Resumen
The two purposes of this study were to shorten the Craig Lipreading Inventory without affecting its reliability and validity and to establish normative data on the revised version. The full inventory was administered to 75 children. By item analysis, half of the items were selected to comprise the brief version; both versions were administered to another group of 75 children. Scores on the two versions correlated (.91 and .92, respectively, for Word Forms A and B and .97 and .95, respectively, for Sentence Forms A and B), thereby substantiating the construct validity of the briefer version. There was significantly high intertest reliability for the Word Forms (.80) and Sentence Forms (.82) of the briefer inventory. Normative data were computed for each age group. This briefer version is a temporally efficient tool for evaluating lipreading ability of children.

Resumen
The situation related to the primary documents and the structure of their forms for accounting for intangible assets needs to be resolved. The existence of a number of options for the use of forms of primary documents for accounting for intangible assets, which complicates the documentation process, as the primary forms are partially collected and regulated by several laws and regulations. The need to streamline and summarize the primary documents for accounting for intangible assets and goodwill is emphasized, the order of which should be regulated by a single document. It is recommended to implement the Guidelines for the use of forms of primary accounting of intangible assets and goodwill, with a set of relevant details, which should include documents that will reflect all groups of intangible assets, not just those related to intellectual property. Emphasis was placed on the need to develop primary documentation that will reflect the operations with the formation of intangible assets that will create internal goodwill. It is noted that the use of uniform, agreed forms of primary accounting of intangible assets is also necessary to improve the quality of inspections by regulatory authorities. Primary accounting forms for inventory of intangible assets № IA-4 «Inventory description of intellectual property rights (PR)» and № IA-5 «Inventory description of objects of the right to use natural resources, property and other intangible assets» are developed and recommended to use. It is substantiated to make clarifications and introduce additional details to the inventory descriptions, which is necessary to improve the quality of information formation during the inventory. Emphasis is placed on the need to disclose in the process of inventory objective information about intellectual property objects by checking them for functional compliance, to record the working condition of such objects.

Resumen
The present study was designed to test the hypothesis that response bias was present in the standard form of Kolb's Learning Style Inventory and that this bias lowered reliability. An alternative form of the inventory was created by realigning the response endings to the sentences. Correlations calculated on scores obtained on two separate occasions for the two forms ranged from .45 to .73. Realignment did not improve reliabilities.

The knowledge on the floral and faunal composition of protected areas (PAs) is crucial for formulating suitable conservation plan. In this paper, inventory and species richness of non-marine molluscs of Chintamoni Kar Bird Sanctuary has been made and is for the first time from any PA of West Bengal. A total of 276 specimens belonging to 22 species (10 species of land snails and 12 species of freshwater) of non-marine molluscs (land and freshwater) were collected and examined from this sanctuary. The malacofaunal inventory comprises of nine genera under seven families among land snails and 12 genera & seven families from both gastropods & bivalves under the freshwater forms. As far as species richness is concerned, the family Ariophantidae was found to be dominant among land forms whereas species of the families Thiaridae and Unionidae were dominant among freshwater forms.

Resumen
Music self-concept integrates perceptions, beliefs, and self-schemas about a person’s musical abilities and potential. Like other self-concept dimensions, it is multifaceted, hierarchically organized and has implications for motivation toward musical practice. The Music Self-Perception Inventory (MUSPI) is a theoretically-based instrument assessing six specific music self-concept dimensions, as well as global music self-concept. Nonetheless, its applicability is limited by its length (84 items) and by the fact that it does not provide a way to control for consistency biases in the context of repeated measurement. In this study, we developed and validated two parallel versions (A and B) of the MUSPI, and showed that both yielded equivalent psychometric properties to the original, and were fully equivalent to one another. We also tested whether the MUSPI-A and MUSPI-B psychometric properties generalized (were invariant) across gender and grade-differentiated subgroups. Finally, we examined the convergent validity of the MUSPI-A and MUSPI-B. Results highlighted the psychometric soundness, and equivalence, of the various MUSPI versions on all criteria, and showed that they presented patterns of associations with other constructs equivalent to that observed with the original MUSPI.

