Resumen
Although there is an international vehicular consensus about signing, the maximum speed allowed or connecting the most significant regions together, their nature is different all based on geographical, cultural or social conditions. Rest stops along the roads reflect each country dispositions. Rest stops are the place where different social and national clusters meet. At this moment building up the rest stops is on behalf of the Czech republic which is not that much interested in it. Instead of taking care and maintain them, because the current state of the reststops is not satisfactory, the Czech republic is letting them to the third parties - supranational corporations. This leads to unpleasant lines along the highways accompanying by petrol stations and cheesy fastfoods. There is no place for rest stops without the need of consummation. The Czech republic has currently begun planning and building up new kilometers of highways and the new opportunities of rest stops arise. Because the existing site is overloaded with petrol stations, supranational corporations are no longer interested in these plots. State has an opportunity to take over and redesign these neglected plots on his own.

Although the earliest depictions of Faustus portray him as an astrologer, very few publications to date have touched on the role of astrology in the life of this infamous character. Parallel to the decline in astrological sciences beginning in the seventeenth century, post-Scientific Revolution depictions of Faust have deemphasized astrology as a primary pursuit of the figure. I examine the status of astrology in four versions of the Faust(us) myth: The anonymous Historia von D. Johann Fausten and its English translation/adaptation as The English Faust Book, Christopher Marlowe's Doctor Faustus, Johann Wolfgang von Goethe's Faust, and Thomas Mann's Doktor Faustus. I argue that the decline in the status of astrology corresponds to historically weakening belief in the analogy of microcosm and macrocosm as epistemologically relevant and analyze the implication of the Faust figure in genuinely modem quandaries of skepticism and aesthetic representation.

Resumen
As new musical styles have emerged in the twentieth century with characteristic sounds, chords, forms, meters, and intervals, teachers need to broaden and re-define the way they introduce musical concepts to beginning piano students. The purpose of this study is to offer different instructional possibilities aside from conventional methods of teaching beginning pianists. This is accomplished through a comparison of the two different approaches of the Hungarian composer Béla Bartók and the American composer Ross Lee Finney. Bartók’s Mikrokosmos, a graded set of 153 pieces, and Finney's 32 Piano Games are examined through this paper.

Este trabalho apresenta análises de peças do Mikrokosmos de Béla Bartók e da Prole do Bebê n.1 de Heitor Villa-Lobos a partir da identificação de coleções referenciais com o objetivo de verificar quais coleções são utilizadas e em que medida o uso destas é essencial para a estruturação da linguagem nos dois conjuntos de peças. Constatouse que, de fato, há o emprego extensivo e diversificado de coleções de referência e que seu papel na estruturação harmônica de ambas as obras é fundamental. A presente dissertação insere-se em um âmbito bastante amplo de pesquisas que têm procurado demonstrar o funcionamento da linguagem musical dos compositores modernistas da primeira metade do século XX. Seguiu-se, portanto, os passos teóricos das metodologias de Forte, segundo a leitura de Straus, conciliando-a, ainda, com as contribuições fundamentais de Antokoletz - tanto para Bartók quanto Villa-Lobos -, de Tymoczko, Cohn e Van den Toorn. Utilizou-se também, como referencial teórico, Salles, Coelho de Souza e Pascoal, por suas pesquisas sobre Villa-Lobos. Às coleções mencionadas por Straus - diatônica, de tons inteiros e octatônica -, acrescentaram-se outras duas - pentatônica e acústica - referidas por Tymoczko. Pode-se, com isso, perceber que o pentatonismo, como base da formação do diatonismo, é essencial para a geração de todas essas formações escalares. Verificouse também o uso fundamental de pentacordes diatônicos e que isso tem estreita relação com a fisiologia dos cinco dedos da mão acionando o teclado do piano. Demonstrou-se, portanto, aquilo que havia sido sugerido pelo trabalho teóricoanalítico de outros autores: que as coleções referenciais formam a base da linguagem harmônica modernista de Bartók e Villa-Lobos, e que isso está exposto em tabelas que dão um quadro detalhado do uso dessas coleções. Esta pesquisa sugere que procedimentos semelhantes possam ser empregados em estudos futuros de outras obras, tanto de Bartók quanto de Villa-Lobos. Existe, ainda, a possibilidade que este método possa ser estendido ao estudo da obra de outros autores posteriores a Villa-Lobos, como Santoro, Mignone e Guarnieri, que eventualmente podem ter assimilado processos composicionais semelhantes.
This dissertation examines pieces from Béla Bartok\'s Mikrokosmos and Villa-Lobos\'s Prole do Bebê n.1 through the identification of referential collections in order to verify which of these collections are used and how important they are in structuring these works. As a result, the extensive use of referential collections could be detected as pitch-class harmonic structures playing a fundamental role in both Mikrokosmos and Prole do Bebê n.1. This research is based on a broad context of theorists that have described the musical language procedures on modernist composers from the first half of the twentieth century. The theorists whose paths were followed are Forte, through Straus\'s reading, conciliated with contributions of Antokoletz - for both Bartók and Villa-Lobos -, Tymoczko, Cohn and Van den Toorn. The referential bibliography about the Brazilian composer by Salles, Coelho de Souza and Pascoal was of great importance in the development of this work. To the group of collections mentioned by Straus - diatonic, whole-tone and octatonic - we added another two - pentatonic and acoustic - based on Tymoczko. Therefore the importance of pentatonism in generating all these scales could be demonstrated, as well as the fundamental use of diatonic pentachords and its close relation to the five fingers approaching the keyboard. In conclusion, we have further asserted what other authors had already suggested: referential collections form the harmonic ground for the language of the modern composers such as Bartók and Villa-Lobos. This is shown in detailed tables. This dissertation suggests that the same analytical procedures might be extended on future researches not only to Bartók\'s but also to Villa-Lobos\'s music. Further studies on other composers that might have employed the same techniques under the influence of Villa-Lobos - such as Santoro, Mingone and Guarnieri - are also possible.

