Na psicologia analítica o desenvolvimento da discussão sobre a natureza da imagem, suas manifestações e aplicações clínicas manifesta-se, primeiramente, na reflexão teórica e, posteriormente, na identificação de práticas clínicas que refletem a operacionalização e a constante atualização desses postulados.