Resumen
The Khatena-Morse Multitalent Perception Inventory has two forms of 50 items each designed to identify leadership, music, art, and creative talent of people age 10 yr. and over. It was developed on the basis of previous research and hypotheses about these areas of talent reported and used by the first author in the construction of earlier records for assessment of talent. Most subjects can complete the inventory in 10 to 30 min. Scoring is done by counting affirmative responses; the total serves as a versatility index. Internal consistency, alternate forms, and test-retest reliability, and indices of validity indicate the inventory is promising as a brief screening device for multitalent presently defined as versatility.

Resumen
The length of the Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory (MMPI) is often considered a barrier to its use, leading to the development of short forms. Two methods of abbreviating the revised MMPI have now been developed. One agrees poorly with the long form in terms of which scales are elevated. The second ensures perfect congruence in which scales are elevated but requires computer administration. This article describes the development of a short form representing a compromise approach. The short form was derived using 800 psychiatric inpatients and cross-validated with samples of 658 inpatients and 266 outpatients. It is briefer than the computerized short form but does not achieve perfect congruence with the full inventory. It is longer than earlier noncomputerized short forms but demonstrates greater scale elevation congruence with the full inventory and allows estimates of more scales. The short form offers a reasonable alternative when the full inventory is impractical.

Resumen
The Interpersonal Relationship Inventory (Tilden, Nelson, & May, 1990a) is a 39-item self-report measure to assess three aspects (support, reciprocity, and conflict) of perceived social relationships. In this research, short forms of the Japanese version (Sumi, 2003) of the inventory were developed on the basis of data from two sources. For the item selection, data from 340 Japanese college students (148 women, 192 men; M age = 21.6 yr., SD = 1.6) who completed the original full form of the inventory were used to create three internally consistent short forms. The reliability and construct validity of the short forms were examined upon administering them to among 513 college students (226 women, 287 men; M age = 19.9 yr., SD = 1.4). All the subscales of the short forms had acceptable internal consistency (as = .70-.90) and test-retest reliability ( rs = .72-.81). Confirmatory factor analysis of each short form supported the fact that each form had a three-factor structure. Scores on the subscales shared acceptable overlapping variance with the corresponding subscale scores of the original full form, and these scores were weakly but significantly correlated with the scores for satisfaction with social support, loneliness, and perceived stress. All the short forms had acceptable reliability and construct validity.

Resumen
Abstract This article proposes application of a subset of the Universal Dependencies (UD) standard to the group of Slavic languages. The subset in question comprises morphosyntactic features of various verb forms. We systematically document the inventory of features observable with Slavic verbs, giving numerous examples from 10 languages. We demonstrate that terminology in literature may differ, yet the substance remains the same. Our goal is practical. We definitely do not intend to overturn the many decades of research in Slavic comparative linguistics. Instead, we want to put the properties of Slavic verbs in the context of UD, and to propose a unified (Slavic-wide) application of UD features and values to them. We believe that our proposal is a compromise that could be accepted by corpus linguists working on all Slavic languages.

To develop the Medford Player-Coach Interaction Inventory for assessing positive interaction between players and coaches 23 adjectives of 81 were selected. Subjects were members of 9 women's teams and their coaches. To assess reliability subjects were 5 women's teams and their coaches. Data were collected through 3 forms of the inventory—player's form, coach's form, and validity form. Significant correlations were obtained among the adjectives, with few exceptions. Coefficients for the total score between Day 1 and Day 2 indicated stable scores ( r = .87). Validity was studied by subjects rating each adjective on a 5-point scale as to its predictive value; each adjective received a rating above the mean of 3.0 on a 5-point scale.

Texto completo
Resumen
Sampling with probability proportional to prediction (3P sampling) is useful where the variable of interest to a forest inventory is costly to measure and where there exists a cheaper to measure auxiliary variable, which correlates positively with the variable of interest. Two forms of 3P sampling, termed “classical” and “point-” 3P sampling, have received some use in forest inventory. However, both have limitations that have restricted their use mainly to estimation of tree stem wood volume for timber sales over small forest areas in North America. A more general form of 3P sampling, termed here “ordinary” 3P sampling, has been all but ignored to date. It has potential for use in inventory of a broad range of forest attributes, both floral and faunal and both commercial and environmental, across large or small forest areas. Using a common mathematical approach, the present work derives the estimators of the population mean for these three forms of 3P sampling. Their properties are compared with simple random sampling through Monte Carlo simulations based on two example forest populations. The work lays a basis from which 3P sampling might develop further and enjoy wider application in forest inventory than has been the case previously.