Resumen
One of the most important compositional theories of Alexander Tcherepnin (1899-1977), Russian-American composer and pianist, is the Eurasian ideology, which was a result of the influence of Eastern culture. Inspired by this theory, Tcherepnin not only extricated himself from his own compositional techniques, but also intensified his search for musical folklore. In April, 1934, he began a world tour which was to include China, Japan, Singapore, the Philippines, Egypt, and Palestine, to search for "musical folklore." He became so fascinated with the culture of ancient China that he cancelled the rest of his arrangements, and, except for visits to Japan, he remained in China for three years, until the outbreak of the Sino-Japanese War in July, 1937. During his three-year stay in China, Tcherepnin was greatly attracted to Chinese culture, and as a result, Chinese culture influenced his music to a significant degree. This essay examines the manner in which Tcherepnin's music was influenced by his experiences in China. In order to precisely analyze the close affiliation between Chinese musical elements and Tcherepnin's "Chinese Mikrokosmos," many original Chinese sources proved indispensable in this study. These sources include Chinese folk music, theater music, instrumental music, religious music, and Chinese periodicals and newspapers that reported Tcherepnin's activities in China (1934-7). The organization of this dissertation as follows: Chapter I provides a brief biographical sketch of Tcherepnin, traces his activities in China, and introduces one of his greatest "Chinese" compositions, "Chinese Mikrokosmos," which represents the fruits of his labors to scrutinize and absorb Chinese musical language. Chapters II and III are devoted to exploring how Chinese folk and instrumental music inspired Tcherepnin's "Chinese Mikrokosmos." Chapter IV summarizes this study.

