Since the discovery of Viral Hemorrhagic Septicemia (VHS) in the Great Lakes in 2005, the assessment of its ability to spread amongst connected watersheds has been at the forefront of VHS management. Trabajo de investigación en el que se han estudiado las declaraciones de un grupo de hablantes latinos sobre una identidad onstruida a caballo entre dos culturas, la de origen y la de acogida, y sobre el papel que desempeña el conocimiento de la lengua española en dicha construcción identitaria. A traves de entrevistas semi estructuradas nuestro estudio define cuáles son las representaciones que un grupo de alumnos y profesores hispanos posee sobre aquellos aspectos individuales y colectivos propios de los latinos en los Estados Unidos.

A number of time series studies provide evidence that air pollution levels are associated with daily death counts. Most of these studies explain these associations by using Poisson log-linear regression models, after allowing for possible confounders. However, the findings of these time series studies suffer from several problems, of which the most significant is conflicting results from different approaches to model selection.