Resumen
We use the implicit Bogning function (iB-function) to proceed to a kind of inventory of the possible solutions of the modified nonlinear partial differential equation which characterizes the modified power line of Noguchi. Firstly, we make an inventory of the forms of solutions through a field of possible solutions, then we identify the most probable forms that we set out to look for. The iB-function is used because it summarizes within it several types of different functions depending on the choice of its characteristics and it is easy to handle in the case of strongly nonlinear partial differential equations. In other words, we use the notion of probability to locate, through the characteristic indices of iB-functions, the forms of solitary and traveling wave solutions likely to propagate in the modified Noguchi power line.

Resumen
The development of a revised Strelau Temperament Inventory (STI‐R) is reported. It is assumed that the STI‐R provides a measure of the basic central nervous system (CNS) properties (strength of excitation, strength of inhibition, and mobility of the CNS) as understood by Pavlov. On the basis of a series of studies, the development of the final forms of the revised STI has undergone several steps. The following forms have been elaborated: (1) a 252‐item pilot form of the STI‐R; (2) a 166‐item STI‐R with ‘yes’ and ‘no’ answer format; (3) a short form (84 items) of the STI‐R (STI‐RS) with ‘yes’ and ‘no’ answer format; (4) a 166‐item STI‐R with a 4‐point Likert scale; and (5) an 84‐item STI‐RS with a 4‐point rating scale. The psychometric characteristics of the consecutive versions of the revised STI improved from step to step, and in general these characteristics are judged as being satisfactory. Especially recommended by the authors are versions (4) and (5), which have, among other things, the highest reliability scores. They are regarded as the final forms of the STI‐R and STI‐RS.

Resumen
The Treatment Evaluation Inventory of Kazdin, French, and Sherick is a 19-item measure of the perceived acceptability of behavioural treatments. Development of two brief forms was based on data from two sources. For Study 1, data from 218 completed questionnaires were used to develop internally consistent brief scales. In Study 2 internal consistency and the validity of the brief forms were estimated for a set of 131 questionnaires. Item reduction was achieved by analysis of item-total minus item correlations. Brief forms with 3, 6, 9, and 12 items were proposed. Their internal consistency (Cronbach α) and construct validity were based on correlations of scores on each short form with the full scale scores and on comparing means of different forms. Discriminant validity was based on the difference between two groups (estimated effect size 0.7). Scores for all forms showed high internal consistency and correlated highly with total scale scores. Only the 12-item brief scale yielded mean scores similar to the full scale. The 3-item form could be used as a quick screen, and the 12-item form for more intensive purposes as it is most similar to the full-scale.

A detailed description is given here of Garifuna, the only Arawakan language spoken in Central America, regarding its verb morphology from a typological-functional perspective. It provides a more encompassing view in comparison to previous studies insofar as it describes the verbal dimension as a thematic unit. It provides an inventory of Garifuna verb forms, with special emphasis on verb-formation, verb classes, the existence and distribution of short forms, as well as the distinction between verboids (nominalized forms) and full verbs; additionally, reference is made to forms fulfilling the profile of auxiliaries, and the paper next identifies all relevant grammatical categories of the Garifuna verb.

Resumen
Urban agriculture is recently being recognized as a distinctive urban land use contributing to greenspaces and food security. The land inventory forms the critical first step in identifying sites for urban agriculture. The authors' analysis greatly expands on prior land inventory strategies, first analyzing land cover to identify all open areas available for siting urban agriculture. Then in GIS, the authors completed a land use suitability analysis, and finally a demographic analysis to assess potential sites for contribution to food security of lower income populations. Results show that Roanoke includes 2,312 hectares suitable for schoolyard gardens, urban farms, community gardens, orchards, and home gardens, of which 189.4 hectares are found in neighborhoods with extremely high rates of poverty. The authors' inventory strategy can be implemented elsewhere without special data or software. A detailed inventory offers opportunities for long-range planning, and broadening participation of stakeholders.

Resumen
The paper focuses on the semantic properties of Classical Armenian periphrastic verbal forms consisting of a participle in -eal and an auxiliary verb em ‘to be’ in past tense; the data are from Armenian translation of four Gospels. The pluperfect in Classical Armenian may function as past perfect representing resultative, stative, and experiential uses. Likewise, irreal (both hypothetical and counterfactual) and antiresultative meanings (non-achieved or cancelled result) are well attested. Finally, standard relative-tense uses are also frequent. The most important discourse function of pluperfect forms is related to marking «out-of-sequence» events. Cross-linguistically, this inventory of functions is more or less standard, but some details require further analysis.