Un­ter­suchungen zur Wirkung von subletalen Konzentrationen einer Umweltchemikalie auf Populationsebene, zum Beispiel mit künst­lichen Fließgewässersystemen (Mikrokosmen) können aussagekräftigere Beiträge zur ökotoxikologischen Bewertung einer Umweltchemikalie liefern. Außerdem können bei solchen Untersuchungen mögliche indirekte Effekte erfaßt werden. Über die Reaktion von Fließgewässer-Biozönosen gegenüber Um­welt­chemikalien ist relativ wenig bekannt. Die überwiegende Zahl der Untersuchungen zur Abschätzung des Ge­fähr­dungs­po­tentials von Umweltchemikalien wurde mit Testsystemen für Lebensgemeinschaften in stehenden Gewässern untersucht. Die Übertragbarkeit der Ergebnisse dieser Tests auf Fließgewässer-Lebensgemeinschaften ist meist nicht gegeben. Daher ist es notwendig Testsysteme zu etablieren, mit denen die Wirkung von Umweltchemikalien auf Fließgewässer-Le­bens­ge­mein­schaf­ten untersucht werden kann. In einem Gewächshaus wurden fünf Fließrinnen etabliert, mit denen die physikalisch-chemischen Bedingungen in einem Bach simuliert werden können. Im Ge­gensatz zu Untersuchungen einer komplexen Le­bens­ge­mein­schaft mit hoher Variabilität, wie sie sich beispielsweise durch das Einbringen von na­tür­lich­em Sediment aus Fließgewässern einstellt, wurde in diesen Experimenten die Wirkung von Che­mikalien auf eine einfache Lebensgemeinschaft untersucht. Die Le­bens­ge­mein­schaft in den Fließrinnen bestand deshalb aus wenigen, aus­ge­wählten Arten. Untersucht wurden die Kon­zen­tra­tionen 0,6, 6, 60 und 600 µg/l (Terbutryn) und 0,05, 0,5, 5 und 50 µg/l (Fenoxycarb). Gegenstand der vorliegenden Arbeit waren die Untersuchungen mit Gammarus fossarum. In einem akuten Toxizitätstest wurde die LC50 von Terbutryn für adulte und juvenile Gammariden ermittelt. In den Fließ­rin­nen­ex­perimenten mit Terbutryn und Fenoxycarb wurden po­pu­la­tions­relevante Pa­ra­meter der Gammaridenpopulationen untersucht. Ob und in welchem Um­fang sich Effekte, die mit den Stan­dard­tests gemessen wurden, auf bestimmte öko­toxi­ko­lo­gi­sche End­punkte der Population auswirken, kann nicht immer unmittelbar abgeleitet werden. Eine Möglichkeit wäre die aufwendige Durchführung von Po­pu­la­tionsexperimenten mit einfachen oder komplexeren Mo­dell­öko­systemen über eine lange Zeit. Eine andere Möglichkeit ist die Nutzung mathematischer Modelle zur Beschreibung der Populationsdynamik. Das begleitend zu den Untersuchungen entwickelte individuenbasierte Re­pro­duk­tions­modell GamMod bildet die Populationsdynamik einer ab­ge­schlos­senen Population von Gammarus fossarum in künstlichen Fließgewässersystemen ab. Es wird die Struktur und Dy­na­mik des realen Systems (Populationsdynamik) unter Ein­beziehung der Kenntnisse des Reproduktionszyklus modelliert. Mo­dell­szenarien sollen Aus­sagen über den Einfluß der Än­der­ung einer Variablen bezüglich der Populationsdynamik liefern.

This study was initially based on Bartok’s biography background, the influence of the creation and piano music characteristics in the different periods. We then aimed at the creation background of Mikrokosmos, the creative convention such as form, rhythm, metre, scale, mode, dynamic, tempo and expression technicality etc., classifications of playing technique and musical notation to get the following conclusions:  The idiosyncrasy of Mikrokosmos was based on folk music and full of powerful rhythm.Modalities and non-diatonic scales are used more often than major and minor scales. To learner, Mikrokosmos is provided comprehensive development in every field, including the sense of rhythm and the buildup of melody or acoustics . The classification of playing technique in Mikrokosmos includes fingerings,intervals, tautophony,chords,change of postion,unison,alternation of hands,crossing hands,pedal points,thumb under, ornament,pedals, modern piano technique etc. Bartok made an arrangement in Mikrokosmos step by step, and his thought came from simple to complication.  Bartok created a special musical notation such as staffs,Bartok-devised key signatures, accidentals, 1/2pedal, harmonics (◇). Some symbols are used to separate phrases, such as “│” ,“,”, fermata, etc., which is not common. Among all, “│” symbol is used most frequently to separate phrases. Mikrokosmos would be the entry test book for the music of twenty century. Not only it makes learners understand the past music, but also makes a clearly perception on “the music of twenty century”. Therefore, the more the music of Bartk is understood, the easier “the music of twenty century” is known.

