Tato práce se zabývá vícekriteriálním lineárním programováním v prostředí Microsoft Excel. V rámci diplomové práce byla vytvořena aplikace SYMCLIP, která funguje jako doplněk MS Excel. Aplikace je určena pro řešení úloh vícekriteriálního lineárního programování pomocí metod s informací a priori a interaktivních metod. Dále jsou v aplikaci k dispozici tři metody pro odhad váhového vektoru. Aplikace by měla sloužit mimo jiné studentům Vysoké školy ekonomické při výuce předmětů zabývajících se teorií rozhodování.

The reliability redundancy optimization solver (RROS) improves on a hybrid technique of dynamic programming with depth first search with tighter variable bounds. The thesis describes implementation of Business Intelligence solution in mid-sized company which produces and sells animal nutrition products. Currently the company uses basic tools for reporting, mostly Excel application. Considering the data growth, that solution is about not to be sufficient. In the first part of the thesis, the Business Intelligence principals are introduced to the reader, so one is provided with enough knowledge to understand the issue of data processing, transforming and storing. Basics of data visualization used for decision making in the company are introduced as well.

In my work I deal with the issue of data mining and its use in the commercial sphere. Specifically, I focused on marketing and sales forecast. The aim of my work was first to assemble knowledge from data mining and then use it to create sales forecasts using data mining add-on for Excel.