Resumen
This study is a follow-up of previous research on the acquisition of Arabic consonants in normally developing children between the ages of 2 and 6 years. The purpose of this study was to provide normative data on the acquisition of late consonants that had not been acquired by the age of 6;4 (years;months). Speech samples from 60 Arabic-speaking children between ages 6;6 and 8;4, in Amman, Jordan, were analyzed to determine the age at which 10 late consonants had been acquired and to determine the error patterns and sound changes used. Five of these consonants had still not been acquired in their standard form (Educated Spoken Arabic) by even the oldest children. However, 8 of the late consonants were produced in their acceptable colloquial forms by age 7;4 and all 10 by age 8;4. The late acquisition of these consonants was discussed from the point of view of functional load and markedness. Implications for diagnosis of articulation disorders and reading problems were considered.

Resumen
This research evaluated a German version of a recently introduced brief measure of the Big-Five domains (Ten Item Personality Inventory [TIPI]). Since we could not confirm the virtues of the TIPI in a representative, general population-based sample from Germany, we develop a revised short form, measuring the Big-Five personality domains with 16 adjectives. These new scales showed better reliability than the TIPI, fit the Big-Five factor structure, and were orthogonal. As preliminary evidence of construct validity, support was found for convergence correlations with the NEO-FFI and other criterion measures. Although somewhat inferior to standard Big-Five instruments, this brief adjective measure can stand as reasonable proxy for longer Big-Five measures when research conditions do not allow the use of longer instruments.

Resumen
Three short forms of the Marlowe-Crowne Social Desirability Scale were constructed from the results of principal components analysis ( N = 399). Those subscales were compared with short forms developed by previous researchers who used the same methodology. Examination of the subscales indicated that 13 of the scale's 33 items were isolated by at least two of the three reported studies. Those items were used to construct a composite subscale, which appeared to offer a useful alternative to the full scale. Further analysis of the subscale's contents, however, raised questions about the dimensionality of the Marlowe-Crowne scale. Caution was urged in the use and interpretation of both the full inventory and the short form until the meaning of scale scores can be clarified.

Resumen
This study examined sex differences in the self-report of depression in early adolecents. A sample of 269 junior high adolescents completed a biographical data sheet, short forms of the Beck Depression Inventory, the Family Environment Scale, a Social Support Index, and a Life Stress Inventory. A subset of 61 mothers completed a Beck inventory, and a Family Environment Scale on their children. Sex differences were demonstrated in the relation of depression to the family and individual variables. Depression in boys was correlated with life stress and lower grades, while for girls, depression was correlated with several types of social support and lower grades.

Resumen
Abstract One way to classify person systems across languages is by means of the semantic category of person and/or number, where person forms, with distinct referential values, are supposed to be in complementary distribution to each other. However, when we look into some finer details in a language-particular person system, i.e. that of the Puxian dialect in Chinese, there are person forms or expressions that are engaged in supplementary distribution and have meanings beyond what is literally said (Grice 1989). Different from previous approaches, which tended to analyze a person system into separate domains of study, e.g. reflexivity, intensification, logophoricity, empathy, etc., the author proposes that all the person-related meanings (semantics & pragmatics) constitute a “function inventory”, which has a stable structure called “inventory structure”. In the structure, each of the overtly expressed person meanings is assigned to a choice of node, from which multiple outcomes can be developed. The significance of this approach is that it tries to circumvent some pre-established categories and focuses instead on meaningful differences in a system (Sausurre 1983).

Resumen
Using figures presented by the Eysencks, very small correlations between extraversion and neuroticism scales of the Eysenck Personality Inventory were statistically significant for Forms A and B combined and for Form B using large groups. While it is acknowledged that these results may not be of immense practical value, they do support the findings by Behr and Howarth, among others. It is concluded that these scales for the forms mentioned above are minimally correlated and so not completely orthogonal. Whether this reflects error of measurement or other factors cannot be discerned from present data.

