Die auslandsdeutsche Presse wurde bisher kaum wissenschaftlich untersucht, obwohl sie besonders durch ihr interkulturelles Profil, viel Potenzial bringt (Földes, 2019: 1). Charakterystyczną cechą międzywojennej kultury muzycznej Pragi – jednego z czołowych ośrodków kultury muzycznej w ówczesnej Europie Środkowej, była wielokulturowość. Gabriel Millet was one of the first university-educated researchers that studied Serbian medieval monuments in the early 20th century. Thanks to this French Byzantinist, those monuments were included in broader overviews of Christian art early on. Millet’s work primarily set solid academic foundations for the research of Serbian medieval architecture. The church of Taxiarches is one of the most important monuments of the Paleologan era in Thessaloniki. During its long life, it underwent several modifications, that blurred its original dedication and func- tion.
