Dalam studi pemikiran Islam zaman modern ini, hermeneutika merupakan trend baru yang sebelumnya tidak mendapat cukup banyak perhatian dari sarjanawan dan cendikiawan muslim. Hermeneutika mulai banyak digemari setelah informasi dan pengetahuan tentangnya banyak menggeliat setelah banyak tulisan dan karya yang muncul dari penulis dan cendikiawan Arab kontemporer. Adapun kata hadis, yakni adalah segala sesuatu yang diambil dari Rasulullah SAW, baik berupa sabda, perbuatan, taqrīr, atau sifat-sifat beliau baik di masa sebelum beliau diangkat menjadi rasul, ataupun sesudahnya. Beberapa sarjana Muslim yang to some extent menerima Hermeneutika, tentang bagaimana memahami ayat-ayat Alquran dan Hadis Nabi Muhammad SAW antara lain Fazlur Rahman, Mohammed Talbi, Nasr Hamid Abū Zaid, Muhammad Abid Al Jabiri, Aminah Wadud, Muhammad Sabesthari, Muhammad Syahrur, Abdullah Saeed, dan masih banyak lagi. Salah satu tokoh Muslim yang melakukan upaya tersebut, ialah Abū Syuqqah.

This article discusses Abdullah Saeed's thought on contextual exegesis of the Quran. The background of Abdullah Saeed's thought on the importance of conducting contextual exegesis was based on the solid domination of literal (textual) commentary of the Quran, particularly regarding ethics-legal verses. Based on Saeed's point of view, ethic-legal verses commentary must account for social changes to support the close relationship between Quran and the current Muslims. Several intellectual figures influenced Abdullah Saeed's thoughts related to contextual exegeses, such as Fazlur Rahman, Ghulam Ahmad Parvez, Nasr Hamid Abu Zayd, Mohammed Arkoun, Farid Esack, and Khaled Abou El Fadl. The theoretical foundations of the Quran contextual exegesis proposed by Abdullah Saeed can be traced back through his notion on revelation concept, the flexibility of meaning, and text meaning as a commentary.

Following the era of prophet Muhammed (PBUH), the nation has religiously relied on one of the four accredited jurisprudential doctrines. Despite their differences in many scientific issues, these doctrines did not deviate from the approach of the prophet’s companions in ruling judgments. It is the wisdom of God to set certain general guidelines and principles for Sharia Law to ensure a well-organized life for the people in all times and places. The Islamic law is characterized by immortality. It remains as long as man exists. Its branches are renewed with the passag of every day and night. It is preserved by God the Almighty. This comes out after the Islamic nation has woken up from its inattention and dormancy and regain its personality. Allah the Almighty has true believers in every period and time. They are mandated to revive the disappeared principles of this religion. In the light of this fact, it is a matchless honor to be the servants of this nation and, with the help of the almighty, to enlighten people with knowledge. If we succeed in communicating our message it is because of the blessing so the almighty but if we fail it is because of the whims of the self. The advantage of the school Alasfia extend beyond the mosques and into society. Many of the school alumni excelled in academic study. Among those outstanding alumni is Sheikh Yassin Mohammed Saeed al-Walid, who will be the focus of our article. The first segment of this paper considers the role of the students of the Asfiya school in the field of jurisprudence and academic excellence. The second segment explores the life of Sheikh Yassin Mohammed Saeed Al-Waleed. The third segment discusses the provisions of the Hajj and Umrah in terms of methodology and resources and inferences and scientific value. Finally, in the conclusion we present the most important results we have arrived at through this research. We pray Allah the Almighty to deem our work beneficial for muslims and finally all praise is due Allah and He is the guardian of success. Aim and objective: The study attempts to investigate the knowledge and actual condition of antibiotic uses among university students to get rid from different infectious diseases. Methods: The study was conducted in a residential dormitory of a public university of Bangladesh. About 145 (n=145) students took part in the study which was conducted in January, 2020. Data were collected on the basis of a questionnaire made of basic questions about antibiotics and its resistance. Results: Among 145 students, 94.5% previously known about antibiotic which is impressive but a vast majority (46.4%) had no idea about antibiotic resistance and 51% did not know anything what will happen if bacteria become resistant to antibiotics which is alarming. It was found