Resumen
This study provided evidence of reliability and validity for the four scales of the Driving Anger Expression Inventory. Alpha reliabilities for scales ranged from .84 to .89. Measures of aggressive anger expression while driving (Verbal Aggressive Expression, Personal Physical Aggressive Expression, and Use of the Vehicle to Express Anger scales) correlated positively with each other and negatively with the Adaptive/Constructive Expression scale. Scores on the three aggressive forms of anger expression correlated positively with trait anger and measures of driving-related anger, aggression, and risky behavior, whereas scores on the Adaptive/Constructive Expression scale correlated negatively with these variables. Reports of aggressive and risky behavior correlated most strongly with the Use of the Vehicle to Express Anger scale. Forms of anger expression were minimally or uncorrelated with rated trait anxiety and reports of moving violations, close calls, and accidents. Findings replicated earlier findings and provided further evidence for the reliability and validity of the Driving Anger Expression Inventory.

Resumen
An office stationery inventory system that is accurate and up to date is needed by the company. In the process of stationery inventory of the Tirta Kerta Raharja District Office in Tangerang Regency, which is done at this time is still manual so it is less effective, because the warehouse sub-section utilizes office stationery inventory documents in the form of submission forms and inputs office stationery inventory data manually so that the monitoring process is difficult and vulnerable to loss or damage to documents. Therefore, it is necessary to design a computerized web-based office stationery inventory information system in order to facilitate its users. With the computerized web- based office stationery inventory system can facilitate the warehouse subsection in inputting data so that inventory monitoring is carried out regularly to make it more accurate and optimal. Data collection methods are done by observation, interviews, and literature studies from various studies, while the system analysis method is done using the PIECES method and the design method uses UML (Unified Modeling Language) and PHP programming language and MysQL as a database. This is the rationale for how researchers analyze the existing office stationery inventory system at the Tirta Kerta Raharja Public Corporation in the District of Tangeran so that it can facilitate the performance to be more effective, efficient and accurate.

Resumen
The paper based on the analysis of two sources — Inventory revision book of the Tara uezd (parish) and Tara Inventory Revision book of 1701 — deals with the landowing forms typical to the Tatars and Bokharians in the early XVIII centuries. Cropland and noncropland were included in the descriptions together with hayfield meadows, enclosed pasture and partially fishing spots. They had specific peculiarities in different ethno-social groups of taxed estate. The main landowing form for the Tatar servicemen was household land consolidation. Small settlements and own mowings were also typical. Landowing of the Tatars who were imposed a tribute in furs was collective. Among Bokhariansland owners and lackland people were distinguished, the lands were primarily used by families or clans. Tatar servicemen and those imposed a tribute in furs and Bokharians also collectively used mowing, noncropland and enclosed pasturesbecause of cohabitation in neighbouring or the same settlements.

Resumen
The article emphasizes that combating illegal (smuggling) movement and / or transportation is one of the priority activities of the state. The statistical reporting of the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine and the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine on counteracting illegal (smuggling) movement and / or transportation is analyzed. It is noted that despite the considerable legal and regulatory framework in the field of combating smuggling and other types of illegal movement and / or transportation across the customs border of Ukraine, the number of cases of offenses in this area is increasing. The absence of sound scientific development of the types and forms of smuggling (export) to the territory (from the territory) of illegal migrants, inventory, narcotic drugs and their precursors, etc. is noted. The special relevance of such studies is emphasized in the context of the visa-free regime and the regimes established during the resolution of the internal armed conflict. The current national legislation in the field of combating illegal (smuggling) movement and / or transportation to the territory (from the territory) of illegal migrants, inventory, narcotics and their precur-sors is analyzed. Some types of illegal (smuggling) movement and / or transportation have been identified and investigated. Emphasis is placed on the classification of legal liability for illegal (smuggling) movement and / or transportation. External detection of smuggling by means of which smuggling is carried out outside customs control or by means of concealment from customs control is designated as a form of illegal (smuggling) movement and / or transportation to the territory (from the territory) of illegal migrants, inventory and their narcotics precursors. The relationship between the form and method of illegal (smuggling) movement and / or transportation has been proved. The conclusion was made about the need to amend the legislation in this area.

Resumen
The current study builds on research on mood distinction in Spanish, which has focused on the subjunctive mood, by examining the full inventory of verb forms that second-language learners and native speakers (NSs) of Spanish use in mood-choice contexts. Twenty NSs and 130 learners corresponding to five proficiency levels completed three oral-elicitation tasks. The results show that participants use a wide repertoire of tense/mood/aspect forms in mood-choice contexts and that NSs and learners use largely the same forms. An analysis of the conditional and imperfect suggests that learners tend to restructure and strengthen their form-function connections between these verb forms and a range of functions.
