Es werden Zerfallsbreiten des Omega Mesons im Vakuum und in kalter Kernmaterie im Rahmen eines aus Pionen und Rho Mesonen bestehenden hadronischen Modells untersucht. Dietary omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids have shown substantial benefits in humans including lowered serum cholesterol, blood pressure and indices of stress. The caloric and extracaloric benefits of feeding fat supplemented diets to performance horses are well documented (Webb et al., 1987; Meyers et al., 1989; Julen et al., 1995). Omega-limit sets are interesting and important objects in the study of discrete dynamical systems. Using a variety of methods, we present and extend existing results in this area of research. Of particular interest is the property of internal chain transitivity, and we present several characterizations of omega-limit sets in terms of this property.