that the most used antibiotic was Azithromycin (46.4%), whereas amoxicillin (40%) was second highest. Those antibiotics were used to treat mostly fever (63.4%), various infections (31%), cold cough(25.4%),diarrhea(15.5%) irritable bowel syndrome(9.9%) etc. Most students (83.7%) used antibiotics as per doctor’s prescription. About 50% students had knowledge about antibiotic course and resistance which was evaluated by simple yes/no question. Conclusion: This work highlights the basic statistics of the knowledge about antibiotics use and abuse among the students of a residential dormitory of a public University of Bangladesh. Background and aims: Yemen has made notable progress in dropping child mortality over the past four decades. In spite of this, due to political instability and the foreign aggression on the country in the past ten years, the incidence of diseases and deaths escalated. The mortality rate of children under the age of 5 in Yemen is still high compared to many low and middle countries (LMIC). Alternatively, patterns and causes of child morbidity in Yemen have not been well inspected. The aim of this study was to investigate the trend of morbidity and causes of disease among children ≤16 years old in Sana'a city, Yemen from 1978 to 2018 based on data from a single child health center. Subjects and methods: Data was collected from a private children Health Center in Sana'a. Data collection and analysis was performed for 4 months starting from 15/6/2020 and ending on 9/26/2020. The records included clinical and laboratory investigations for children who visited the out-patient clinic of the medical center. The study included 8,861 clinical diagnosed cases, 4,833 males and 4,028 females, between the ages of less than one year and 16 years. The frequency distribution of the different variables and the ratios of cases containing data on these variables were analyzed and their significance (P-value) was calculated using Chi-squared "N-1" test. Results: Between 1978 and 2018, respiratory diseases were the most common accounting for 44.3% of the total causes, followed by gastrointestinal diseases (30.3%), and other diseases such as skin diseases, nutritional disorders, and urinary tract infections by 5.2%, 3.9% and 3.9 % respectively. In addition, central nervous system diseases (CNS) (3.1%), hematology (1.7%), and heart disease (1.33%) were rare childhood diseases. Conclusions: Respiratory diseases and gastrointestinal diseases remain among the main causes of children's diseases in Sana'a, Yemen. These findings call for better newborn and child recovery and survival interventions that focus on the key factors that lead to childhood disease. When subjected to a combination of moment and shear force, a reinforced concrete (RC) beam with either little or no transverse reinforcement can fail in shear before reaching its full flexural strength. This type of failure is sudden in nature and usually disastrous because it does not give sufficient warning prior to collapse. To prevent this type of shear failure, reinforced concrete beams are traditionally reinforced with stirrups. However, the use of stirrups is not always cost effective since it increases labor costs, and can make casting concrete difficult in situations where closely-spaced stirrups are required. The use of steel fiber reinforced concrete (SFRC) could be considered as a potential alternative to the use of traditional shear reinforcement. Concrete is very weak and brittle in tension, SFRC transforms this behaviour and improves the diagonal tension capacity of concrete and thus can result in significant enhancements in shear capacity. However, one of the drawbacks associated with SFRC is that the addition of fibers to a regular concrete mix can cause problems in workability. The use of self-consolidating concrete (SCC) is an innovative solution to this problem and can result in improved workability when fibers are added to the mix. The thesis presents the experimental results from tests on twelve slender self-consolidating fiber reinforced concrete (SCFRC) beams tested under four-point loading. The results demonstrate the combined use of SCC and steel fibers can improve the shear resistance of reinforced concrete beams, enhance crack control and can promote flexural ductility. Despite extensive research, there is a lack of accurate and reliable design guidelines for the use of SFRC in beams. This study presents a rational model which can accurately predict the shear resistance of steel fiber reinforced concrete beams. The thesis also proposes a safe and reliable equation which can be used for the shear design of SFRC beams.