The main purpose of this research is discussing the musical form, musical style, and performance skills of Bartók’s Mikrokosmos Piano Collections Volumes 1-3; and then addressing the main teaching points, the skills and playing manners that should belearned, so as to generalize the skill, technique of composing music, and musical notation that Bartók always used. Next, the commonness of the 96 pieces is analyzed andconferred to those areas that are related. With this study, one hopes that the analysis of the teaching contents of Bartók’s Mikrokosmos Piano Collections Volumes 1-3 could help the domestic piano teachers to understand this set of teaching materials. And also, itcan promote the utilization of ideas and abilities in order to promote the domestic piano educational connotation. Moreover, one hopes that when learner is playing Bartók’s Mikrokosmos Piano Collections, the learner can understand Bartók’s music language and then understand the connotation of modern music, and also like and admire the modern music. After the analysis and discussion of this study, it concludes Bartók’s Mikrokosmos Piano Collections Volumes 1-3 as follows: 1. There are four classifications of Mikrokosmos Volumes 1-3 according to music styles: a. 65 pieces are about musical phenomenon b. 9 pieces are about reflection of life c. 16 pieces are about piano skills d. 13 pieces are about folksong style. 2. There are five classifications of Mikrokosmos Volumes 1-3 according to music form of the music composition: a. 32 pieces are about One-part form. b. 34 pieces are about Binary form. c. 23 pieces are about Ternary form. d. 2 pieces are about Round form. e. 4 pieces are about Variation form. f. 1 pieces are about Bar form. 3. According to the significance of Mikrokosmos Volumes 1-3 as piano teaching materials, the arrangements of its skill learning are as follows:- a. The independent training of fingers b. The stretch of fingers and the lessening of hand shape c. The position changing of hands. According to the significance of Mikrokosmos Piano Collections as piano teaching materials, the arrangements of its skill learning are from simple to complicated, and from easy to gradually difficult, the skills of piano playing are proceeded in an orderly way so that the learners will become familiar with time; therefore, this is an excellent fundamental teaching material for piano learning. 4. According to the significance of Mikrokosmos Volumes 1-3 as piano teaching materials, the arrangements of music annotation study are the same as the arrangements of skill learning, they are both from simple to complicated, and from easy to gradually difficult, the learners can learn all kinds of musical essential elements, musical structures, and annotations of the music composition’s style in an orderly way. Mikrokosmos completely uses the piano playing training of piano pieces to let musical learners gradually absorb and learn the music accomplishments that they should have. In conclude, Mikrokosmos can be described as an excellent fundamental teaching material for the modern musicians.

Presented diploma thesis focuses on a new type of lightweight polyurethane foam (PUR), which has been manufactured with the intention of it being biodegradable within currently valid norms on biodegradation of plastic materials. The future use of said polyurethane foam is as carrier for odor repellent to avoid wildlife-vehicle collisions in agriculture landscape, where, after the end of its lifespan it could be left to biodegrade in soil the environment. The examined material, PUR BIO-10, was tested for biodegradability in laboratory microcosms according to standardized method ASTM D5988-03. Biodegradability was tested in two separate soil types - forest soil and agricultural soil, which have been selected with the future use of the material in mind. According to the method biodegradability was measured as mineralization of the material by capturing evolved carbon dioxide. During the first trial the mineralization of polyurethane foam was 10.65 ± 2.54 % in the forest soil and 20.48 ± 9.18 % in the agricultural soil. During the second trial the mineralization was 3.88 ± 3.42 % in the forest soil and 8.96 ± 1.79 % in the agricultural soil. Resumen
This diploma thesis has been carried out as a part of the project Utilization of long term (passive) sampling methods combined with in situ microcosms for assessment of (bio)degradation potential (PASSES). In the frame of the project groundwater remediation took place in the premises of Farmak a.s. in Olomouc using a pilot photooxidation unit and efficiency of the remediation was monitored through passive and active sampling methods. Pilot photooxidation unit is a technology based on the H2O2/UV-C photochemical oxidation of organic pollutants. In this work optimization tests of the pilot photooxidation unit were performed. The residence time of the groundwater in the photoreactors, required for its sufficient decontamination from pharmaceuticals and aromatic hydrocarbons, was 2.5 hours. 91% degradation of the pharmaceuticals and 80% degradation of aromatic hydrocarbons were reached during this interval. Although the removal efficiency of the pharmaceuticals by the photooxidation unit was high, the pilot photooxidation unit was not able to effectively remove the pharmaceuticals at the studied locality. Resumen
The aim of the dissertation thesis is to study the non-mathematical content of textbooks of mathematics. Textbooks of mathematics are not only a pedagogical document but also a cultural artefact that is produces in a particular society with its own cultural norms. While working with a textbook of mathematics, pupils come across many images of everyday life. Yet, since the main goal of a mathematics textbook is to help pupils gain knowledge and skills in mathematics, not much attention is paid to textual (non-mathematical, cultural) content. This means that pupils almost on everyday basis visit a world that tries to awaken the illusion of being "real", of being model of reality but in fact is a model for what is perceived as normal. The question asked in the presented research is what images of everyday life pupils come across while working with Czech textbooks of mathematics and whether there are differences among textbooks by different authors in this respect. Within the frame of this research, five sets of textbooks for 6th grade of lower secondary schools and four textbooks for 9th grade (only the chapter on financial mathematics, an area closely connected to everyday life) were analysed with respect to their non-mathematical, cultural content.
