Se presenta el an&aacute;lisis del material malacol&oacute;gico de un fog&oacute;n fechado hacia el 800 d. C. en la costa central de Chile. El an&aacute;lisis muestra las preferencias alimentarias en un momento del periodo Alfarero Temprano (fase Bato), que incluye una amplia variedad de fauna del intermareal arenoso y rocoso, incluyendo la estrella de mar.
