastructure, the quality of life of the population, the overcoming of water problems, the ordering and migration of unprofitable crops to profitable crops. After analyzing the current situation of the Ica region and an internal and external evaluation, opportunities and threats were identified that affect the external environment and strengths and weaknesses that must be worked internally. Based on these, strategies were generated to reach the vision of the Ica region in 2027. Through the SWOT analysis, 28 strategies were developed, of which 12 were retained and 13 were kept for contingency. In order to achieve the vision, five Long Term Objectives were proposed, aimed at increasing the export of avocado, grape and asparagus, and exploiting the tourist attraction of the region. The Long Term Objectives were disaggregated into 36 Short Term Objectives, which seek to meet goals that will be subsequently measured through the Balanced Scorecard. Finally, the Ica region has agricultural and tourist potential, which must be exploited in order to benefit the population, and serve as engines for the economic growth of the region, making it one of the most developed regions of Peru

As a result of the objectives, an architecture is planned that is organized into two functional macro packages that resolve the journey of permanent and temporary users, which are connected by circulation axes and are located according to topography oriented according to the best view and solar path.

Texto completoEl plan estratégico para la región Ica tiene como objetivo fundamental establecer las estrategias que le permitan a Ica llegar a ser una de las primeras regiones competitivas del país, para lograr a corto plazo ser una región integrada social y económicamente, orientada a mejorar constantemente la calidad de vida de su población, para superar plenamente los problemas hídricos que padece en la actualidad, contando con operadores logísticos de primer nivel que le permitan satisfacer las necesidades del sector productivo, contribuyendo a la competitividad de la economía y a la eficiencia de la infraestructura de transporte existente, en favor de la región misma y de las regiones limítrofes, mediante una gestión pública eficiente y confiable, para atraer inversión productiva nacional y extranjera a todo nivel, replanteando las actividades económicas tradicionales y fomentando la formación de clústeres. Para la realización del presente estudio se empleó el modelo de Planeamiento Estratégico elaborado por el profesor D'Alessio. Luego del análisis de la situación actual de la región y de una evaluación externa e interna, basados en la visión proyectada al año 2025 y se establecieron cinco Objetivos de Largo Plazo (OLP). Inmediatamente, a partir de la utilización de la matriz de Fortalezas, Oportunidades, Debilidades y Amenazas (FODA) se generaron 13 estrategias, las cuales pasaron por diversos filtros, matrices que han servido para evaluar estas estrategias, sintetizadas finalmente en ocho estrategias generales. Para la implementación estratégica se han planteado 18 Objetivos de Corto Plazo (OCP) y 23 políticas de acción que permitirán a la región lograr los OLP y alcanzar la visión planteada. Finalmente se puede establecer que la región Ica tiene mucho potencial para consolidar su posición como uno de los líderes del Indice Competitividad Regional de CENTRUM Católica para el 2025, por lo que se considera que para esa fecha, Ica deberá ser la región más competitiva del país, solo por debajo de Lima.
The strategic plan for the region of Ica mainly aims at establishing the strategies that shall allow it to be one of the top competitive regions in the country and lead it to reach integrity - socially and economically speaking- in the short term. This means, it shall be oriented to constantly improve the quality of life of its population by fully overcoming the hydric problems it is currently suffering from and using cutting edge logistic operators allowing it to meet the needs of the productive sector. Therefore, all this shall contribute to the competitiveness of the economy and the efficiency of the transport infrastructure in favour of the region and its surroundings. What is more, this shall be reached through an efficient and confident public administration to attract domestic and international productive investment at all levels, reformulating the traditional economic activities and promoting the creation of clusters. Furthermore, the Strategic Planning model by professor D’Alessio was used to carry out this study. After analysing the current situation of the region as well as its external and internal assessment, five Long Term Objectives (LTO) were established, based on the view projected for 2025. Immediately after, 13 strategies were determined by using the SWOT matrix, all of which passed through different filters. Such process served to assess those options that were, therefore, synthetized in eight general strategies. As a result, 18 Short Term Objectives (STO) and 23 action policies have been planned for the strategic implementation, this shall allow the region to reach the LTO´s and the planned view. Finally, we can say that the region of Ica has got a lot of potential to consolidate itself as one of the leaders of the Regional Competitive Index of CENTRUM Catolica for 2025. All in all, by that time, Ica will be the most competitive region in the country right after Lima.

Texto completoThe aim of this research is to calculate the Social Progress Index of the province of Ica-Lima region during 2019. The study focused on four areas defined by their location and geographical area. A total of 384 surveys conducted on each Head of household and secondary source information were used to prepare 53 indicators that display social and environmental information. According to the Social Progress Imperative methodology, the score of the zones and province of Ica were calculated in the twelve components and three dimensions that make up the SPI. The province of Ica obtained 61.99 points so it is located in the medium low level. Zone I of the district of Ica registered the highest score 65.10 at the medium high level, followed by Zone III with 62.62 points, Zone II with 60.88 points and Zone IV with 59.35 points, all of them located at the medium low level. The Basic Human Needs dimension registered the highest score despite the dispersion of water, and basic sanitation and the low level of personal safety. The Foundations of well-being dimension shows poor performance in access to information and telecommunications, and environmental sustainability. The Opportunities dimension shows dispersion between areas in access to higher education, and there are weaknesses in personal rights and freedoms. The results reflect that the province of Ica is above the regional average of Ica. However, weaknesses and disadvantages are found in areas that require attention. The research serves as a tool to redouble effort to make determined and equitable public policies, redirect investment and close existing gaps in the province of Ica.
