År 2012 sänktes momsen på restaurang- och cateringverksamhet från 25 % till 12 %. Huvudsyftet med denna sänkning var att öka sysselsättningen i restaurangbranschen. Liknande momssänkningar har tidigare gjort på flera håll i övriga Europa. Denna studies syfte är att utvärdera om denna momssänkning har ökat sysselsättningen och så fall i hur stor grad. För att skatta denna effekt har en difference-in-difference modell använts. Studien kommer fram till att det troligtvis har skett en ökning av sysselsättningen i restaurangbranschen men har svårt att vissa precis hur stor denna ökning har varit.

Disco is an open source MapReduce framework and an alternative to Hadoop. Preemption of tasks is an important feature which helps organizations relying on the MapReduce paradigm to handle their heterogeneous workload usually constituted of research (long duration and with low priority) and production (short duration and with high priority) applications. Resumen
To improve the processing efficiency of jobs in distributed computing, the concept of coflow is proposed. A coflow is a collection of flows that are semantically correlated in a multi-stage computation task. A job consists of multiple coflows and can be usually formulated as a Directed-Acyclic Graph (DAG). A proper scheduling of coflows can significantly reduce the completion time of jobs in distributed computing. However, this scheduling problem is proved to be NP-hard.
